1Fibrinogen-like protein 2/fibroleukin prothrombinase contributes to tumor hypercoagulability via IL-2 and IFN-γ显示文摘AIM: To examine the role of Fibrinogen-like protein 2 (fgl2)/fibroleukin in tumor development. Fgl2 has been reported to play a vital role in the pathogenesis in MHV-3 (mouse hepatitis virus) induced fulminant and severe hepatitis,spontaneous abortion,allo-and xeno-graft rejection by mediating 'immune coagulation'. METHODS: Tumor tissues from 133 patients with six types of distinct cancers and the animal tumor tissues from human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) model on nude mice (established from high metastasis HCC cell line MHCC97LM6) were obtained. RESULTS: Hfgl2 was detected in tumor tissues from 127 out of 133 patients as well as tumor tissues collected from human HCC nude mice. Hfgl2 was highly expressed both in cancer cells and interstitial inflammatory cells including macrophages,NK cells,and CD8+ T lymphocytes and vascular endothelial cells. Hfgl2 mRNA was localized in cells that expressed hfgl2 protein. Fibrin (nogen) co-localization with hfgl2 expression was determined by dual immunohistochemical staining. In vitro,IL-2 and IFN-γ increased hfgl2 mRNA by 10-100 folds and protein expression in both THP-1 and HUVEC cell lines. One-stage clotting assays demonstrated that THP-1 and HUVEC cells expressing hfgl2 had increased procoagulant activity following cytokines stimulation. 2A Chromosome-Scale Genome Assembly of Paper Mulberry(Bmussonetia papyrifera)Provides New Insights into Its Forage and Papermaking Usage显示文摘Paper mulberry(Broussonetia papyrifera)is a well-known woody tree historically used for Cai Lun papermaking,one of the four great inventions of ancient China.More recently,Paper mulberry has also been used as forage to address the shortage of feedstuff because of its digestible crude fiber and high protein contents.In this study,we obtained a chromosome-scale genome assembly for Paper mulberry using integrated approaches,including Illumina and PacBio sequencing platform as well as Hi-C,optical,and genetic maps.The assembled Paper mulberry genome consists of 386.83 Mb,which is close to the estimated size,and 99.25%(383.93 Mb)of the assembly was assigned to 13 pseudochromosomes.Comparative genomic analysis revealed the expansion and contraction in the flavonoid and lignin biosynthetic gene families,respectively,accounting for the enhanced flavonoid and decreased lignin biosynthesis in Paper mulberry.Moreover,the increased ratio of syringyl-lignin to guaiacyl-lignin in Paper mulberry underscores its suitability for use in medicine,forage,papermaking,and barkcloth making.We also identified the rootassociated microbiota of Paper mulberry and found that Pseudomonas and Rhizobia were enriched in its roots and may provide the source of nitrogen for its stems and leaves via symbiotic nitrogen fixation.Collectively,these results suggest that Paper mulberry might have undergone adaptive evolution and recruited nitrogen-fixing microbes to promote growth by enhancing flavonoid production and altering lignin monomer composition.Our study provides significant insights into genetic basis of the usefulness of Paper mulberry in papermaking and barkcloth making,and as forage.These insights will facilitate further domestication and selection as well as industrial utilization of Paper mulberry worldwide.Xianjun Peng Hui Liu Peilin Chen Feng Tang Yanmin Hu Fenfen Wang Zhi Pi Meiling Zhao Naizhi Chen Hui Chen Xiaokang Zhang Xueqing Yan Min Liu Xiaojun Fu Guofeng Zhao Pu Yao Lili Wang He Dai Xuming Li Wei Xiong Wencai Xu Hongkun Zheng Haiyan Yu Shihua Shen 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,5:18
3Multiple constraints QoS multicast routing optimization algorithm in MANET based on GA显示文摘Usually multiple quality of service (QoS) guarantees are required in most multicast applications. This paper presents a multiple con-straints algorithm for multicast traffic engineering in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET). The proposed algorithm is a new version of multiple constraints QoS multicast routing optimization algorithm in MANET based on genetic algorithm (MQMGA). The proposed MQMGA can optimize the maximum link utilization, the cost of the multicast tree, the selection of the long-life path, the average delay and the maximum end-to-end delay. 