1Dense packing properties of mineral admixtures in cementitious material显示文摘The effect of ultra-fine fly ash (UFFA),steel slag (SS) and silica fume (SF) on packing density of binary,ternary and quaternary cementitious materials was studied in this paper in terms of minimum water requirement of cement. The influence of mineral admixtures on the relative density of pastes with low water/binder ratios was analyzed and the relationship between paste density and compressive strength of the corresponding hardened mortars was discussed. The results indicate that the incorporation of mineral admixtures can effectively improve the packing density of cementitious materials; the increase in packing density of a composite with incorporation of two or three kinds of mineral admixtures is even more obvious than that with only one mineral admixture. Moreover,an optimal amount of mineral admixture imparts to the mixture maximum packing density. The dense packing effect of a mineral admixture can increase the packing density of the resulting cementitious material and also the density of paste with low water/binder ratio,which evidently enhances the compressive strength of the hardened mortar.Yanzhou Peng Shuguang Hu Qingjun Ding 2009Particuology2009,7,5:18

3A QP FREE FEASIBLE METHOD显示文摘In [12], a QP free feasible method was proposed for the minimization of a smooth function subject to smooth inequality constraints. This method is based on the solutions of linear systems of equations, the reformulation of the KKT optimality conditions by using the Fischer-Burmeister NCP function. This method ensures the feasibility of all iterations. In this paper, we modify the method in [12] slightly to obtain the local convergence under some weaker conditions. In particular, this method is implementable and globally convergent without assuming the linear independence of the gradients of active constrained functions and the uniformly positive definiteness of the submatrix obtained by the Newton or Quasi Newton methods. We also prove that the method has superlinear convergence rate under some mild conditions. 4HLA-DRB1 allele polymorphisms in genetic susceptibility to esophageal carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To probe into the genetic susceptibility of HLA-DRB1 alleles to esophageal carcinoma in Han Chinese in Hubei Province.METHODS: HLA-DRB1 allele polymorphisms were typed by polymerase chain reaction with sequence-specific primers (PCR-SSP) in 42 unrelated patients with esophageal cancer and 136 unrelated normal control subjects and the associated HLA-DRB1 allele was measured by nucleotide sequence analysis with PCR.SAS software was used in statistics.RESULTS: Allele frequency (AF) of HLA-DRB1·0901 was significantly higher in esophageal carcinoma patients than that in the normal controls (0.2500 vs0.1397, P=0.028, the odds ratio 2.053, etiologic fraction 0.1282). After analyzed the allele nucleotide sequence of HLA-DRB1·0901 which approachs to the corresponded exon 2 sequence of the allele in genebank. There was no association between patients and controls in the rested HLA-DRB1 alleles.CONCLUSION: HLA-DRB1·0901 allele is more common in the patients with esophageal carcinoma than in the healthy controls, which is positively associated with the patients of Hubei Han Chinese. 5Computer vision technology in agricultural automation--A review显示文摘Computer vision is a field that involves making a machine “see”.This technology uses a camera and computer instead of the human eye to identify,track and measure targets for further image processing.With the development of computer vision,such technology has been widely used in the field of agricultural automation and plays a key role in its development.This review systematically summarizes and analyzes the technologies and challenges over the past three years and explores future opportunities and prospects to form the latest reference for researchers.Through the analyses,it is found that the existing technology can help the development of agricultural automation for small field farming to achieve the advantages of low cost,high efficiency and high precision.However,there are still major challenges.First,the technology will continue to expand into new application areas in the future,and there will be more technological issues that need to be overcome.It is essential to build large-scale data sets.Second,with the rapid development of agricultural automation,the demand for professionals will continue to grow.Finally,the robust performance of related technologies in various complex environments will also face challenges.Through analysis and discussion,we believe that in the future,computer vision technology will be combined with intelligent technology such as deep learning technology,be applied to every aspect of agricultural production management based on large-scale datasets,be more widely used to solve the current agricultural problems,and better improve the economic,general and robust performance of agricultural automation systems,thus promoting the development of agricultural automation equipment and systems in a more intelligent direction.Hongkun Tian Tianhai Wang Yadong Liu Xi Qiao Yanzhou Li 2020Information Processing in Agriculture2020,7,1:8
