| 2 | 复合图书馆的文献提供(英文)显示文摘图书馆的基本职能是在用户和信息之间提供界面。与传统图书馆相比 ,复合图书馆的文献提供可谓既便捷又复杂。本文在参考英美图书馆文献的基础上 ,着重讨论文献采购方针、电子馆藏及其与印刷馆藏的平衡、馆藏拥有与获取的平衡、绩效评估在复合图书馆文献建设中的作用。大多数图书馆都要面对远远超过其文献保障能力的用户需求 ,所以必须具有能帮助馆员分清轻重缓急的文献采购方针 ,这样的方针必须体现图书馆与其母体机构 (资助者 )的共识。采购方针不仅需要确定用户需求的优先次序 (如对教学参考书的需求和对研究文献的需求 ) ,还需要确定语种、专业的优先次序等。采购方针还经常需要辅以更具操作性的预算计算公式。电子资源正在成为重要的馆藏。随着电子资源的普及 ,同一份文献经常拥有不同的形态 :印刷式、CD -ROM、互联网形式、联机形式。在不同形式之间做出选择已经变得越来越复杂。选择馆藏形式的决定需要考虑到以下因素 :使用频率、用户数量、检索设施要求、捆绑购买限制、长期保存的需要、打印需要、成本。馆藏质量要在经常的绩效评估中得到改进。与馆藏质量相关的基本绩效指标包括 :人均文献经费、文献经费占总经费的比例、人均文献增长数量、人均借阅率、文献流通率、借阅文献的比例。 | David Spiller | 2003 | 津图学刊2003，，4： | 3 |
