1Electrochemical behavior of zirconium in molten NaCl-KCl-K_2ZrF_6 system显示文摘The electrochemical reduction of Zr4+(complex) ions in NaCl-KCl-K2ZrF6 molten salt on Pt electrode was investigated using cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry at 1023 K.Two cathodic reduction peaks related to Zr4+/Zr2+ and Zr2+/Zr steps were observed in the cyclic voltammograms.The result was also confirmed by square wave voltammetry.The diffusion coefficient of Zr4+(complex) ions at 1023 K in NaCl-KCl-K2ZrF6 melt,measured by cyclic voltammetry,is about 4.22×10-6 cm2/s.The characterization of the deposits obtained by potentiostatic electrolysis at different potentials was investigated by XRD,and the results were well consistent with the electrochemical reduction mechanism of Zr4+(complex) ions.WU Yanke XU Zhigao CHEN Song WANG Lijun LI Guoxun 2011Rare Metals2011,30,1:16
2Regeneration of commercial selective catalyst reduction catalysts deactivated by Pb and other inorganic elements显示文摘The regeneration of commercial SCR(Selective Catalyst Reduction) catalysts deactivated by Pb and other elements was studied.The deactivated catalyst samples were prepared by chemical impregnation with mixed solution containing K_2SO_4,Na_2SO_4,CaSO_4,Pb(NO_3)_2and NH_4H_2PO_4.A novel method combining Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt(EDTA-2Na) and H_2SO_4solution(viz.catalysts treated by dilute EDTA-2Na and H_2SO_4 solution in sequence) was used to recover the activity of deactivated samples,and the effect was compared with single H_2SO_4,oxalic acid,acetic acid,EDTA or HNO_3 solutions.The surface structure,acidity and reducibility of samples were characterized by N_2adsorption–desorption,inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray fluorescence(XRF),H-2-temperature programmed section(H_2-TPR),NH3-temperature programmed desorption(NH3-TPD) and in situ DRIFTS.Impurities caused a decrease of specific surface area and surface reducibility,as well as Br?nsted acid sites,and therefore led to severe deactivation of the SCR catalyst.The use of an acid solution alone possibly eliminated the impurities on the deactivated catalyst to some extent,and also increased the specific surface area and Br?nsted acid sites and promoted the surface reducibility,thus recovered the activity partially.The combination of EDTA-2Na and H_2SO_4 could remove most of the impurities and improve the activity significantly.The removal of Pb should be an important factor for regeneration.Due to a high removal rate for Pb and other impurities,the combination of EDTA-2Na and H_2SO_4 solutions provided the best efficiency.Yanke Yu Jinxiu Wang Jinsheng Chen Xinjiang He Yujing Wang Kai Song Zongli Xie 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,9:11

4Effects of calcination temperature on physicochemical property and activity of CuSO4/TiO2 ammonia-selective catalytic reduction catalysts显示文摘CuSO4/TiO2 catalysts with high catalytic activity and excellent resistant to SO2 and H2 O,were thought to be promising catalysts used in Selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides by NH3.The performance of catalysts is largely affected by calcination temperature.Here,effects of calcination temperature on physicochemical property and catalytic activity of CuSO4/TiO2 catalysts were investigated in depth.Catalyst samples calcined at different temperatures were prepared first and then physicochemical properties of the catalyst were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption,X-ray diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis,Raman spectra,Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,temperature-pro grammed desorption of NH3,temperature-programmed reduction of H2 and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy.Results revealed that high calcination temperature had three main effects on the catalyst.First,sintering and anatase transform into rutile with increase of calcination temperature,causing a decrement of specific surface area.Second,decomposition of CuSO4 under higher calcination temperature,resulting in disappears of Br(?)nsted acid sites(S-OH),which had an adverse effect on surface acidity.Third,CuO from the decomposition of CuSO4 changed surface reducibility of the catalyst and favored the process of NH3 oxidation to nitrogen oxides(NOx).Thus,catalytic activity of the catalyst calcined under high temperatures(≥600℃)decreased largely.Yanke Yu Jiali Zhang Changwei Chen Chi He Jifa Miao Huirong Li Jinsheng Chen 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,5:6
