| 1 | Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children. | Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020，36，9： | 158 |

| 4 | Structure and sequence analysis of influenza A virus nucleoprotein显示文摘Influenza A virus nucleoprotein (NP) forms homo-oligomers and multiple copies of NP wrap around genomic RNA, along with a trimeric polymerase making up ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex. Sequence comparison of more than 2500 influenza A NP showed that this protein contains 30.1 % of polymorphic residues. NP is composed of a head and a body domain and a tail loop/ linker region. The head domain is more conserved than the body domain, as revealed from the structure-based sequence alignment. NP oligomerization is mediated by the insertion of the non-polymorphic and structurally conserved tail loop of one NP molecule to a groove of another NP. The different form of NP oligomers is due to the flexibility of the polymorphic linkers that join the tail loop to the rest of the protein. The RNA binding property of NP is known to involve the protruding element and the flexible basic loop between the head and body domains, both having high degree of primary sequence conservation. Methods:Participants were 15 college-aged males who had not suffered any orthopedic injury in the past year.Core strength measurements included eight isometric tests and a sit-up test.The four core endurance tests were the trunk flexor test,trunk extensor test,and bilateral side bridge tests.Flexibility tests included the sit-and-reach test and active range of the trunk and hip joint motions.Proprioception via passive reposition tests of the hips and a single limb balance test on an unsteady platform were used to evaluate core motor control.Functional measurements consisted of a squat test and a single leg hop test for time and distance.Measurements were performed during two data collection sessions with a week’s rest between the sessions.Intra-class correlation coefficients were calculated to establish reliability. Results:The overall intra-rater reliability for all core stability related measurements ranged from low(ICC = 0.35,left hip reposition) to very high(ICC = 0.98,sit-and-reach).As a group,the core endurance tests were observed to be the most reliable. | 16 | The Siberian Traps and the End-Permian mass extinction:a critical review显示文摘The association between the Siberian Traps,the largest continental flood basalt province,and the largest-known mass extinction event at the end of the Permian period,has been strengthened by re-cently-published high-precision 40Ar/39Ar dates from widespread localities across the Siberian prov-ince[1]. We argue that the impact of the volcanism was amplified by the prevailing late Permian envi-ronmental conditions―in particular,the hothouse climate,with sluggish oceanic circulation,that was leading to widespread oceanic anoxia. Volcanism released large masses of sulphate aerosols and carbon dioxide,the former triggering short-duration volcanic winters,the latter leading to long-term warming. Whilst the mass of CO2 released from individual eruptions was small compared with the total mass of carbon in the atmosphere-ocean system,the long ‘mean lifetime’ of atmospheric CO2,com-pared with the eruption flux and duration,meant that significant accumulation could occur over periods of 105 years. | 18 | 1 Gbps free-space deep-ultraviolet communications based on Ⅲ-nitride micro-LEDs emitting at 262 nm显示文摘The low modulation bandwidth of deep-ultraviolet(UV) light sources is considered as the main reason limiting the data transmission rate of deep-UV communications. Here, we present high-bandwidth Ⅲ-nitride microlight-emitting diodes(μLEDs) emitting in the UV-C region and their applications in deep-UV communication systems. The fabricated UV-C μLEDs with 566 μm2 emission area produce an optical power of 196 μW at the 3400 A∕cm2 current density. The measured 3 dB modulation bandwidth of these μLEDs initially increases linearly with the driving current density and then saturates as 438 MHz at a current density of 71 A∕cm2, which is limited by the cutoff frequency of the commercial avalanche photodiode used for the measurement. A deep-UV communication system is further demonstrated. | 20 | Buttress plate fixation of coronoid process fractures via a medial approach显示文摘Purpose:To assess the clinical and radiographic outcomes of coronoid process fractures surgically managed with buttress plate fixation via a medial approach.Methods:A retrospective review of all coronoid fractures surgically fixed in our institution using a buttress plate technique via a medial approach between June 2012 and April 2015 by the senior author was performed.These fractures were all sizeable fractures contributing to persistent elbow instability in terrible triad or varus posteromedial rotatory instability injury patterns.A prospective telephone questionnaire was conducted to assess patient outcomes using the disabilities of the arm,shoulder and hand(DASH)score and Mayo hlbow performance score(MEPS).Results:Twelve patients were included in the study,comprising 10 males and 2 females with an average age of 39 years(range,19-72 years).Mean follow-up was 16 months(range.4-18 months).The average time to radiographic union was 4 months(range.3-7 months).Range of motion measurements at final follow-up were obtained in 11 out of 12 patients,with one patient defaulting follow-up.All 11 patients displayed a functional elbow range of motion of at least 30°-130°.with an average arc of motion of 130°(range.110°-140°).mean elbow flexion of 134°(range.110°-140°)and mean flexion contracture of 3°(range.0°-20°).The mean DASH score was 16(range.2.5-43.8)and the mean MEPS was 75(range.65-100).Complications observed included one patient with a superfic ial wound infection which resolved with a course of oral antibiotics and one patient with radiographic evidence of heterotopic ossification which was conservatively managed.No residual elbow instability was observed and no reoperations were performed.Conclusion:Buttress plate fixation via a medial approach of coronoid process fractures that contribute to persistent elbow instability represents a reliable method of treatment that produces satisfactory and predictable outcomes. | Kelvin Kah Ho Lor Dong Hao Toon Andy Teck Huat Wee | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Traumatology2019，22，5： | 9 |
