2Efficacy and safety of Yinchenwuling powder for hyperlipidemia: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the clinical effectiveness and adverse effects of Yinchenwuling powder(YCWLP)in the treatment of hyperlipidemia using Meta-analysis.METHODS:Seven electronic databases were searched for randomized controlled trials designed to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of YCWLP for hyperlipidemia published in any language prior to February 2015.Two reviewers independently identified articles,extracted data,assessed quality,and cross-checked the results.Revman 5.3 was used to analyze the data.RESULTS:Only five randomized controlled trials with poor methodology were included in the analy-sis.The five trials compared YCWLP with conventional lipid-lowering drugs.Meta-analysis indicated that YCWLP was more effective at the levels of total cholesterol and triglycerides,while increasing the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol without serious adverse effects.However,it was not more effective than lipid-lowering drugs in reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and improving hemorheology.CONCLUSION:YCWLP appeared to improve lipid levels.However,given the high risk of bias among the trials,we could not conclude that YCWLP was beneficial to patients with hyperlipidemia.More rigorous trials are required to provide stronger evidence for the conclusion.Yao Haiqiang Zhang Zengliang Wang Ji Zuo Jiacheng Chen Yu Zhu Libing Li Xiaoke Yang Zheng Wang Zisong Sun Ranran Xu Xuanxuan Li Changming Wu Yanling Li Lingru Wang Qi 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:11
3A Scenario-Based Evaluation of COVID-19-Related Essential Clinical Resource Demands in China显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic is a global crisis,and medical systems in many countries are overwhelmed with supply shortages and increasing demands to treat patients due to the surge in cases and severe illnesses.This study aimed to assess COVID-19-related essential clinical resource demands in China,based on different scenarios involving COVID-19 spreads and interventions.We used a susceptible–exposed–infectious–hospitalized/isolated–removed(SEIHR)transmission dynamics model to estimate the number of COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations with corresponding essential healthcare resources needed.We found that,under strict non-pharmaceutical interventions(NPIs)or mass vaccination of the population,China would be able to contain community transmission and local outbreaks rapidly.However,under scenarios involving a low intensity of implemented NPIs and a small proportion of the population vaccinated,the use of a peacetime–wartime transition model would be needed for medical source stockpiles and preparations to ensure a normal functioning healthcare system.The implementation of COVID-19 vaccines and NPIs in different periods can influence the transmission of COVID-19 and subsequently affect the demand for clinical diagnosis and treatment.An increased proportion of asymptomatic infections in simulations will not reduce the demand for medical resources;however,attention must be paid to the increasing difficulty in containing COVID-19 transmission due to asymptomatic cases.This study provides evidence for emergency preparations and the adjustment of prevention and control strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic.It also provides guidance for essential healthcare investment and resource allocation.Ting Zhang Qing Wang Zhiwei Leng Yuan Yang Jin Yang Fangyuan Chen Mengmeng Jia Xingxing Zhang Weiran Qi Yunshao Xu Siya Chen Peixi Dai Libing Ma Luzhao Feng Weizhong Yang 2021Engineering2021,7,7:7

6A Joint Power and Bandwidth Allocation Method Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning for V2V Communications in 5G显示文摘Vehicular communications have recently attracted great interest due to their potential to improve the intelligence of the transportation system.When maintaining the high reliability and low latency in the vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)links as well as large capacity in the vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2I)links,it is essential to flexibility allocate the radio resource to satisfy the different requirements in the V2V communication.This paper proposes a new radio resources allocation system for V2V communications based on the proximal strategy optimization method.In this radio resources allocation framework,a vehicle or V2V link that is designed as an agent.And through interacting with the environment,it can learn the optimal policy based on the strategy gradient and make the decision to select the optimal sub-band and the transmitted power level.Because the proposed method can output continuous actions and multi-dimensional actions,it greatly reduces the implementation complexity of large-scale communication scenarios.The simulation results indicate that the allocation method proposed in this paper can meet the latency constraints and the requested capacity of V2V links under the premise of minimizing the interference to vehicle-to-infrastructure communications.Xin Hu Sujie Xu Libing Wang Yin Wang Zhijun Liu Lexi Xu You Li Weidong Wang 2021China Communications2021,18,7:1
