Human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell therapy in patients with COVID-19:a phase 1 clinical trial显示文摘No effective drug treatments are available for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Host-directed therapies targeting the underlying aberrant immune responses leading to pulmonary tissue damage, death,or long-term functional disability in survivors require clinical evaluation. We performed a parallel assigned controlled,non-randomized,phase 1 clinical trial to evaluate the safety of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells(UC-MSCs)infusions in the treatment of patients with moderate and severe COVID-19 pulmonary disease. The study enrolled 18 hospitalized patients with COVID-19(n=9 for each group). The treatment group received three cycles of intravenous infusion of UC-MSCs(3×107 cells per infusion)on days 0,3,and 6.Both groups received standard COVID-treatment regimens.Adverse events, duration of clinical symptoms, laboratory parameters, length of hospitalization, serial chest computed tomography(CT)images, the PaO2/FiO2 ratio, dynamics of cytokines, and IgG and IgM anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies were analyzed. No serious UC-MSCs infusion-associated adverse events were observed. Two patients receiving UC-MSCs developed transient facial flushing and fever, and one patient developed transient hypoxia at 12 h post UC-MSCs transfusion.Mechanical ventilation was required in one patient in the treatment group compared with four in the control group. All patients recovered and were discharged. Our data show that intravenous UC-MSCs infusion in patients with moderate and severe COVID-19 is safe and well tolerated.Phase 2/3 randomized,controlled,double-blinded trials with long-term follow-up are needed to evaluate the therapeutic use of UC-MSCs to reduce deaths and improve long-term treatment outcomes in patients with serious COVID-19. | Fanping Meng Ruonan Xu Siyu Wang Zhe Xu Chao Zhang Yuanyuan Li Tao Yang Lei Shi Junliang Fu Tianjun Jiang Lei Huang Peng Zhao Xin Yuan Xing Fan Ji-Yuan Zhang Jinwen Song Dawei Zhang Yanmei Jiao Limin Liu Chunbao Zhou Markus Maeurer Alimuddin Zumla Ming Shi Fu-Sheng Wang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 16
Hanning self-convolution window and its application to harmonic analysis显示文摘The Hanning self-convolution window (HSCW) is proposed in this paper. And the phase difference correction algorithm based on the discrete spectrum and the HSCW is given. The HSCW has a low peak side lobe level, a high side lobe roll-off rate, and a simple spectrum representation. Hence, leakage errors and harmonic interferences can be considerably reduced by weighting samples with the HSCW, the parameter estimation by the HSCW-based phase difference correction algorithm is free of solving high order equations, and the overall method can be easily implemented in embedded systems. Simulation and application results show that the HSCW-based phase difference correction algorithm can suppress the impacts of fundamental frequency fluctuation and white noise on harmonic parameter estimation, and the HSCW is advantageous over existing combined cosine windows in terms of harmonic analysis performance. | WEN He TENG ZhaoSheng GUO SiYu WANG JingXun YANG BuMing WANG Yi CHEN Tao | 2009 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,2: | 15
Effect of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells on lung damage in severe COVID-19 patients:a randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled phase 2 trial显示文摘Treatment of severe Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)is challenging. We performed a phase 2 trial to assess the efficacy andsafety of human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells(UC-MScs)to treat severe coViD-19 patients with lung damage, based onour phase 1 data.In this randomized,double-blind,and placebo-controlled trial,we recruited 101 severe coVID-19 patients withlung damage. They were randomly assigned at a 2:1 ratio to receive either UC-MSCs(4×10^(7)cells per infusion)or placebo on day 0,3,and 6.The primary endpoint was an altered proportion of whole lung lesion volumes from baseline to day 28.Other imagingoutcomes,6-minute walk test(6-MWT),maximum vital capacity, diffusing capacity, and adverse events were recorded and analyzed. In all,100 COVID-19 patients were finally received either UC-MSCs in=65)or