4Bibliometric profile of neurogenic bladder in the literature:a 20-year bibliometric analysis显示文摘Neurogenic bladder is a dysfunction of the lower urinary tract caused by nervous system disorder.We investigated the trends in publication of articles under the topic 'neurogenic bladder' using bibliometric analysis.Articles on neurogenic bladder,published between 1995 and 2014,were retrieved from the ISI Web of Science citation database.We analyzed the search results for authors,countries,institutions,journals,and top-cited papers.A total of 1,904 articles were retrieved.There was a small increase in the number of articles on neurogenic bladder from 1995(n = 43) to 2014(n = 117).The USA was the leading country in the total number of articles(n = 598).However,the number of publications from China has rapidly increased,and China was ranked second in 2014.Emmanuel Chartier-Kastler(n = 65) was the most productive author,and University of Paris VI(Paris 6)(n = 61) was the most productive institution.The Journal of Urology published the greatest number of articles on this topic(n = 285).Articles on neurogenic bladder were often published in a professional journal under the category Urology & Nephrology,Neurosciences & Neurology,or Rehabilitation.Visualization analysis based on co-citation networks was conducted using Cite Space III.Visualization analysis revealed that the hot spots in neurogenic bladder were botulinum toxin-A,prazosin,bethanechol,and afferent pathways.These findings provide new insight into the publication trends and hot spots in neurogenic bladder.Yuan Gao Bo Qu Yan Shen Xiao-jing Su Xiao-yan Dong Xue-mei Chen Yu-hong Zhou Hong-ying Pi 2015Neural Regeneration Research2015,10,5:4
5A NEW UNSUPERVISED CLASSIFICATION ALGORITHM FOR POLARIMETRIC SAR IMAGES BASED ON FUZZY SET THEORY显示文摘In this letter, a new method is proposed for unsupervised classification of terrain types and man-made objects using POLarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (POLSAR) data. This technique is a combi-nation of the usage of polarimetric information of SAR images and the unsupervised classification method based on fuzzy set theory. Image quantization and image enhancement are used to preprocess the POLSAR data. Then the polarimetric information and Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering algorithm are used to classify the preprocessed images. The advantages of this algorithm are the automated classification, its high classifica-tion accuracy, fast convergence and high stability. 6Degradation of the antibiotic sulfamonomethoxine sodium in aqueous solution by photo-Fenton oxidation显示文摘In this study, photo-Fenton oxidation was applied to degradation of sulfamonomethoxine sodium (SMMS) in aqueous solution. The operation parameters of pH, temperature, and concentrations of H2O2, Fe2+ and SMMS were investigated. The optimum conditions for the photo-Fenton process were determined as follows: [SMMS]=4.53 mg/L, pH 4.0, [H2O2]=0.49 mmol/L, [Fe2+]= 19.51 μmol/L and T=25°C. Under these conditions 98.5% of the SMMS degraded. The kinetics were also studied, and degradation of SMMS by the photo-Fenton process could be described by first-order kinetics. The apparent activation energy was calculated as 23.95 kJ/mol. Mineralization of the process was investigated by measuring the chemical oxygen demand (COD), and the COD decreased by 99% after 120 min. 7The Gravitational-wave physics Ⅱ: Progress显示文摘It has been a half-decade since the first direct detection of gravitational waves, which signifies the coming of the era of the gravitational-wave astronomy and gravitational-wave cosmology. The increasing number of the detected gravitational-wave events has revealed the promising capability of constraining various aspects of cosmology, astronomy, and gravity. Due to the limited space in this review article, we will briefly summarize the recent progress over the past five years, but with a special focus on some of our own work for the Key Project 'Physics associated with the gravitational waves' supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. 20Accelerating ESD-induced gastric ulcer healing using a pH-responsive polyurethane/small intestinal submucosa hydrogel delivered by endoscopic catheter显示文摘Endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)is the standard treatment for early-stage gastric cancer,but the large post-operative ulcers caused by ESD often lead to serious side effects.Post-ESD mu-cosal repair materials provide a new option for the treatment of post-ESD ulcers.In this study,we developed a polyurethane/small intestinal submucosa(PU/SIS)hydrogel and investigated its effi-cacy for accelerating ESD-induced ulcer healing in a canine model.PU/SIS hydrogel possessed great biocompatibility and distinctive pH-sensitive swelling properties and protected GES-1 cells from acid attack through forming a dense film in acidic conditions in vitro.Besides,PU/SIS gels present a strong bio-adhesion to gastric tissues under acidic conditions,thus ensuring the reten-tion time of PU/SIS gels in vivo.In a canine model,PU/SIS hydrogel was easily delivered via endoscopy and adhered to the ulcer sites.PU/SIS hydrogel accelerated gastric ulcer healing at an early stage with more epithelium regeneration and slight inflammation.Our findings reveal PU/SIS hydrogel is a promising and attractive candidate for ESD-induced ulcer repair.Long-Mei Zhao Mei Gong Rui Wang Qi-Juan Yuan Yi Zhang Jin-Kui Pi Xiu-He Lv Yan Xie Hui-Qi Xie 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,1:1
