2Efficacy and safety of Yinchenwuling powder for hyperlipidemia: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the clinical effectiveness and adverse effects of Yinchenwuling powder(YCWLP)in the treatment of hyperlipidemia using Meta-analysis.METHODS:Seven electronic databases were searched for randomized controlled trials designed to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of YCWLP for hyperlipidemia published in any language prior to February 2015.Two reviewers independently identified articles,extracted data,assessed quality,and cross-checked the results.Revman 5.3 was used to analyze the data.RESULTS:Only five randomized controlled trials with poor methodology were included in the analy-sis.The five trials compared YCWLP with conventional lipid-lowering drugs.Meta-analysis indicated that YCWLP was more effective at the levels of total cholesterol and triglycerides,while increasing the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol without serious adverse effects.However,it was not more effective than lipid-lowering drugs in reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and improving hemorheology.CONCLUSION:YCWLP appeared to improve lipid levels.However,given the high risk of bias among the trials,we could not conclude that YCWLP was beneficial to patients with hyperlipidemia.More rigorous trials are required to provide stronger evidence for the conclusion.Yao Haiqiang Zhang Zengliang Wang Ji Zuo Jiacheng Chen Yu Zhu Libing Li Xiaoke Yang Zheng Wang Zisong Sun Ranran Xu Xuanxuan Li Changming Wu Yanling Li Lingru Wang Qi 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:11
3Exploration of Multifocal Rod Electroretinograms Recording in Human显示文摘Purpose:To test the feasibility of recording rod multifocal electroretinograms (ERG) in humans and observe appropriate recording conditions.Methods: Multifocal rod ERG were recorded using a stimulus array of 61 equalsized hexagons in two normal subjects after the dark adaptation. Flashes were blue (W47B). Blank frames between two successive flashes of hexagons varied from 0 to 14. Length of the m-sequence, bandwidth, flash frequency, flash intensities and background intensities were changed to obtain appropriate recording conditions for the clinical use.Results:Multifocal rod ERG were clearly recordable and well formed. They had an early implicit time, very small negative wave and a late implicit time, large positive wave. The positive wave was bimodal, whose timing and waveform were similar to the full-field rod ERG. 7Slr0151 in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 is required for efficient repair of photosystem Ⅱ under high-light condition显示文摘Cyanobacteria are ancient photosynthetic prokareyotes that have adapted successfully to adverse environments including high-light irradiation. Although it is known that the repair of photodamaged photosystem Ⅱ(PSⅡ) in the organisms is a highly regulated process, our knowledge of the molecular components that regulate each step of the process is limited.We have previously identified a hypothetical protein Slr0151 in the membrane fractions of cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp.PCC 6803. Here, we report that Slr0151 is involved in PSⅡ repair of the organism. We generated a mutant strain(Dslr0151)lacking the protein Slr0151 and analyzed its characteristics under normal and high-light conditions. Targeted deletion of slr0151 resulted in decreased PSⅡ activity in Synechocystis. Moreover,the mutant exhibited increased photoinhibition due to impairment of PSⅡ repair under high-light condition. Further analysis using in vivo radioactive labeling and 2-D blue native/sodium dodecylsulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis indicated that the PSⅡ repair cycle was hindered at the levels of D1 synthesis and disassembly and/or assembly of PSⅡ in the mutant. Protein interaction assays demonstrated that Slr0151 interacts with D1 and CP43 proteins. 9Nucleic acids analysis显示文摘Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic analysis.During the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological breakthroughs.In this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. 10Key nodes of the trust transitivity in social Internet of things显示文摘The trustee and the trustor may have no previous interaction. So,intermediate nodes trusted by both the trustor and the trustee are selected to transit trust between them. But only a few intermediate nodes are key nodes which can significantly affect the transitivity of trust. To the best of our knowledge,there are no algorithms for finding key nodes of the trust transitivity. To solve this problem,the concept of trust is presented,and a comprehensive model of the transitivity of trust is provided. Then,the key nodes search( KNS) algorithm is proposed to find out the key nodes of the trust transitivity. 