2Component analysis of Chinese medicine and advances in fuming-washing therapy for knee osteoarthritis via unsupervised data mining methods显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the component law of Chinese medicines in fuming-washing therapy for knee osteoarthritis(KOA), and develop new fuming-washing prescriptions for KOA through unsupervised data mining methods.METHODS: Chinese medicine recipes for fuming-washing therapy for KOA were collected and recorded in a database. The correlation coefficient among herbs, core combinations of herbs, andnew prescriptions were analyzed using modified mutual information, complex system entropy cluster, and unsupervised hierarchical clustering, respectively.RESULTS: Based on analysis of 345 Chinese medicine recipes for fuming-washing therapy, 68 herbs occurred frequently, 33 herb pairs occurred frequently, and 12 core combinations were found.Five new fuming-washing recipes for KOA were developed.CONCLUSION: Chinese medicines for fuming-washing therapy of KOA mainly consist of wind-dampness-dispelling and cold-dispersing herbs, blood-activating and stasis-resolving herbs,and wind-dampness-dispelling and heat-clearing herbs. The treatment of fuming-washing therapy for KOA also includes dispelling wind-dampness and dispersing cold, activating blood and resolving stasis, and dispelling wind-dampness and clearing heat. 3Curative effect of warming kidney and fortifying spleen recipe on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the curative effect of a recipe for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D).METHODS:This multi-center,double-blind,randomized,and controlled trial included 240 patients that met the inclusion criterion and were then divided into two groups of 120.Patients in the treatment group(group A)took modified Sishen Wan orally for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen and patients in the control group(group B)took a placebo,Chao Maiya,for 4 weeks.28 days after withdrawal,there was a 6-month follow-up to observe patient recurrence condition.The total effective rate,curative effect,and recurrence rate were evaluated after treatment.RESULTS:There was statistical difference(P<0.01)between the two groups in total effective rate(92.24%in the treatment group and 49.07%in the control group),in curative effect of TCM syndrome(90.52%and 47.22%,respectively),and in the recurrence rate(15.79%and 56.86%,respectively)within6 months after treatment.CONCLUSION:Modified Sishen Wan,for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen,can effectively treat IBS-D and better control its recurrence.Xiaolan Su Yanping Tang Jing Zhang Yuebin Dong Wei Wei Yibing Bai Yong Liu 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,5:22
4Orthogonal analysis of water model study on the optimization of flow control devices in a six-strand tundish显示文摘Improper flow control devices in a multi-strand tundish can cause some problems, for example, liquid steel cannot reach every nozzle at the same time and the liquid steel in nozzles far away from the entry zone has a lower temperature. The water model experiment of a six-strand tundish of Tianjin Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. was performed, a new 'U' type baffle was obtained, and its parameters were defined by perpendicular analysis. 5Preparation and characterization of (metal, nitrogen)-codoped TiO_2 by TiCl_4 sol-gel auto-igniting synthesis显示文摘The nitrogen-doped and (metal, nitrogen)-codoped TiO2 photocatalysts (metal = Ag, Ce, Fe, La) were synthe- sized by sol-gel auto-igniting synthesis (SAS) with the complex compound sol of TiCl4-NH4NO3-citri acid-metal nitrate- NH3?H2O as a precursor. The products were characterized by means of XRD, XPS, and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra, and their photocatalytic activity was investigated under visible light. It was found that all the synthesized powders showed good absorption for visible light, and that the radius and alterable valence states of doping metallic cations played important roles on their photocatalytic activity. 7Recent Progress in the Fabrication, Properties, and Devices of Heterostructures Based on 2D Materials显示文摘With a large number of researches being conducted on two?dimen?sional(2D) materials, their unique properties in optics, electrics, mechanics, and magnetics have attracted increasing attention. Accordingly, the idea of combining distinct functional 2D materials into heterostructures naturally emerged that pro?vides unprecedented platforms for exploring new physics that are not accessible in a single 2D material or 3D heterostructures. Along with the rapid development of controllable, scalable, and programmed synthesis techniques of high?quality 2D heterostructures, various heterostructure devices with extraordinary performance have been designed and fabricated, including tunneling transistors, photodetectors, and spintronic devices. 