| 2 | Soft and Hard Tissue Changes Following Treatment of Class Ⅱ Division 1 Malocclusion with Twin-Block and Myofunctional Appliance: A Pilot Study显示文摘Background Many cases of ClassⅡdeformities have been reported to be treated with prefabricated appliances.The aim of this study was to distinguish the clinical effect of traditional custom-made appliances and prefabricated appliances in the treatment of ClassⅡdivision 1 malocclusion.Therefore,soft and hard tissue changes following treatment of ClassⅡdivision 1 malocclusion using the twin-block(TB)appliance was compared to that using the Myofunctional Research Company(MRC)appliance(K1+K2)combined with oral myofunctional treatment(OMT)(MRC+OMT).Methods The study included 22 children(6 boys and 16 girls aged 9–11 years)with ClassⅡdivision 1 malocclusion along with mandibular retrognathism with a 5–12 mm overjet,basic normal maxillary status,and stage 2 or 3 cervical vertebral maturation(CVM).Participants were randomly assigned into two groups,the TB group and the MRC+OMT group for 12 months.Standardized lateral cephalograms were used to assess skeletal,dental,and soft tissue changes from pre-to post-treatment.Independent t-tests were used to compare the initial and final cephalometric status and tissue changes between the groups.Results The TB and MRC+OMT groups resulted in different degrees of lateral changes;however,improvements of skeletal and soft tissue indices were significantly greater in the TB group than in the MRC+OMT group.Conclusion TB was more effective than MRC+OMT in treating children aged 9–11 years with ClassⅡdivision 1 malocclusion.However,further research using custom-made appliances with OMT is recommended,and further investigations are needed to confirm these findings. | Ling XIE Ping WANG Jianhua WU | 2020 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2020,2,4: | 5 |

| 4 | VSD治疗足部痛风石破溃伴严重感染创面的体会显示文摘Objective Investigate the clinical effects of Vacuum Sealing Drainage(VSD)in the treatment of 11 cases of foot tophi rupture with severely infected wounds.Methods From January 2017 to January 2019,11 patients with foot tophi rupture and severe infection were enrolled in our department.There were 9 males and 2 females,aged from 27 to 68 years old.All patients were treated with VSD after debridement.The treatment time was 7d-42d,with an average of 17d.Results All patients were followed up for 6 months after VSD treatment.All the wounds healed well without complications.Conclusion VSD is used to treat foot tophus rupture with severe infection of wounds.It is easy to operate and satisfactory in clinical results. | 王鹏 朱礼昆 何永静 杨蔚琪 王继华 | 2019 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2019,1,2: | 3 |
| 5 | Role of angiogenesis and angiogenic factors in acute and chronic wound healing显示文摘Angiogenesis plays a crucial role in wound healing by forming new blood vessels from preexisting vessels by invading the wound clot and organizing into a microvascular network throughout the granulation tissue.This dynamic process is highly regulated by signals from both serum and the surrounding extracellular matrix environment.Vascular endothelial growth factor,angiopoietin,fibroblast growth factor and transforming growth factor-beta are among the potent angiogenic cytokines in wound angiogenesis.Specific endothelial cell ECM receptors are critical for morphogenetic changes in blood vessels during wound repair.In particular integrin(αvβ3)receptors for fibrin and fibronectin,appear to be required for wound angiogenesis:αvβ3 is focally expressed at the tips of angiogenic capillary sprouts invading the wound clot,and any functional inhibitors ofαvβ3 such as monoclonal antibodies,cyclic RGD peptide antagonists,and peptidomimetics rapidly inhibit granulation tissue formation.In spite of clear knowledge about influence of many angiogenic factors on wound healing,little progress has been made in defining the source of these factors,the regulatory events involved in wound angiogenesis and in the clinical use of angiogenic stimulants to promote repair. | Thittamaranahalli Muguregowda Honnegowda Pramod Kumar Echalasara Govindarama Padmanabha Udupa Sudesh Kumar Udaya Kumar Pragna Rao | 2015 | Plastic and Aesthetic Research2015,2,1: | 3 |

| 20 | Supermicrosurgical lymphoevenous anastomosis for the treatment of peripheral lymphedema:A systematic review of the literature显示文摘The effectiveness of supermicrosurgical lymphovenous anastomosis(LVA)for lymphedema treatment remains controversial.Currently,no evidence has been summarized.This study aimed to review the published literature on supermicrosurgical LVAs in the treatment of peripheral lymphedema and to analyze the surgical outcomes.Studies from databases(PubMed/MEDLINE,Cochrane Controlled Trial Data,and Embase)were collected to determine the effectiveness of supermicrosugrical LVAs for lymphedema.A systematic review was performed using individual patient data.Fifteen studies,including 578 patients(482 female,72 male,and 24 unknown)with a mean age of 51 years,satisfied the needs of the study requirements.Supermicrosurgical LVAs for peripheral lymphedema have demonstrated substantial improvements in both objective and subjective findings in many patients.Moreover,in the long-term follow-up,the effectiveness of this treatment modality maintained a high efficacy of LVA in lymphedema cases.However,most studies provided low-quality evidence,and the conclusion is still not finalized. | Shoubao Wang Jingting Chen Zhaohua Jiang Shengli Li | 2021 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2021,3,3: | 2 |
