1Biosorption characteristics of unicellular green alga Chlorella sorokiniana immobilized in loofa sponge for removal of Cr(Ⅲ)显示文摘Loofa sponge(LS)immobilized biomass of Chlorella sorokiniana(LSIBCS),isolated from industrial wastewater, was investigated as a new biosorbent for the removal of Cr(Ⅲ)from aqueous solution.A comparison of the biosorption of Cr(Ⅲ)by LSIBCS and free biomass of C.sorokiniana(FBCS)from 10-300 mg Cr(Ⅲ)/L aqueous solutions showed an increase in uptake of 17.79% when the rnicroalgal biomass was immobilized onto loofa sponge.Maximum biosorption capacity for LSIBCS and FBCS was found to be 69.26 and 58.80 mg Cr(Ⅲ)/g biosorbent, respectively, whereas the amount of Cr(Ⅲ)ions adsorbed onto naked LS was 4.97 mg/g.The kinetics of Cr(Ⅲ)biosorption was extremely rapid and equilibrium was established in about 15 and 20 min by LSIBCS and FBCS, respectively. The biosorption equilibrium was well defined by Langrnuir adsorption isotherm model. The biosorption kinetics followed the pseudo-second order kinetic model. The biosorption was found to be pH dependent and the maximum sorption occurred at the solution pH 4.0.Desorption studies showed that 98% of the adsorbed Cr(Ⅲ)could be desorbed with 0.1 mol/L HNO_3,while other desorbing agents were less effective in the order:EDTA>H_2SO_4>CH_3COOH>HCl.The regenerated LSIBCS retained 92.68% of the initial Cr(Ⅲ)binding capacity up to five cycles of reuse in continuous flow-fixed bed columns. The study revealed that LSIBCS could be used as an effective biosorbent for the removal of Cr(Ⅲ)from wastewater.AKHTAR Nasreen IQBAL Muhammad ZAFAR Saeed Iqbal IQBAL Javed 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,2:20
2Antibiotic resistance and cagA gene correlation:A looming crisis of Helicobacter pylori显示文摘AIM:To determine antibiotic resistance of Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) in Pakistan and its correlation with host and pathogen associated factors.METHODS:A total of 178 strains of H.pylori were isolated from gastric biopsies of dyspeptic patients.Susceptibility patterns against first and second-line antibiotics were determined and trends of resistance were analyzed in relation to the sampling period, gastric conditions and cagA gene carriage. The effect of cagA gene on the acquisition of resistance was investigated by mutant selection assay.RESULTS:The observations showed that monoresistant strains were prevalent with rates of 89% for metronidazole,36% for clarithromycin,37% for amoxicillin,18.5% for ofloxacin and 12% for tetracycline.Furthermore, clarithromycin resistance was on the rise from 2005 to 2008(32% vs 38%,P = 0.004) and it is significantly observed in non ulcerative dyspeptic patients compared to gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer cases(53% vs 20%,18% and 19%,P = 0.000).On the contrary, metronidazole and ofloxacin resistance were more common in gastritis and gastric ulcer cases.Distribution analysis and frequencies of resistant mutants in vitro correlated with the absence of cagA gene with metronidazole and ofloxacin resistance.CONCLUSION:The study confirms the alarming levels of antibiotic resistance associated with the degree of gastric inflammation and cagA gene carriage in H.pylori strains.Adnan Khan Amber Farooqui Hamid Manzoor Syed Shakeel Akhtar Muhammad Saeed Quraishy Shahana Urooj Kazmi 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,18:15