8Impacts of Climatic Factors on Runoff Coefficients in Source Regions of the Huanghe River显示文摘Runoff coefficients of the source regions of the Huanghe River in 1956–2000 were analyzed in this paper. In the 1990s runoff of Tangnaihai Hydrologic Station of the Huanghe River experienced a serious decrease, which had at- tracted considerable attention. Climate changes have important impact on the water resources availability. From the view of water cycling, runoff coefficients are important indexes of water resources in a particular catchment. Kalinin baseflow separation technique was improved based on the characteristics of precipitation and streamflow. After the separation of runoff coefficient (R/P), baseflow coefficient (Br/P) and direct runoff coefficient (Dr/P) were estimated. Statistic analyses were applied to assessing the impact of precipitation and temperature on runoff coefficients (including Dr/P, Br/P and R/P). The results show that in the source regions of the Huanghe River, mean annual baseflow coefficient was higher than mean annual direct runoff coefficient. Annual runoff coefficients were in direct proportion to annual pre- cipitation and in inverse proportion to annual mean temperature. The decrease of runoff coefficients in the 1990s was closely related to the decrease in precipitation and increase in temperature in the same period. Over different sub-basins of the source regions of the Huanghe River, runoff coefficients responded differently to precipitation and temperature. In the area above Jimai Hydrologic Station where annual mean temperature is –3.9oC, temperature is the main factor in- fluencing the runoff coefficients. Runoff coefficients were in inverse relation to temperature, and precipitation had nearly no impact on runoff coefficients. In subbasin between Jimai and Maqu Hydrologic Station Dr/P was mainly affected by precipitation while R/P and Br/P were both significantly influenced by precipitation and temperature. In the area be-tween Maqu and Tangnaihai hydrologic stations all the three runoff coefficients increased with the rising of annual precipitation, while direct runoff coefficient was inversely proportional to temperature. 9Spatial and temporal variations of macro-and mesozoo-plankton community in the Huanghai Sea (Yellow Sea) and East China Sea in summer and winter显示文摘The study was conducted during two cruises of June–August 2006 (summer),and January–February 2007 (winter) in the Huanghai (Yellow) Sea and East China Sea.Spatial and temporal variations of zooplankton abundance,biomass and community structure and its relation to currents and water masses over the continental shelf were examined.A total of 584 zooplankton species/taxa and 28 planktonic larvae were identified during the two surveys.Copepods were the most abundant component among these identified groups.Zooplankton abundance and biomass fluctuated widely and showed distinct heterogeneity in the shelf waters.Five zooplankton assemblages were identified with hierarchical cluster analysis during this study,and they were Huanghai Sea Assemblage,Changjiang Estuary Assemblage,Coastal Assemblage,East China Sea Mixed-water Assemblage and East China Sea Offshore Assemblage.Seasonal changes of zooplankton community composition and its geographical distribution were detected,and the locations of the faunistic areas overlap quite well with water masses and current systems.So we suggest that the zooplankton community structure and its changes were determined by the water masses in the Huanghai Sea and East China Sea.The results of this research can provide fundamental information for the long-term monitoring of zooplankton ecology in the shelf of Huanghai Sea and East China Sea.CHEN Hongju QI Yanping LIU Guangxing 2011Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,2:11
10Wheat straw pretreatment with KOH for enhancing biomethane production and fertilizer value in anaerobic digestion显示文摘Wheat straw biodegradability during anaerobic digestion was improved by treatment with potassium hydroxide(KOH)to decrease digestion time and enhance biomethane production and fertility value.KOH concentrations of1%(K1),3%(K2),6%(K3)and 9%(K4)were tested for wheat straw pretreatment at ambient temperature with a C:N ratio of 25:1.86% of total solids(TS),89% of volatile solids(VS)and 22% of lignocellulose,cellulose and hemicellulose(LCH)(22%)were decomposed effectively with the wheat straw pretreated by 6% KOH.Enhanced biogas production and cumulative biomethane yield of 258 ml·(g VS)^(-1)were obtained increased by 45% and 41%respectively,compared with untreated wheat straw.Pretreated wheat straw digestion also yielded a digestate with higher fertilizer values potassium(138%),calcium(22%)and magnesium(16%).These results show that TS,VS and LCH can be effectively removed from wheat straw pretreated with KOH,improving biodegradability biomethane production and fertilizer value.Muhammad Jaffar Yunzhi Pang Hairong Yuan Dexun Zou Yanping Liu Baoning Zhu Rashid Mustafa Korai Xiujin Li 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,3:11

