| 2 | A land use regression for predicting NO_2 and PM_(10) concentrations in different seasons in Tianjin region,China显示文摘Land use regression (LUR) model was employed to predict the spatial concentration distribution of NO2 and PM10 in the Tianjin region based on the environmental air quality monitoring data. Four multiple linear regression (MLR) equations were established based on the most significant variables for NO2 in heating season (R2 = 0.74), and non-heating season (R2 = 0.61) in the whole study area; and PM10 in heating season (R2 = 0.72), and non-heating season (R2 = 0.49). Maps of spatial concentration distribution for NO2 and PM10 were obtained based on the MLR equations (resolution is 10 km). Intercepts of MLR equations were 0.050 (NO2, heating season), 0.035 (NO2, non-heating season), 0.068 (PM10, heating season), and 0.092 (PM10, non-heating season) in the whole study area. In the central area of Tianjin region, the intercepts were 0.042 (NO2, heating season), 0.043 (NO2, non-heating season), 0.087 (PM10, heating season), and 0.096 (PM10, non-heating season). These intercept values might imply an area’s background concentrations. Predicted result derived from LUR model in the central area was better than that in the whole study area. R2 values increased 0.09 (heating season) and 0.18 (non-heating season) for NO2, and 0.08 (heating season) and 0.04 (non-heating season) for PM10. | 4 | A land use regression model incorporating data on industrial point source pollution显示文摘Advancing the understanding of the spatial aspects of air pollution in the city regional environment is an area where improved methods can be of great benefit to exposure assessment and policy support. We created land use regression (LUR) models for SO2, NO2 and PM10 for Tianjin, China. Traffic volumes, road networks, land use data, population density, meteorological conditions, physical conditions and satellite-derived greenness, brightness and wetness were used for predicting SO2, NO2 and PM10 concentrations. We incorporated data on industrial point sources to improve LUR model performance. In order to consider the impact of different sources, we calculated the PSIndex, LSIndex and area of different land use types (agricultural land, industrial land, commercial land, residential land, green space and water area) within different buffer radii (1 to 20 km). This method makes up for the lack of consideration of source impact based on the LUR model. Remote sensing-derived variables were significantly correlated with gaseous pollutant concentrations such as SO2 and NO2. R2 values of the multiple linear regression equations for SO2, NO2 and PM10 were 0.78, 0.89 and 0.84, respectively, and the RMSE values were 0.32, 0.18 and 0.21, respectively. Model predictions at validation monitoring sites went well with predictions generally within 15% of measured values. Compared to the relationship between dependent variables and simple variables (such as traffic variables or meteorological condition variables), the relationship between dependent variables and integrated variables was more consistent with a linear relationship. | 5 | Tailoring interphase structure to enable high-rate, durable sodium-ion battery cathode显示文摘Na-based layered transition metal oxides with O_(3)-type structure have been considered to be promising cathodes for Na-ion batteries. However, the intrinsically limited Na-ion conductivity induced by the Otype Na-coordinate environment compromises their rate and cycle capability, hindering their practical application. Here, we report an interphase-structure tailoring strategy that improves the electrochemical properties of O_(3)-type layered cathodes achieved through surface coating and doping processes.Specifically, a Zr-doped interphase structure is designed in the model compound NaNi_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)O_(2) using the ionic conductor Na_(3)Zr_(2)Si_(2)PO_(12) as the surface coating material and Zr-dopant provider. We discover that the modified NaNi_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)O_(2)cathode shows a stable Na-storage structure as well as an enhanced rate/cycle capability. Combined with theoretical calculations, it is suggested that the superior electrochemical performances originate from the Zr-doped interphase structure, which has an enlarged Na layer spacing that forms favorable Na-ion diffusion channels. | 8 | Comparison of inorganic chemical compositions of atmospheric TSP,PM10 and PM2.5 in northern and southern Chinese coastal cities显示文摘To compare the inorganic chemical compositions of TSP(total suspended paniculate),PM_(10)(particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than 10 μm) and PM_(2.5)(particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 μm) in southern and northern cities in China,atmospheric particles were synchronously collected in Dalian(the northern city)and Xiamen(the southern city) in spring and autumn of 2004.The mass concentrations,twenty-three elements and nine soluble ions were assessed.The results show that in Dalian,the mass concentrations of Mg,Al,Ca,Mn and Fe in spring were 4.0-10.1,2.6-8.0,4.1-12,1.2-3.6 and 2.9-7.9 times higher,respectively,than those in Xiamen.The dust storm influence is more obvious in Dalian