2Diffraction-limited imaging with monolayer 2D material-based ultrathin flat lenses显示文摘Ultrathin flat optics allow control of light at the subwavelength scale that is unmatched by traditional refractive optics.To approach the atomically thin limit,the use of 2D materials is an attractive possibility due to their high refractive indices.However,achievement of diffraction-limited focusing and imaging is challenged by their thickness-limited spatial resolution and focusing efficiency.Here we report a universal method to transform 2D monolayers into ultrathin flat lenses.Femtosecond laser direct writing was applied to generate local scattering media inside a monolayer,which overcomes the longstanding challenge of obtaining sufficient phase or amplitude modulation in atomically thin 2D materials.We achieved highly efficient 3D focusing with subwavelength resolution and diffractionlimited imaging.The high focusing performance even allows diffraction-limited imaging at different focal positions with varying magnifications.Our work paves the way for downscaling of optical devices using 2D materials and reports an unprecedented approach for fabricating ultrathin imaging devices.Han Lin Zai-Quan Xu Guiyuan Cao Yupeng Zhang Jiadong Zhou Ziyu Wang Zhichen Wan Zheng Liu Kian Ping Loh Cheng-Wei Qiu Qiaoliang Bao Baohua Jia 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:9
3Recent Progress of Two-Dimensional Thermoelectric Materials显示文摘Thermoelectric generators have attracted a wide research interest owing to their ability to directly convert heat into electrical power.Moreover,the thermoelectric properties of traditional inorganic and organic materials have been significantly improved over the past few decades.Among these compounds,layered two-dimensional(2D)materials,such as graphene,black phosphorus,transition metal dichalcogenides,IVA–VIA compounds,and MXenes,have generated a large research attention as a group of potentially high-performance thermoelectric materials.Due to their unique electronic,mechanical,thermal,and optoelectronic properties,thermoelectric devices based on such materials can be applied in a variety of applications.Herein,a comprehensive review on the development of 2D materials for thermoelectric applications,as well as theoretical simulations and experimental preparation,is presented.In addition,nanodevice and new applications of 2D thermoelectric materials are also introduced.At last,current challenges are discussed and several prospects in this field are proposed.Delong Li Youning Gong Yuexing Chen Jiamei Lin Qasim Khan Yupeng Zhang Yu Li Han Zhang Heping Xie 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,3:5
4Lactobacillus reuteri-derived extracellular vesicles maintain intestinal immune homeostasis against lipopolysaccharideinduced inflammatory responses in broilers显示文摘Background:Lactobacillus reuteri strains are widely used as probiotics to prevent and treat inflammatory bowel disease by modulating the host’s immune system.However,the underlying mechanisms by which they communicate with the host have not been clearly understood.Bacterial extracellular vesicles(EVs)have been considered as important mediators of host-pathogen interactions,but their potential role in commensals-host crosstalk has not been widely studied.Here,we investigated the regulatory actions of EVs produced by L.reuteri BBC3,a gut-associated commensal bacterium of Black-Bone chicken,in the development of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced intestinal inflammation in a chicken model using both in vivo and in vitro experiments.Results:L.reuteri BBC3 produced nano-scale membrane vesicles with the size range of 60-250 nm.Biochemical and proteomic analyses showed that L.reuteri BBC3-derived EVs(LrEVs)carried DNA,RNA and several bioactive proteins previously described as mediators of other probiotics’beneficial effects such as glucosyltransferase,serine protease and elongation factor Tu.In vivo broiler experiments showed that administration of LrEVs exerted similar effects as L.reuteri BBC3 in attenuating LPS-induced inflammation by improving growth performance,reducing mortality and decreasing intestinal injury.LrEVs suppressed the LPS-induced expression of pro-inflammatory genes(TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,IL-17 and IL-8),and improved the expression of anti-inflammatory genes(IL-10 and TGF-β)in the jejunum.LrEVs could be internalized by chicken macrophages.In vitro pretreatment with LrEVs reduced the gene expression of TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-6 by suppressing the NF-κB activity,and enhanced the gene expression of IL-10 and TGF-βin LPS-activated chicken macrophages.Additionally,LrEVs could inhibit Th1-and Th17-mediated inflammatory responses and enhance the immunoregulatory cells-mediated immunosuppression in splenic lymphocytes of LPS-challenged chickens through the activation of macrophages.Finally,we revealed that the reduced content of both vesicular proteins and nucleic acids attenuated the suppression of LrEVs on LPS-induced inflammatory responses in ex vivo experiments,suggesting that they are essential for the LrEVs-mediated immunoregulation.Conclusions:We revealed that LrEVs participated in maintaining intestinal immune homeostasis against LPSinduced inflammatory responses in a chicken model.Our findings provide mechanistic insight into how commensal and probiotic Lactobacillus species modulate the host’s immune system in pathogens-induced inflammation.Rujiu Hu Hua Lin Mimi Wang Yuezhen Zhao Haojing Liu Yuna Min Xiaojun Yang Yupeng Gao Mingming Yang 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,3:5

