1The antitumor effect of tanshinone IIA on antiproliferation and decreasing VEGF/VEGFR2 expression on the human non-small cell lung cancer A549 cell line显示文摘The effects of tanshinone IIA on the proliferation of the human non-small cell lung cancer cell line A549 and its possible mechanism on the VEGF/VEGFR signal pathway were investigated.The exploration of the interaction between tanshinone IIA and its target proteins provides a feasible platform for studying the anticancer mechanism of active components of herbs.The CCK-8 assay was used to evaluate the proliferative activity of A549 cells treated with tanshinone IIA(2.5 80 μmol/L) for 24,48 and 72 h,respectively.Flow cytometry was used for the detection of cell apoptosis and cell cycle perturbation.VEGF and VEGFR2 expression were studied by Western blotting.The binding mode of tanshinone IIA within thecrystal structure of the VEGFR2 protein was evaluated with molecular docking analysis by use of the CDOCKER algorithm in Discovery Studio 2.1.The CCK-8 results showed that tanshinone IIA can significantly inhibit A549 cell proliferation in a dose-and time-dependent manner.Flow cytometry results showed that the apoptosis rate of tested group was higher than the vehicle control,and tanshinone IIAtreated cells accumulated at the S phase,which was higher than the vehicle control.Furthermore,the expression of VEGF and VEGFR2 was decreased in Western blot.Finally,molecular docking analysis revealed that tanshinone IIA could be stably docked into the kinase domain of VEGFR2 protein with its unique modes to form H-bonds with Cys917 and π–π stacking interactions with Val848.In conclusion,tanshinone IIA may suppress A549 proliferation,induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at the S phase.This drug may suppress angiogenesis by targeting the protein kinase domains of VEGF/VEGFR2.Jun Xie Jiahui Liu Heng Liu Shihui Liang Meigui Lin Yueyu Gu Taoli Liu Dongmei Wang Hui Gee Sui-lin Mo 2015Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2015,5,6:26

3Inflammatory bowel disease imaging:current practice andfuture directions显示文摘The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the role of imaging in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD), including detection of extraluminal complications and extraintestinal manifestations of IBD, assessment of disease activity and treatment response, and discrimination of inflammatory from fibrotic strictures. IBD is a chronic idiopathic disease affecting the gastrointestinal tract that is comprised of two separate, but related intestinal disorders; Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The paper discusses, in detail the pros and cons of the different IBD imaging modalities that need to be considered in order to optimize the imaging and clinical evaluation of patients with IBD. Historically, IBD evaluation of the bowel has included imaging to assess the portions of the small bowel that are inaccessible to optical endoscopic visualization. This traditionally was performed using barium fluoroscopic techniques; however, cross-sectional imaging techniques(computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging) are being increasingly utilized for IBD evaluation because they can simultaneously assess mural and extramural IBD manifestations. Recent advances in imaging technology, that continue to improve the ability of imaging to noninvasively follow disease activity and treatment response, are also discussed. 5Grain size effect on wear resistance of WC-Co cemented carbides under different tribological conditions显示文摘The grain-size dependence of wear resistance of WC-Co cemented carbides(with mean WC grain sizes of 2.2μm,1.6μm,0.8μm and 0.4μm,respectively)was investigated under different tribological conditions.The results showed that the grain size had opposite effects on wear resistance of the cemented carbides in dry sliding wear and microabrasion tests.In the former condition,with decrease of WC grain size hence the increase of hardness,plastic deformation,fracture,fragmentation and oxidation were all mitigated,leading to a drastic decrease in the wear rate.In the latter condition,pull-out of WC grains after Co removal dominated the wear,so that the hardness of cemented carbide was not a core factor.As a result,the wear resistance of the cemented carbide generally showed a decreasing trend with decrease of the grain size,except for a slight increase in the ultrafine-grained cemented carbide.Single-pass scratching of the cemented carbides under various loads indicated the same failure mechanism as that in the sliding wear tests.Furthermore,the reasons for severe surface oxidation of the coarse-grained cemented carbides were disclosed.Haibin Wang Mark Gee Qingfan Qiu Hannah Zhang Xuemei Liu Hongbo Nie Xiaoyan Song Zuoren Nie 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11:6

8Polo-like kinase 1,a new therapeutic target in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM:To investigate the role of polo-like kinase 1 (PLK1) as a therapeutic target for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).METHODS:PLK1 gene expression was evaluated in HCC tissue and HCC cell lines.Gene knockdown with short-interfering RNA (siRNA) was used to study PLK1 gene and protein expression using real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting,and cell proliferation using 3-(4,5-dim ethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2(4-sulf ophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) and bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) assays.Apoptosis was evaluated using the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay,and caspase-inhibition assay.Huh-7 cells were transplanted into nude mice and co-cultured with PLK1 siRNA or control siRNA,and tumor progression was compared with controls.RESULTS:RT-PCR showed that PLK1 was overexpressed 12-fold in tumor samples compared with controls,and also was overexpressed in Huh-7 cells.siRNA against PLK1 showed a reduction in PLK1 gene and protein expression of up to 96% in Huh-7 cells,and a reduction in cell proliferation by 68% and 92% in MTS and BrdU cell proliferation assays,respectively.There was a 3-fold increase in apoptosis events,and TUNEL staining and caspase-3 assays suggested that this was caspase-independent.The pan-caspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK was unable to rescue the apoptotic cells.Immnofluorescence co-localized endonuclease-G to fragmented chromosomes,implicating it in apoptosis.Huh-7 cells transplanted subcutaneously into nude mice showed tumor regression in siPLK1-treated mice,but not in controls.CONCLUSION:Knockdown of PLK1 overexpression in HCC was shown to be a potential therapeutic target,leading to apoptosis through the endonuclease-G pathway.Wei Chuen Mok Shanthi Wasser Theresa Tan Seng Gee Lim 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,27:4

