2A complete sequence and comparative analysis of a SARS-associated virus(Isolate BJ01)显示文摘The genome sequence of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)-associated virus provides essential information for the identification of pathogen(s), exploration of etiology and evolution, interpretation of transmission and pathogenesis, development of diagnostics, prevention by future vaccination, and treatment by developing new drugs. We report the complete genome sequence and comparative analysis of an isolate (BJ01) of the coronavirus that has been recognized as a pathogen for SARS. The genome is 29725 nt in size and has 11 ORFs (Open Reading Frames). It is composed of a stable region encoding an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (composed of 2 ORFs) and a variable region representing 4 CDSs (coding sequences) for viral structural genes (the S, E, M, N proteins) and 5 PUPs (putative uncharacterized proteins). Its gene order is identical to that of other known coronaviruses. The sequence alignment with all known RNA viruses places this virus as a member in the family of Coronaviridae. Thirty putative substitutions have been identified by comparative analysis of the 5 SARS- associated virus genome sequences in GenBank. Fifteen of them lead to possible amino acid changes (non-synonymous mutations) in the proteins. Three amino acid changes, with predicted alteration of physical and chemical features, have been detected in the S protein that is postulated to beinvolved in the immunoreactions between the virus and its host. Two amino acid changes have been detected in the Mprotein, which could be related to viral envelope formation. Phylogenetic analysis suggests the possibility of non-human origin of the SARS-associated viruses but provides noevidence that they are man-made. 4中国麻阳河国家级自然保护区黑叶猴种群数量估计与分布显示文摘2012年10月至2015年5月,对中国贵州省麻阳河国家级自然保护区黑叶猴(Trachypithecus francoisi)的种群数量和分布进行了调查研究。本次调查采用了直接观察猴群计数、夜宿地观察、问卷调查和访问、未出版资料及文献补充4种调查方法。结果表明,麻阳河国家级自然保护区及周边共有黑叶猴72群(含保护区外2群)。基于直接计数的25个猴群,计算猴群平均大小为(7.7±2.9)只,并以此计算保护区及周边黑叶猴数量为554只。其中,凉桥片区共有41群,315只;龚溪口片区共有16群,123只;务川片区共有15群,116只。调查发现保护区黑叶猴的分布基本以麻阳河、洪渡河及其支流兰子河为中轴,以箱状河谷的峭壁上和河岸附近的植被区作为主要活动范围。67群猴群发现点位于离河流中轴线缓冲距1 500 m区域以内,占总群数的93.1%。因此,为了确保该物种的生存以及缓解当地人猴冲突,建议重点加强对河流两岸栖息地的保护管理和自然植被恢复,尤其在人口稠密区更为必要。牛克锋 肖志 王彬 杨德 Chia L Tan 张鹏 颜修刚 王华 余波 杨天友 樊均德 崔多英 邹启先 吴安康 魏鲁明 邹浩 Marco Gamba Cristina Giacoma 杨业勤 2016动物学杂志2016,51,6:10
5Polymorphisms of MTHFD,plasma homocysteine levels, and risk of gastric cancer in ahigh-risk Chinese population显示文摘Purpose:Accumulative evidence suggests that folate has a protective effect on gastric cancer. The methylenetetrahyd-rofolate dlehydrogenase(MTHFD) plays an important role in folate and homocysteine metabolisms, and polymorphisms of MTHFD may result in disturbance of the folate-mediated homocysteine pathway. The aim of this study is to test the hypothesis that genetic variants of MTHFD and plasma homocysteine levels are associated with risk of gastric cancer and modulated by genotypes of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR). Experimental Design: We genotyped G1958A and T401C in MTHFD and C677T in MTHFR and detected total plasma homocysteine(tHcy) levels in a case-control study of 589 gastric cancer cases and 635 cancer-free controls in a high-risk Chinese population. Results:The variant genotypes of MTHFD 1958AA and 401CC were associated with a significantly increased risk of gastric canceradjusted odds ratio(OR), 2.05; 95% confidence interval(95% CI),1.34-3.13 for 1958AA; adjusted OR,1.43; 95% CI,1.14-1.80 for 401CC compared with 1958GG/GA and 401TT/TC genotypes, respectively. Both of the effects were more evident in the subjects carrying MTHFR 677CT/TT genotypes. The average tHcy level was significantly higher in gastric cancer cases than in controls(P < 0.01), and the upper quartile of tHcy (> 13.6 mu mol/L) was associated with an 82% significantly increased risk of gastric cancer, compared with the lowest quartile of tHcy(<= 8.0 pmol/L;adjusted OR,1.82; 95% CI,1.20-2.75). Conclusions:The strong associations between MTHFD variants and the plasma tHcy levels and gastric cancer risk suggest, for the first time, a possible gene-environment interaction between genetic