placebo(n=35).UC-MSCs administrationexerted numerical improvement in whole lung lesion volume from baseline to day 28 compared with the placebo(the mediandifference was-13.31%,95%Cl-29.14%,2.13%,P=0.08).UC-MSCs significanty reduced the proportions of solid componentlesion volume compared with the placebo(median difference:-15.45%;95%CI-30.82%,-0.39%;P=0.043).The 6-MWT showedan increased distance in patients treated with UC-MSCs(difference:27.00 m;95%CI 0.00,57.00;P=0.057).The incidence of adverseevents was similar in the two groups. These results suggest that UC-MSCs treatment is a safe and potentially effective therapeuticapproach for COVID-19 patients with lung damage.A phase 3 trial is required to evaluate effects on reducing mortality andpreventing long-term pulmonary disability. | Lei Shi Hai Huang Xuechun Lu Xiaoyan Yan Xiaojing Jiang Ruonan Xu Siyu Wang Chao Zhang Xin Yuan Zhe Xu Lei Huang Jun-Liang Fu Yuanyuan Li Yu Zhang Wei-Qi Yao Tianyi Liu Jinwen Song Liangliang Sun Fan Yang Xin Zhang Bo Zhang Ming Shi Fanping Meng Yanning Song Yongpei Yu Jiqiu Wen Qi Li Qing Mao Markus Maeurer Alimuddin Zumla Chen Yao Wei-Fen Xie Fu-Sheng Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,3: | 13
Defined tumor antigen-specific T cells potentiate personalized TCR-T cell therapy and prediction of immunotherapy response显示文摘Personalized immunotherapy targeting tumor-specific antigens(TSAs)could generate efficient and safe antitumor immune response without damaging normal tissues.Although neoantigen vaccines have shown therapeutic effect in clinic trials, precise prediction of neoantigens from tumor mutations is still challenging. The host antitumor immune response selects and activates T cells recognizing tumor antigens.Hence,T cells engineered with T-cell receptors(TCRs)from these naturally occurring tumor antigen-specific T(Tas)cells in a patient will target personal TSAs in his/her tumor. To establish such a personalized TCR-T cell therapy,we comprehensively characterized T cells in tumor and its adjacent tissues by single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq),TCR sequencing(TCR-seq)and in vitro neoantigen stimulation.Compared to bystander T cells circulating among tissues,Tas cells were characterized by tumor enrichment,tumor-specific clonal expansion and neoantigen specificity. We found that CXCL13 is a unique marker for both CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)Tas cells.Importantly,TCR-T cells expressing TCRs from Tas cells showed significant therapeutic effects on autologous patient-derived xenograft(PDX)tumors.Intratumoral Tas cell levels measured by CXCL13 expression precisely predicted the response to immune checkpoint blockade, indicating a critical role of Tas cells in the antitumor immunity. We further identified CD200 and ENTPD1 as surface markers for CD4^(^(+))and CD8^(^(+))Tas cells respectively, which enabled the isolation of Tas cells from tumor by Fluorescence Activating Cell Sorter(FACS)sorting.Overall, our results suggest that TCR-T cells engineered with Tas TCRs are a promising agent for personalized immunotherapy, and intratumoral Tas cell levels determine the response to immunotherapy. | Jingjing He Xinxin Xiong Han Yang Dandan Li Xuefei Liu Shuo Li Shuangye Liao Siyu Chen Xizhi Wen Kuai Yu Lingyi Fu Xingjun Dong Kaiyu Zhu Xiaojun Xia Tiebang Kang Chaochao Bian Xiang Li Haiping Liu Peirong Ding Xiaoshi Zhang Zhenjiang Liu Wende Li Zhixiang Zuo Penghui Zhou | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,6: | 10
S and Pb Isotopic Constraints on the Relationship between the Linong Granodiorite and the Yangla Copper Deposit,Yunnan,China显示文摘The Yangla copper deposit, located in western Yunnan Province, China, is a typical giant, newly started mining copper deposit with an estimated Cu reserves of about 1,200,000 tons. The deposit is spatially and temporally associated with the Linong granodiorite, which is rich in SiO2 (SiO2=58.25 wt%-69.84 wt%) and alkalis (Na2O+K2O=5.98 wt%-8.34 wt%), indicating an association with shoshonitic series to high-K calc-alkaline series granites, and shows low contents of TiO2 (0.35 wt%-0.48 wt%), MgO (1.51 wt%-1.72 wt%), and Al2O3 (13.38 wt%-19.75 wt%). The δ34S values of sulfides of the main ore stage from copper ores vary range from ?4.2‰ to ?0.9‰, indicating a much greater contribution from the mantle to the ore-forming fluids. The δ34S values of the late ore stage is 9.8‰, indicating