| 3 | Digital templating in total hip arthroplasty:Additional anteroposterior hip view increases the accuracy显示文摘AIM To analyze planning total hip arthroplasty(THA) with an additional anteroposterior hip view may increases the accuracy of preoperative planning in THA.METHODS We conducted prospective digital planning in 100 consecutive patients: 50 of these procedures were planned using pelvic overview only(first group), and the other 50 procedures were planned using pelvic overview plus antero-posterior(a.p.) hip view(second group). The planning and the procedure of each patient were performed exclusively by the senior surgeon. Fifty procedures with retrospective analogues planning were used as the control group(group zero). After the procedure, the planning was compared with the eventually implanted components(cup and stem). For statistic analysis the x^2 test was used for nominal variables and the t test was used for a comparison of continuous variables.RESULTS Preoperative planning with an additional a.p. hip view(second group) significantly increased the exact component correlation when compared to pelvic overview only(first group) for both the acetabular cup and the femoral stem(76% cup and 66% stem vs 54% cup and 32% stem). When considering planning ± 1 size, the accuracy in the second group was 96%(48 of 50 patients) for the cup and 94% for the stem(47 of 50patients). | 4 | Proteome alterations in aqueous humour of primary open angle glaucoma patients显示文摘AIM: To unravel the primary open angle glaucoma(POAG) related proteomic changes in aqueous humour(AH).METHODS: Totally 35 patients listed for cataract surgery(controls: n=12, age: 67.4±13.6 y) or trabeculectomy for POAG(n=23, age: 72.5±8.3 y) were included. AH samples of those patients were obtained during cataract surgery or trabeculectomy. AH samples were subsequently pooled into the experimental groups under equal contribution in terms of protein amount of each individual patient. Protein samples were analyzed by a linear trap quadrupol Orbitrap Mass Spectrometry device with an upstream liquid chromatography system. The obtained raw data were analyzed using the Maxquant proteome software and compared. Proteins with a fold-change ratio higher than a cut-off of 2 were considered as noticeably altered.RESULTS: A total number of 175 proteins could be identified out of the AH from POAG and cataract by means of quantitative mass spectrometric analysis. Apolipoprotein D(fold change, 3.16 times), complement C3(2.96), pigment epithelium-derived factor(2.86), dickkopf-related protein 3(2.18) and wingless-related integration(Wnt) inhibitory factor 1(2.35) were significantly upregulated within the AH of glaucoma compared to cataract serving as controls.CONCLUSION: AH provides a tool to analyze changes in glaucoma and shows striking changes in Wnt signaling inhibitory molecules and other proteins. | Hanhan Liu Fabian Anders Sebastian Funke Karl Mercieca Franz Grus Verena Prokosch | 2020 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2020，13，1： | 2 |
| 5 | An automated, 0.5 Hz nano-foil target positioning system for intense laser plasma experiments显示文摘We report on a target system supporting automated positioning of nano-targets with a precision resolution of 4 μm in three dimensions. It relies on a confocal distance sensor and a microscope. The system has been commissioned to position nanometer targets with 1 Hz repetition rate. Integrating our prototype into the table-top ATLAS 300 TW-laser system at the Laboratory for Extreme Photonics in Garching, we demonstrate the operation of a 0.5 Hz laser-driven proton source with a shot-to-shot variation of the maximum energy about 27% for a level of confidence of 0.95. | 15 | Resilience in Agriculture: Communication and Energy Infrastructure Dependencies of German Farmers显示文摘Agriculture is subject to high demands regarding resilience as it is an essential component of the food production chain. In the agricultural sector, there is an increasing usage of digital tools that rely on communication and energy infrastructures. Should disruption occur,such strengthened dependencies on other infrastructures increase the probability of ripple effects. Thus, there is a need to analyze the resilience of the agricultural sector with a specific focus on the effects of digitalization. This study works out resilience capacities of the interconnected technologies used in farm systems based on the experiences and opinions of farmers. Information was gathered through focus group interviews with farmers(N = 52) and a survey with participants from the agricultural sector(N =118). In particular, the focus is put on the digital tools and other information and communication technologies they use. Based on a definition of resilience capacities, we evaluate resilience regarding energy and communication demands in various types of farm systems. Especially important are the resilience aspects of modern systems’ digital communication as well as the poorly developed and nonresilient network infrastructure in rural areas that contrast with the claim for a resilient agriculture.
