| 1 | Transgene inheritance and quality improvement by expressing novel HMW glutenin subunit (HMW-GS) genes in winter wheat显示文摘The expression vector pBPC30, which carries the high molecular weight glutenin subunit (HMW-GS) 1Dx5 and 1Dy10 genes, was transferred into hexaploid winter wheat cv. Jinghua No. 1, Jing411 and Jingdong No. 6 ex-plants of immature embryos and immature inflorescence by particle bombardment. A large number of resistant trans-genic plants were obtained under the selection of herbicide bialaphos or phosphinothricin (PPT). Confirmed transgenic plants of T0 generation showed successful integration of HMW-GS genes and bar gene into the wheat genome. T1 generation of transgenic plants can resist 20150 mg/L PPT. Protein analysis of T2 seed by SDS-PAGE showed that HMW-GS 1Dx5 and 1Dy10 genes were well expressed in offspring seed of transgenic lines by co-expression with or substitution of endogenous 1Dx2 or 1Dy10. In one transgenic line, TG3-74, a new protein band between endogenous pro-tein subunits 7 and 8 (marked as 8*) of glutenin appeared, but endogenous subunit 8 (encoded by 1By8 gene) was ab-sent. Analysis of gluten rheological quality on seed proteins of 102 T3 plants showed that the sedimentation value of 5 transgenic lines (44.249.0 mL) was remarkably improved, 59.6%64.3% higher than that of wild type Jinghua No. 1 and Jingdong No. 6, similar to bread wheat Cheyenne (48.0 mL). Analysis of dough rheological properties of transgenic lines showed that the dough stable time of 5 transgenic lines range from 16 to 30 min, whereas the dough stable time of wild type was only between 37 min. | 2 | A review of road extraction from remote sensing images显示文摘As a significant role for traffic management,city planning,road monitoring,GPS navigation and map updating,the technology of road extraction from a remote sensing(RS) image has been a hot research topic in recent years.In this paper,after analyzing different road features and road models,the road extraction methods were classified into the classification-based methods,knowledge-based methods,mathematical morphology,active contour model,and dynamic programming.Firstly,the road features,road model,existing difficulties and interference factors for road extraction were analyzed.Secondly,the principle of road extraction,the advantages and disadvantages of various methods and research achievements were briefly highlighted.Then,the comparisons of the different road extraction algorithms were performed,including road features,test samples and shortcomings.Finally,the research results in recent years were summarized emphatically.It is obvious that only using one kind of road features is hard to get an excellent extraction effect.Hence,in order to get good results,the road extraction should combine multiple methods according to the real applications.In the future,how to realize the complete road extraction from a RS image is still an essential but challenging and important research topic. | Weixing Wang Nan Yang Yi Zhang Fengping Wang Ting Cao Patrik Eklund | 2016 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2016,3,3: | 9 |
| 3 | Noise-like pulse generation from a thulium-doped fiber laser using nonlinear polarization rotation with different net anomalous dispersion显示文摘A mode-locked thulium-doped fiber laser(TDFL) based on nonlinear polarization rotation(NPR) with different net anomalous dispersion is demonstrated. When the cavity dispersion is-1.425 ps^2, the noise-like(NL) pulse with coherence spike width of 406 fs and pulse energy of 12.342 nJ is generated at a center wavelength of 2003.2 nm with 3 dB spectral bandwidth of 23.20 nm. | 5 | Scalable synthesis of Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C with high safety and ultrahigh-rate performance for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘NASICON-type Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) is a promising electrode material for developing advanced sodium-ion batteries.Preparing Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) with good performance by a cost-effective and large-scale method is significant for industrial applications.In this work,a porous Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode material with excellent electrochemical performance is successfully prepared by an agar-gel combined with freeze-drying method.The Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode displayed specific capacities of 113.4 mAh·g^(-1),107.0 mAh·g^(-1) and 87.1 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 C,1 C and 10 C,respectively.For the first time,the 500-mAh soft-packed symmetrical sodium-ion batteries based on Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C electrodes are successfully fabricated.The 500-mAh symmetrical batteries exhibit outstanding low temperature performance with a capacity retention of 83%at 0℃ owing to the rapid sodium ion migration ability and structural stability of Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C.Moreover,the thermal runaway features are revealed by accelerating rate calorimetry(ARC)test for the first time.Thermal stability and safety of the symmetrical batteries are demonstrated to be better than lithium-ion batteries and some reported sodium-ion batteries.Our work makes it clear that the soft-packed symmetrical sodium ion batteries based on Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C have a prospect of practical application in high safety requirement fields. | Guijia Cui Hong Wang Fengping Yu Haiying Che Xiaozhen Liao Linsen Li Weimin Yang Zifeng Ma | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,6: | 2 |