enrichment of biogenic sulfur which may derive from the crustal hydrothermal fluid. The 208Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb and 206Pb/204Pb of sulfides of the main ore stage from copper ores range within 38.66-38.73, 15.71-15.74 and 18.35-19.04, respectively, implying that the Pb was derived from the mantle, with the crustal component, probably representing mixtures of mantle lead and crustal lead. Sulfide of the late ore stage in their Pb isotopic composition, 208Pb/204Pb= 38.69, 207Pb/204Pb=15.70, 206Pb/204Pb=18.35, implying that the Pb was derived from the crust. The Linong granodiorite is syn-collisional, produced by partial melting of thickened lower crust, which was triggered by the westward subduction of the Jinshajiang Oceanic plate. During a transition in geodynamic setting from collision-related compression to extension, gently dipping ductile shear zones (related to subduction) were transformed to brittle shear zones, consisting of a series of thrust faults in the Jinshajiang tectonic belt. The tensional thrust faults would have been a favorable environment for ore-forming fluids. The ascending magma provided a channel for the ore-forming fluid from the mantle wedge. After the magma arrived at the base of the early-stage Linong granodiorite, the platy granodiorite at the base of the body would have shielded the late-stage magma from the fluid. The magma would have cooled slowly, and some of the ore-forming fluid in the magma would have entered the gently dipping thrust faults near the Linong granodiorite, resulting in mineralization. | YANG Xi'an LIU Jiajun HAN Siyu WANG Huan CHEN Siyao | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,6: | 9
Near-infrared emissive carbon dots with 33.96% emission in aqueous solution for cellular sensing and light-emitting diodes显示文摘Near-infrared emissive carbon dots(CDs) were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The as-prepared CDs exhibited a relatively high quantum yield(QY) of 33.96% in an aqueous solution, and the peak toward the near-infrared fluorescence reached 685 nm. The CDs exhibited pH-sensitive characteristics under strong acidic conditions. Even at pH = 0, the as-prepared CDs retained a high fluorescence intensity, which proved that they possessed good acid resistance. More importantly, the CDs were sensitive to the Fe3+changes in living cells. In addition, they could also be used for white and red emissive LEDs.This discovery will expand the use of aqueous-phase high QY CDs in the field of living cell sensing and imaging. | Boyang Wang Jian Li Zhiyong Tang Bai Yang Siyu Lu | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,17: | 9
Dual-comb spectroscopy resolved three-degreeof-freedom sensing显示文摘Precise and fast determination of position and orientation, which is normally achieved by distance and angle measurements, has broad applications in academia and industry. We propose a dynamic three-degree-of-freedom measurement technique based on dual-comb interferometry and a self-designed grating-corner-cube(GCC) combined sensor. Benefiting from its unique combination of diffraction and reflection characteristics, the absolute distance, pitch, and yaw of the GCC sensor can be determined simultaneously by resolving the phase spectra of the corresponding diffracted beams. We experimentally demonstrate that the method exhibits a ranging precision(Allan deviation) of 13.7 nm and an angular precision of 0.088 arcsec, alongside a 1 ms reaction time. The proposed technique is capable of precise and fast measurement of distances and two-dimensional angles over long stand-off distances. A system with such an overall performance may be potentially applied to space missions, including in tight formation-flying satellites, for spacecraft rendezvous and docking, and for antenna measurement as well as the precise manufacture of components including lithography machines and aircraftmanufacturing devices. | SIYU ZHOU VUNAM LE SHILIN XIONG YUETANG YANG KAI NI QIAN ZHOU GUANHAO WU | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,2: | 8
