1Temperature effect and thermal impact in lithium-ion batteries: A review显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries, with high energy density(up to 705 Wh/L) and power density(up to 10,000 W/L), exhibit high capacity and great working performance. As rechargeable batteries, lithium-ion batteries serve as power sources in various application systems. Temperature, as a critical factor, significantly impacts on the performance of lithium-ion batteries and also limits the application of lithium-ion batteries. Moreover, different temperature conditions result in different adverse effects. Accurate measurement of temperature inside lithiumion batteries and understanding the temperature effects are important for the proper battery management. 2Competition between Populus euphratica and Tamarix ramosissima seedlings under simulated high groundwater availability显示文摘Desert riparian plants experience high variability in water availability due to hydrological fluctuations. How riparian plants can survive with low water availability has been well studied, however, little is known about the effects of high water availability on plant community structuring. We conducted a mesocosm experiment to test whether seedling competition under simulated high groundwater availability can explain the shift of co-dominance of Populus euphratica and Tamarix ramosissima in early communities to P. euphratica dominance in mature ones along the Tarim River in northwestern China. Seedlings of these two plant species were grown in monoculture and mixture pools with high groundwater availability. Results indicated that the above-ground biomass and relative yield of T. ramosissima were higher than those of P. euphratica. The competitive advantages of T. ramosissima included its rapid response in growth to groundwater enrichment and its water spender strategy, as evidenced by the increased leaf biomass proportion and the inert stomatal response to leaf-to-air vapor pressure deficit(VPD). In comparison, P. euphratica showed a conservative strategy in water use, with a sensitive response to leaf-to-air VPD. Result of the short-term competition was inconsistent with the long-term competition in fields, suggesting that competition exclusion is not the mechanism structuring the desert riparian plant communities. 3Ternary organic solar cells based on polymer donor,polymer acceptor and PCBM components显示文摘In this work,ternary organic solar cells(OSCs)combining a fullerene derivative PC71BM with a nonfullerene acceptor N2200-F blended with a polymer donor PM6 were reported.Compared with the binary systems,the highest power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 8.11%was achieved in ternary solar cells with 30 wt%N2200-F content,mainly due to the improved short-circuit current density(Jsc)and fill factor(FF).Further studies showed that the improved Jsc could attribute to the complementary abso rption of the two acceptors and the enhanced FF was originated from the higher hole mobility and the fine-tuned morphology in the ternary system.These results demonstrate that the combination of fullere ne and nonfullerene acceptors in ternary organic solar cells is a promising approach to achieve high-performance OSCs.Feng Liu Cheng Li Junyu Li Chao Wang Chengyi Xiao Yonggang Wu Weiwei Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:3
4Extraordinary characteristics for one-dimensional parity-time-symmetric periodic ring optical waveguide networks显示文摘In this paper, we design a one-dimensional(1D) parity-time-symmetric periodic ring optical waveguide network(PTSPROWN) and investigate its extraordinary optical characteristics. It is found that quite different from traditional vacuum/dielectric optical waveguide networks, 1D PTSPROWN cannot produce a photonic ordinary propagation mode, but can generate simultaneously two kinds of photonic nonpropagation modes: attenuation propagation mode and gain propagation mode. It creates neither passband nor stopband and possesses no photonic band structure. This makes 1D PTSPROWN possess richer spontaneous PT-symmetric breaking points and causes interesting extremum spontaneous PT-symmetric breaking points to appear, where electromagnetic waves can create ultrastrong extraordinary transmission, reflection, and localization, and the maximum can arrive at 6.6556 × 10^(12) and is more than 7 orders of magnitude larger than the results reported previously.1D PTSPROWN may possess potential in designing high-efficiency optical energy saver devices, optical amplifiers, optical switches with ultrahigh monochromaticity, and so on.YAN ZHI XIANGBO YANG JIAYE WU SHIPING DU PEICHAO CAO DONGMEI DENG CHENGYI TIMON LIU 2018Photonics Research2018,6,6:2
5MoS2/C/C nanofiber with double-layer carbon coating for high cycling stability and rate capability in lithium-ion batteries显示文摘MoS2 has attracted a lot of interest in the field of lithium-ion storage as ananode material owing to its high capacity and two-dimensional (2D)-layerstructure. However, its electrochemical properties, such as rate capability andcycling stability, are usually limited by its low conductivity, volume variation, andpolysulfide dissolution during lithiation/delithiation cycling. Here, a designedtwo-layer carbon-coated MoS2/carbon nanofiber (MoS2/C/C fiber) hybrid electrodewith a double-layer carbon coating was achieved by a facile hydrothermal andsubsequent electrospinning method. The double carbon layer (inner amorphouscarbon and outer carbon fiber) shells could efficiently increase the electronconductivity, prevent the aggregation of MoS2 flakes, and limit the volumechange and polysulfide loss during long-term cycling. The as-prepared MoS2/C/Cfiber electrode exhibited a high capacity of up to 1,275 mAh/g at a currentdensity of 0.2 A/g, 85.0% first cycle Coulombic efficiency, and significantlyincreased rate capability and cycling stability. 