1Mo SILTCIDE SYNTHISIS BY DUAL ION BEAM DEPOSITION显示文摘Mo suicides Mo5 Si3 with high quality were prepared using ion beam deposition equipment with two Filter Metal Vacuum Arc Deposition (FMEVAD). When the number of alternant deposition times was 198, total thickness of the coating is 40nm. The coatings with droplet free can be readily obtained, so the surface is smooth. TEM observation shows that Mo and Si alternant deposition coating is compact structure. The fine Mo suicide grains densely distributed in the coating. 2对比增强超声显示的颈动脉斑块新生血管与临床症状的相关性显示文摘目的采用微气泡对比剂.评价颈动脉粥样硬化病人斑块的强化程度与临床症状的相关性。方法本研究得到医院伦理委员会批准,所有病人均签署知情同意书。104例颈动脉粥样斑块的病人[男性83例,平均年龄(64±9)岁;女件21例,平均年龄(61-10)岁]行普通超声和对比增强超声检查。采用视觉和定量分析评价斑块的强化程度。结果在104例病人中,35例(34%)有一过性缺血发作和(或)脑血管缺血性卒中。35例有症状和69例无症状的病人中,分别有28例(80%)和21例(30%)病人可见斑块强化(P〈0.001)。L. 3What is going on in magnesium alloys?显示文摘China has been developed into one of the most active regions in terms of both fundamental and applied research on magnesium(Mg) and its alloys in the world from a solid base laid by its prominent metallurgist and materials scientists over the past decades. Nowadays, a large number of young-generation researchers have been inspired by their predecessors and become the key participants in the fields of Mg alloys, which consequently led to the establishment of China Youth Scholar Society for Magnesium Alloys Research in 2015. Since then, the first two China Youth Scholars Symposiums on Mg Alloys Research had been held at Harbin(2015) and Chongqing(2016) China, respectively. A number of crucial research interests related to fundamental and applied Mg research were discussed at the conferences and summarized in this short perspective, aiming to boost far-reaching initiatives for development of new Mg-based materials to satisfy the requirements for a broad range of industrial employments. Herein, four main aspects are included as follows: i) Plastic deformation mechanism and strengthening strategy, ii) Design and development of new Mg-based materials, iii) Key service properties, and iv) New processing technologies.X.J. 4RHEOCASTING OF A356 ALLOY BY LOW SUPERHEAT POURING WITH A SHEARING FIELD显示文摘A novel semi-solid slurry-making process was developed, which was a controlled nucleation and growth technique using a specially designed rotational barrel. Experimental study was undertaken to investigate the effects of pouring temperature and rotation speed of barrel on the microstructure of A356 alloy. Localized rapid cooling, combined with vigorous mixing during the initial stage of solidification enhanced wall nucleation and nuclei survival. High nuclei density combined with a much gradual cooling afterwards led to the formation of the near-ideal semi-solid slurry under a large processing window for the pouring temperature. Primary phase presented in mean equivalent diameter of 50-70μm and shape factor of 0.812-0.847, and featured zero-entrapped eutectic.H.M. Guo X.J. Yang B. 5Al_(80)Ni_6Y_8Co_4Cu_2 GLASS ALLOYS CONTAINING NANOSCALEPARTICLES BY ISOTHERMAL ANNEALING OR QUENCHING显示文摘Al80Ni6 Y8 Co4 Cu2 amorphous ribbons were isothermally annealed and a mixed structure consisting of α-Al particle with a size of less than 15nm and Al3Ni compound with a size of about 30nm was obtained. The crystallization kinetics of Al80Ni6 Y8 Co4 Cu2 amorphous alloy shows that the precipitation of α-Al particles is the growth process controlled by diffusion of the solute elements rejected from the growing crystals. By quenching at different cooling rates, a mixed structure consisting of nanoscale α-Al particles and the remaining glass matrix or structure consisting of nanoscale particle (Al phase or Al3Ni compound) with a size of about 100nm was formed. The addition of Co elements and Cu elements to Al-Ni-Y alloy systems increases the glass formation ability of the alloy and the thermal stability of the supercooled liquid region against crystallization, which results from significant difference of atomic size, strong bonding nature among constituent elements and the low diffisivity of the solute elements due to the concentration gradient in the growing front of crystals.Z. 7High-Temperature Oxidation Behavior of a Ni-Cr-W-Al Alloy显示文摘A study was conducted to examine the isothermal oxidation behavior of a new Ni-Cr-W-Al alloy in air at 1250℃ with different time. Oxidation kinetics was determined from weight-change measurements. The microstructure and composition of the oxide scale were investigated by means of scanning electron microcopy and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that the oxide scales of the alloy were a compact and continuous outer Cr2O3 and NiCr2O4 layer and an inner Al2O3 layer that was in dendrite shape. Oxides scales with good adherence were formed on the surface of the alloy, which made the alloy perform excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance.Y.C. Ma X.J. Zhao M. Gao K. 8STUDY ON DESIGN TECHNIQUES OF A LONG LIFE HOT FORGING DIE WITH MULTI-MATERIALS显示文摘A new design technique for the long life hot forging die has been proposed. By finite element analysis, the reason for the failure of hot forging die was analyzed and it was concluded that thermal stress is the main reason for the failure of hot forging die. Based on this conclusion, the whole hot forging die was divided into the substrate part and the heat-resistant part according to the thermal stress distribution. Moreover, the heat-resistant part was further subdivided into more zones and the material of each zone was reasonably selected to ensure that the hot forging die can work in an elastic state. When compared with the existing techniques, this design can greatly increase the service life because the use of multi-materials can alleviate the thermal stress in hot forging die.X.J. Liu H.C. 10STUDY OF DYNAMIC RECRYSTALLIZATION OF LOW CARBON STEEL IN THIN SLAB CONTINUOUS ROLLING PROCESS显示文摘Combined with the technological characteristics of thin slab continuous rolling process (TSCR), dynamic recrystallization of an extremely coarse austenite of low carbon steel is studied by Thermecmaster-Z hot simulator. By the analysis of true stress-strain curves and the observation of microstructures at different deformation stages, the critical stress and critical strain are determined under different deformation conditions. 13PREPARATION OF NANOMETER ZINC OXIDE BY EVAPORATION METHOD显示文摘Nanometer ZnO particles were synthesized by evaporating of zinc powders of averageparticle size of 370μm studied by XRD, TEM and electron diffraction. The particleswere formed by the oxidation of evaporated zinc vapor in the air. It was found that theparticles range from 70 to 100nm in average particle size. The effect of experimentalparameters was investigated, the increase of the air flow-rates reduced the averageparticle size, while increasing the evaporation temperature and the amount of metalcharged increased the average particle size. TEM of the particles collected showedthat the crystal habits of particles have a tetrapod-like of wurtzite structure consists offour needle crystals. 16A Theoretical Approach for Estimating Fracture Toughness of Ductile Metals显示文摘Fracture toughness is very important when applying Damage Tolerance Design and Assessment Techniques. The traditional testing approach for obtaining fracture toughness values is costly and time consuming. In order to estimate the fracture toughness of ductile metals, the fracture mechanics theory, materials plastic deformation theory and materials constructive relationships are employed here. A series of formulae and a theoretical approach are presented to calculate fracture toughness values of different materials in the plane stress and plane strain conditions.