Multi-omics analyses of 398 foxtail millet accessions reveal genomic regions associated with domestication, metabolite traits, and antiinflammatory effects显示文摘Foxtail millet(Setaria italica),which was domesticatedfromthewild speciesgreenfoxtail(Setaria viridis),isa richsource of phytonutrientsfor humans. To evaluate how breeding changed themetabolome offoxtail millet grains,we generated and analyzed the datasets encompassing the genomes, transcriptomes, metabolomes, and anti-inflammatory indices from 398 foxtail millet accessions. We identified hundreds of common variants that influence numerous secondary metabolites. We observed tremendous differences in natural variations of the metabolites and their underlying genetic architectures between distinct sub-groups of foxtail millet.Furthermore,we found that the selection of the gene alleles associated with yellow grains led to altered profiles of metabolites such as carotenoids and endogenous phytohormones.Using CRiSPR-mediated genome editing wevalidated the function of PHYTOENE SYNTHASE1(PSY1)gene in affecting milletgrain colorand quality.Interestingly, our in vitro cell inflammation assays showed that 83 metabolites in millet grains have anti-inflammatory effects.Taken together,ourmulti-omics study illustrates how the breeding history of foxtail millet has shaped its metabolite profile. The datasets we generated in this study also provide important resources for further understanding how millet grain quality is affected by different metabolites, laying the foundations for future millet genetic research and metabolome-assisted improvement. | Xukai Li Jianhua Gao Jingyi Song Kai Guo Siyu Hou Xingchun Wang Qiang He Yanyan Zhang Yakun Zhang Yulu Yang Jiaoyan Tang Hailang Wang Staffan Persson Mingquan Huang Lishuai Xu Linlin Zhong Dongqin Li Yongming Liu Hua Wu Xianmin Diao Peng Chen Xiaowen Wang Yuanhuai Han | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,8: | 8

An Overview of Mineral Dust Modeling over East Asia显示文摘East Asian dust(EAD) exerts considerable impacts on the energy balance and climate/climate change of the earth system through its influence on solar and terrestrial radiation, cloud properties, and precipitation efficiency. Providing an accurate description of the life cycle and climate effects of EAD is therefore critical to better understanding of climate change and socioeconomic development in East Asia and even worldwide. Dust modeling has undergone substantial development since the late 1990 s, associated with improved understanding of the role of EAD in the earth system. Here, we review the achievements and progress made in recent decades in terms of dust modeling research, including dust emissions, long-range transport, radiative forcing(RF), and climate effects of dust particles over East Asia. Numerous efforts in dust/EAD modeling have been directed towards furnishing more sophisticated physical and chemical processes into the models on higher spatial resolutions. Meanwhile, more systematic observations and more advanced retrieval methods for instruments that address EAD related science issues have made it possible to evaluate model results and quantify the role of EAD in the earth system, and to further reduce the uncertainties in EAD simulations. Though much progress has been made, large discrepancies and knowledge gaps still exist among EAD simulations. The deficiencies and limitations that pertain to the performance of the EAD simulations referred to in the present study are also discussed. | Siyu CHEN Jianping HUANG Yun QIAN Chun ZHAO Litai KANG Ben YANG Yong WANG Yuzhi LIU Tiangang YUAN Tianhe WANG Xiaojun MA Guolong ZHANG | 2017 | Journal of Meteorological Research2017,31,4: | 7
Effects of flooding stress on the photosynthetic apparatus of leaves of two Physocarpus cultivars显示文摘We applied under pot-culture conditions and the double-casing pot method to study the characteristics of photosynthetic gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence in the leaves of Physocarpus amurensis Maxim(PA) and Physocarpus opulifolius under flooding stress. Our results indicate a significantly higher flooding tolerance of P.opulifolius compared to P.amurensis.Especially in P.amurensis, the limitation of non-stomatal factors played a major role in the advanced stages of flooding stress, observed as a rapid increase of the intercellular CO_2 concentration(C_i) and a decrease of the stomatal limitation value(L_s).The maximal PSII photochemical efficiencies(F_v/F_m) and actual photochemical efficiency(?