| 1 | Efficacy of mosapride citrate with polyethylene glycol solution for colonoscopy preparation显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of adjunctive mosapride citrate for bowel preparation before colonoscopy. METHODS:We conducted a randomized,double-blind, placebo-controlled study with mosapride in addition to polyethylene glycol(PEG)-electrolyte solution.Of 250 patients undergoing colonoscopy,124 were randomized to receive 2 L PEG plus 15 mg of mosapride citrate (mosapride group),and 126 received 2 L PEG plus placebo(placebo group).Patients completed a questionnaire reporting the acceptability and tolerability of the bowel preparation process.The efficacy of bowel preparation was assessed by colonoscopists using a 5-point scale based on Aronchick's criteria.The primary end point was optimal bowel preparation rates(scores of excellent/good/fair vs poor/inadequate). RESULTS:A total of 249 patients were included in the analysis.In the mosapride group,optimal bowel preparation rates were significantly higher in the left colon compared with the placebo group(78.2%vs 65.6%,P<0.05),but not in the right colon(76.5%vs 66.4%,P=0.08).After excluding patients with severe constipation,there was a significant difference in bowel preparation in both the left and right colon(82.4%vs 66.7%,80.8%vs 67.5%,P<0.05,P<0.01).The incidence of adverse events was similar in both groups. Among the subgroup who had previous colonoscopy experience,a significantly higher number of patients in the mosapride group felt that the current preparation was easier compared with patients in the placebo group(34/72 patients vs 24/74 patients,P<0.05). | 9 | Semi-polar GaN LEDs on Si substrate显示文摘Growth of semi-polar (1-101)GaN has been attempted on a patterned (001) silicon substrate adopting selective area MOVPE. The growth was initiated on (111) facets of the Si,which had been prepared by anisotropy etching in a KOH solution. A uniform semi-polar layer was achieved by coalescence of stripes. Since the growth was performed on facets,the surface was atomically flat in AFM surface analyses. By using a high temperature grown AlN nucleation layer,we achieved low threading dislocation density at the top most surface. Moreover,by tilting the c-axis of the GaN on the Si substrate,the effect of the thermal expansion coefficient mismatch was much reduced. As the result,we achieved a crack free (1-101)GaN template on (001)Si. | 12 | Mechanisms and anatomical risk factors of pneumothorax after Bevacizumab use:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Bevacizumab is an antiangiogenic agent,and that synergizes with chemotherapeutic drugs.When used in combination therapies,Bevacizumab is associated with adverse events such as hemorrhage,gastrointestinal perforation,delayed wound healing,and pneumothorax.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying these adverse events are not fully understood.CASE SUMMARY A 45-year-old female with multiple lung metastases that were derived from primary breast cancer,was placed on Bevacizumab+paclitaxel therapy,since this combination has a potent antitumor effect.She reported dyspnea before cycle 3,day 1 and we therefore ran a chest X-ray,which detected a right pneumothorax.The coronal plane computed tomography revealed that one solid mass rapidly necrosed and was replaced by a cavity that passed through the bronchus in the right lower lobe.The cavity eventually ruptured the pleura and made the bronchopleural fistula that led to this pneumothorax.Thoracic cavity drainage using an intercostal catheter was performed.On the 7th day of drainage,the patient was discharged from our hospital on recovery.Recurrence of pneumothorax was not reported,and continuation of chemotherapy was made possible by changing the regimen.CONCLUSION Patients with lung metastases surrounding the bronchi and on the pleura should be monitored for pneumothorax by Bevacizumab-containing chemotherapies. | Yuri Ozaki Akiyo Yoshimura Masataka Sawaki Masaya Hattori Naomi Gondo Haruru Kotani Yayoi Adachi Ayumi Kataoka Kayoko Sugino Nanae Horisawa Yuka Endo Kazuki Nozawa Shoko Sakamoto Hiroji Iwata | 2020 | World Journal of Clinical Oncology2020，11，7： | 2 |
