2Application of zeolite adsorption and biological anaerobic digestion technology on hydrothermal liquefaction wastewater显示文摘The post-hydrothermal liquefaction wastewater(PHWW)was obtained from a conversion process of Spirulina sp.to bio-crude oil via hydrothermal liquefaction(HTL)technology that was rich in organic matter and toxicant.In this study,zeolite was applied to overcome the inhibitions and improve anaerobic digestion(AD)efficiency.Three zeolite adding ways were evaluated:PHWW pretreated with zeolite for 5 h with/without solid-liquid separation before AD process and zeolite added to PHWW AD process directly,in order to find the most ideal way to add zeolite.Results indicated that zeolite had a positive effect on the AD process of the PHWW.The gas potential of PHWW after adding zeolite,as well as the chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate,was much higher than those of its initial state.Especially when the PHWW was pretreated by zeolite for 5 h without separation,the biogas yield increased by 73.96%(6170μmol/g CODremoved)compared with the initial PHWW(3546.7μmol/g CODremoved).Li Ruirui Ran Xia Duan Na Yuanhui Zhang Liu Zhidan Lu Haifeng 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,1:3
3Copy number alteration profiling facilitates differential diagnosis between ossifying fibroma and fibrous dysplasia of the jaws显示文摘Ossifying fibroma(OF)and fibrous dysplasia(FD)are two fibro-osseous lesions with overlapping clinicopathological features,making diagnosis challenging.In this study,we applied a whole-genome shallow sequencing approach to facilitate differential diagnosis via precise profiling of copy number alterations(CNAs)using minute amounts of DNA extracted from morphologically correlated microdissected tissue samples.Freshly frozen tissue specimens from OF(n=29)and FD(n=28)patients were obtained for analysis.Lesion fibrous tissues and surrounding normal tissues were obtained by laser capture microdissection(LCM),with~30–50 cells(5000–10000µm2)per sample.We found that the rate of recurrent CNAs in OF cases was much higher(44.8%,13 of 29)than that in FD cases(3.6%,1 of 28).Sixty-nine percent(9 of 13)of the CNA-containing OF cases involved segmental amplifications and deletions on Chrs 7 and 12.We also identified eight CNA-associated genes(HILPDA,CALD1,C1GALT1,MICALL2,PHF14,AIMP2,MDM2,and CDK4)with amplified expression,which was consistent with the copy number changes.We further confirmed a jaw lesion with a previous uncertain diagnosis due to its ambiguous morphological features and the absence of GNAS mutation as OF based on the typical Chr 12 amplification pattern in its CNA profile.Moreover,analysis of a set of longitudinal samples collected from an individual with a cellular lesion in suspicion of OF at the first surgery,recurrence and the latest malignant transformation revealed identical CNA patterns at the three time points,suggesting that copy number profiling can be used as an important tool to identify borderline lesions or lesions with malignant potential.Overall,CNA profiling of fibro-osseous lesions can greatly improve differential diagnosis between OF and FD and help predict disease progression.Ming Ma Lu Liu Ruirui Shi Jianyun Zhang Xiaotian Li Xuefen Li Jiaying Bai Jianbin Wang Yanyi Huang Tiejun Li 2021International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,2:3
4Optical and SAR image registration based on improved nonsubsampled wavelet transform for sea islands显示文摘Homologous feature point extraction is a key problem in the optical and synthetic aperture radar(SAR) image registration for islands. A new feature point extraction method using a threshold shrink operator and non-subsampled wavelet transform(TSO-NSWT) for optical and SAR image registration was proposed. Moreover, the matching for this proposed feature was different from the traditional feature matching strategies and was performed using a similarity measure computed from neighborhood circles in low-frequency bands. Then, a number of reliably matched couples with even distributions were obtained, which assured the accuracy of the registration. Application of the proposed algorithm to SPOT-5(multi-spectral) and YG-1(SAR) images showed that a large number of accurately matched couples could be identified. Additionally, both of the root mean square error(RMSE) patterns of the registration parameters computed based on the TSO-NSWT algorithm and traditional NSWT algorithm were analyzed and compared, which further demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 5Effects of Nano-TiO2 on Chlamydomonas reinhardtii Cell Surface under UV,Natural Light Conditions显示文摘Cell surface of aquatic organisms constitutes a primary site for the interaction and a barrier for the nano-TiO_2 biological effects.In the present study,the biological effects of nano-TiO_2 on a unicellular green algae Chlamydomonas reinhardtii were studied by observing the changes of the cell surface morphology and functional groups under UV or natural light.By SEM,the cell surface morphology of C.reinhardtii was changed under UV light,nano-TiO_2 with UV light or natural light,which indicated that photocatalysis damaged cell surface.It was also observed that cell surface was surrounded by TiO_2 nanoparticles.The ATR-FTIR spectra showed that the peaks of functional groups such as C-N,-C=O,-C-O-C and P=O,which were the important components of cell wall and membrane,were all depressed by the photocatalysis of nano-TiO_2 under UV light or natural light.The photocatalysis of nano-TiO_2 promoted peroxidation of functional groups on the surface of C.reinhardtii cells,which led to the damages of cell wall and membrane.