7Decreased influenza vaccination coverage among Chinese healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic显示文摘Background:Healthcare workers(HCWs)were the priority group for influenza vaccination,in China during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 influenza seasons.However,vaccination rates in HCWs have always been low.This study investigated influenza vaccination status among Chinese HCWs and analyzed the factors driving vaccination.Methods:We provided electronic questionnaires to HCWs from January 27,2022 to February 21,2022,using the WeChat platform'Breath Circles'.HCWs who received the link could also forward it to their colleagues.Binary logistic regression models were used to analyze vaccination-associated factors among HCWs.Results:Among the 1697 HCWs surveyed,vaccination coverage was 43.7%(741/1697)during the 2020/2021 influenza season,and 35.4%(600/1697)during the 2021/2022 influenza season,as of February 21,2022.Additionally,22.7%(385/1697)and 22.1%(358/1697)of HCWs reported that their workplaces implemented a free vaccination policy for all employees during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 influenza seasons.HCWs who were required to be vaccinated according to hospital regulations,and whose hospitals implemented the free influenza vaccine policy were more likely to be vaccinated(2020/2021 and 2021/2022;P<0.05).In addition,the economic level of the HCWs'province(2021/2022,P<0.05)and the HCWs’knowledge about vaccination and willingness to get vaccinated,such as active learning about vaccines(2020/2021,P<0.05),supportive attitude toward vaccination for all HCWs(2020/2021 and 2021/2022;P<0.05),also had an impact on vaccine coverage.Conclusions:A free influenza vaccination policy and workplace required vaccination are effective in improving influenza vaccination coverage among HCWs.Influenza vaccination coverage of Chinese HCWs remained low and showed a downward trend after the COVID-19 outbreak.Further effective measures,such as advocacy campaigns,free vaccine policies,and on-site vaccination could be implemented to improve influenza vaccination coverage.Libing Ma Xuan Han Yuan Ma Yuan Yang Yunshao Xu Di Liu Weizhong Yang Luzhao Feng 2022Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,5:1

9Nucleic acids analysis显示文摘Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic analysis.During the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological breakthroughs.In this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. 12A novel blue-purple Ce^(3+) doped whitlockite phosphor:Synthesis,crystal structure,and photoluminescence properties显示文摘At present,the rare earth(RE) ions doped phosphors have attracted more and more attention because of their excellent properties.In this paper,a series of novel blue-purple β-Ca_(3)(PO_(4))_(2):Ce^(3+) phosphors were synthesized by a high temperature solid phase method.The X-ray diffraction(XRD),infrared spectrum,energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra were used to investigate the crystal structure,composition and the luminescent properties of the resulting samples.The phosphor shows a strong absorption in the ultraviolet band.Under the excitation of 269 nm,the phosphor emits a strong purple fluorescence ranging from 360 to 520 nm.When Ce^(3+) doping content is 0.07 mol,the strongest luminescence intensity is reached,and the concentration quenching mechanism is dipole-dipole(d-d)interaction for Ce^(3+) based on Dexter theory.Yuli Yuan Haoran Lin Jing'ao Cao Qingfeng Guo Fei Xu Libing Liao Lefu Mei 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:1
