3Temporal echocardiography findings in patients with fulminant myocarditis: beyond ejection fraction decline显示文摘The features of myocardial strains from speckle-tracking echocardiography (STE) have not been well defined in fulminant myocarditis (FM) patients.In this study,changes in the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and global and layer-specific myocardial strains over time were monitored.We aimed to determine the echocardiographic patterns of FM and ascertain their significance in FM treatment.Twenty patients who were clinically diagnosed with FM and received mechanical life support were prospectively enrolled.Conventional echocardiographic measurements were obtained,and serial strain echocardiography was performed from admission to hospital discharge until LVEF recovery (> 50%).Global/regional peak systolic longitudinal strains (GLS/RLS) and layer-specific longitudinal strains were quantified,and their changes with time were monitored in 14 FM patients.All patients had severely impaired cardiac function.Steep improvement in LVEF and GLS were observed within 6 days.Layer-specific strain analysis showed that reduction at admission or recovery at discharge in the endocardium and epicardium strains were equal.In conclusion,FM patients who received mechanical circulatory supports exhibited steep improvement in ventricular function within 6 days.The patchy and diffused distribution pattern of reduced RLS and equally and severely impaired strain in the endocardium and epicardium are valuable features in the diagnosis of FM.Houjuan Zuo Rui Li Fei Ma Jiangang Jiang Kun Miao Haojie Li Eike Nagel Marijana Tadic Hong Wang Dao Wen Wang 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,3:10

5叶芽花芽需热量差异导致植物先花后叶(英文)显示文摘为探究植物先花后叶的影响因素,本研究以1963-1988年间北京地区杏和山桃展叶和始花物候资料及相应的日最高、最低温度数据为基础,利用偏最小二乘回归法确定杏和山桃叶芽及花芽的需冷期和需热期,进而利用动态模型和生长度小时模型分别估算叶芽和花芽的需冷和需热量。结果表明,依据长期物候观测资料,利用偏最小二乘回归法进行植物需冷和需热量的估算非常有效。先花后叶植物叶芽和花芽需冷量几乎相同,需热量的差异是导致植物先花后叶的主要原因。杏和山桃花芽的需热量分别为2 829.7±876.2和1 457.2±581.2生长度小时,而相应叶芽需热量却是花芽的两倍之多。基于物候观测的重要性及实用性,中国物种水平上的地面观测应得到进一步深入发展。郭梁 Eike LUEDELING 戴君虎 许建初 2014植物分类与资源学报2014,36,2:3
6Serous pancreatic neoplasia, data and review显示文摘AIM To describe the imaging features of serous neoplasms of the pancreas using ultrasound, endoscopic ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.METHODS This multicenter international collaboration enhances a literature review to date, reporting features of 287 histologically confirmed cases of serous pancreatic cystic neoplasms(SPN). RESULTS Female predominance is seen with most SPN presenting asymptomatically in the 5th through 7th decade. Mean lesion size was 38.7 mm, 98% were single, 44.2% cystic, 46% mixed cystic and solid, and 94% hypoechoic on B-mode ultrasound. 20Climate change effects fruiting of the prize matsutake mushroom in China显示文摘Climate change affects various facets of life but there is little data on its effects on wild mushroom fruiting.Yunnan Province in China is a rich source of wild mushrooms and has experienced a temperature rise over recent decades.This has resulted in warmer temperatures but the impacts of these changes on mushroom production lack documentation.We collected data on the fruiting of the highly prized matsutake mushroom(Tricholoma matsutake)in West Yunnan,China over an 11 year period from 2000 to 2010.Fruiting phenology and productivity were compared against the driving meteorological variables using Projection to Latent Structure regression.The mushrooms appeared later in the season during the observation period,which is most likely explained by rising temperatures and reduced rain during May and June.High temperature and abundant rain in August resulted in good productivity.The climate response of matsutake production results from a sequence of processes that are possibly linked with regulatory signals and resource availability.To advance the knowledge of this complex system,a holistic research approach integrating biology,ecology,genetics,physiology,and phytochemistry is needed.Our results contribute to a general model of fungal ecology,which can be used to predict the responses of fungi to global climate change.Xuefei Yang Eike Luedeling Guangli Chen Kevin D.Hyde Youji Yang Dequn Zhou Jianchu Xu Yongping Yang 2012Fungal Diversity2012,,5:1
