4Anti-inflammatory effects of fatty acids isolated from Chromolaena odorata显示文摘Objective:To identify inhibitors of nitric oxide production and NF-κB activity from Chromolaena odorata(C.odorata).Methods:The compounds isolated from the aerial parts of C.odorata by bioassay-guided fractionation were investigated for their inhibitory effects on the NO production and NF-κB activity in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells.Results:Six fatty acids (S)-coriolic acid(1),(S)-coriolic acid methyl ester(2),(5)-15,16-didehydrocoriolic acid(3),(S)- 15,16-didehydrocoriolic acid methyl ester(4),linoleamide(5) and linolenamide(6) were isolated. All compounds inhibited the NO production at concentrations consistent with those required for NF-κB inhibition.Compound 2 was the most active with the IC50 values of 5.22 and 5.73μM. The addition of a double bond in the fatty chain decreased the inhibitory effects while the methyl esterification increased the activities.Conclusions:The fatty acid components in C.odorata with NF-κB inhibitory activity could explain the anti-inflammation property of this plant in traditional medicine.This study could also contribute to the better use of C.odorata for human health care.Tran Thi Hong Hanh Dan Thi Thuy Hang Chau Van Minh Nguyen Tien Dat 2011Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2011,4,10:3
5Stock-Price Forecasting Based on XGBoost and LSTM显示文摘Using time-series data analysis for stock-price forecasting(SPF)is complex and challenging because many factors can influence stock prices(e.g.,inflation,seasonality,economic policy,societal behaviors).Such factors can be analyzed over time for SPF.Machine learning and deep learning have been shown to obtain better forecasts of stock prices than traditional approaches.This study,therefore,proposed a method to enhance the performance of an SPF system based on advanced machine learning and deep learning approaches.First,we applied extreme gradient boosting as a feature-selection technique to extract important features from high-dimensional time-series data and remove redundant features.Then,we fed selected features into a deep long short-term memory(LSTM)network to forecast stock prices.The deep LSTM network was used to reflect the temporal nature of the input time series and fully exploit future con-textual information.The complex structure enables this network to capture more stochasticity within the stock price.The method does not change when applied to stock data or Forex data.Experimental results based on a Forex dataset covering 2008–2018 showed that our approach outperformed the baseline autoregressive integrated moving average approach with regard to mean absolute error,mean squared error,and root-mean-square error.Pham Hoang Vuong Trinh Tan Dat Tieu Khoi Mai Pham Hoang Uyen Pham The Bao 2022Computer Systems Science & Engineering2022,40,1:2
