1Microwave absorbing properties and magnetic properties of different carbon nanotubes显示文摘The microwave absorbing properties and magnetic properties of as-grown Fe-filled carbon nanotubes (CNTs), annealed Fe-filled CNTs, and multi-walled CNTs were studied. Vibrating sample magnetometer results showed that the annealed Fe-filled CNTs have the weakest coercivity and strongest saturation magnetization among the three types CNTs, due to the presence of more ferromagnetic α-Fe nanowires. After annealing, the values increased to 291.0 Oe and 28.0 emu/g and the samples showed excellent microwave absorbing properties. 2SEM in situ laboratory investigations on damage growth in GFRP composite under three-point bending tests显示文摘Glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) composites are widely used in low-weight constructions.SEM (scanning electron microscopy) in situ experiments of damage growth in GFRP composite under three-point bending loads are carried out.By summarizing the experimental results of three groups of samples with different orientation angles of fibers,the dependence of mechanical parameters on the orientation angles of fibers are analyzed.The regression analysis show that the peak strengths,the elastic strengths and the elastic modulus of the composites decease with the orientation angles of fibers almost linearly.Moreover,the damage growth and meso-scale structure changes in GFRP composites during three-point bending loading are analyzed.ZHOU HongWei MISHNAEVSKY Jr L BRONDSTED p TAN JinBiao GUI LeLe 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,12:3
3Mechanical Behavior and Failure Mechanism of 2.5D(Shallow Bend-joint, Deep Straight-joint) and 3D Orthogonal UHWMPE Fiber/Epoxy Composites by Vacuum-assistant-resin-infused显示文摘Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) fiber/epoxy composites were fabricated by a vacuum assisted resin infused(VARI) processing technology. The curing condition of composites was at a cure temperature of 80 ℃ for 3h in a drying oven. The characteristics of 2.5D(shallow bend-joint and deep straight-joint) structure and 3D orthogonal structure were compared. The failure behavior, flexural strength, and microstructures of both composites were investigated. It was found that the flexural property was closely related to undulation angle θ.