7In-situ monitoring of dynamic behavior of catalyst materials and reaction intermediates in semiconductor catalytic processes显示文摘Semiconductor photocatalysis, as a key part of solar energy utilization, has far-reaching implications for industrial, agricultural, and commercial development. Lack of understanding of the catalyst evolution and the reaction mechanism is a critical obstacle for designing efficient and stable photocatalysts. This review summarizes the recent progress of in-situ exploring the dynamic behavior of catalyst materials and reaction intermediates. Semiconductor photocatalytic processes and two major classes of in-situ techniques that include microscopic imaging and spectroscopic characterization are presented. 10Green synthesis of Au@WSe_(2) hybrid nanostructures with the enhanced peroxidase-like activity for sensitive colorimetric detection of glucose显示文摘We report a colorimetric method for glucose detection based on Au nanoparticle-decorated WSe_(2)(Au@WSe_(2))hybrid nanostructures.These hybrid structures are easily synthesized by simply stirring HAuCl_(4) precursor with WSe_(2) nanosheets in aqueous solution.Owing to strong synergistic catalytic effects of Au nanoparticles and WSe_(2) nanosheets,the Au@WSe_(2) hybrid nanostructures exhibit enhanced peroxidase-like activity(about 2-fold higher compared to WSe_(2) nanosheets alone)for 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine oxidation by H_(2)O_(2).Based on the highly catalytical property,the colorimetric method for glucose detection is established by coupling glucose oxidase(GOx).The detection limit of glucose is 3.66 pM.Moreover,the proposed colorimetric method is applicable to glucose detection in serum samples and is promising for applications in biomedical fields.Chengyi Hong Lingling Chen Chenyue Wu Dan Yang Jia-Yong Dai Zhiyong Huang Ren Cai Weihong Tan 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:0
11High Speed Steel and WC Particle-Reinforced Composites Produce by Spray Forming显示文摘The process of spray forming utilized to fabricate WC particle-reinforced high speed steel composites has been studied. In addition, microstructures and mechanical properties of M2 high speed steel and its composites made by spray forming have been analyzed. The results show that the primary carbides of high speed steel are of two types: MC and MbC. With the increase in flight distance, the morphology of the primary carbides varies from fine fish-bone-like to islandlike and both bending strength and hardness increase. 12A benzo[ghi]-perylene triimide based double-cable conjugated polymer for single-component organic solar cells显示文摘Single-component organic solar cells(SCOSCs)with high stability and simplified fabrication process are supposed to accelerate the commercialization of organic photovoltaics.However,the types of photo-active materials and photovoltaic performance of SCOSCs are still far lagging behind the bulk-heterojunction type organic solar cells(BHJ OSCs).It is still an arduous task to introduce new photo-active materials into SCOSCs,aiming to improve the efficiencies of SCOSCs.One feasible way is to construct double-cable polymers with new structures and tune conformation,morphology and mobility for the improvement in power conversion efficiencies(PCEs).Hence,in this work,we constructed a new double-cable polymer PBTT-BPTI by introducing fused core 5,7-dibromo-2,3-bis(2-ethylhexyl)benzo[1,2-b:4,5-c’]dithiophene-4,8-dione(TTDO)into the main backbone and benzo[ghi]-perylene triimide(BPTI)unit into the side chain.Both of the two units show strong electron-withdrawing property,which are expected to broaden absorption spectra and enhance intermolecular interaction.The double-cable polymer exhibited a broad absorption in the range of 300-700 nm with an optical band gap(E_(g))of 1.79 eV.The PCE of PBTT-BPTI-based SCOSCs was 2.15%,which may be limited by the unconstructed efficient electron transporting channels.Dan Wang Zhaofan Yang Feng Liu Chengyi Xiao Yonggang Wu Weiwei Li 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:0
13Copper-hydride nanoclusters with enhanced stability by N- heterocyclic carbenes显示文摘Copper-hydrides have been intensively studied for a long time due to their utilization in a variety of technologically important chemical transformations.Nevertheless,poor stability of the species severely hinders its isolation,storage and operation,which is worse for nano-sized ones.We report here an unprecedented strategy to access to ultrastable copper-hydride nanoclusters(NCs),namely,using bidentate N-heterocyclic carbenes as stabilizing ligands in addition to thiolates.In this work,a simple synthetic protocol was developed to synthesize the first large copper-hydride nanoclusters(NCs)stabilized by N-heterocyclic carbenes(NHCs).The NC,with the formula of Cu3i(RS)25(NHC)3H6(NHC=1,4-bis(1-benzyl-1 H-benzimidazol-1-ium-3-yl)butane,RS=4-fluorothiophenol),was fully characterized by high resolution Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrum,nuclear magnetic resonance,ultra-violet visible spectroscopy,density functional theory(DFT)calculations and single-crystal X-ray crystallography.Structurally,the title cluster exhibits unprecedented Cu4 tetrahedron-based vertex-sharing(TBVS)superstructure(fusion of six Cu4 tetrahedra).Moreover,the ultrahigh thermal stability renders the cluster a model system to highlight the power of NHCs(even other carbenes)in controlling geometrical,electronic and surface structure of polyhydrido copper clusters.Hui Shen Lingzheng Wang Omar Lopez-Estrada Chengyi Hu Qingyuan Wu Dongxu Cao Sami Malola Boon KTeo Hannu Hakkinen Nanfeng Zheng 2021Nano Research2021,14,9:0
