3The subducted slab of Yangtze Continental block beneath the Tethyan orogen in western Yunnan显示文摘The western Yunnan area is a natural laboratory with fully developed and best preserved Tethyan orogen in the world. Seismic tomography reveals a slab-like high velocity anomaly down to 250 km beneath the western Yunnan Tethyan orogen, to its west there is a low-velocity column about 300 km wide. in the region from Lancangjiang to Mojiang an obvious low velocity in the lower crust and uppermost mantle overlies on the slab. Synthesizing the available geological and geochemical results, the present paper demonstrates that this slab-like high velocity anomaly is a part of the subducted plate of Yangtze Continental segment after the closure of Paleotethys. 7mm Wave communications for 5G: implementation challenges and advances显示文摘The requirement of the fifth generation(5 G) wireless communication for high throughput motivates the wireless industry to use the mm Wave(millimeter wave) communications for its wide bandwidth advantage. To compensate the heavy path loss and increase the communications capacity, phased array beamforming and massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) techniques are employed at both the user equipment(UE) and base stations(BS). Considering the commercial requirements, 5 G mm Wave large array systems should be implemented in an energy-and cost-efficient way with a small form factor. To address above issues and realize a reliable communications link, taking into account the particular characteristics of5 G mm Wave systems, this paper firstly examines the design challenges and trade-offs in system implementations, then some of the design strategies are summarized. 9Effect of Environmental Gradients on the Quantity and Quality of Fallen Logs in Tsuga longibracteata Forest in Tianbaoyan National Nature Reserve, Fujian Province,China显示文摘We investigated the quantity and quality of fallen logs in different Tsuga longibracteata forest communities in the Tianbaoyan National Nature Reserve. We used redundancy analysis to determine the spatial distribution of fallen logs in the different forest communities and to analyze the relationships among stand structure, topographic factors and human disturbance. The volume, covered area, mean log length and number of fallen logs differed significantly among forest types(P < 0.05), but mean diameter at breast height showed no significant difference(P > 0.05). The log volume and covered area in different forest types showed the following trend: T. longibracteata pure forest < T.longibracteata + Oligostachyum scabriflorur < T.longibracteata + hardwood < Rhododendron simiarum + T. longibracteata < T. longibracteata +Phyllostachys heterocycla pubescens. The spatial distribution patterns of logs quantity and quality indicated that log volume and covered area were strongly affected by environmental factors in the following order: human disturbance > elevation >slope position > bole height > tree height > slope aspect > density > basal area > slope gradient. The relative contribution of environmental variables on the total variance was topography(76%) >disturbance(42%) > stand structure(35%).Topography and disturbance combined explained83% of the variance. Fallen logs quantity and qualitywere negatively related to elevation and slope position,and positively associated to human disturbance. The log volume decreased from northern to southern slopes. 10Relationship between β-amyloid protein 1-42, thyroid hormone levels and the risk of cognitive impairment after ischemic stroke显示文摘BACKGROUND Post-stroke cognitive impairment(PSCI)is not only a common consequence of stroke but also an important factor for adverse prognosis of patients.Biochemical indicators such as blood lipids and blood pressure are affected by many factors,and the ability of evaluating the progress of patients with PSCI is insufficient.Therefore,it is necessary to find sensitive markers for predicting the progress of patients and avoiding PSCI.Recent studies have shown thatβ-amyloid protein 1-42(Aβ1-42)and thyroid hormone levels are closely related to PSCI,which may be the influencing factors of PSCI,but there are few related studies.AIM To investigate the relationship between serum levels of Aβand thyroid hormones in acute stage and PSCI and its predicted value.METHODS A total of 195 patients with acute cerebral infarction confirmed from June 2016 to January 2018 were enrolled in this study.Baseline data and serological indicators were recorded to assess cognitive function of patients.All patients were followed up for 1 year.Their cognitive functions were evaluated within 1 wk,3 mo,6 mo and 1 yr after stroke.At the end of follow-up,the patients were divided into PSCI and non-PSCI according to Montreal cognitive assessment score,and the relationship between biochemical indexes and the progression of PSCI was explored.RESULTS Compared with patients with non-PSCI,the levels of Aβ1-42,triiodothyronine(T3)and free thyroxin were lower in the patients with PSCI.Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the overall content of Aβ1-42 and T3 in PSCI was also lower than that of the non-PSCI patients.Further analysis revealed that Aβ1-42(r=0.348),T3(r=0.273)and free thyroxin(r=0.214)were positively correlated with disease progression(P<0.05),suggesting that these indicators have the potential to predict disease progression and outcome.Cox regression analysis showed that Aβ1-42 and T3 were important factors of PSCI.Then stratified analysis showed that the lower the Aβ1-42 and T3,the higher risk of PSCI in patients who were aged over 70,female and illiterate.CONCLUSION Aβ1-42 and T3 have the ability to predict the progression of PSCI,which is expected to be applied clinically to reduce the incidence of PSCI and improve the quality of life of patients.Lei Mao Xiao-Han Chen Jian-Hua Zhuang Peng Li Yi-Xin Xu Yu-Chen Zhao Yue-Jin Ma Bin He You Yin 2020World Journal of Clinical Cases2020,8,1:13

13Measuring Conflict Functions in Generalized Power Space显示文摘One of the most important open issues is that the classical conflict coefficient in D-S evidence theory (DST) cannot correctly determine the conflict degree between two pieces of evidence. This drawback greatly limits the use of DST in real application systems. Early researches mainly focused on the improvement of Dempster’s rule of combination (DRC). However, the current research shows it is very important to define new conflict coefficients to determine the conflict degree between two or more pieces of evidence. The evidential sources of information are considered in this work and the definition of a conflict measure function (CMF) is proposed for selecting some useful CMFs in the next fusion work when sources are available at each instant. Firstly, the definition and theorems of CMF are put forward. Secondly, some typical CMFs are extended and then new CMFs are put forward. 15Optimal allocation of multi-sensor passive localization显示文摘To improve multi-sensor passive localization precision,the optimal allocation form of multi-sensor bearing-only localization is analyzed from the perspective of the geometric dilution of precision(GDOP) of the least squares(LS) algorithm.This paper indicates that whether the target lies inside the closed region formed by the sensors or not,the optimal allocation is when each adjacent cut angle between a sensor pair is identical,and all sensors are located on the border of the circle that has the target(which is also the origin of the coordinate system) as its center.When there is no restriction on the adjacent cut angle in the above allocation,the optimal estimate of the LS algorithm in the sense of minimum variance can be acquired.When the LS algorithm achieves the optimal estimate and the sensors present the optimal allocation,the respective consistencies are analyzed.Simulation results verify the analysis of the optimal allocation form above,which can be used in multi-sensor passive localization algorithms based on sensor management.WANG BenCai HE You WANG GuoHong XIU JianJuan 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,12:11
16Admission delay is associated with worse surgical outcomes for elderly hip fracture patients:A retrospective observational study显示文摘BACKGROUND:The influence of surgical delay on mortality and morbidity has been studied extensively among elderly hip fracture patients.However,most studies only focus on the timing of surgery when patients have already been hospitalized,without considering pre-admission waiting time.Therefore,the present study aims to explore the infl uence of admission delay on surgical outcomes.METHODS:In this retrospective study,we recorded admission timing and interval from admission to surgery for included patient.Other covariates were also collected to control confounding.The primary outcome was 1-year mortality.The secondary outcomes were 1-month mortality,3-month mortality,ICU admission and postoperative pneumonia.We mainly used multivariate logistic regression to determine the effect of admission timing on postoperative outcomes.An additional survival analysis was also performed to assess the impact of admission delay on survival status in the fi rst year after operation.RESULTS:The proportion of patients hospitalized on day 0,day 1,day 2 after injury was 25.4%,54.7%and 66.3%,respectively.And 12.6%patients visited hospital one week later after injury.Mean time from admission to surgery was 5.2 days(standard deviation 2.8 days).Hospitalization at one week after injury was a risk factor for 1-year mortality(OR 1.762,95%CI 1.026–3.379,P=0.041).CONCLUSION:Admission delay of more than one week is signifi cantly associated with higher 1-year mortality.As a supplement to the current guidelines which emphasizes early surgery after admission,we also advocate early admission once patients get injured.Wei He Yue-yang You Kai Sun Chen Xie Yue Ming Li-na Yu Feng-jiang Zhang Min Yan 2020World Journal of Emergency Medicine2020,11,1:11
