1中国大城市低收入邻里及其居民的贫困集聚度和贫困决定因素显示文摘基于2007年在中国6个大城市开展的大规模家庭户调查,采用FGT指数法和逻辑回归分析方法,探讨中国大城市低收入邻里及其居民的贫困集聚程度和决定因素。研究发现,老城衰败邻里的贫困集聚度最高,同时承受多重不利状况的下岗/失业人员的贫困集聚度也是最高;事实贫困、被剥夺感与社会福利分配之间存在不匹配现象。在贫困的决定因素方面,制度保障和市场薪酬对城市贫困的发生具有同等重要的作用,但对不同低收入邻里和不同社会群体又表现出不同的关联性。随着市场作用的加强,市场薪酬机制正在成为贫困产生的更为重要的决定性因素。何深静 刘玉亭 吴缚龙 Chris Webster 2010地理学报2010,65,12:49
2安徽石台县日本血吸虫病传染源调查显示文摘目的了解石台县血吸虫病传染源种类,指导当地防治工作。方法选择龙泉、垄上及源头3个流行村,开展人畜及野生动物的病原学查病,计算感染率及感染度。结果3个村感染日本血吸虫的宿主有人、狗、猫及野鼠,其中人感染率分别为0、1.01%和0.87%,野鼠和狗感染率分别在22.22~33.33%和4.35~26.47%。感染度以野鼠最高,达609.91(算术均数)和259.06(几何均数)。并在当地另一乡发现1只野兔感染血吸虫。结论当地血吸虫病流行可能与野鼠、狗等有关,但明确各种感染宿主在血吸虫病传播中的地位尚有待分子生物学研究。吕大兵 汪天平 James Rudge 孙爱炎 方国仁 吴维铎 吴明耀 朱磊 汪峰峰 章乐生 操治国 Joanne Webster 2007热带病与寄生虫学2007,5,1:24
3Therapeutic targeting of epidermal growth factor receptor in human cancer: successes and limitations显示文摘Epidermal growth fac tor receptor (EGFR) is one of the most commonly altered genes in human cancer by way of over-expression, amplification, and mutation. Targeted inhibition of EGFR activity suppresses signal transduction pathways which control tumor cell growth, proliferation, and resistance to apoptosis. Small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies are among the most common EGFR-targeting agents and have been used clinically for treating various malignancies. This review discusses the successes and challenges of targeting EGFR in human cancer. The genetic alterations of EGFR tend to occur more often in some solid tumors than others, as do the mechanisms of resistance to targeted inhibition. 5Fundamental motor skills,screen-time,and physical activity in preschoolers显示文摘Purpose: To examine the associations among preschoolers fundamental motor skills, screen-time, physical activity(PA), and sedentary behavior(SB).Methods: Children ages 3à4 years were enrolled in a prospective observational trial of PA. Trained assessors conducted the Test of Gross Motor Development-3 rd edition(TGMD-3), and the Movement Assessment Battery for Children-2 nd edition, and parent-reported child screen-time and sociodemographic information. Children wore an accelerometer for 7 days to examine SB and total PA(TPA). TPA was further characterized as moderateto-vigorous PA(MVPA) or vigorous PA(VPA). Mixed linear models were calculated, controlling for age(for TGMD-3), sex, household income, and accelerometer wear time(for accelerometry models), with childcare center as a random effect. The primary analysis reported on the cross-sectional baseline data of 126 children with complete fundamental motor skill and screen-time data; a subanalysis included 88 children with complete accelerometry data.Results: Children were 3.4 § 0.5 years of age(54% girls; 46% white, 42% African American, 12% other). A total of 48% lived in households at or below the federal poverty level. Children engaged in 5.1 § 3.6 h/day of screen-time. Children's screen-time was inversely related to the Movement Assessment Battery for Children-2 nd edition, manual dexterity skills percentile(b(SE) = ?1.7(0.8), p = 0.049). In the accelerometry subsample,children engaged in 5.9 § 0.9 h/day of TPA of which 1.7 § 0.6 h/day was MVPA. Boys engaged in more MVPA and VPA and less SB compared with girls(all p < 0.05). A higher TGMD-3, total score(b(SE) = 0.4(0.2), p = 0.017) and locomotor score(b(SE) = 0.7(0.3), p = 0.018) were associated with more VPA but not with TPA or MVPA. Screen-time and television in the bedroom were not related to SB, TPA, MVPA, or VPA.Conclusion: Children's motor skills were positively related to VPA but inversely related to screen-time. 