| 1 | Genesis of the Bangbu Orogenic Gold Deposit, Tibet: Evidence from Fluid Inclusion, Stable Isotopes, and Ar-Ar Geochronology显示文摘The Bangbu gold deposit is a large orogenic gold deposit in Tibet formed during the AlpineHimalayan collision. Ore bodies(auriferous quartz veins) are controlled by the E-W-trending Qusong-Cuogu-Zhemulang brittle-ductile shear zone. Quartz veins at the deposit can be divided into three types: pre-metallogenic hook-like quartz veins, metallogenic auriferous quartz veins, and postmetallogenic N-S quartz veins. Four stages of mineralization in the auriferous quartz veins have been identified:(1) Stage S1 quartz+coarse-grained sulfides,(2) Stage S2 gold+fine-grained sulfides,(3) Stage S3 quartz+carbonates, and(4) Stage S4 quartz+ greigite. Fluid inclusions indicate the oreforming fluid was CO_2-N_2-CH_4 rich with homogenization temperatures of 170–261°C, salinities 4.34–7.45 wt% Na Cl equivalent. δ^(18)Ofluid(3.98‰–7.18‰) and low δDV-SMOW(-90‰ to-44‰) for auriferous quartz veins suggest ore-forming fluids were mainly metamorphic in origin, with some addition of organic matter. Quartz vein pyrite has δ^(34)SV-CDT values of 1.2‰–3.6‰(an average of 2.2‰), whereas pyrite from phyllite has δ^(34)SV-CDT 5.7‰–9.9‰(an average of 7.4‰). Quartz vein pyrites yield 206Pb/204 Pb ratios of 18.662–18.764, 207Pb/204 Pb 15.650–15.683, and ^(208)Pb/204 Pb 38.901–39.079. These isotopic data indicate Bangbu ore-forming materials were probably derived from the Langjiexue accretionary wedge. 40Ar/39 Ar ages for sericite from auriferous sulfide-quartz veins yield a plateau age of 49.52 ± 0.52 Ma, an isochron age of 50.3 ± 0.31 Ma, suggesting that auriferous veins were formed during the main collisional period of the Tibet-Himalayan orogen(~65–41 Ma). | PEI Yingru SUN Qingzhong ZHENG Yuanchuan YANG Zhusen LI Wei HUANG Kexian | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,2: | 12 |
| 2 | Characteristic Temperatures of Waxy Crude Oils显示文摘Gel point or pour point is widely used to evaluate the low temperature flowability of crude oil. However, it is not adequate to describe the gelling properties of waxy crude oils under flow conditions with gel point or pour point, since the rheological behavior of crude oils is dependent on shear history. Waxy crude oils tend to gel at a low temperature. Based on gelation theory, the characteristic temperature of waxy crude oil was determined by analyzing viscosity-temperature data. Two mathematical models were developed for calculating characteristic temperatures of virgin crude oils and pour point depressants (PPD) beneficiated crude oils, respectively. By using these two models, the characteristic temperatures of crude oils that have experienced shearing and thermal histories can be predicted. The model for predicting the characteristic temperature of virgin crude oils has an average relative deviation of 4.5%, and all predicted values have a deviation within 2 ℃. Tested by 42 sets of data, the prediction model for crude oil treated with PPD has a high accuracy, with an average relative deviation of 4.2%, and 95.2 percent of predicted values have a deviation within 2 ℃. | 3 | A risk-prediction score for colorectal lesions on 12,628 participants at high risk of colorectal cancer显示文摘Background The uptake of colonoscopy is low in individuals at risk of colorectal cancer(CRC).We constructed a riskprediction score(RPS)in a large community-based sample at high risk of CRC to enable more accurate risk stratification and to motivate and increase the uptake rate of colonoscopy.Methods A total of 12,628 participants classified as high-risk according to positivity of immunochemical fecal occult blood tests or High-Risk Factor Questionnaire underwent colonoscopy.Logistic regression was used to derive a RPS and analysed the associations of the RPS with colorectal lesions,giving odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results Of the participants,men(OR=1.73,95%CI=1.58–1.90),older age(≥65 years;1.41,1.31–1.53),higher body mass index(≥28 kg/m^(2);1.22,1.07–1.39),ever smoking(1.47,1.31–1.65),and weekly alcohol use(1.28,1.09–1.52)were associated with a higher risk of colorectal lesions.We assigned 1 point to each of the above five risk factors and derived a RPS ranging from 0 to 5,with a higher score indicating a higher risk.Compared with a RPS of 0,a RPS of 1,2,3,and 4–5 showed a higher risk of colorectal lesions,with the OR(95%CI)being 1.50(1.37–1.63),2.34(2.12–2.59),3.58(3.13–4.10),and 3.91(3.00–5.10),respectively.The area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve of RPS in predicting colorectal lesions was 0.62.Conclusions Participants with an increase in the RPS of≥1 point had a significantly higher risk of colorectal lesions,suggesting the urgency for measuring colonoscopy in this very high-risk group.High-risk strategies incorporating RPS may be employed to achieve a higher colonoscopy-uptake rate. | Lixin Liang Yingru Liang Ke Li Pengzhe Qin Guozhen Lin Yan Li Huan Xu Suixiang Wang Qinlong Jing Boheng Liang Lin Xu | 2022 | Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1: | 2 |