_(PSII)) in the leaves of P.opulifolius were significantly higher, and the extent of decrease during the flooding process was smaller than in P.amurensis.In addition, the non-chemical quenching(NPQ) in the leaves of P.opulifolius significantly increased from the 10 th day under flooding stress, while the variation of NPQ in the leaves of P.amurensis was much smaller. This indicates that the leaves of P.opulifolius had not only higher PSII photochemical activity, but also improved tolerance to flooding stress, which may be caused by its ability to dissipate excess excitation energy by starting NPQ.At the 16 th day under flooding stress, the PIABSsignificantly decreased with greater extent of decrease than F_v/F_m in the leaves of both Physocarpus, but the decreasing extent of PIABSin P.opulifolius was significantly smaller than in P.amurensis.In the 16 th day under flooding stress, the fluorescence at J and I point(V_J and V_I) in P.amurensis were significantly higher, and the extent of increase in V_J was greater than V_I.However, the variations of V_Jand V_I in the leaves of P.opulifolius were smaller, suggesting that the damage sites of flooding stress to PSII in the leaves of P.amurensis were mainly located in the electron transport process from Q_A at the PSII receptor side to Q_B.Flooding stress reduced the proportion(φ Eo) of luminous energy absorbed by the PSII reaction center for the electron transport following Q_A^-, while the maximum quantum yield(φ Do) of non-photochemical quenching increased. However, the TR_o/RC and ETo/RC in the leaves of P.amurensis decreased accompanied by a dramatic increase of energy(DI_o/RC) from the dissipation in the reaction center. This further indicated that the function of the PSII reaction center in the leaves of P.amurensis was significantly lower than in P.opulifolius. | Huihui Zhang Peng Feng Wei Yang Xin Sui Xin Li Wei Li Rongtao Zhang Siyu Gu Nan Xu | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,4: | 6
Effect of organic amine alkali and inorganic alkali on benzotriazole removal during post Cu-CMP cleaning显示文摘Benzotriazole(BTA), an anticorrosion agent of slurry, is the main organic pollutant remaining after CMP of multilayer copper wiring, and also the main removal object of post CMP cleaning. The adsorption of BTA onto the copper could form a dense Cu-BTA film, which makes the copper surface strongly passivated. According to this characteristic, quantitative analysis of BTA residue after cleaning is carried out by contact angle measurement and electrochemical measurement in this paper. A scanning electron microscope(SEM) with EDX was used to observe and analyze the BTA shape and elements. The efficiencies of organic alkali and inorganic alkali on the removal of BTA were studied. The corresponding reaction mechanism was also analyzed. The results show that the adsorption structure of Cu(I)-BTA cannot be destroyed in an alkaline environment with a pH less than 10; the effect of BTA removal by inorganic alkali is worse than that of the organic amine alkali with the coordination structure under the same pH environment; the FA/O Ⅱ chelating agent with the fraction of 200 ppm can effectively remove BTA residue on the surface of copper wafer. | Liu Yang Baimei Tan Yuling Liu Baohong Gao Yilin Liu Chunyu Han Qi Wang Siyu Tian | 2018 | Journal of Semiconductors2018,39,12: | 6
Room temperature ferromagnetism in ultra-thin van der Waals crystals of 1T-CrTe2显示文摘Although many emerging new phenomena have been unraveled in two dimensional(2D)materials with long-range spin orderings, the usually low critical temperature in van der Waals(vdW)magnetic material has thus far hindered the related practical applications. Here,we show that ferromagnetism can hold above 300 K in a metallic phase of 1T-CrTe2 down to the ultra-thin limit. It thus makes CrTe2 so far the only known exfoliated ultra-thin vdW magnets with intrinsic long-range magnetic ordering above room temperature. An in-plane room-temperature negative anisotropic magnetoresistance(AMR)was obtained in ultra-thin CrTe2 devices, with a sign change in the AMR at lower temperature,with−0.6%and+5%at 300 and 10 K,respectively. Our findings provide insights into magnetism in ultra-thin CrTe2,expanding the vdW crystals toolbox for future room-temperature spintronic applications. | Xingdan Sun Wanying Li Xiao Wang Qi Sui Tongyao Zhang Zhi Wang Long Liu Da Li Shun Feng Siyu Zhong Hanwen Wang Vincent Bouchiat Manuel Nunez Regueiro Nicolas Rougemaille Johann Coraux Anike Purbawati Abdellali Hadj-Azzem Zhenhua Wang Baojuan Dong Xing Wu Teng Yang Guoqiang Yu Bingwu Wang Zheng Han Xiufeng Han Zhidong Zhang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,12: | 6