6Emerging function of mTORC2 as a core regulator in glioblastoma: metabolic reprogramming and drug resistance显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM) is one of the most lethal human cancers. Genomic analyses define the molecular architecture of GBM and highlight a central function for mechanistic target of rapamycin(m TOR) signaling. m TOR kinase exists in two multiprotein complexes, namely, m TORC1 and m TORC2. These complexes differ in terms of function, regulation and rapamycin sensitivity. m TORC1 is well established as a cancer drug target, whereas the functions of m TORC2 in cancer, including GBM, remains poorly understood. 13Green-Naghdi Theory,Part A:Green-Naghdi(GN) Equations for Shallow Water Waves显示文摘In this work,Green-Naghdi (GN) equations with general weight functions were derived in a simple way. A wave-absorbing beach was also considered in the general GN equations. A numerical solution for a level higher than 4 was not feasible in the past with the original GN equations. The GN equations for shallow water waves were simplified here, which make the application of high level (higher than 4) equations feasible. The linear dispersion relationships of the first seven levels were presented. The accuracy of dispersion relationships increased as the level increased. Level 7 GN equations are capable of simulating waves out to wave number times depth . Numerical simulation of nonlinear water waves was performed by use of Level 5 and 7 GN equations, which will be presented in the next paper.William C. 16Therapeutic resistance in cancer: microRNA regulation of EGFR signaling networks显示文摘Receptor tyrosine kinases(RTKs)such as the epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)regulate cellular homeostatic processes.EGFR activates downstream signaling cascades that promote tumor cell survival,proliferation and migration.Dysregulation of EGFR signaling as a consequence of overexpression,amplification and mutation of the EGFR gene occurs frequently in several types of cancers and many become dependent on EGFR signaling to maintain their malignant phenotypes.Consequently,concerted efforts have been mounted to develop therapeutic agents and strategies to effectively inhibit EGFR.However,limited therapeutic benefits to cancer patients have been derived from EGFR-targeted therapies.A well-documented obstacle to improved patient survival is the presence of EGFR-inhibitor resistant tumor cell variants within heterogeneous tumor cell masses.Here,we summarize the mechanisms by which tumors resist EGFR-targeted therapies and highlight the emerging role of microRNAs(miRs)as downstream effector molecules utilized by EGFR to promote tumor initiation,progression and that play a role in resistance to EGFR inhibitors.We also examine evidence supporting the utility of miRs as predictors of response to targeted therapies and novel therapeutic agents to circumvent EGFR-inhibitor resistance mechanisms.German G.Gomez Jill Wykosky Ciro Zanca Frank B.Furnari Webster K.Cavenee 2013Cancer Biology & Medicine2013,10,4:3

20游客原真性感知与世界遗产资源原真性内涵集合式关系研究(英文)显示文摘游客原真性感知对于世界遗产资源的未来发展具有重要价值。本文基于原真性学说针对游客感知与世界遗产资源旅游发展内涵之间的关系进行了探讨。通过对世界遗产故宫博物院实证研究的结果表明:数学集合理论模型能够很好地模拟游客原真性感知与遗产资源发展内涵之间的内在联系,继而5种集合式关系被建立起来,即'相离关系'、'相交关系'、'包含关系I'、'包含关系II'和'重合关系'。根据调查样本的分配规律5种集合式关系可以被进一步分为主要集合式关系和次要集合式关系。使用双因素方差分析法从被调研游客的人口统计学特征(性别、年龄、受教育程度、游览频率和已有感知程度)出发,针对集合式关系进行研究的结果进一步显示:游客对于5种集合式关系类别的感知具有差异性。本论文研究成果对于基于原真性视角下的世界遗产资源发展成效评判以及从游客原真性感知出发提出世界遗产资源发展未来策略均具有实际意义。陈享尔 蔡建明 杨振山 Natasha WEBSTER 2014Journal of Resources and Ecology2014,5,1:2