5The seasonal variations in the significant wave height and sea surface wind speed of the China's seas显示文摘Long-term variations in a sea surface wind speed(WS) and a significant wave height(SWH) are associated with the global climate change, the prevention and mitigation of natural disasters, and an ocean resource exploitation,and other activities. The seasonal characteristics of the long-term trends in China's seas WS and SWH are determined based on 24 a(1988–2011) cross-calibrated, multi-platform(CCMP) wind data and 24 a hindcast wave data obtained with the WAVEWATCH-III(WW3) wave model forced by CCMP wind data. The results show the following.(1) For the past 24 a, the China's WS and SWH exhibit a significant increasing trend as a whole, of3.38 cm/(s·a) in the WS, 1.3 cm/a in the SWH.(2) As a whole, the increasing trend of the China's seas WS and SWH is strongest in March-April-May(MAM) and December-January-February(DJF), followed by June-July-August(JJA), and smallest in September-October-November(SON).(3) The areal extent of significant increases in the WS was largest in MAM, while the area decreased in JJA and DJF; the smallest area was apparent in SON. In contrast to the WS, almost all of China's seas exhibited a significant increase in SWH in MAM and DJF; the range was slightly smaller in JJA and SON. The WS and SWH in the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, the Tsushima Strait, the Taiwan Strait, the northern South China Sea, the Beibu Gulf, and the Gulf of Thailand exhibited a significant increase in all seasons.(4) The variations in China's seas SWH and WS depended on the season. 6The Influence of El Ni?o on MJO over the Equatorial Pacific显示文摘In this paper, the influence of El Ni?o event on the Madden-Julian Oscillation(MJO) over the equatorial Pacific is studied by using reanalysis data and relevant numerical simulation results. It is clearly shown that El Ni?o can reduce the intensity of MJO. The kinetic energy of MJO over the equatorial Pacific is stronger before the occurrence of the El Ni?o event, but it is reduced rapidly after El Ni?o event outbreak, and the weakened MJO even can continue to the next summer. The convection over the central-western Pacific is weakened in El Ni?o winter. The positive anomalous OLR over the central-western Pacific has opposite variation in El Ni?o winter comparing to the non-ENSO cases. The vertical structure of MJO also affected by El Ni?o event, so the opposite direction features of the geopotential height and the zonal wind in upper and lower level troposphere for the MJO are not remarkable in the El Ni?o winter and tend to be barotropic features. El Ni?o event also has an influence on the eastward propa- gation of the MJO too. During El Ni?o winter, the eastward propagation of the MJO is not so regular and unanimous and there exists some eastward propagation, which is faster than that in non-ENSO case. Dynamic analyses suggest that positive SSTA(El Ni?o case) affects the atmospheric thickness over the equatorial Pacific and then the excited atmospheric wave-CISK mode is weakened, so that the intensity of MJO is reduced; the combining of the barotropic unstable mode in the atmosphere excited by external forcing(SSTA) and the original MJO may be an important reason for the MJO vertical structure tending to be barotropic during the El Ni?o.CHEN Xiong LI Chongyin TAN Yanke 2015Journal of Ocean University of China2015,14,1:3

8Scoring the collective effects of SNPs: association of minor alleles with complex traits in model organisms显示文摘It has long been assumed that most parts of a genome and most genetic variations or SNPs are non-functional with regard to reproductive fitness.However,the collective effects of SNPs have yet to be examined by experimental science.We here developed a novel approach to examine the relationship between traits and the total amount of SNPs in panels of genetic reference populations.We identified the minor alleles(MAs)in each panel and the MA content(MAC)that each inbred strain carried for a set of SNPs with genotypes determined in these panels.MAC was nearly linearly linked to quantitative variations in numerous traits in model organisms,including life span,tumor susceptibility,learning and memory,sensitivity to alcohol and anti-psychotic drugs,and two correlated traits poor reproductive fitness and strong immunity.These results suggest that the collective effects of SNPs are functional and do affect reproductive fitness.YUAN DeJian ZHU ZuoBin TAN XiaoHua LIANG Jie ZENG Chen ZHANG JieGen CHEN Jun MA Long DOGAN Ayca BROCKMANN Gudrun GOLDMANN Oliver MEDINA Eva RICE Amanda D. 20Honeycomb‐like hierarchical porous silicon composites with dual protection for ultrastable Li‐ion battery anodes显示文摘Silicon offers a high theoretical specific capacity for anodic lithium storage.However,its applications are hindered by the electrode instability caused by the sharp volume change,and the limited rate performance resulted from the insulating property.Herein,we introduce a facile and fast method of preparing honeycomb‐like silicon‐based anodes(MXene‐Si@C)with porous structure using MXene and carbon‐coated silicon.The dual protection from both the surface coating and as‐formed interlayered vacant spaces ameliorate the volume expansion of the silicon and thus reinforce the mechanical stability of the electrode.In addition,the highly conducting MXene and the surface carbon coating form a hierarchical and consecutive electron‐conducting network with evidently reduced resistance.With this proposed composite,a high average Coulombic efficiency of 99.73%and high capacity retention of 82.4%after 300 cycles at 1 A/g can be achieved even with an areal loading around 1.5 mg/cm^(2).Coupled with an NCM523 cathode,the proof‐of‐concept full cell delivers a high capacity of 164.2mAh/g with an extremely high energy density of 574Wh/kg(based on the mass of the electrode materials)at 0.2 C and an excellent cyclability at 0.5 C of 100 cycles with decent capacity retention(80.28%).Xudong Peng Cheng Xiong Yanke Lin Chen Zhao Tianshou Zhao 2021SmartMat2021,2,4:1