8Monolayer MoS_(2)-based transistors with low contact resistance by inserting ultrathin Al_(2)O_(3)interfacial layer显示文摘Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)are promising high performance electronic materials due to their interesting semiconductor properties.However,it is acknowledged that the effective electrical contact between TMDCs-layered materials and metals remains one of the major challenges.In this work,the homogeneous monolayer MoS_(2)films with high crystalline quality were prepared by chemical vapor deposition method on SiO2/Si substrates.The back-gate field-effect transistors(FETs)were fabricated by inserting an ultrathin Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer between the metal electrodes and MoS_(2)nanosheets.With the addition of an ultrathin 0.8 nm Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer,the contact resistance decreased dramatically from 59.9 to 1.3 kΩμm and the Schottky barrier height(SBH)dropped from 102 to 27 meV compared with devices without the Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer.At the same time,the switching ratio increased from~106to~108,and both the on-current and field-effect mobility were greatly improved.We find that the ultrathin Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer can not only reduce the SBH to alleviate the Fermi level pinning phenomenon at the interface,but also protect the channel materials from the influence of air and moisture as a covering layer.In addition,the lattice and band structures of Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)film were calculated and analyzed by first-principles calculation.It is found that the total density of states of the Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)film exhibits interfacial polarized metals property,which proves the higher carrier transport characteristics.FETs with Al_(2)O_(3)interlayers have excellent stability and repeatability,which can provide effective references for future low power and high performance electronic devices.CHEN Gang LIN Xin LIU Yuan WANG Fang HU Kai SHAN Xin WU ZeYu ZHANG YuPeng NIE WeiCan ZHONG JiXiang REN TianLing ZHANG KaiLiang 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,6:2
9Excellent light-capture capability of trilobal SiNW for ultra-high JSC in single-nanowire solar cells显示文摘Single-.nanowire solar cells with a unique light-concentration property are expected to exceed the Shockley-Queisser limit.The architecture of single nanowire is an important factor to regulate its optical performance.We designed a trilobal silicon nanowire(SiNW)with two cquivalent scales that possesses superior light-absorption efficiency in the whole wavelength range and shows good tolerance for incident angle.The electric field distribution in this geometry is concentrated in the blade with small equivalent scale and pivot with large equivalent scale,respectively,in the short wavelength range and long wavelength range.Corresponding good light absorption of trilobal SiNW in the two wavelength ranges leads to stronger total light absorption capacity than that of cylindrical SiNW.Trilobal single nanowire solar cells can obtain a short-circuit current density(JSC)of 647 mA·cm^2,which provides a new choice for designing single nanowire with excellent light-capture capability.ZHONGLIANG GAO GUILU Lin YUPENG ZHENG NA SANG YINGFENG LI LEI CHEN MEICHENG LI 2020Photonics Research2020,8,6:2

11Increasingπ-electron availability in benzene ring incorporated graphitic carbon nitride for increased photocatalytic hydrogen generation显示文摘Increasing the availability ofπ-electron in graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))can reduce the band gap and thus enhance the photocatalytic hydrogen(H_(2))generation activity upon exposure to visible light,However,such strategy has not yet been largely applied to increase the H_(2)generation of g-C_(3)N_(4).Herein,we succes s fully increased the amount ofπ-electron in g-C_(3)N_(4)by incorporatingπ-electron-rich benzene rings through copolymerization of melamine and trimesic acid in air.The incorporation of benzene rings not only extends the light absorption of g-C_(3)N_(4)to 650 nm,but also improves the electrical conductivity due to delocalization ofπelectrons in benzene rings.As a result,a 3.4 times enhancement of photocatalytic H_(2)generation was achieved from the g-C_(3)N_(4)with benzene ring incorporation in comparing with that of pristine g-C_(3)N_(4).More interestingly,H_(2)generation still occurs under irradiation of the light ofλ≥490 nm,above the absorption edge of pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)(~460 nm),illustrating the positive effectiveness of incorporated benzene rings on enhancing the H_(2)generation capacity of g-C_(3)N_(4).The present work manifests the advantages of increasingπ-conjugated electrons on designing highly active g-C_(3)N_(4)photocatalysts.Xiangang Lin Xiaojuan Hou Lixia Cui Shiqiang Zhao Hong Bi Haiwei Du Yupeng Yuan 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,6:2