variants of folate-metabolizing genes and high tHcy levels in gastric carcinogenesis.Wang, L. 6Test selection and optimization for PHM based on failure evolution mechanism model显示文摘The test selection and optimization(TSO) can improve the abilities of fault diagnosis, prognosis and health-state evaluation for prognostics and health management(PHM) systems. Traditionally, TSO mainly focuses on fault detection and isolation, but they cannot provide an effective guide for the design for testability(DFT) to improve the PHM performance level. To solve the problem, a model of TSO for PHM systems is proposed. Firstly,through integrating the characteristics of fault severity and propagation time, and analyzing the test timing and sensitivity, a testability model based on failure evolution mechanism model(FEMM) for PHM systems is built up. This model describes the fault evolutiontest dependency using the fault-symptom parameter matrix and symptom parameter-test matrix. Secondly, a novel method of inherent testability analysis for PHM systems is developed based on the above information. Having completed the analysis, a TSO model, whose objective is to maximize fault trackability and minimize the test cost, is proposed through inherent testability analysis results, and an adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm(ASAGA) is introduced to solve the TSO problem. Finally, a case of a centrifugal pump system is used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed models and methods. 9Hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of beachbar sandstones in the southern slope of the Dongying Sag, Jiyang Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, China显示文摘A number of beach-bar sandstone reservoir beds are developed in the upper fourth member of the Eocene Shahejie Formation(Ess4) on the southern slope of the Dongying Sag. Based on the analysis of seismic and logging data, with characterization and petrographic studies of core and cutting samples, this paper analyzes the hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics in two typical blocks of the Boxing and Wangjiagang oilfields, especially reservoir bed heterogeneity and migration conditions that influence oil and gas distribution, calculates the index of reservoir bed quality(IRQ) with a mathematical method, and discusses the relationship between driving force and resistance of hydrocarbon accumulation. Taking into account the characteristics of thin interbeds in beach-bar sandstones, an experimental model simulated the characteristics of hydrocarbon migration and accumulation in thin interbedded sandstones with reservoir bed heterogeneity. The results showed that hydrocarbon distribution and properties were extremely non-uniform. Reservoir bed and migration conditions controlled hydrocarbon accumulation in beach-bar sandstones. IRQ is above 0.4 in the main hydrocarbon region. Sand body distribution, structural configuration and fault systems controlled the direction of regional migration and location of hydrocarbon accumulation. Simulation experiments indicated that the change of driving force for hydrocarbon migration affected selective accumulation mechanisms. Hydrocarbon moved vertically along fault zones to the reservoir and resulted in the distribution of hydrocarbon in the reservoir. Two kinds of hydrocarbon accumulation models exist in the study area. One is a hydrocarbon accumulation model controlled by reservoir bed heterogeneity and the second is a hydrocarbon accumulation model controlled by a complex migration system with faults connecting sandbodies. 11急性心肌缺血综合征中国地区现状调查显示文摘目的研究分析中国地区急性心肌缺血综合征病人的临床特点和治疗现状.方法此项研究为国际多中心关于急性心肌缺血综合征登记试验(OASIS)的一部分.采用填写加拿大心血管合作协会统一设计的病例记录表(CRF)的方法,自1999年4月开始,收集了各中心因急性心肌缺血入院病人的资料,记录了病人主要临床特征和院内事件.结果共注册急性心肌缺血综合征(包括不稳定心绞痛及非Q波心肌梗死)病人1509例,来自全国范围内34所医院.病人平均年龄62.3岁,其中男性62.2%,就诊时持续胸痛47.8%,心电图异常89.5%,入院诊断不稳定心绞痛91.3%,非Q波心肌梗死8.7%.住院期间溶栓3.3%,冠状动脉造影35.0%,经皮冠状动脉腔内成形术(PTCA)16.8%,冠状动脉旁路移植术(CABG)4.1%,应用硝酸酯制剂96.8%,抗血小板治疗95.5%.院内发生重要并发症18.8%,其中死亡1.2%,主要原因为严重心律失常或猝死.结论中国地区急性心肌缺血病人以不稳定心绞痛就诊居多.我国病人住院期间PTCA治疗率相对较高,CABG治疗率较低.院内死亡最主要的原因为严重心律失常或猝死. 12Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine in medical practice:a survey of community residents in Beijing,China显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate how community residents in Beijing understood and used Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in their medical practice.METHODS:This was a cross-sectional study conducted on 3410 community residents from four large communities of Tongzhou district in Beijng,China.A validated, self-administered questionnaire comprised of three sections was used to gather the data.A systematic sampling procedure was applied to recruit the community residents.RESULTS:A total of 3410 participants completed the questionnaire survey.It showed that in highly educated residents, 33.4%(170) knew of the names of 3-10 Chinese herbals, 35.8%(182) knew of names of 3-10 traditional Chinese patent drug.Among all the respondent residents, 80.7%(2753)believed that TCM herbal therapy and TCM non-drug treatments were effective in disease treatment, health enhancement, 85.7%(2923) had taken traditional Chinese patent drug in their life,56.8%(1937) of residents had used herbal decoction, 40.0%(1365) had received non-drug treatment of TCM, such as acupuncture, massage, cupping, auricular acupuncture.Among the elderly residents, 11.4%(98) often used Chinese patent drug and 9.8%(85) often used herbal decoction.In addition, 70.8%(2415) of residents were willing to accept knowledge and information on TCM for health enhancement and disease prevention, such as medicated diet, medicinal tea, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, although 82.8%(2825) of residents had never used them.CONCLUSION:Chinese patent drug and herbal decoction are widely used in the communities in Beijing, and there existed a possible close correlation between high educational level and better understanding of TCM.Age and occupation also correlated with the attitude to TCM therapies.The characteristics of the residents should be considered seriously in the course of promoting the understanding and application of TCM.Liu Zhongdi Huang Yunyu Cui Zhaoli Tan Yong Yang Jing Lü Aiping Wang Yaoxian Jiang Miao 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:3

14Conduit necrosis following esophagectomy: An up-to-date literature review显示文摘Esophageal conduit ischaemia and necrosis is an uncommon but devastating complication of esophagectomy and remains one of the most challenging issues in surgical practice. The incidence, time interval to develop symptoms, and clinical presentation are highly variable with no predictable pattern. Evidence comes from case reports and case series rather than randomized controlled trials.We describe the issues surrounding conduit necrosis affecting the stomach,jejunum and colon as an esophageal replacement and the advantages,disadvantages and challenges of each type of reconstruction. Diagnosis is challenging for the most experienced surgeon. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and computed tomography thorax with both oral and intravenous contrast is the gold standard. Management, either conservative or interventional is also a difficult decision. Management options include conservative treatment and more aggressive treatments such as stent insertion, surgical debridement and repair of the esophagus using jejunum, colon or a musculocutaneous flap. In spite of recent advances in surgical techniques, there is no reliable strategy to manage esophageal conduit necrosis. 19Ageing and Brugada syndrome: considerations and recommendations显示文摘Brugada syndrome is an inherited disease associated with an increased risk of lethal ventricular arrhythmias. Such arrhythmias stem from innate disruptions in cardiac electrophysiology. Typically, such arrhythmias occur in the third or fourth decade of life. However, Brugada syndrome may also affect geriatric patients. In this paper, we focus on the ageing patientwithBrugada syndrome, and specifically, on the interaction between Brugada syndrome and the more usually acquired clinical problems that may occur with increasing age, such as the use of cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular drugs, or the need for surgery. Such common conditionsmay also disrupt cardiac electrophysiology, thereby conferring added risk for Brugada syndrome patients.