14Solar-driven high-temperature steam generation at ambient pressure显示文摘This paper demonstrates a facile solar steam generator for the generation of high-temperature steam at ambient pressure. The steam generator consists of a coiled copper tube(CCT) that serves as both solar collector and vapor heater. Both the inner and outer surfaces of the CCT are coated with black superhydrophobic copper oxide layer to improve the solar absorption, and such superhydrophobic layer prevents the condensation and clogging of water vapor during the heating process. Solar vapor is generated at the inlet of CCT through interfacial evaporation and subsequently heated inside the CCT as the vapor travels from the inlet to the outlet. By employing this approach, steam temperature that exceeds 100℃ under 1-sun illumination is demonstrated. Furthermore,steam temperature could reach as high as 250℃ under 10-sun illumination at ambient pressure. Successful sterilization experiment was also performed in this work to demonstrate the potential application of the high temperature steam generated. 15Research on Flexible GaInP/GaInAs/Ge/Bi2Te3/Sb2Te3 PV-TE Integrated Systems显示文摘An optimal structure design of the lattice mismatched GaInP/GaInAs/Ge solar cell with high photoelectric conversion efficiency was proposed. Two-dimensional Bi2Te3/Sb2Te3 nanosheets were prepared by solvothermal synthesis method used as thermoelectric(TE) functional materials, which is further hybrid with high conductive reduced graphene oxide(rGO) and carbon nanotubes(CNTs). TE film was then fabricated based on above materials. The power factor of the n-type TE film is 19.31 μW/mK2, and the power factor of the p-type TE film is 97.40 μW/mK2. The flexible TE device was integrated with flexible solar cell. Compared with the single photovoltaic(PV) cell, the efficiency of the as-prepared flexible integrated device measured under the AM1.5 illumination is significantly improved. The efficiency of the two parallel tests is increased from 27.26% and 26.59%, to 29.11% and 28.92%, respectively. 16High-Performance Ionic Thermoelectric Supercapacitor for Integrated Energy Conversion-Storage显示文摘Converting low-grade waste heat into usable electricity and storing it simultaneously requires a new technology that realize the directional migration of electrons or ions under temperature difference and enrichment on the electrodes.Although the urgent demand of energy conversion-storage(ECS)has emerged in the field of wearable electronic,achieving the integrated bi-functional device remains challenge due to the different mechanisms of electrical transportation and storage.Here,we report an ionic thermoelectric supercapacitor that relies on the synergistic functions of thermoelectricity and supercapacitor in the thermoelectric ionogel electrolyte and high-performance hydrogel electrodes to enhance the ECS performance under a thermal gradient.The thermoelectric electrolyte is composed of polyacrylamide hydrogel and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(PMSC),possessing cross-linked network with excellent cation selectivity,while the ionic thermoelectric properties are further improved in the presence of NaCl.The corresponding Seebeck coefficient and ionic conductivity of the NaCl–PMSC electrolyte reach 17.1 mV K^(-1)and 26.8 mS cm^(-1),respectively.Owing to good stretchability of both gel-based electrolyte and electrode,the fullstretchable integrated ECS device,termed ionic thermoelectric supercapacitor,presents promising thermal-charge storage capability(~1.3 mC,ΔT≈10 K),thus holds promise for wearable energy harvesting.Xinyu Yang Yuqing Tian Bo Wu Wei Jia Chengyi Hou Qinghong Zhang Yaogang Li Hongzhi Wang 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,3:0

18A new composite:spray-deposited M2 high speed steel reinforced by WC particles显示文摘The fabrication of the high speed steel matrix composites reinforced by WC particles utilizing the ultrasonicgas atomization and spray-deposition was studied. The change of microstware and mechanical Properties of thecomposites added WC Particles were investigated and analyzed as well. 20Association Between the 313 bp Indel in Porcine POU1F1 Gene and Reproduction Traits显示文摘The study aims to analyze the distribution of the 313 bp indel(insertion/deletion termed as indel) in first intron of POU1F1 and it's association with reproduction traits in Sutai pigs by using the PCR-DSCP technique. The results showed that in this commercial pig population,the frequency of allele A was 0.6371,B was 0.3629;the genotype frequency of AA was 0.4516,AB was 0.3710,BB was 0.1774,and the χ2 test showed that the allele frequencies were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The SPSS GLM procedure was used to identify the association of the 313 bp indel with reproductive traits. In Sutai pigs,the pigs with AA genotype represented higher value in all reproduction traits,except for higher survival rate of piglets at weaning. Higher weaning weight was signifi cantly associated with AA genotype pigs and higher survival rate of piglets at weaning was signifi cantly associated with BB genotype(P<0.05) ,but no signif icant differences in other reproduction traits among genotypes were found(P>0.05) ;the P value of different traits affected by fi xed factors were not signif icant as well(P>0.05) .
