| 5 | Risk assessment on the epidemics of human infection with a novel avian influenza A (H7N9) virus in Jiangsu Province, China显示文摘A novel avian influenza A (H7N9) virus was discovered in February 2013 in China and has resulted in more than 100 comfirmed human infections including 26 fatal cases as of May 2, 2013. The situation raises many urgent questions and global public health concerns. In this study, epidemiologic characteristics of infected human cases in Jiangsu province were analyzed and risk assessment was undertaken based on the information available. Briefly, it is highly unlikely that a pandemic of human infection with avian influenza A (H7N9) virus will happen in Jiangsu Province in the near future. | 7 | Stitching algorithm for ion beam figuring of optical mirrors显示文摘A novel stitching machining method for ion beam figuring of optical mirrors is presented in this paper. Problems that should be dealt with in the stitching process such as shaping principle,algorithm for dwell time calculation,parameter identification and compensation for positioning errors are discussed. | 9 | Effect of Mg on Microstructure and Growth Kinetics of Zn-22.3Al-1.1Si Coating显示文摘The effects of Mg on the microstructure and growth kinetics of the hot-dip Zn-22.3 Al-1.1 Si-x Mg(x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.6) coatings were investigated in detail. Scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction studies revealed the presence of η-Zn, α-Al, Zn/Al eutectoid,(Si), Al/Si eutectic, and Zn/Al/Mg_2 Zn11 ternary eutectic on the top surface of these Mg-containing coatings. Especially, a small amount of MgZn2 phase appears in top surface of Zn-22.3 Al-1.1 Si-0.6 Mg coating. Five phases are found in the alloy layers, i e, Fe_2 Al_5, FeAl_3, τ_(5C), τ_(5H), and τ_1. The addition of 0.2% Mg can delay the emergence of FeAl_3 phase. When the Mg content is more than 0.2%, the outer layers of coating change from τ_(5C) to τ_(5H) phase. The growth of the inhibition layer is diffusion controlled for various Mg content baths. | 10 | A Tracking Filter in Spherical Coordinates Enhanced by De-noising of Converted Doppler Measurements显示文摘Tracking problem in spherical coordinates with range rate (Doppler) measurements, which would have errors correlated to the range measurement errors, is investigated in this paper. The converted Doppler measurements, constructed by the product of the Doppler measurements and range measurements, are used to replace the original Doppler measurements. A de-noising method based on an unbiased Kalman filter (KF) is proposed to reduce the converted Doppler measurement errors before updating the target states for the constant velocity (CV) model. The states from the de-noising filter are then combined with the Cartesian states from the converted measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) to produce final state estimates. The nonlinearity of the de-noising filter states are handled by expanding them around the Cartesian states from the CMKF in a Taylor series up to the second order term. In the mean time, the correlation between the two filters caused by the common range measurements is handled by a minimum mean squared error (MMSE) estimation-based method. These result in a new tracking filter, CMDN-EKF2.