13The potential for biochar application in rubber plantations in Xishuangbanna,Southwest China:a pot trial显示文摘Biochar can enhance crop production and sequester carbon,but there have been few studies with tree crops.Rubber plantations cover more than 8 million hectares in Southeast Asia,so we assessed the feasibility of biochar application in these plantations with a pot trial.Rubber seedlings were planted in soil with four concentrations(0,1.25%,2.5% and 5%,w/w)of biochar combined with two concentrations of compound fertilizer(0 kg/ha and 300 kg/ha).Soil properties and seedling growth were measured,and a leaching experiment was conducted in the rainy season.Our results show that biochar increased pH,water content(27.4-65.1%),total carbon(25.4-53.6%),nitrate nitrogen,and available phosphorus in the soil,and decreased bulk density(3.2-23.9%).Biochar treatment reduced leaching of ammonium nitrogen and ortho-P.Biochar increased seedling nutrient uptake(C,N,P and K),with 2.5% and 5% biochar showing the largest effects,but seedling biomass was the highest with 1.25%,and declined in 2.5% and 5%.Our results suggest that biochar addition is an effective way to improve rubber plantation soils,sequester more carbon and decrease nutrient leaching,but the optimum application rate under field conditions needs further research.Libing Pan Fanzhen Xu Huizhu Mo Richard T.Corlett Liqing Sha 2021Biochar2021,3,1:0
14Identification and Expression Profile of a Neuropeptide LFRFamide-Like Gene During Different Stages of Gonadal Development in the Cephalopod Sepia pharaonis显示文摘Neuropeptides are widely distributed in vertebrates and invertebrates,regulating a variety of physiological activities in the organisms,such as metabolism,feeding and reproduction.In this study,to explore the function of neuropeptide LFRFamide in Sepia pharaonis,the full-length cDNA of LFRFamide-like gene(named SpLFRFL,MG869822.1)was identified with rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE)method.The sequence of SpLFRFL was 860 bp in length and encoded 188 amino acids containing 4 different mature peptides:1 copy of PHTPFRFamide,NSLFRFamide,TIFRFamide,and 3 copies of GNLFRFamide.Multiple alignment and phylogenetic analysis results showed that SpLFRFL shared high identity with LFRFamides of Sepia officinalis and Sepiella japonica and had the closest relationship with them.Through quantitative Real-time PCR(qRT-PCR),it was found that the SpLFRFL gene was highly expressed in the optic lobe and brain at three different stages during gonad development in both genders.Moreover,the four mature peptides at a concentration of 0.01μmol L^(−1) could inhibit the protein synthesis in the Chinese hamster ovary cell strain-K1(CHOK1)induced by SpGnRH.These data suggest that SpLFRFL might be involved in the development and reproduction of S.pharaonis.The results can contribute to future studies on neuropeptide evolution and function and benefit the cuttlefish farming.QIU Jiayin SUN Lianlian LI Shuang ZHOU Xu CHI Changfeng ZHENG Libing 2024Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,2:0
15Temperature distribution of fluids in a two-section two-phase closed thermosyphon wellbore显示文摘Compared with a conventional single section two-phase closed thermosyphon(TPCT) wellbore, a two-section TPCT wellbore has better heat transfer performance, which may improve the temperature distribution of fluid in wellbores, increase the temperature of fluid in wellheads and even more effectively reduce the failure rate of conventional TPCT wellbores. Heat transfer performance of two-section TPCT wellbores is affected by working medium, combination mode and oil flow rate. Different working media are introduced into the upper and lower TPCTs, which may achieve a better match between the working medium and the temperature field in the wellbores. Interdependence exists between the combination mode and the flow rate of the oil, which affects the heat transfer performance of a two-section TPCT wellbore. 18Monte Carlo performance study of virtual high performance computing cluster over cloud显示文摘Objective:As a high computation cost discipline,nuclear science and engineering still relies heavily on traditional high performance computing(HPC)clusters.However,the usage of traditional HPC for nuclear science and engineering has been limited due to the poor flexibility,the software compatibility and the poor user interfaces.Virtualized/virtual HPC(vHPC)can mimic an HPC by using a cloud computing platform.In this work,we designed and developed a vHPC system for employment in nuclear engineering.Methods:The system is tested using the computation of the numberπby Monte Carlo and an X-ray digital imaging system simulation.The performance of the vHPC system is compared with that of the traditional HPCs.Results:As the number of the simulated particles increases,the virtual cluster computing time grows propor-tionally.The time used for the simulation of the X-ray imaging was about 21.1 h over a 12 kernels virtual server.Experimental results show that the performance of virtual cluster computing and the actual physical machine is almost the same.Conclusions:From these tests,it is concluded that vHPC is a good alternative for employing in nuclear engineering.The proposed vHPC in this paper will make HPC flexible and easy to deploy.Libing Zhu Ze Xi Peng Cong Gongyi Yu Yuan Liu Xincheng Xiang Wei Xu Xiangang Wang 2022Radiation Medicine and Protection2022,3,3:0
