| 2 | Fault plane parameters of Sanhe-Pinggu M8 earthquake in 1679 determined using present-day small earthquakes显示文摘The great Sanhe-Pinggu M8 earthquake occurred in 1679 was the largest surface rupture event recorded in history in the northern part of North China plain. This study determines the fault geometry of this earthquake by inverting seismological data of present-day moderate-small earthquakes in the focal area. We relocated those earthquakes with the double-difference method.Based on the assumption that clustered small earthquakes often occur in the vicinity of fault plane of large earthquake, and referring to the morphology of the long axis of the isoseismal line obtained by the predecessors, we selected a strip-shaped zone from the relocated earthquake catalog in the period from 1980 to 2009 to invert fault plane parameters of this earthquake. The inversion results are as follows: the strike is 38.23°, the dip angle is 82.54°,the slip angle is-156.08°, the fault length is about 80 km,the lower-boundary depth is about 23 km and the buried depth of upper boundary is about 3 km. This shows that the seismogenic fault is a NNE-trending normal dip-slip fault,southeast wall downward and northwest wall uplift, with the right-lateral strike-slip component. The granodiorites comprise of SiO_2 of 61. 34%--62. 54%,Al_2 O_3 of 16. 46%--16. 87%,MgO of 2. 37%--2. 66%,( Na_2 O + K_2 O) of 5. 39%--5. 74%with the Na2 O/K_2 O of 1. 46--1. 88,Mg~# of 47. 03--48. 04,and show metaluminous characteristics with A/CNK of 0. 94--0. 96,belonging to calc-alkaline I-type granites geochemically. The light and heavy rare earth elements in the rocks are distinctly fractionated and have ' right-inclined' distribution patterns with weak negative Eu anomalies( δEu = 0. 84--0. 91). Moreover,these samples show enrichments in LILEs( e. g.,Rb,Ba,K and Sr),especially in Sr [( 343--452) × 10^(-6)],and obvious depletions in HFSEs( e. g.,Nb,Ta,Ti and P),indicating geochemical characteristics similar to subduction-related magmatic rocks. | 9 | A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. | 14 | Generation and application of replication-competent Venus-expressing H5N1,H7N9,and H9N2 influenza A viruses显示文摘The generation and application of replication-competent influenza A virus(IAV) expressing a reporter gene represent a valuable tool to elucidate the mechanism of viral pathogenesis and establish new countermeasures to combat the threat of influenza. Here, replication-competent IAVs with a neuraminidase(NA) segment harboring a fluorescent reporter protein, Venus, were generated in the background of H5N1, H7N9, and H9N2 influenza viruses, the three subtypes of viruses with imminent pandemic potential. All three reporter viruses maintained virion morphology, replicated with similar or slightly reduced titers relative to their parental viruses, and stably expressed the fluorescent signal for at least two passages in embryonated chicken eggs. As a proof of concept, we demonstrated that these reporter viruses,used in combination with a high-content imaging system, can serve as a convenient and rapid tool for the screening of antivirals and host factors involved in the virus life cycle. | 15 | Multifunctional all-polymer photovoltaic blend with simultaneously improved efficiency(18.04%),stability and mechanical durability显示文摘One of the most appealing material systems for solar energy conversion is allpolymer blend.Presently,the three key merits(power conversion efficiency,operation stability and mechanical robustness)exhibited a trade-off in a particular all-polymer blend system,which greatly limit its commercial application.Diverting the classic ternary tactic of organic solar cells based on polymer,nonfullerene small molecule and fullerene,herein we demonstrate that the three merits of a benchmark all-polymer blend PM6:PY-IT can be simultaneously maximized via the introduction of a polymerized fullerene derivative PPCBMB.Importantly,the addition of the guest component promoted the power conversion efficiency of PM6:PY-IT blend from 16.59%to 18.04%.Meanwhile,the device stability and film ductility are also improved due to the addition of this polymerized fullerene material.Morphology and device physics analyses reveal that optimal ternary system contains well-maintained molecular packing and crystallinity,being beneficial to keeping favorable charge transport and the reduced domain size contributed to charge generation and ductility improvement.Furthermore,the ternary photovoltaic blend was successfully used as photocatalysts,and an excellent heavy metal removal from water was demonstrated.This study showcases the multi-functions of all-polymer blends via the use of polymerized fullerenes. | Tao Liu Kangkang Zhou Ruijie Ma Libin Zhang Ciyuan Huang Zhenghui Luo Hongxiang Zhu Shangfei Yao Chuluo Yang Bingsuo Zou Long Ye | 2023 | Aggregate2023，4，3： | 0 |
