| 1 | Five-year plans, China finance and their consequences显示文摘An important factor influencing corporate finance and economic growth in China lies in its government sponsored industrial policies. Examining China's five-year plans during 1991–2010, we find that state-owned firms in government supported industries enjoy faster growth in initial public offerings and higher offer prices. Further, they enjoy faster growth in loans granted by major national banks. However, this preferential access to capital by state-owned firms appears to be achieved at the expense of non-state-owned firms which are crowded out. | 6 | Effects of Short-Term Forest Bathing on Human Health in a Broad-Leaved Evergreen Forest in Zhejiang Province,China显示文摘Objective To investigate the effects of short-term forest bathing on human health.Methods Twenty healthy male university students participated as subjects and were randomly divided into two groups of 10.One group was sent on a two-night trip to a broad-leaved evergreen forest,and the other was sent to a city area.Serum cytokine levels reflecting inflammatory and stress response,indicators reflecting oxidative stress,the distribution of leukocyte subsets,and plasma endothelin-1 (ET-1) concentrations were measured before and after the experiment to evaluate the positive health effects of forest environments.A profile of mood states (POMS) evaluation was used to assess changes in mood states.Results No significant differences in the baseline values of the indicators were observed between the two groups before the experiment.Subjects exposed to the forest environment showed reduced oxidative stress and pro-inflammatory level,as evidenced by decreased malondialdehyde,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor α levels compared with the urban group.Serum cortisol levels were also lower than in the urban group.Notably,the concentration of plasma ET-1 was much lower in subjects exposed to the forest environment.The POMS evaluation showed that after exposure to the forest environment,subjects had lower scores in the negative subscales,and the score for vigor was increased.Conclusion Forest bathing is beneficial to human health,perhaps through preventive effects related to several pathological factors. | MAO Gen Xiang LAN Xiao Guang CAO Yong Bao CHEN Zhuo Mei HE Zhi Huat LV Yuan Dong WANG Ya Zhen HU Xi Lian WANG Guo Fu YAN Jing | 2012 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,3: | 20 |
| 7 | Histological Subtypes of Lung Cancer in Chinese Males from 2000 to 2012显示文摘Objective To characterize the histological and epidemiological features of male lung cancer patients in China. Methods The demographic and histological information about male lung cancer patients identified from 2000-01-01 to 2012-12-31,was collected from the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Relative frequencies(RF) were estimated for major histological subtypes and compared according to the years of diagnosis and birth. Results The RF of adenocarcinoma(ADC) increased from 21.96% to 43.36% and the RF of squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) decreased from 39.11% to 32.23% from 2000 to 2012 in the 15 427 male lung cancer patients included in this study(Z=17.909,P<0.0001; Z=-6.117,P<0.0001). The RF of ADC increased from 28.72% in 2000-2004,36.88% in 2005-2008 to 48.61% in 2009-2012 in patients born after 1960. The age-adjusted RF of ADC in 2007-2012 increased consistently in all the investigated areas. Conclusion The increased RF of ADC in male lung cancer patients highlights the need for further investigation of the etiologic factors of these tumors. | 8 | miR-30b inhibits autophagy to alleviate hepatic ischemiareperfusion injury via decreasing the Atg12-Atg5 conjugate显示文摘AIM: To explore the role and potential mechanism of miR-30 b regulation of autophagy in hepatic ischemiareperfusion injury(IRI).METHODS: An animal model of hepatic IRI was generated in C57BL/6 mice. For in vitro studies, AML12 cells were immersed in mineral oil for 1 h and then cultured in complete Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium(DMEM)/F12 to simulate IRI. Mice and cells were transfected with miR-30 b agomir/mimics or antagomir/inhibitor to examine the effect of miR-30 b on autophagy to promote hepatic IRI. The expression of miR-30 b was measured