陈小娟 LU Ruirui 刘鹏 LI Xi 2017Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2017,32,1:1
6A novel clustered SPIO nanoplatform with enhanced magnetic resonance T2 relaxation rate for micro-tumor detection and photothermal synergistic therapy显示文摘Construction of micro tumor sensitive theranostic nanoagents that can increase the accuracy of imaging diagnosis and boost the therapeutic efficacy has been demonstrated for a promising approach for diagnosis and treatment of cancer.Herein,we reported a novel super-paramagnetic iron oxide(SPIO)based nanoplatform that possess significantly enhanced magnetic resonance property and photothermal effect for tumor theranostic purpose.This polyethylene glycol with four phenylboronic acid(PEG-B4)/CNTs@porphyrin(ph)/SPIO(BCPS)nanoplatform was simply prepared via integrated SPIO,ph,and a novel dendrimer with PEG liner and four PBA groups(PEG-B4)on the surface of carbon nanotubes(CNTs).Subsequently,a significant T2 relaxation rate enhanced can be achieved by the reduced accessibility of water to SPIO clustering.Moreover,the synergetic enhanced photothermal from BCPS nanoplatform contributed to better photothermal effect for cancer therapy.Furthermore,the targeting ability to sialic acid overexpressed tumor was further introduced from phenylboronic acid from PEG-B4.We showed that BCPS nanoplatform could not only selectively identify solid tumors and detect micro-sized metastatic tumor(1 mm)in the liver,but also effectively ablate tumors in a xenograft model,thereby achieving a complete cure rate of 100%at low laser dose.Our results highlight the potential of BCPS nanoplatform for accurate micro-tumor diagnosis and effective tumor therapy.Hongwei Lu Yongjing Xu Ruirui Qiao Ziwei Lu Pin Wang Xindan Zhang An Chen Liming Zou Zhongling Wang 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:1

103D magnetic field guided sunflower-like nanocatalytic active swarm targeting patients-derived organoids显示文摘Nanocatalytic medicine triggering in situ catalytic reactions has been considered as a promising strategy for tumor-selective therapeutics.However,the targeted distribution of nanocatalysts was still low,considering the absence of targeting propulsion capability.Here,encouraged by the fast-developing controllable microrobotics for targeting delivery,a sunflower-like nanocatalytic active swarm(SNCAS)controlled by a three-dimensional(3D)magnetic field was proposed for synergistic tumorselective and magnetic-actively tumor-targeting therapeutics.Furthermore,a patient-derived renal cancer cell 3D organoid was utilized for the verification of the effective tumor therapeutic outcomes.Under the targeted control of 3D magnetic field,the multiple cascade catalytic efficiency of SNCAS based on Fenton reaction was evaluated,resulting in efficient tumor cell apoptosis and death.For the patient-derived organoid treatment,the SNCAS presented significant lethality toward 3D organoid structure to induce cell apoptosis with the collapse of organoid morphology.The targeting efficiency was further enhanced under the magnetic-controllable of SNCAS.Overall,empowered by the magnetic control technology,the synergistic therapeutic strategy based on controllable swarm combined active targeting and tumor-specific catalytic nanomedicine has provided a novel way for advanced cancer therapy.Meanwhile,3D patient-derived organoids were proved as a powerful tool for the effectiveness verification of nanocatalytic medicine.Dong Liu Ruirui Guo Shuangshuang Mao Yanjie Huang Bin Wang Zijian Wu Xuanjie Xia Jian Dong Yu Xin Ruiyang Xie Jianzhong Shou Wei Sun Yuan Pang Yuan Lu 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