6Effect of cooling rates on the dendritic morphology transition of Mg–6Gd alloy by in situ X-ray radiography显示文摘The effect of cooling rate on the transition of dendrite morphology of a Mg-6 Gd(wt%) alloy was semiquantitatively analyzed under a constant temperature gradient by using synchrotron X-ray radiographic technique. Results show that equiaxed dendrites, including exotic 'butterfly-shaped' dendrite morphology, dominate at high cooling rate(>1 K/s). When the cooling rate decreases in the range of 0.5–1 K/s, the equiaxed-to-columnar transition takes place, and solute segregates at the center of two long dendrite arms(LDA) of the 'butterfly-shaped' dendrite. When the cooling rate is lower than 0.3 K/s, directional solidification occurs and the columnar dendritic growth direction gradually rotates from the crystalline axis to the thermal gradient direction with an increase in cooling rate. Meanwhile, interface moves faster but the dendrite arm spacing decreases. 7A Data Assured Deletion Scheme in Cloud Storage显示文摘In order to provide a practicable solution to data confidentiality in cloud storage service,a data assured deletion scheme,which achieves the fine grained access control,hopping and sniffing attacks resistance,data dynamics and deduplication,is proposed.In our scheme,data blocks are encrypted by a two-level encryption approach,in which the control keys are generated from a key derivation tree,encrypted by an All-OrNothing algorithm and then distributed into DHT network after being partitioned by secret sharing.This guarantees that only authorized users can recover the control keys and then decrypt the outsourced data in an ownerspecified data lifetime.Besides confidentiality,data dynamics and deduplication are also achieved separately by adjustment of key derivation tree and convergent encryption.The analysis and experimental results show that our scheme can satisfy its security goal and perform the assured deletion with low cost.LI Chaoling CHEN Yue ZHOU Yanzhou 2014China Communications2014,11,4:7

11Representing surface wind stress response to mesoscale SST perturbations in western coast of South America using Tikhonov regularization method显示文摘Interaction between mesoscale perturbations of sea surface temperature(SSTmeso)and wind stress(WSmeso)has great influences on the ocean upwelling system and turbulent mixing in the atmospheric boundary layer.Using daily Quik-SCAT wind speed data and AMSR-E SST data,SSTmeso and WSmeso fields in the western coast of South America are extracted by using a locally weighted regression method(LOESS).The spatial patterns of SSTmeso and WSmeso indicate strong mesoscale SST-wind stress coupling in the region.The coupling coefficient between SSTmeso and WSmeso is about 0.0095 N/(m^2·℃)in winter and 0.0082 N/(m^2·℃)in summer.Based on mesoscale coupling relationships,the mesoscale perturbations of wind stress divergence(Div(WSmeso))and curl(Curl(WSmeso))can be obtained from the SST gradient perturbations,which can be further used to derive wind stress vector perturbations using the Tikhonov regularization method.The computational examples are presented in the western coast of South America and the patterns of the reconstructed WS meso are highly consistent with SSTmeso,but the amplitude can be underestimated significantly.By matching the spatially averaged maximum standard deviations of reconstructed WSmeso magnitude and observations,a reasonable magnitude of WSmeso can be obtained when a rescaling factor of 2.2 is used.As current ocean models forced by prescribed wind cannot adequately capture the mesoscale wind stress response,the empirical wind stress perturbation model developed in this study can be used to take into account the feedback effects of the mesoscale wind stress-SST coupling in ocean modeling.Further applications are discussed for taking into account the feedback effects of the mesoscale coupling in largescale climate models and the uncoupled ocean models.CUI Chaoran ZHANG Rong-Hua WANG Hongna WEI Yanzhou 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,3:2
12Seasonal variability of the Kuroshio Current at the PN Section in the East China Sea based on in-situ observation from 1987 to 2010显示文摘As the spatio-temporal variability of the Kuroshio is highly influenced by mesoscale eddies, representing its seasonal variability characteristics requires sufficiently long term observations to reduce the uncertainties.Geostrophic velocity data estimated from hydrographic observation from 1987 to 2010 and the shipboard ADCP velocity data from 1993 to 2008 at the PN Section in the central East China Sea are collected to view the seasonal variability objectively. From both types of observation, it is found that the seasonal climatology mean of the Kuroshio Current exhibits significant difference in three areas, which are located at the Kuroshio Current core and its two flanks in a shallow layer less than 300 m, with the weakest northeast current at the core in autumn, the strongest counter current on the right flank in spring, and the strongest northeast current on the left flank in autumn, respectively. The seasonal variance of the Kuroshio Current also exhibits significant difference on the offshore side of the Kuroshio, with larger variance in spring and summer while smaller variance in autumn and winter. 