Fe5C2 nanoparticles as low-cost HER electrocatalyst:the importance of Co substitution显示文摘Constructing and understanding the doping effect of secondary metal in transition metal carbide(TMC)catalysts is pivotal for the design of low-cost hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) electrocatalysts. In this work, we developed a wet-chemistry strategy for synthesizing Co-modified Fe_5C_2 nanoparticles((Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs) as highly active HER electrocatalysts in basic solution. The structure of(Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectra(EXAFS) and scanning/transmission electron microscopy(S/TEM), indicating that the isomorphous substitution of cobalt in the lattice of Fe_5C_2.(Fe_(0.75) Co_(0.25))_5C_2 exhibited the best HER activity(174 mV for j = -10 mA/cm^2). Computational calculation results indicate that Co provides the most active site for HER. X-ray adsorption spectra(XAS) studies further suggested that the electron transfer in Fe–C bonds are enhanced by the substitution of Co, which modulates the hydrogen adsorption on the adjacent electronic-enriched carbon, and therefore promotes HER activity. | 16 | Ethanol-derived white emissive carbon dots:The formation process investigation and multi-color/white LEDs preparation显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs)have attracted much attention due to their excellent photoelectric properties and potential applications.Although previous studies have shown that almost all organic molecules can be converted into CDs via chemical carbonization, the mechanism of the conversion process remains unclear. The hydrothermal/solvothermal method commonly used to prepare CDs is complicated and leads to the generation of many by-product CDs with similar structures.Considering that the purification of the synthesized by-products is difficult, the process of CDs formation cannot be readily analyzed and understood.Herein,we use ethanol as a carbon source to synthesize white-emitting CDs(W-CDs).Column chromatography separation shows that the synthesized W-CDs are composed of blue-,cyan-,and yellow-emitting CDs that fluoresce at wavelengths corresponding to the three emission centers of W-CDs.Although the samples have similar graphitic structure, they exhibit different surface states due to variations in the degree of oxidation and carbonization. Therefore, the red-shift in their emission peaks is attributed to an increased degree of carbonization in their polymer structure.Theoretical calculations verify the experimental results, and the prepared CDs are successfully used to develop multi-color and white light-emitting diodes(LEDs). | Boyang Wang Haoqiang Song Zhiyong Tang Bai Yang Siyu Lu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 5
Modeling and analysis of oil shale refinery process with the indirectly heated moving bed显示文摘China is rich of oil shale as one of alternative fossil energy resources. The exploitation and utilization of oil shale are strategically important in alleviating the shortage of oil and gas resources in China. However, low utilization rate of raw material, low oil yield, and high content of heavy components in the oil are the main problems in current Fushun type oil shale refinery technology. An indirectly heated moving bed is developed to de-bottleneck Fushun type technology. The oil shale refinery process with the indirectly heated moving bed is modeled and simulated in this work.Based on the simulation,a techno-economic analysis is performed and compared with the conventional Fushun oil shale refinery process. Results show that:for a shale refinery of 3.0 Mt/y scale,375 t/h oil shale retorting requires 149.6 MW of heat,in which 60%of the heat is produced by combustion of the oil shale pyrolysis gas, while remaining 40%from the coal gasified gas.In consideration of investment and operation, the cost of product shale oil of the new process is 2636 CNY/t,which is 12%lower than that of the conventional Fushun refinery process. This benefit comes from higher utilization of raw material and oil yield of the new process. The competitive crude oil price of the indirectly heated moving bed refinery process is about 51$/bbl,while that of the Fushun refinery process is 58$/bbl.During 2017 year, the crude oil price fluctuates at around 50$/bbl,thus the new indirectly heated moving bed refinery process shows better economic competitiveness. | Huairong Zhou Shuai Zeng Siyu Yang Guangwen Xu Yu Qian | 2018 | Carbon Resources Conversion2018,1,3: | 5