| 5 | Activation of the bitter taste sensor TRPM5 prevents high saltinduced cardiovascular dysfunction显示文摘High salt intake is a known risk factor of cardiovascular diseases. Our recent study demonstrated that long-term high salt intake impairs transient receptor potential channel M5(TRPM5)-mediated aversion to high salt concentrations, consequently promoting high salt intake and hypertension;however, it remains unknown whether TRPM5 activation ameliorates cardiovascular dysfunction. Herein we found that bitter melon extract(BME) and cucurbitacin E(CuE), a major compound in BME, lowered high salt-induced hypertension. Long-term BME intake significantly enhanced the aversion to high salt concentrations by upregulating TRPM5 expression and function, eventually decreasing excessive salt consumption in mice. Moreover, dietary BME ameliorated high salt-induced cardiovascular dysfunction and angiotensin II-induced hypertension in vivo. The mechanistic evidence demonstrated that dietary BME inhibited high salt-induced RhoA/Rho kinase pathway overactivation, leading to reduced phosphorylation levels of myosin light chain kinase and myosin phosphatase targeting subunit 1. Furthermore, CuE inhibited vasoconstriction by attenuating L-type Ca^(2+) channel-induced Ca^(2+) influx in vascular smooth muscle cells. | 10 | The contribution of photoinduced charge-transfer enhancement to the SERS of uranyl(Ⅵ) in a uranyl-Ag_2O complex显示文摘Charge-transfer(CT) is an important enhancement mechanism in the field of surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) that typically increases the Raman intensity of molecules by as much as 10–100 times.Herein, a low-cost Ag_2O aggregates substrate was prepared via a facile chemical precipitation method,and the calculated CT-based enhancement factor of the uranyl ions adsorbed on it reached as high as 10~5, a metal-comparable value. The efficient photoinduced CT process from the valence band of Ag_2O to the LUMO of uranyl ions under appropriate excitation sources resulted in the repulsion of the axial oxygen atoms of the O=U=O bond, which enhanced its polarizability, creating a more intense Raman mode. To the best of our knowledge, this study firstly reports such a strong photoinduced CT enhancement of uranyl ions, with concentrations of 10^(-8) mol L^(-1) or lower being detected using this Ag_2O substrate. Most importantly, this research has shown that the photoinduced CT enhancement also contributes to the SERS of uranyl ions on pure Ag substrates which have often been ascribed to the electromagnetic enhancement in previous studies. | 11 | Increase in root density induced by coronatine improves maize drought resistance in North China显示文摘Drought stress caused by insufficient irrigation or precipitation impairs agricultural production worldwide.In this study,a two-year field experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of coronatine(COR),a functional analog of jasmonic acid(JA),on maize drought resistance.The experiment included two water treatments(rainfed and irrigation),four COR concentrations(mock,0μmol L^(-1);A1,0.1μmol L^(-1);A2,1μmol L^(-1);A3,10μmol L^(-1))and two maize genotypes(Fumin 985(FM985),a drought-resistant cultivar and Xianyu 335(XY335),a drought-sensitive cultivar).Spraying 1μmol L^(-1)COR at seedling stage increased surface root density and size,including root dry matter by 12.6%,projected root area by 19.0%,average root density by 51.9%,and thus root bleeding sap by 28.2%under drought conditions.COR application also increased leaf area and SPAD values,a result attributed to improvement of the root system and increases in abscisic acid(ABA),JA,and salicylic acid(SA)contents.The improvement of leaves and roots laid the foundation for increasing plant height and dry matter accumulation.COR application reduced anthesis and silking interval,increasing kernel number per ear.COR treatment at 1μmol L^(-1)increased the yield of XY335 and FM985 by 7.9%and 11.0%,respectively.Correlation and path analysis showed that grain yields were correlated with root dry weight and projected root area,increasing maize drought resistance mainly via leaf area index and dry matter accumulation.Overall,COR increased maize drought resistance mainly by increasing root dry weight and root area,with 1μmol L-^(-1)COR as an optimal concentration. | Yuling Guo Guanmin Huang Qing Guo Chuanxi Peng Yingru Liu Mingcai Zhang Zhaohu Li Yuyi Zhou Liusheng Duan | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,1: | 1 |