17Two adaptive detectors for range-spread targets in non-Gaussian clutter显示文摘This paper addresses adaptive detection of range-spread target in spherically invariant random vector clutter. Based on the nonadaptive detectors of NSDD-GLRT and SDD-GLRT, two adaptive detectors named ANSDD-GLRT and ASDD-GLRT are devised by replacing the unknown normalized clutter covariance matrix with the sample covariance matrix based on the secondary data. The formulas of detection probability and false alarm probability are deduced. Moreover, the constant false alarm rate properties of both adaptive detectors are assessed and the inffuence of mismatched steering vector on detection probability is analyzed. The experimental results show that the adaptive detectors have an acceptable loss with respect to the nonadaptive counterparts. Furthermore, the ANSDD-GLRT converges much faster than the ASDD-GLRT, however, the latter rejects the misaligned signals more effectively. Both detectors perform well for the uniformly-distributedenergy target, but degenerate for the fluctuating targets. 18Dietary seaweed-derived polysaccharides improve growth performance of weaned pigs through maintaining intestinal barrier function and modulating gut microbial populations显示文摘Background:Seaweed-derived polysaccharides(SDP)represent an attractive source of prebiotic nutraceuticals for the food and animal husbandry industry.However,the mechanism by which SDP from Enteromorpha mediates pig growth are not fully understood.This study aimed to investigate how SDP supplementation influences the growth performance and intestinal health in weaned pigs.Results:In Exp.1,240 weaned pigs were randomly assigned to four dietary treatments and fed with a basal diet or a basal diet containing 200,400 or 800 mg/kg SDP,respectively,in a 21-day trial.Pigs on the 400 or 800 mg/kg SDP-supplemented group had greater ADG and lower F/G ratio than those on the control group(P<0.05).In Exp.2,20 male weaned pigs were randomly assigned to two treatments and fed with a basal diet(CON group)or a basal diet supplemented with 400 mg/kg SDP(the optimum does from Exp.1),in a 21-day trial.Pigs fed the SDP diet had greater ADG,the concentrations of serum IL-6 and TNF-αand the activities of glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase and catalase(P<0.05),and lower F/G,diarrhea rate,as well as serum D-lactate concentrations and diamine oxidase activity(P<0.05).Moreover,dietary SDP supplementation enhanced secretory immunoglobulin A content,villus height and villous height:crypt depth ratio in small intestine,as well as the lactase and maltase activities in jejunum mucosa(P<0.05).SDP supplementation elevated the mRNA levels of inflammatory responserelated genes(IL-6,TNF-α,TLR4,TLR6 and MyD88),and the mRNA and protein levels of ZO-1,claudin-1 and occludin in jejunum mucosa(P<0.05).Importantly,SDP not only increased the Lactobacillus population but also reduced the Escherichia coli population in cecum(P<0.05).Furthermore,SDP increased acetic acid and butyric acid concentrations in cecum(P<0.05).Conclusions:These results not only suggest a beneficial effect of SDP on growth performance and intestinal barrier functions,but also offer potential mechanisms behind SDP-facilitated intestinal health in weaned pigs.Tiande Zou Jin Yang Xiaobo Guo Qin He Zirui Wang Jinming You 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,3:10
19Study on the effect and mechanism of the dysfunction of CD4^+ T cells in the disease process of chronic cardiac failure显示文摘Objective: To study the effect and mechanism of the dysfunction of CD4+ T cells in the disease process of chronic cardiac failure (CHF).Methods:According to different group technologies, 100 CHF patients were divided into the following groups: ischemia group and non-ischemia group, heart function Ⅰ-Ⅱ group and heart function Ⅲ-Ⅳ group, event group and non-event group, and 50 healthy volunteers were included in the control group. Realtime PCR was used to detect transcription factors T-bet and GATA-3 of Th1 and Th2; flow cytometry was applied to determine the ratio of Th17 and Treg cells; ELISA was employed to test cytokines IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-17 and IL-10 of peripheral blood Th1, Th2, Th17 and Treg cells, respectively; ultrasonic cardiogram was used to exploit to LVEF and LVEDd; and electrochemilu minescene immunoassay was used to examine plasma BNP. The differences of all indexes of all groups were analyzed and the correlation between CD4 T cells and clinical indexes was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis. Results: As compared to the control group, the transcription factors T-bet and GATA-3 of Th1 and Th2, the ratio of cytokines Th17 and IFN-γ, cytokines IL-17, T-bet/GATA-3, IFN-γ/IL-4, Th17 cells/Treg cells, IL-17/IL-10 of the ischemia group and non-ischemia group, heart functionⅠ-Ⅱgroup and heart function Ⅲ-Ⅳ group, event group and non-event group were all increased significantly, while their transcription factor GATA-3 of Th2, cytokines IL4, Treg cells ratio, cytokines IL10 were decreased obviously. The differences showed statistical significance (P < 0.05). The increase or decrease of the partial CD4+ T cells of the ischemia group, heart function Ⅲ-Ⅳ group and event group was more distinctly. The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that IFN-γ and IL-17 were significantly positively correlated with LVEDd and BNP, IL-4 and IL-10 were also significantly positively correlated with LVEF, but correlated negatively with BNP, and IL-17 was negatively correlative with LVEF.