Mapping and analysis of a spatiotemporal H3K27ac and gene expression spectrum in pigs显示文摘The limited knowledge of genomic noncoding and regulatory regions has restricted our ability to decipher the genetic mechanisms underlying complex traits in pigs. In this study, we characterized the spatiotemporal landscape of putative enhancers and promoters and their target genes by combining H3K27ac-targeted Ch IP-Seq and RNA-Seq in fetal(prenatal days 74–75) and adult(postnatal days 132–150) tissues(brain, liver, heart, muscle and small intestine) sampled from Asian aboriginal Bama Xiang and European highly selected Large White pigs of both sexes. We identified 101,290 H3K27ac peaks, marking 18,521promoters and 82,769 enhancers, including peaks that were active across all tissues and developmental stages(which could indicate safe harbor locus for exogenous gene insertion) and tissue-and developmental stage-specific peaks(which regulate gene pathways matching tissue-and developmental stage-specific physiological functions). We found that H3K27ac and DNA methylation in the promoter region of the XIST gene may be involved in X chromosome inactivation and demonstrated the utility of the present resource for revealing the regulatory patterns of known causal genes and prioritizing candidate causal variants for complex traits in pigs. In addition, we identified an average of 1,124 super-enhancers per sample and found that they were more likely to show tissue-specific activity than ordinary peaks. | 19 | The landscape of aging显示文摘Aging is characterized by a progressive deterioration of physiological integrity, leading to impaired functional ability and ultimately increased susceptibility to death. It is a major risk factor for chronic human diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurological degeneration, and cancer. Therefore, the growing emphasis on “healthy aging” raises a series of important questions in life and social sciences. In recent years, there has been unprecedented progress in aging research, particularly the discovery that the rate of aging is at least partly controlled by evolutionarily conserved genetic pathways and biological processes. In an attempt to bring full-fledged understanding to both the aging process and age-associated diseases,we review the descriptive, conceptual, and interventive aspects of the landscape of aging composed of a number of layers at the cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and organismal levels. | Yusheng Cai Wei Song Jiaming Li Ying Jing Chuqian Liang Liyuan Zhang Xia Zhang Wenhui Zhang Beibei Liu Yongpan An Jingyi Li Baixue Tang Siyu Pei Xueying Wu Yuxuan Liu Cheng-Le Zhuang Yilin Ying Xuefeng Dou Yu Chen Fu-Hui Xiao Dingfeng Li Ruici Yang Ya Zhao Yang Wang Lihui Wang Yujing Li Shuai Ma Si Wang Xiaoyuan Song Jie Ren Liang Zhang Jun Wang Weiqi Zhang Zhengwei Xie Jing Qu Jianwei Wang Yichuan Xiao Ye Tian Gelin Wang Ping Hu Jing Ye Yu Sun Zhiyong Mao Qing-Peng Kong Qiang Liu Weiguo Zou Xiao-Li Tian Zhi-Xiong Xiao Yong Liu Jun-Ping Liu Moshi Song Jing-Dong J.Han Guang-Hui Liu | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,12: | 4
In-situ study on hydrogen bubble evolution in the liquid Al/solid Ni interconnection by synchrotron radiation X-ray radiography显示文摘Synchrotron X-ray radiography was used to carry out an in-situ observation of the hydrogen bubble evolution in the liquid Al/solid Ni interconnection. The individual bubble mainly grows in a stochastic way during heating. The size distribution for groups of bubbles follows a Gaussian distribution in the early stage and Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner(LSW) diffusion controlled distribution in the final stage. The intermetallic compounds(IMCs) first form during solidification, following by the hydrogen bubbles. The bubbles between two adjacent Al3Ni grains grow unidirectionally along the liquid channel, with the bottom being impeded by the Al3Ni phase and the radius of the growth front being smaller. For the bubbles at triple junctions, they grow along the liquid channel and the crack with morphology transition. | Zongye Ding Qiaodan Hu Wenquan Lu Xuan Ge Sheng Cao Siyu Sun Tianxing Yang Mingxu Xia Jianguo Li | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,7: | 3