13Mitochondrion-targeted PENTATRICOPEPTIDE REPEAT5 is required for cis-splicing of nad4 intron 3 and endosperm development in rice显示文摘Endosperm as the storage organ of starch and protein in cereal crops largely determines grain yield and quality.Despite the fact that several pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)proteins required for endosperm development have been identified in rice,the molecular mechanisms of many P-type PPR proteins in endosperm development remains unclear.Here,we isolated a rice floury endosperm mutant ppr5 that developed small starch grains and an abnormal aleurone layer,accompanied by decreased starch,protein,and amylose contents.Map-based cloning combined with a complementation test demonstrated that PPR5 encodes a P-type PPR protein that is localized to the mitochondria.The mutation in PPR5 caused reduced splicing efficiency of mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase 4(nad4)gene intron 3 and reduced complex I assembly and activity.Loss of PPR5 function greatly upregulated expression of alternative oxidases(AOXs),reduced ATP production,and affected mitochondrial morphology.We demonstrate that PPR5,as a P-type PPR protein,is required for mitochondrial function and endosperm development by controlling the cis-splicing of mitochondrial nad4 intron 3.Long Zhang Yanzhou Qi Mingming Wu Lei Zhao Zhichao Zhao Cailin Lei Yuanyuan Hao Xiaowen Yu Yinglun Sun Xin Zhang Xiuping Guo Yulong Ren Jianmin Wan 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,2:2

17Variability of sea surface height in the South China Sea and its relationship to Pacific oscillations显示文摘The spatio-temporal variability modes of the sea surface height in the South China Sea(SCS-SSH) are obtained using the Cyclostationary Empirical Orthogonal Function(CSEOF) method, and their relationships to the Pacific basin scale oscillations are examined. The first CSEOF mode of the SCS-SSH is a strongly phase-locked annual cycle that is modulated by a slowly varying principal component(PC); the strength of this annual cycle becomes reduced during El Ni?o events(at largest by 30% off in 1997/98) and enhanced during La Ni?a events. The second mode is a low frequency oscillation nearly on decadal time scale, with its spatial structure exhibiting an obscure month-dependence; the corresponding PC is highly correlated with the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO) index.Five independent oscillations in the Pacific are isolated by using the independent component(IC) analysis(ICA)method, and their effects on the SCS-SSH are examined. It is revealed that the pure ENSO mode(which resembles the east Pacific ENSO) has little effect on the low frequency variability of the SCS-SSH while the ENSO reddening mode(which resembles the central Pacific ENSO) has clear effect. As the ENSO reddening mode is an important constituent of the PDO, this explains why the PDO is more important than ENSO in modulating the low frequency variability of SCS-SSH. Meridional saddle like oscillation mode, the Kuroshio extension warming mode, and the equatorial cooling mode are also successfully detected by the ICA, but they have little effect on the low frequency variability of the SCS-SSH. 18Impact of Lithium-Ion Coordination on Lithium Electrodeposition显示文摘The lithium dendrite and parasitic reactions are two major challenges for lithium(Li)metal anode—the most promising anode materials for high-energy-density batteries.In this work,both the dendrite and parasitic reactions that occurred between the liquid electrolyte and Li-metal anode could be largely inhibited by regulating the Li+-solvation structure.The saturated Li+-solvation species exist in commonly used LiPF 6 liquid electrolyte that needs extra energy to desolvation during Li-electrodeposition.Partial solvation induced high-energy state Li-ions would be more energy favorable during the electron-reduction process,dominating the competition with solvent reduction reactions.The Li-symmetric cells that are cycling at higher temperatures show better performance;the cycled lithium metal anode with metallic lustre and the dendrite-free surface is observed.Theoretical calculation and experimental measurements reveal the existence of high-energy state Li+-solvates species,and their concentration increases with temperature.This study provides insight into the Li+-solvation structure and its electrodeposition characteristics.Li Sheng Yanzhou Wu Jiekang Tian Li Wang Jianlong Wang Yaping Tang Hong Xu Xiangming He 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,1:2