| 8 | Immune-adjuvant loaded Bi2Se3 nanocage for photothermal-improved PD-L1 checkpoint blockade immune-tumor metastasis therapy显示文摘Checkpoint blockade based immune therapy has shown to be effective but benefit only the minority of patients whose tumors have been pre-infiltrated by T cells. To overcome this obstacles, a PEG-modified Bi2Se3 nanocage (NC) loaded with imiquimod (R848), which could efficiently destroy the tumors thus producing enough tumor-associated antigens (TAA) and with the existence of R848, a toll-like-receptor-7 agonist, could generate strong anti-cancer immune responses is reported in this study. Moreover, immunogenic Bi2Se3 NC-PEG/R848 mediated photothermal therapy (PTT) sensitizes tumors to checkpoint inhibition mediated by a PD-L1 antibody, not only ablating cancer cells upon NIR laser but also causing strong anti-cancer immunity to suppress distant tumor growth post PTT. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrate that the Bi2Se3 NC-PEG/R848 could effectively activate a PTT-induced immune response as well as silence immune resistance based on PD-L1 checkpoint blockade to ablate the primary tumor and further inhibit the tumor metastasis. Bi2Se3 NC reported here exhibits high photothermal conversion efficiency and stability, as well as competent drug loading capacity with large hollow structures and high surface area. | 14 | Association between SLC17A7 gene polymorphisms and venlafaxine for major depressive disorder in a Chinese Han population:a prospective pharmacogenetic case-control study显示文摘Objective: Venlafaxine is a common antidepressant and its therapeutic effect varies among people with different genetic backgrounds. The aim of this study was to investigate whether single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in theSLC17A7 gene are associated with the treatment outcome of venlafaxine in a Chinese Han population with major depressive disorder.Methods: This prospective pharmacogenetic case-control study that involved genotyping of four SNPs ofSLC17A7 was conducted on 175 major depressive disorder patients of Chinese Han origin, aged 18 to 65 years, participated in the study from April 2005 to September 2006. Comparisons of allele and genotype frequencies of all SNPs were performed between the responder/remission group and the nonresponder/nonremission group. This study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee of Sichuan University (approval No. 20151112-265).Results: The allele and genotype frequencies of the four candidate SNPs inSCL17A7 showed no significant difference between responders and nonresponders. Meanwhile, no significant difference was detected in the four investigatedSLC17A7 SNPs between patients who did and did not exhibit remission. | 15 | Identification of KCS gene family and functional analysis of FAE-like genes from Malania oleifera显示文摘KCS(3-ketoacyl-CoA synthase)is the key enzyme catalyzing the first step of very long chain fatty acid(VLCFA)biosynthesis.Studies showed that different KCSs possessed different substrate preference.Malania oleifera are abundance of VLCFAs in its mature seeds,especially the nervonic acid,which is essential for human health.In this study,we identified and characterized 18 KCS genes in M.oleifera genome.Phylogenetic analysis showed that these KCS genes were classified into four subfamilies,including two FAE-like,six KCS-like,eight FDH-like and two CER6.We concentrated on the functional role of two FAE-like genes,Maole003085.T1 and Maole004215.T1 which encoded predicted amino acid residues of 516 and 518 in protein,respectively.Multiple sequence alignment showed that their two proteins contained the known and conserved active sites among FAE-like subfamily.Upon heterologous expression in wild type yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)INVSc1,we found that Maole004215.T1 could produce four new fatty acids including C22:0/C22:1 and C24:0/C24:1,but Maole003085.T1 only produced C22:1.Besides,upon heterologous expression in mutant yeast BY4741-△elo3,we found the Maole003085.T1 could produce C24:0 and C26:0,while the Maole004215.T1 could catalyze the formation of fatty acids C24:0,C26:0 and C28:0.These results showed Maole003085.T1 and Maole004215.T1 had fatty acid elongation activity in yeast,and possessed different substrate preference in the production of different VLCFAs.Interestingly,we found Maole004215.T1 could produce nervonic acid in yeast,which provides molecular basis on the genetic improvement and genic engineering for producing nervonic acid resources by using biotechnological methods. | Huan Dai Yanyu Zhang Pei Jin Fengping Song Wei Xu Aizhong Liu Zuqing Meng Tianquan Yang | 2021 | Oil Crop Science2021,6,1: | 0 |

| 17 | Isolation and Identification of Pathogenic Bacteria Causing Bovine Subclinical Mastitis in Eastern Hebei Province显示文摘In this study, the milk samples of 1 021 cows in eight dairy farms in Eastern Hebei Province were collected and detected with LMT reagent and somatic cell count for subclinical mastitis. Pathogenic bacteria in subclinical mastitis positive milk samples were isolated and identified.The results showed that 60.63%(619/1 021) of the sampled cows were diagnosed with subclinical mastitis, and mixed infections accounted for 88.21%(546/619) of the cases. In addition, 82 strains of 14 species were isolated from the subclinical mastitis positive milk samples, including 36 strains of Staphylococcus(43.90%), 33 strains of Streptococcus(40.24%), 8 strains of Enterobacteriaceae(9.76%) and 5 strains of Corynebacterium(6.10%), respectively. | 19 | Modeling detector response function of alpha particles for neutron depth profiling显示文摘The energy spreading of recorded ions is influenced by straggling,geometrical acceptance angles and detector energy resolution effects in neutron depth profiling(NDP)and a symmetric Gaussian function model was customarily applied before.In addition,the spectra of mono-energetic alpha particles show a well known asymmetric shape as well when measured by silicon detectors.This article presents a physical model predicting the observed energy spectrum of a sample ion with target nuclides in prearranged depths.It is expressed as the convolution of a Gaussian function with a left-hand double-exponential function.Experiment showed that the predicted ions spectrum derived from the asymmetric model matches the observed energy spectrum.Therefore,the model can be applied to produce matrix for inversion of NDP spectrum. | DOU HaiFeng LI RunDong XU JiaYun YUAN Shu TANG FengPing YANG Xin | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,1: | 0 |