in spring.However,in Xiamen,heavy metals accounted for 13.9%-17.9%of TSP,while heavy metals contributed to 5.5%-9.3%of TSP in Dalian.These concentrations suggest that heavy metal pollution in Xiamen was more serious.In addition,the concentrations of Na^+,Cl^-,Ca^(2+) and Mg^(2+) were higher in Dalian due to the influence of marine aerosol,construction activities and soil dust.The NO^(3-)/SO_4^(2-) ratios in Dalian(0.25-0.49) were lower than those in Xiamen(0.51-0.62),indicating that the contributions of vehicle emission to particles in Xiamen were higher.Coefficient of divergence values was higher than 0.40,implying that the inorganic chemical composition profiles for the particles of Dalian and Xiamen were quite different from each other. | Yiding Ma Zongshuang Wang Yufei Tan Shu Xu Shaofei Kong Gang Wu Xuefang Wu Hong Li | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,5: | 2 |

| 10 | Facile synthesized Cu-SnO2 anode materials with three-dimensional metal cluster conducting architecture for high performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Metal oxide anode material is one of promising candidates for the next-generation LIBs, due to its high theoretical capacity and low cost. The poor conductivity and huge volume change during charge/discharge, however, restrict the commercialization of metal oxide anode material. In this work, we design a novel Cu-SnO_2 composite derived from Cu_6 Sn_5 alloy with three dimensional(3 D) metal cluster conducting architecture. The novel Cu structure penetrates in the composite particles inducing high conductivity and space-confined SnO_2,which restrict the pulverization of SnO_2 during lithiation/delithiation process. The optimized Cu-SnO_2 composite anode delivers an initial discharge capacity of 933.7 mA h/g and retains a capacity of 536.1 mA h/g after 200 cycles, at 25℃ and a rate of 100 mA/g. | 13 | The contribution of photoinduced charge-transfer enhancement to the SERS of uranyl(Ⅵ) in a uranyl-Ag_2O complex显示文摘Charge-transfer(CT) is an important enhancement mechanism in the field of surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) that typically increases the Raman intensity of molecules by as much as 10–100 times.Herein, a low-cost Ag_2O aggregates substrate was prepared via a facile chemical precipitation method,and the calculated CT-based enhancement factor of the uranyl ions adsorbed on it reached as high as 10~5, a metal-comparable value. The efficient photoinduced CT process from the valence band of Ag_2O to the LUMO of uranyl ions under appropriate excitation sources resulted in the repulsion of the axial oxygen atoms of the O=U=O bond, which enhanced its polarizability, creating a more intense Raman mode. To the best of our knowledge, this study firstly reports such a strong photoinduced CT enhancement of uranyl ions, with concentrations of 10^(-8) mol L^(-1) or lower being detected using this Ag_2O substrate. Most importantly, this research has shown that the photoinduced CT enhancement also contributes to the SERS of uranyl ions on pure Ag substrates which have often been ascribed to the electromagnetic enhancement in previous studies. | 20 | A cultivated area forecasting approach in artificial oases under climate change and human activities显示文摘The cultivated area in artificial oases is deeply influenced by global climate change and human activities.Thus,forecasting cultivated area in artificial oases under climate change and human activities is of great significance.In this study,an approach named GD-HM-PSWROAM,consisting of general circulation model downscaling(GD),hydrological model(HM),and planting structure and water resource optimal allocation model(PSWROAM),was developed and applied in the irrigation district of the Manas River Basin in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China to forecast the cultivated area tendency.Furthermore,the catchment export of the MIKE11 HD/NAM model was set to the Kensiwate hydrological station.The results show that the downscaling effects of temperature can be fairly satisfying,while those of precipitation may be not satisfying but acceptable.Simulation capacity of the MIKE11 HD/NAM model on the discharge in the Kensiwate hydrological station can meet the requirements of running the PSWROAM.The accuracy of the PSWROAM indicated that this model can perform well in predicting the change of cultivated area at the decadal scale.The cultivated area in the Manas River Basin under current human activities may be generally decreasing due to the climate change.But the adverse effects of climate change can be weakened or even eliminated through positive human activities.The cultivated area in the Manas River Basin may even be increasing under assumed human activities and future climate scenarios.The effects of human activities in the future can be generally predicted and quantified according to the cultivated area trends under current human activities and the situations in the study area.Overall,it is rational and acceptable to forecast the cultivated area tendency in artificial oases under future climate change and human activities through the GD-HM-PSWROAM approach. | ZHANG Shaobo CHEN Fulong CHEN Jie WANG Jing LI Shaofei LONG Aihua | 2019 | Journal of Arid Land2019,11,3: | 1 |