14Abdominal ultrasonography of the pediatric gastrointestinal tract显示文摘Ultrasound is an invaluable imaging modality in the evaluation of pediatric gastrointestinal pathology; it can provide real-time evaluation of the bowel without the need for sedation or intravenous contrast. Recent improvements in ultrasound technique can be utilized to improve detection of bowel pathology in children: Higher resolution probes, color Doppler, harmonic and panoramic imaging are excellent tools in this setting. Graded compression and cine clips provide dynamic information and oral and intravenous contrast agents aid in detection of bowel wall pathology. Ultrasound of the bowel in children is typically a targeted exam; common indications include evaluation for appendicitis, pyloric stenosis and intussusception. Bowel abnormalities that are detected prenatally can be evaluated after birth with ultrasound. Likewise, acquired conditions such as bowel hematoma, bowel infections and hernias can be detected with ultrasound. Rare bowel neoplasms, vascular disorders and foreign bodies may first be detected with sonography, as well. At some centers, comprehensive exams of the gastrointestinal tract are performed on children with inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease to evaluate for disease activity or to confirm the diagnosis. 15Atypical onset of bicalutamide-induced liver injury显示文摘Anti-androgen therapy is the leading treatment for advanced prostate cancer and is commonly used for neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment. Bicalutamide is a non-steroidal anti-androgen, used during the initiation of androgen deprivation therapy along with a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonist to reduce the symptoms of tumor-related flares in patients with advanced prostate cancer. As side effects, bicalutamide can cause fatigue, gynecomastia, and decreased libido through competitive androgen receptor blockade. Additionally, although not as common, drug-induced liver injury has also been reported. Herein, we report a case of hepatotoxicity secondary to bicalutamide use. Typically, bicalutamideinduced hepatotoxicity develops after a few days; however, in this case, hepatic injury occurred 5 mo after treatment initiation. 16Risk factors for metachronous gastric carcinoma development after endoscopic resection of gastric dysplasia: Retrospective, single-center study显示文摘AIM To determine the gastric adenocarcinoma(GAC)occurrence rate and related factors,we evaluated the follow-up results of patients confirmed to have gastric dysplasia after endoscopic resection(ER).METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the medical records,endoscopic examination records,endoscopic procedure records,and histological records of 667 cases from641 patients who were followed-up for at least 12mo,from among 1273 patients who were conformed to have gastric dysplasia after Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)or endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD)of gastric mucosal lesions between January 2007and August 2013 at the Chungnam National University Hospital.RESULTS The mean follow-up period was 33.8 mo,and the median follow-up period was 29 mo(range:12-87).During the follow-up period,the occurrence of metachronous GAC was 4.0%(27/667).The mean and median interval periods between the occurrence of metachronous GAC and endoscopic treatment of gastric dysplasia were 36.3 and 34 mo,respectively(range:16-71).The factors related to metachronous GAC occurrence after ER for gastric dysplasia were male sex(5.3%vs 1.0%),open-type atrophic gastritis(9.5%vs3.4%),intestinal metaplasia(6.8%vs 2.4%),and highgrade dysplasia(HGD;8.4%vs 3.2%).Among them,male sex[OR:5.05(1.18-21.68),P=0.029],intestinal metaplasia[OR:2.78(1.24-6.23),P=0.013],and HGD[OR:2.70(1.16-6.26),P=0.021]were independent related factors in multivariate analysis.Furthermore,24of 27 GAC cases(88.9%)occurred at sites other than the previous resection sites,and 3(11.1%)occurred at the same site as the previous resection site.CONCLUSION Male sex,intestinal metaplasia,and HGD were significantly related to the occurrence of metachronous GAC after ER of gastric dysplasia,and most GACs occurred at sites other than the previous resection sites.Hee Seok Moon Gee Young Yun Ju Seok Kim Hyuk Soo Eun Sun Hyung Kang Jae Kyu Sung Hyun Yong Jeong Kyu-Sang Song 2017World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,24:3

20中国露天生物质燃烧的温室气体排放及秸秆禁燃政策的协同减排效应显示文摘露天生物质燃烧是温室气体(CO_(2)、CH_(4)、N_(2)O)的重要排放源之一,这些排放可影响本地、区域和全球的大气化学和气候变化,并带来一系列生态环境问题,进而对人类及其他生物的生存环境产生影响.本研究采用卫星火点排放清单(FINN),对2010-2019年中国露天生物质燃烧温室气体排放进行研究,并分析秸秆禁燃政策对温室气体排放的影响,对后续秸秆禁燃政策的制定具有重要参考价值.结果表明,我国2010-2019年平均年温室气体排放量为1.53×10^(8) t(将CH_(4)和N_(2)O的温室效应换算为同等效应的CO_(2)当量单位),总体呈波动性下降趋势.温室气体排放量最大的植被类型是森林(7.43×10^(7) t)和农作物(3.19×10^(7) t),分别占总排放量的48.7%和20.9%.从月分布来看,露天生物质燃烧排放的温室气体集中在2-6月,3月是高峰值.从空间分布上看,排放主要集中在华南、西南和华东地区,占总排放量的72.9%.从2013年以来,秸秆禁燃政策的加强在一定程度上降低了露天农作物秸秆燃烧排放的温室气体和PM_(2.5).从变化量看,28个省份实现了秸秆燃烧排放的温室气体与PM_(2.5)同步下降.朱永慧 黄凌 李瑜敏 段炼 王杨君 Maggie Chel Gee Ooi Andy Chan 李莉 2022环境科学学报2022,42,10:3