12Rational design of nitrogen doped hierarchical porous carbon for optimized zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors are considered to be a promising candidate for large-scale energy storage devices owing to their high safety,long life,and low price.In this paper,a nitrogen doped hierarchical porous carbon is evaluated as the cathode for aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors.Benefiting from the synergistic merits of excellent structural features of N-HPC and tiny zinc dendrite of Zn anode in ZnSO4 electrolyte,the zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitor exhibits excellent energy storage performance including high capacity of 136.8 mAh·g^−1 at 0.1·Ag^−1,high energy density of 191 Wh·kg^−1,large power density of 3,633.4 W·kg^−1,and satisfactory cycling stability of up to 5,000 cycles with a capacity retention of 90.9%.This work presents a new prospect of developing high-performance aqueous rechargeable zinc ion energy storage devices.Penggao Liu Yang Gao Yangyang Tan Weifang Liu Yanping Huang Jun Yan Kaiyu Liu 2019Nano Research2019,12,11:10
13Meta-analysis of the efficacy in treatment of primary sjogren's syndrome: Traditional Chinese Medicine vs Western Medicine显示文摘OBJCTIVE: To compare the clinical efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) to Western Medicine in the treatment of primary Sj?gren's syndrome(p SS).METHODS: We collected randomized controlled trials of TCM vs Western Medicine for the treatment of p SS in Chinese and foreign databases. The study quality was evaluated as suggested in the Cochrane Handbook. The Meta-analysis was performed using Review Manager 5.0 statistical software.RESULTS: A total of 31 randomized controlled trials with 2137 cases were retrieved. The efficiencies of TCM and control treatments were 87.18% and65.63%, respectively. The results of heterogeneity tests showed that the data were homogeneous(P = 0.83), thus a fixed effects model was used for analysis. The results revealed an odds ratio of 3.74 with a 95% confidence interval of 2.99-4.69. The overall effectiveness value was 11.48(P < 0.000 01).These results suggest the efficacy of TCM therapy for p SS better than Western Medicine.CONCLUSION: Although our findings reveal that the TCM treatment of p SS had significant advantages over its counterpart, there were some flaws in the studies included. 14A 2-kb Mycovirus Converts a Pathogenic Fungus into a Beneficial Endophyte for Brassica Protection and Yield Enhancement显示文摘Mycoviruses are viruses that infect fungi,and hypovirulence-associated mycoviruses have the potential to control fungal diseases.However,it is unclear how mycovirus-mediated hypovirulent strains live and survive in the field,and no mycovirus has been applied for field crop protection.In this study,we found that a previously identified small DNA mycovirus(SsHADV-1)can convert its host,Sclerotinia sclerotiorum,from a typical necrotrophic pathogen to a beneficial endophytic fungus.SsHADV-1 downregulates the expression of key pathogenicity factor genes in S.sclerotiorum during infection.When growing in rapeseed,the SsHADV-1-infected strain DT-8 significantly regulates the expression of rapeseed genes involved in defense,hormone signaling,and circadian rhythm pathways.As a result,plant growth is promoted and disease resistance is enhanced.Field experiments showed that spraying DT-8 at the early flowering stage can reduce the disease severity of rapeseed stem rot by 67.6%and improve yield by 14.9%.Moreover,we discovered that SsHADV-1 could also infect other S.sclerotiorum strains on DT-8-inoculated plants and that DT-8 could be recovered from dead plants.These findings suggest that the mycoviruses may have the ability to shape the origin of endophytism.Our discoveries suggest that mycoviruses may influence the origin of endophytism and may also offer a novel strategy for disease control in which mycovirus-infected strains are used to improve crop health and release mycoviruses into the field.Hongxiang Zhang Jiatao Xie Yanping Fu Jiasen Cheng Zheng Qu Zhenzhen Zhao Shufen Cheng Tao Chen Bo Li Qianqian Wang Xinqiang Liu Binnian Tian David B.Collinge Daohong Jiang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,10:9
15Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure,which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis.Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems.Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety,depression,insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety,insomnia and overall psychological problems.In addition,attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic,receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work,and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems.Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems.The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback.Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,3:8

17Behaviors of fine bubbles in the shroud nozzle of ladle and tundish显示文摘Fine bubbles will create when the inert gas is introduced to the high rapid steel stream within the shroud nozzle between ladle and tundish. The collision and attachment among the bubbles and fine inclusions will promote the floatation efficiency of inclusions in the tundish.
