| 3 | Drug-nanoencapsulated PLGA microspheres prepared by emulsion electrospray with controlled release behavior显示文摘The development of modern therapeutics has raised the requirement for controlled drug delivery system which is able to efficiently encapsulate bioactive agents and achieve their release at a desired rate satisfying the need of the practical system.In this study,two kind of aqueous model drugs with different molecule weight,Congo red and albumin from bovine serum(BSA)were nanoencapsulated in poly(DL-lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)microspheres by emulsion electrospray.In the preparation process,the aqueous phase of drugs was added into the PLGA chloroform solution to form the emulsion solution.The emulsion was then electrosprayed to fabricate drugnanoencapsulated PLGA microspheres.The morphology of the PLGA microspheres was affected by the volume ratio of aqueous drug phase and organic PLGA phase(V_(w)/V_(o))and the molecule weight of model drugs.Confocal laser scanning microcopy showed the nanodroplets of drug phase were scattered in the PLGA microspheres homogenously with different distribution patterns related to V_(w)/V_(o).With the increase of the volume ratio of aqueous drug phase,the number of nanodroplets increased forming continuous phase gradually that could accelerate drug release rate.Moreover,BSA showed a slower release rate from PLGA microspheres comparing to Congo red,which indicated the drug release rate could be affected by not only V_(w)/V_(o)but also the molecule weight of model drug.In brief,the PLGA microspheres prepared using emulsion electrospray provided an efficient and simple systemto achieve controlled drug release at a desired rate satisfying the need of the practices. | Shenglian Yao Huiying Liu Shukui Yu Yuanyuan Li Xiumei Wang Luning Wang | 2016 | Regenerative Biomaterials2016，3，5： | 5 |

| 6 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 7 | First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). | 10 | Flk-1 specific kinase inhibitor SU5416 blocked angiogenesis of Lewis carcinoma in mouse and prolonged the survival显示文摘Objective: To reveal the mechanism and effect of SU5416 in the treatment of mouse Lewis cancer in vivo. Methods: Lewis cell was transplanted into groin of C57/B6 mouse by subcutaneous injection, then SU5416 was administrated intraperitoneally to investigate the impact of SU5416 on tumor angiogenesis and growth in vivo. 32 mice were treated with SU5416 at two different doses every day until the end-point. As a control, 8 mice received no treatment and 8 mice were treated with vehicle (DMSO) only after implantation. Results: Median survival in the treated group was statistically longer compared to that in the control groups (P < 0.05) and no significant systemic adverse was observed. Histological analysis of the treated tumors showed an increase in necroses and reduced in angiogenesis compared to the control tumors. Furthermore, the percent of apoptotic cells increased in the treated tumors by FCM, the expressions of VEGF and KDR had no change after SU5416 administration by western blot. | 12 | Baseline radiologic features as predictors of efficacy in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors with liver metastases receiving surufatinib显示文摘Objective:Currently,pre-treatment prediction of patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors with liver metastases(PNELM)receiving surufatinib treatment was unsatisfying.Our objective was to examine the association between radiological characteristics and efficacy/prognosis.Methods:We enrolled patients with liver metastases in the phase III,SANET-p trial(NCT02589821)and obtained contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CECT)images.Qualitative and quantitative parameters including hepatic tumor margins,lesion volumes,enhancement pattern,localization types,and enhancement ratios were evaluated.The progression-free survival(PFS)and hazard ratio(HR)were calculated using Cox’s proportional hazard model.Efficacy was analyzed by logistic-regression models.Results:Among 152 patients who had baseline CECT assessments and were included in this analysis,the surufatinib group showed statistically superior efficacy in terms of median PFS compared to placebo across various qualitative and quantitative parameters.In the multivariable analysis of patients receiving surufatinib(N=100),those with higher arterial phase standardized enhancement ratio-peri-lesion(ASER-peri)exhibited longer PFS[HR=0.039;95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.003−0.483;P=0.012].Furthermore,patients with a high enhancement pattern experienced an improvement in the objective response ratio[31.3%vs.14.7%,odds ratio(OR)=3.488;95%CI:1.024−11.875;P=0.046],and well-defined tumor margins were associated with a higher disease control rate(DCR)(89.3%vs.68.2%,OR=4.535;95%CI:1.285−16.011;P=0.019)compared to poorlydefined margins.Conclusions:These pre-treatment radiological features,namely high ASER-peri,high enhancement pattern,and well-defined tumor margins,have the potential to serve as predictive markers of efficacy in patients with PNELM receiving surufatinib. | Jianwei Zhang Haibin Zhu Lin Shen Jie Li Xiaoyan Zhang Chunmei Bai Zhiwei Zhou Xianrui Yu Zhiping Li Enxiao Li Xianglin Yuan Wenhui Lou Yihebali Chi Nong Xu Yongmei Yin Yuxian Bai Tao Zhang Dianrong Xiu Jia Chen Shukui Qin Xiuwen Wang Yujie Yang Haoyun Shi Xian Luo Songhua Fan Weiguo Su Ming Lu Jianming Xu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023，35，5： | 0 |
| 13 | Performances of a prototype point-contact germanium detector immersed in liquid nitrogen for light dark matter search显示文摘The CDEX-10 experiment searches for light weakly interacting massive particles, a form of dark matter, at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory, where approximately 10 kg of germanium detectors are arranged in an array and immersed in liquid nitrogen. Herein, we report on the experimental apparatus, detector characterization, and spectrum analysis of one prototype detector. Owing to the higher rise-time resolution of the CDEX-10 prototype detector as compared with CDEX-1 B, we identified the origin of an observed category of extremely fast events. For data analysis of the CDEX-10 prototype detector, we introduced and applied an improved bulk/surface event discrimination method. The results of the new method were compared to those of the CDEX-1 B spectrum.