11Identification and Expression Profile of a Neuropeptide LFRFamide-Like Gene During Different Stages of Gonadal Development in the Cephalopod Sepia pharaonis显示文摘Neuropeptides are widely distributed in vertebrates and invertebrates,regulating a variety of physiological activities in the organisms,such as metabolism,feeding and reproduction.In this study,to explore the function of neuropeptide LFRFamide in Sepia pharaonis,the full-length cDNA of LFRFamide-like gene(named SpLFRFL,MG869822.1)was identified with rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE)method.The sequence of SpLFRFL was 860 bp in length and encoded 188 amino acids containing 4 different mature peptides:1 copy of PHTPFRFamide,NSLFRFamide,TIFRFamide,and 3 copies of GNLFRFamide.Multiple alignment and phylogenetic analysis results showed that SpLFRFL shared high identity with LFRFamides of Sepia officinalis and Sepiella japonica and had the closest relationship with them.Through quantitative Real-time PCR(qRT-PCR),it was found that the SpLFRFL gene was highly expressed in the optic lobe and brain at three different stages during gonad development in both genders.Moreover,the four mature peptides at a concentration of 0.01μmol L^(−1) could inhibit the protein synthesis in the Chinese hamster ovary cell strain-K1(CHOK1)induced by SpGnRH.These data suggest that SpLFRFL might be involved in the development and reproduction of S.pharaonis.The results can contribute to future studies on neuropeptide evolution and function and benefit the cuttlefish farming.QIU Jiayin SUN Lianlian LI Shuang ZHOU Xu CHI Changfeng ZHENG Libing 2024Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,2:0
12A universal hydrochloric acid-assistant powder-to-powder strategy for quick and mass preparation of lead-free perovskite microcrystals显示文摘Lead-free halide perovskite materials possess low toxicity,broadband luminescence and robust stability compared with conventional lead-based perovskites,thus holding great promise for eyes-friendly white light LEDs.However,the traditionally used preparation methods with a long period and limited product yield have curtailed the commercialization of these materials.Here we introduce a universal hydrochloric acid-assistant powder-to-powder strategy which can accomplish the goals of thermal-,pressure-free,eco-friendliness,short time,low cost and high product yield,simultaneously.The obtained Cs_(2)Na_(0.9)Ag_(0.1)In_(0.95)Bi_(0.05)Cl_(6)microcrystals exhibit bright self-trapped excitons emission with quantum yield of(98.3±3.8)%,which could retain(90.5±1.3)%and(96.8±0.8)%after continuous heating or ultraviolet-irradiation for 1000 h,respectively.The phosphor converted-LED exhibited near-unity conversion efficiency from ultraviolet chip to self-trapped excitons emission at~200 mA.Various ions doping(such as Cs_(2)Na_(0.9)Ag_(0.1)InCl_(6):Ln^(3+))and other derived lead-free perovskite materials(such as Cs_(2)ZrCl_(6)and Cs_(4)MnBi_(2)Cl_(12))with high luminous performance are all realized by our proposed strategy,which has shown excellent availability towards commercialization.Huanxin Yang Xiangxiang Chen Yiyue Chu Changjiu Sun Haolin Lu Mingjian Yuan Yuhai Zhang Guankui Long Libing Zhang Xiyan Li 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,4:0

14Inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase activity improves lesion recovery following spinal cord injury显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI) is a devastating traumatic injury that causes persistent, severe motor and sensory dysfunction. Immune responses are involved in functional recovery after SCI. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation 1(MALT1) has been shown to regulate the survival and differentiation of immune cells and to play a critical role in many diseases, but its function in lesion recovery after SCI remains unclear. In this paper, we generated KI(knock in) mice with a point mutation(C472 G) in the active center of MALT1 and found that the KI mice exhibited improved functional recovery after SCI.Fewer macrophages were recruited to the injury site in KI mice and these macrophages differentiated into anti-inflammatory macrophages. Moreover, macrophages from KI mice exhibited reduced phosphorylation of p65, which in turn resulted in decreased SOCS3 expression and increased pSTAT6 levels.Similar results were obtained upon inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase with the small molecule inhibitor‘‘MI-2' or the more specific inhibitor ‘‘MLT-827'. In patients with SCI, peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) displayed increased MALT1 paracaspase. Human macrophages showed reduced proinflammatory and increased anti-inflammatory characteristics following the inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase. 15Long-term outcomes in COVID-19 patients who recovered from the first wave of the pandemic显示文摘This cross-sectional study evaluated the long-term health effects of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)in Jianghan District(Wuhan,China).The results showed that 61.4%of COVID-19 patients reported at least one symptom and 8.8%had depressive symptoms at the 17-month follow-up.The proportion of patients with chest radiographic abnormalities in Fangcang shelter hospitals and designated COVID-19hospitals was 31.6%and 41.1%,respectively,and the proportion of patients with impaired pulmonary diffusion capacity in these hospitals was 52.8%and 60.9%,respectively.Female sex(odds ratio[OR]=1.48,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.16–1.88),severe disease(OR=1.46,95%CI:1.01–2.10)and a higher number of initial symptoms(OR=1.31,95%CI:1.23–1.40)were associated with the development of sequelae symptoms at 17 months.This study involving community-dwelling COVID-19adults may help determine the long-term effects of COVID-19 during the first pandemic wave.Nonetheless,larger follow-up studies are needed to characterize the post-COVID-19 condition.Dan Cui Simiao Chen Luzhao Feng Mengmeng Jia Yeming Wang Weijun Xiao Yanxia Sun Qiangru Huang Libing Ma Zhiwei Leng Hao Wang Bin Cao Weizhong Yang Juntao Yang Chen Wang 2022National Science Review2022,9,11:0