14Synthesis,structure and nonlinear optical properties of two novel two-photon absorption chromophores显示文摘Two triphenylamine-based derivatives that can be used as two-photon absorption chromophore,tris{4-[4-(3-trifluoromethyl-3-oxopanoyl)]phenyl}amine (1) and tris{4-[4-(3-phenyl-3-oxopanoyl)] phenyl} amine (2) were successfully synthesized and fully characterized by elemental analysis,IR,1H NMR and MS. The single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the molecules possess D-(π-A)3 structures. One-and two-photon absorption and fluorescence in various solvents were experimentally investigated. 16Synthesis, crystal structures and electrochemical properties of two new metal-centered ferrocene complexes显示文摘Two new metal-centered ferrocene complexes Ni(SCN)2(L)4 (1) and Cu(OAc)2(L)2 (2) (L = 1-[1-ferro- cenylmethyl]imidazole) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, spectroscopic and cyclic voltammetric measurements. The geometry of Ni(Ⅱ) in 1 is octahedral, with four ligands in the equatorial plan and two thiocyanate anions at the axial site, while that of Cu(Ⅱ) in 2 is a distorted octahedron formed by two chealted OAc- and two ligands. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies reveal that there is partial electron delocalization from ferrocene to imidazole in the two complexes. 17Physics and astrophysics of strong magnetic field systems with eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the science potential of the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for studies of strongly magnetized objects. We will focus on the physics and astrophysics of strongly magnetized objects, namely magnetars, accreting X-ray pulsars, and rotation powered pulsars. We also discuss the science potential of eXTP for QED studies. 18Solitary Langerhans cell histiocytosis of frontal lobe: a case report and literature review显示文摘The brain parenchymal Langerhans cell histiocytosis(LCH) without systemic disease or lytic skull lesions is extremely rare. We report a 23-year-old male presenting with new onset 1 hour seizure with loss of consciousness 20 days prior to admission, and recurrent seizure 2 weeks later. Brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) showed an irregularly mass with enhancement involving the right frontal lobe. Microscopically, the lesion was characterized by sheets of Langerhans cells in addition to reactive inflammatory elements. Immunohistochemically, Langerhans cells were positive for Langerin, CD1a and S-100 protein. The patient received no chemotherapy or radiotherapy after surgery. After 24 months of follow-up, no recurrence or other systemic lesions were observed. 20SH3P2,an SH3 domain-containing protein that interacts with both Pib and AvrPib,suppresses effector-triggered,Pib-mediated immunity in rice显示文摘Plants usually keep resistance(R)proteins in a static state under normal conditions to avoid autoimmunity and save energy for growth,but R proteins can be rapidly activated upon perceiving pathogen invasion.Pib,the first cloned blast disease R gene in rice,encoding a nucleotide-binding leucine-rich repeat(NLR)protein,mediates resistance to the blast fungal(Magnaporthe oryzae)isolates carrying the avirulence gene AvrPib.However,the molecular mechanisms about how Pib recognizes AvrPib and how it is inactivated and activated remain largely unclear.In this study,through map-based cloning and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing,we proved that Pib contributes to the blast disease resistance of rice cultivar Yunyin(YY).Furthermore,an SH3 domain-containing protein,SH3P2,was found to associate with Pib mainly at clathrin-coated vesicles in rice cells,via direct binding with the coiled-coil(CC)domain of Pib.Interestingly,overexpression of SH3P2 in YY compromised Pib-mediated resistance to M.oryzae isolates carrying AvrPib and Pib-AvrPib recognition-induced cell death.SH3P2 competitively inhibits the self-association of the Pib CC domain in vitro,suggesting that binding of SH3P2 with Pib undermines its homodimerization.Moreover,SH3P2 can also interact with AvrPib and displays higher affinity to AvrPib than to Pib,which leads to dissociation of SH3P2 from Pib in the presence of AvrPib.Taken together,our results suggest that SH3P2 functions as a“protector”to keep Pib in a static state by direct interaction during normal growth but could be triggered off by the invasion of AvrPib-carrying M.oryzae isolates.Our study reveals a new mechanism about how an NLR protein is inactivated under normal conditions but is activated upon pathogen infection.Yunjie Xie Yupeng Wang Xiangzhen Yu Yuelong Lin Yongsheng Zhu Jinwen Chen Hongguang Xie Qingqing Zhang Lanning Wang Yidong Wei Yanjia Xiao Qiuhua Cai Yanmei Zheng Mo Wang Huaan Xie Jianfu Zhang 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,12:1