by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Apoptotic cells were detected by terminal uridine nickend labeling(TUNEL) staining, and cell viability was detected by methylthiazole tetrazolium assay. The expression of light chain 3, autophagy-related gene(Atg)12, Atg5, P62, and caspase-3 were detected by western blotting analysis.RESULTS: miR-30 b levels were significantly downregulated after hepatic IRI, and the numbers of autophagosomes were increased in response to IRI both in vivo and in vitro. These findings demonstrate that low levels of miR-30 b could promote hepatic IRI. Furthermore, we found that miR-30 b interacted with Atg12-Atg5 conjugate by binding to Atg12. Overexpression of miR-30 b diminished Atg12 and Atg12-Atg5 conjugate levels, which promoted autophagy in response to IR. | 10 | Ti/(Ti,Cr)N/CrN multilayer coated 316L stainless steel by arc ion plating as bipolar plates for proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘Arc ion plating(AIP) is applied to form Ti/(Ti,Cr)N/Cr N multilayer coating on the surface of 316 L stainless steel(SS316L) as bipolar plates for proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs). The characterizations of the coating are analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Interfacial contact resistance(ICR) between the coated sample and carbon paper is 4.9 m cm^2 under 150 N/cm^2,which is much lower than that of the SS316 L substrate. Potentiodynamic and potentiostatic tests are performed in the simulated PEMFC working conditions to investigate the corrosion behaviors of the coated sample. Superior anticorrosion performance is observed for the coated sample, whose corrosion current density is 0.12 μA/cm2. Surface morphology results after corrosion tests indicate that the substrate is well protected by the multilayer coating. | 17 | New Vegetation Index and Its Application in Estimating Leaf Area Index of Rice显示文摘Leaf area index (LAI) is an important characteristic of land surface vegetation system, and is also a key parameter for the models of global water balancing and carbon circulation. By using the reflectance values of Landsat-5 blue, green and red channels simulated from rice reflectance spectrum, the sensitivities of the bands to LAI were analyzed, and the response and capability to estimate LAI of various NDVIs (normalized difference vegetation indices), which were established by substituting the red band of general NDVI with all possible combinations of red, green and blue bands, were assessed. Finally, the conclusion was tested by rice data at different conditions. The sensitivities of red, green and blue bands to LAI were different under various conditions. When LAI was less than 3, red and blue bands were more sensitive to LAI. Though green band in the circumstances was less sensitive to LAI than red and blue bands, it was sensitive to LAI in a wider range. When the vegetation indices were constituted by all kinds of combinations of red, green and blue bands, the premise for making the sensitivity of these vegetation indices to LAI be meaningful was that the value of one of the combinations was greater than 0.024, i.e. visible reflectance (VIS)>0.024. Otherwise, the vegetation indices would be saturated, resulting in lower estimation accuracy of LAI. Comparison on the capabilities of the vegetation indices derived from all kinds of combinations of red, green and blue bands to LAI estimation showed that GNDVI (Green NDVI) and GBNDVI (Green-Blue NDVI) had the best relations with LAI. The capabilities of GNDVI and GBNDVI to LAI estimation were tested under different circumstances, and the same result was acquired. | 20 | 河南省两株狂犬病毒核蛋白和糖蛋白基因的序列分析显示文摘目的分析河南省2株狂犬病毒核蛋白及糖蛋白的基因序列,了解狂犬病毒街毒株与人用及兽用狂犬病疫苗株间的差异。方法以免疫荧光法检测2004年采自河南省的100只犬脑标本,取阳性犬脑组织悬液接种鼠脑分离病毒。以RT-PCR法扩增病毒核蛋白及糖蛋白全基因,克隆测序后进行遗传学分析。结果分离到2株狂犬病毒,分别命名为Henan Hb1与Henan Sq1,序列分析表明2株病毒均为基因1型狂犬病毒,2株病毒的N基因与G基因核苷酸的同源性分别为99.3%和98.9%,氨基酸的同源性分别为98.7%和98.4%。2株病毒与CTN疫苗株同源性较高,N基因与G基因的核苷酸同源性分别为89.1%和85.6%~85.7%,氨基酸同源性分别为97.6%~98.0%和92.3%。与已知的基因1型狂犬病毒相比,2株病毒与印度尼西亚从犬中分离到的2株病毒同源性最高,N基因与G基因核苷酸同源性分别为92.1%~93.2%和91.9%~92.1%,氨基酸同源性分别为97.5%~98.6%和96.0%~96.2%。Henan Sq1株病毒在糖蛋白关键的毒力位点333位由W替换了R。系统发育分析表明Henan Hb1与Henan Sq1与印度尼西亚株、疫苗株CTN、中国分离株,以及泰国与马来西亚分离株进化关系最近,而与疫苗株3aG、PV、ERA及攻击毒CVS株等进化关系较远。结论2株狂犬病毒是基因1型狂犬病毒,但无论是N基因还是G基因的核苷酸序列,以及推导出来的氨基酸序列与已知的1型狂犬病毒株及疫苗株均有一定的差异。 | 熊成龙 郝宗宇 卢思奇 李明慧 王海峰 孙建伟 张彦平 Zhen F.
