| 1 | 饮水微量元素与老年人群认知能力关系研究显示文摘在中国山东与河南两省农村研究了饮水中微量元素与老年人群认知能力 (CognitiveFunction)之间的关系。采用中国国标方法分析了饮水中氟、钙、硒、铝、铁、锌、镉、铅、砷微量元素和pH值 ;用老年性痴呆症 (Dementia)调查表 ,进行了≥ 6 5岁老年暴露人群认知能力的测定。调整年龄、性别和文化水平后 ,对微量元素与老年认知能力之间的关系进行直线模型、二次方模型和联合作用模型的统计分析 ,评价饮水中每种微量元素浓度对老年认知能力的影响。结果表明 ,单因素分析时发现几种微量元素对老年认知能力有明显作用。然而 ,在调整其它元素水平后 ,其中一些元素的作用消失。饮水中钙浓度对老年认知能力呈现一作用曲线 ,即随着饮水钙水平升高而认知能力增加 ;到某一点高峰后 ,又随钙水平增加而认知能力降低。而锌与镉之间存在一种相互作用 ,即在低饮水镉水平时 ,锌浓度与认知能力呈正相关 ,但在高饮水镉水平时 。 | 梁超轲 吉荣娣 曹静祥 姜玉亭 余波 马凤 吴云鹏 应波 张妍 孙淑庄 Li Yiming Christine L Emsley Gao Sujuan Kathleen S Hall Hugh C Hendrie | 2003 | 卫生研究2003，32，5： | 12 |

| 5 | Predictors of double balloon endoscopy outcomes in the evaluation of gastrointestinal bleeding显示文摘AIM:To identify patients' characteristics associated with double balloon endoscopy(DBE)outcomes in investigation of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding(OGIB).METHODS:Retrospective study performed at an academic tertiary referral center.Evaluated endpoints were clinical factors associated with no diagnostic yield or non-therapeutic intervention of DBE performed for OGIB evaluation.RESULTS:We included fifty-five DBE between August 2010 and April 2012.The mean age of the sample was 67 with 32 males(58.2%).Twenty-four DBE had no diagnostic yield and 30 DBE did not require therapy.Non-diagnostic yield was associated with performing two or more DBE studies in one day [odds ratio(OR):13.72,P=0.008],absence of blood transfusions within a year of the DBE(OR:7.16,P=0.03)and absence of ulcers or arteriovenous malformations(AVMs)on prior esophagogastroduodenoscopy(EGD)or colonoscopy(OR:19.30,P=0.033).Non-therapeutic DBE was associated with performing two or more DBE per day(OR:18.579,P=0.007),gastrointestinal bleeding episode within a week of the DBE(OR:11.48,P=0.003),fewer blood transfusion requirements prior to DBE(OR:4.55,P=0.036)and absence of ulcers or AVMs on prior EGD or colonoscopy(OR:8.47,P=0.027).CONCLUSION:Predictors of DBE yield and therapeutic intervention on DBE include blood transfusion requirements,previous endoscopic findings and possibly endoscopist fatigue. | Hisham Hussan Nicholas R Crews Caroline M Geremakis Soubhi Bahna Jennifer L LaBundy Christine Hachem | 2014 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2014，6，6： | 3 |

| 11 | Blood classical monocytes phenotype is not altered in primary non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the M1 and M2 monocyte phenotype in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) compared to controls. Also, to examine the expression of Th1 and Th2 cytokines in plasma of NSCLC vs controls. METHODS: Freshly prepared peripheral blood mononuclear cells samples were obtained from patients with NSCLC(lung adenocarcinoma and squamous cell lung carcinoma) and from non-cancer controls. Flow cytometry was performed to investigate M1 and M2 phenotypes in peripheral monocytes(classical monocytes CD14+, CD45+ and CD16-) using conventional surface markers. Th1 and Th2 cytokine production was alsoanalysed in the plasma using cytometric bead array technique. RESULTS: There were no significant difference in expression of M1(HLA-DR) and/or M2 markers(CD163 and CD36) markers on classical monocytes in patients with NSCLC compared to non-cancer controls. Expression of CD11 b, CD11 c, CD71 and CD44 was also shown to be similar in patients with NSCLC compared to noncancer controls. Th1 and Th2 cytokines [interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-8, IL-10, IL-12(p70), tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, TNF-β, and interferon-γ] analysis revealed no significant difference between patients with NSCLC and non-cancer controls. CONCLUSION: This study shows no alteration in peripheral monocyte phenotype in circulating classical monocytes in patients with NSCLC compared to noncancer controls.