19Effects of Microbial Fertilizers in Improving Acidic Tobacco-planting Soil and Tobacco Leaf Quality显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve acidic soil and enhance the quality of tobacco leaves.[Methods]The effects of different microbial fertilizers on improving acidic tobacco-planting soil and tobacco leaf quality were investigated through plot experiments.[Results]The application of microbial fertilizers could improve the pH value of acidic soil,and composite microbial agent A showed the best application effect.The application of bio-organic fertilizer was beneficial to improving the contents of available phosphorus and available boron in acidic soil.The application of composite microbial agent A was beneficial to improving the contents of available phosphorus and available potassium in acidic soil,and could promote the growth of tobacco plants and improve the economic traits of flue-cured tobacco and the coordination of chemical components in tobacco leaves.The application of composite microbial agent B led to a downward trend in the content of available boron in acidic soil.The application of composite microbial agent B could promote the absorption of nutrients by tobacco plants,and improve their disease resistance and the quality of tobacco leaves.Due to the differences in functional microorganisms contained,the application effects of different microbial fertilizers in improving acidic tobacco-planting soil and improving tobacco leaf quality varied.Overall,the application of microbial fertilizers could increase soil pH,activate soil nutrients,promote tobacco growth,enhance disease resistance,increase tobacco output value,and improve tobacco quality.Microbial fertilizers have good application prospects in improving acidic soil and improving tobacco quality.[Conclusions]The application of microbial fertilizers to improve acidic tobacco-planting soil can ensure the normal growth and development of tobacco plants and the improvement of tobacco leaf quality,achieving high-quality and sustainable development of Zhaotong tobacco.Xia NI Shungang SHEN Xianyi ZENG Dewen LI Yeming FU Min CHEN Chaokai YU Libing QI Ying-guo RUAN Changchong ZI Haohan GONG Guangjun HU Mengsheng ZHANG Xu ZHANG Shu PENG Hongbing LI 2023Agricultural Biotechnology2023,12,2:0
20Motor neuron-specific RhoA knockout delays degeneration and promotes regeneration of dendrites in spinal ventral horn after brachial plexus injury显示文摘Dendrites play irreplaceable roles in the nerve conduction pathway and are vulnerable to various insults.Peripheral axotomy of motor neurons results in the retraction of dendritic arbors,and the dendritic arbor can be re-expanded when reinnervation is allowed.RhoA is a target that regulates the cytoskeleton and promotes neuronal survival and axon regeneration.However,the role of RhoA in dendrite degeneration and regeneration is unknown.In this study,we explored the potential role of RhoA in dendrites.A line of motor neuronal conditional knockout mice was developed by crossbreeding HB9~(Cre+)mice with RhoA~(flox/flox)mice.We established two models for assaying dendrite degeneration and regeneration,in which the brachial plexus was transection or crush injured,respectively.We found that at 28 days after brachial plexus transection,the density,complexity,and structural integrity of dendrites in the ventral horn of the spinal cord of RhoA conditional knockout mice were slightly decreased compared with that in Cre mice.Dendrites underwent degeneration at 7 and 14 days after brachial plexus transection and recovered at 28–56 days.The density,complexity,and structural integrity of dendrites in the ventral horn of the spinal cord of RhoA conditional knockout mice recovered compared with results in Cre mice.These findings suggest that RhoA knockout in motor neurons attenuates dendrite degeneration and promotes dendrite regeneration after peripheral nerve injury.Mi Li Jiawei Xu Ying Zou Jialing Lu Aiyue Ou Xinrui Ma Jiaqi Zhang Yizhou Xu Lanya Fu Jingmin Liu Xianghai Wang Libing Zhou Jiasong Guo 2023Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,12:0
