1Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Nanocrystalline Tungsten Thin Films显示文摘Tungsten (W) thin films were prepared by magnetron sputtering onto Si (100) substrates. Their microstructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The hardness and modulus were evaluated by nanoindentation. It is found that a 30 nm Cr sticking layer induces structure changes of deposited W film from β-W to α-W structure. In addition, remarkable hardness enhancement both for the deposited and annealed W films, were compared with that of bulk coarse-grained W, although their nanoindentation modulus is very close to that of corresponding bulk W. 2EFFECTS OF CARBON CONTENT AND ROLLING PROCESSING ON RETAINED AUSTENITE FOR HOT-ROLLED TRIP STEELS显示文摘The effects of finishing rolling temperature and coiling temperature on retained austen-ire were studied for hot-rolled transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) steels withdifferent carbon content. The experimental results showed that an appropriate volumefraction of retained austenite from 6% to 11% could be obtained according to the dif-ferent carbon content less than 0.20% by controlled finishing rolling and coiling forthe hot-rolled TRIP steels. It can be concluded that carbon content has a significanteffect on the fraction of retained austenite and coiling processing plays stronger roleon retaining austenite than fishing rolling processing.Y. 3EFFECTS OF MICROSTRVCTURE ON FATIGUE CRACK GROWTH BEHMIOR IN Ni-BASE SUPERALLOY GH586显示文摘Threshold stress values, muging from ~8 to 16MPa·m1/2 can be obtained in a Ni-base alloy GH586 by varying the microstructure through heat treatments. The threshold and low crack growth rate behaviors at room temperature, with varying groin size and γ’-distribution, have been investigated. The results indicate that grain size is an important microstructurol parameter that affects fatigue crack growth threshold and propagation behaviors, as the values of △Kth increase with increasing grain size, but the γ’ -distribution also has important effect. Analyses show that the effects of groin size on threshold and low crack-growth rate behavior result from heterogeneous deformation and roughness-induced crack closure due to crystallographic slipping and cracking in coarse microstructure. The higher △Kth and lower fatigue crack growth rate with increasing amounts of fine γ’ phases are closely related to less damage accumulation level in deformation zone of crack-tip resulted from heterogeneous deformation due to dislocations’ shearing γ’ precipitates.S.S. 4LOW TEMPERATURE ALUMINUM FLOATING ELECTROLYSIS IN HEAVY ELECTROLYTE Na_3AlF_6-AlF_3-BaC1_2-NaCl BATH SYSTEM显示文摘Multiple regression equations of liquidus temperature, electrical conductivity and bath density of the Na3AlF6-AlF3-BaC12-NaCl system were obtained from experiments by using orthogonal regression method. The experiments were carried out in 100A cell with low melting point electrolyte, the influences of cathodic current density, electrolytic temperature, density differences of bath and liquid aluminum on current efficiency (CE) were studied; when the electrolyte cryolite ratio was 2.5, w(BaC12) and w(NaCl) were 48% and 10%, respectively, CE reached 90% and specific energy consumption was 10.97k Wb/kg/kg. Because of the fact that aluminum metal obtained floated on the surface of molten electrolyte, this electrolysis method was then defined as low temperature aluminum floating electrolysis. The results showed that the new low temperature aluminum electrolysis process in the Na3AlF6-AlF3-BaC12-NaCl bath system was practical and promising.H.M. Lu and K.M. 9THE STRESS-STRAIN-RESISTANCE RELATIONS IN Fe-Mn-Si ALLOYS显示文摘The stress-strain-resistance relations of the Fe-Mn-Si alloys with different Si content have been investigated by measuring strain (ε) and resistance (△ R/R) upon tension synchronously. The results show that the strum induced γ→ε martensitic transfor- mation increases the strain sensitivity coeffcient of resistance (K) for the Fe-Mn-Si alloys in plastic region. There is a critical strum where dσ/dε becomes a constant value. Si increases the critical strum. 13Coercivity Enhancement of Nd-Fe-B Thin Film Magnets through Dy Surface Diffusion Process显示文摘The Dy capping layer was deposited at different temperatures on the Nd-Fe-B thin films to investigate the mechanism of the coercivity enhancement through the Dy surface diffusion. The highest coercivity of 2005 kA/m (25.2 kOe) was obtained at the Dy deposition temperature of 460℃, which was significantly higher than the value of 1297 kA/m (16.3 kOe) without Dy capping layer. By performing the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis, it was found that some of the grain boundaries were enriched with Nd element, which could be partly ascribed to the promotion by the Dy surface diffusion. In comparison to the evolution of the spin reorientation temperature of Nd2Fe14B phase after the deposition of the Dy capping layer, it is concluded that structural modification plays a significant role in the coercivity enhancement due to the Dy surface diffusion.C.Y.