11Influence of Selective Laser Melting Process Parameters on Microstructure and Properties of a Typical Ni-Based Superalloy显示文摘The influence of selective laser melting(SLM)process parameters on the microstructure and mechanical properties of a typical Ni-based superalloy was researched.The optimum parameters of P=170 W,V=0.8 m/s were determined,under which the SLMed samples exhibited both the largest relative density of 99.57%and the best mechanical properties,including the microhardness(329.3±3.8 HV),yield strength(726±8.1 MPa),ultimate tensile strength(900±5.9 MPa)and elongation((31.9±0.24)%).The average grain size ranges of SLMed samples are from 15.2 to 17.4μm,with a typical mixed grain structure.Owing to the high cooling rate and remelting during SLM process,a large number of low-angle grain boundaries(LAGBs),dislocations and sub-grains were formed,and the fraction of LAGBs reached above 65%.At the same time,the content of low-Σcoincidence site lattice(CSL)boundaries was mostly less than 1%,while there was almost noγ′phase precipitated in the matrix.The texture of SLMed samples was weak,and there was no obvious preferred growth direction.Combining with the microstructure characterization,both grain refinement strengthening and dislocation strengthening were considered as the main strengthening mechanisms.Moreover,the fracture mechanism of the optimum sample belonged to ductile fracture.Zhen Lu Chengcai Zhang Nana Deng Haiping Zhou Ruirui Fang Kuidong Gao Yukuo Su Hongbin Zhang 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,10:0
12A multidimensional platform of patient-derived tumors identifies drug susceptibilities for clinical lenvatinib resistance显示文摘Lenvatinib,a second-generation multi-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved by the FDA for first-line treatment of advanced liver cancer,facing limitations due to drug resistance.Here,we applied a multidimensional,high-throughput screening platform comprising patient-derived resistant liver tumor cells(PDCs),organoids(PDOs),and xenografts(PDXs)to identify drug susceptibilities for conquering lenvatinib resistance in clinically relevant settings.Expansion and passaging of PDCs and PDOs from resistant patient liver tumors retained functional fidelity to lenvatinib treatment,expediting drug repurposing screens.Pharmacological screening identified romidepsin,YM155,apitolisib,NVP-TAE684 and dasatinib as potential antitumor agents in lenvatinib-resistant PDC and PDO models.Notably,romidepsin treatment enhanced antitumor response in syngeneic mouse models by triggering immunogenic tumor cell death and blocking the EGFR signaling pathway.A combination of romidepsin and immunotherapy achieved robust and synergistic antitumor effects against lenvatinib resistance in humanized immunocompetent PDX models.Collectively,our findings suggest that patient-derived liver cancer models effectively recapitulate lenvatinib resistance observed in clinical settings and expedite drug discovery for advanced liver cancer,providing a feasible multidimensional platform for personalized medicine.Lei Sun Arabella H.Wan Shijia Yan Ruonian Liu Jiarui Li Zhuolong Zhou Ruirui Wu Dongshi Chen Xianzhang Bu Jingxing Ou Kai Li Xiongbin Lu Guohui Wan Zunfu Ke 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,1:0
13One-pot synthesis of PVP-coated Ni_(0.6)Fe_(2.4)O_4 nanocrystals显示文摘Novel poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP)-coated nickel ferrite nanocrystals were prepared by simultaneously pyrolyzing nickel(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate (Ni(acac)2) and iron(Ⅲ) acetylacetonate (Fe(acac)3) in N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (NVP). The PVP coating was formed in situ through polymerization of NVP. The crystalline structure of the resultant nickel ferrite was analyzed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,electron diffraction patterns,and powder X-ray diffraction. In addition,the valence state of Ni and the metal contents of Ni and Fe in different valence states were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),atomic absorption and the phenanthroline method. The surface coating layer of PVP and its binding states were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy in combination with XPS. 18Correlation of PCSK1 with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in a Han Chinese population:a case-control observational study显示文摘Objective: This study aimed to investigate the association between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) ofPCSK1 (proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1) related to obesity and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).Methods: In this case-control observational study, four candidate SNPs (rs6234, rs155971, rs6232, rs3811951) ofPCSK1 were genotyped in 732 NAFLD patients and 823 healthy control participants, all of whom were of ethnic Han Chinese descent. All participants came from Shanghai, China, and joined our study during 2015 to 2016. The frequencies of each allele and genotype, paired linkage disequilibrium, and haplotype were calculated on the SHEsis platform. In addition to SHEsis, five different genetic models (codominant, dominant, recessive, overdominant, and log-additive) were employed to identify the correlation between genotype frequency and NAFLD. This study was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (approved No. 2017LCSY069).Results: In a comparison of NAFLD patients and healthy participants, none of the fourPCSK1 SNPs were significantly correlated with the occurrence of NAFLD (P>0.05), in either genotypic or allelic distribution.