16Identification of Germline Mutations in East‑Asian Young Never‑Smokers with Lung Adenocarcinoma by Whole‑Exome Sequencing显示文摘Recently,an increasing number of young never-smokers are diagnosed with lung cancer.The aim of this study is to investigate the genetic predisposition of lung cancer in these patients and discover candidate pathogenic variants for lung adenocarcinoma in young never-smokers.Peripheral blood was collected from 123 never-smoking east-Asian patients diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma before the age of 40.Whole-exome sequencing(WES)was conducted on genomic DNA extracted from peripheral blood cells.As a result,3,481 single nucleotide variants were identified.By bioinformatical tools and the published gene list associated with genetic predisposition of cancer,pathogenic variants were detected in ten germline genes:ATR,FANCD2,FANCE,GATA2,HFE,MSH2,PDGFRA,PMS2,SDHB,and WAS.Patients with pathogenic variants were more likely to occur in females(9/10,90.0%)and have stage IV lung adenocarcinoma(4/10,40%).Furthermore,germline muta-tions in 17 genes(ASB18,B3GALT5,CLEC4F,COL6A6,CYP4B1,C6orf132,EXO1,GATA4,HCK,KCP,NPHP4,PIGX,PPIL2,PPP1R3G,RRBP1,SALL4,and TTC28),which occurred in at least two patients,displayed potentially pathogenic effects.Gene ontology analysis further showed that these genes with germline mutations were mainly located in nucleo-plasm and associated with DNA repair-related biological processes.The study provides spectrum of pathogenic variants and functional explanation for genetic predisposition of lung adenocarcinoma in young never-smokers,which sheds a light on prevention and early diagnosis of lung cancer.Fangqiu Fu Xiaoting Tao Zhonglin Jiang Zhendong Gao Yue Zhao Yuan Li Hong Hu Libing Shen Yihua Sun Yang Zhang 2023Phenomics2023,3,2:0
17Accelerating hybrid and compact neural networks targeting perception and control domains with coarse-grained dataflow reconfiguration显示文摘Driven by continuous scaling of nanoscale semiconductor technologies,the past years have witnessed the progressive advancement of machine learning techniques and applications.Recently,dedicated machine learning accelerators,especially for neural networks,have attracted the research interests of computer architects and VLSI designers.State-of-the-art accelerators increase performance by deploying a huge amount of processing elements,however still face the issue of degraded resource utilization across hybrid and non-standard algorithmic kernels.In this work,we exploit the properties of important neural network kernels for both perception and control to propose a reconfigurable dataflow processor,which adjusts the patterns of data flowing,functionalities of processing elements and on-chip storages according to network kernels.In contrast to stateof-the-art fine-grained data flowing techniques,the proposed coarse-grained dataflow reconfiguration approach enables extensive sharing of computing and storage resources.Three hybrid networks for MobileNet,deep reinforcement learning and sequence classification are constructed and analyzed with customized instruction sets and toolchain.A test chip has been designed and fabricated under UMC 65 nm CMOS technology,with the measured power consumption of 7.51 mW under 100 MHz frequency on a die size of 1.8×1.8 mm^2.Zheng Wang Libing Zhou Wenting Xie Weiguang Chen Jinyuan Su Wenxuan Chen Anhua Du Shanliao Li Minglan Liang Yuejin Lin Wei Zhao Yanze Wu Tianfu Sun Wenqi Fang Zhibin Yu 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,2:0

19A Macular Hole in a Female Adult with Bilateral Coats Disease显示文摘Purpose: To report a case of a macular hole in a female adult with bilateral Coats disease.Methods:The fundus photograph, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) were performed in two eyes, and observed theirs characters.Results:Fundus photograph showed massive yellowish-white exudation in the temporal midperiphery of both eyes, but the degree was slighter in the right eye. There was 1/3 DD macular hole in left eye. FFA revealed general dilatation of capillaries, multiple aneurysms, and tortuous and closure of vessels in superotemporal midperiphery in both eyes, but the degree was slighter in the right eye. There was a one-third DD round transmitted fluorescence according the macula hole. ICGA revealed that hyperfluorescence of aneurysms in superotemporal midperiphery, the images of aneurysms were more clearly than in FFA. There was a 2/3 DD hypoflurescence of macula in the late phase of angiography.Conclusions: FFA and ICGA have respective advantage in revealing vascular abnormalities of Coats disease.