3863 genomes reveal the origin and domestication of chicken显示文摘Despite the substantial role that chickens have played in human societies across the world, both the geographic and temporal origins of their domestication remain controversial. To address this issue,we analyzed 863 genomes from a worldwide sampling of chickens and representatives of all four species of wild jungle fowl and each of the five subspecies of red jungle fowl(RJF).Our study suggests that domestic chickens were initially derived from the RJF subspecies Gallus gallus spadiceus whose present-day distribution is predominantly in southwestern China, northern Thailand and Myanmar.Following their domestication, chickens were translocated across Southeast and South Asia where they interbred locally with both RJF subspecies and other jungle fowl species. In addition, our results show that the White Leghorn chicken breed possesses a mosaic of divergent ancestries inherited from other subspecies of RJF.Despite the strong episodic gene flow from geographically divergent lineages of jungle fowls, our analyses show that domestic chickens undergo genetic adaptations that underlie their unique behavioral, morphological and reproductive traits. Our study provides novel insights into the evolutionary history of domestic chickens and a valuable resource to facilitate ongoing genetic and functional investigations of the world's most numerous domestic animal.Ming-Shan Wang Mukesh Thakur Min-Sheng Peng Yu Jiang Laurent Alain Francois Frantz Ming Li Jin-Jin Zhang Sheng Wang Joris Peters Newton Otieno Otecko Chatmongkon Suwannapoom Xing Guo Zhu-Qing Zheng Ali Esmailizadeh Nalini Yasoda Hirimuthugoda Hidayat Ashari Sri Suladari Moch Syamsul Arifin Zein Szilvia Kusza Saeed Sohrabi Hamed Kharrati-Koopaee Quan-Kuan Shen Lin Zeng Min-Min Yang Ya-Jiang Wu Xing-Yan Yang Xue-Mei Lu Xin-Zheng Jia Qing-Hua Nie Susan Joy Lamont Emiliano Lasagna Simone Ceccobelli Humpita Gamaralalage Thilini Nisanka Gunwardana Thilina Madusanka Senasige Shao-Hong Feng Jing-Fang Si Hao Zhang Jie-Qiong Jin Ming-Li Li Yan-Hu Liu Hong-Man Chen Cheng Ma Shan-Shan Dai Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan Muhammad Sajjad Khan Gamamada Liyanage Lalanie Pradeepa Silva Thi-Thuy Le Okeyo Ally Mwai Mohamed Nawaz Mohamed Ibrahim Megan Supple Beth Shapiro Olivier Hanotte Guojie Zhang Greger Larson Jian-Lin Han Dong-Dong Wu Ya-Ping Zhang 2020Cell Research2020,30,8:7
4Prevalence of non-Helicobacter pylori duodenal ulcer in Karachi,Pakistan显示文摘AIM: To determine the prevalence of non-Helicobacter pylori (H pylori)-related duodenal ulcer in patients with acid-peptic diseases.METHODS: Medical records of patients who attended the Gastroenterology Department at Aga Khan University Hospital from 1999 to 2001 and had endoscopic diagnosis of duodenal ulcers were reviewed. Duodenal ulcer associated with H pylori was diagnosed on the basis of endoscopy, rapid urease test and histopathology whereas histories of aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) related duodenal ulcers. Non-H pylori, non-NSAID duodenal ulcers were those without H pylori infection and history of NSAID intake. Co-morbid conditions associated were noted.RESULTS: Of 2 260 patients, 10% (217/2 260) had duodenal ulcer. Duodenal ulcer related to H pylori infectionaccounted for 53% (116/217), NSAID-related 10% (22/217),non-H pylori non-NSAID 29% (62/217), and 8% (17/217) had both Hpyloriinfection and histories of NSAID intake. Fifteen percent (18/116)_patients had past histories of peptic ulcer disease in Hpyloriinfection, while 8% (5/62) in non-Hpylorinon-NSAID ulcer. Co-morbid conditions in H pylori infection were seen in 23% (27/116) and 34%(21/62) in non-H pylori non-NSAID ulcer.CONCLUSION: Incidence of H pylori infection related with duodenal ulcer is common. In the presence of co-morbids, non-Hpyloriand non-NSAID duodenal ulcer is likely to be present.Javed Yakoob Wasim Jafri Nadim Jafri Muhammad Islam Shahab Abid Saeed Hamid Hasnain AliShah Hizbullah Shaikh 2005World Journal of Gastroenterology2005,11,23:6
5Advances in fungal-assisted phytoremediation of heavy metals:A review显示文摘Trace metals such as manganese(Mn),copper(Cu),zinc(Zn),and iron(Fe)are essential for many biological processes in plant life cycles. However,in excess, they can be toxic and disrupt plant growth processes, which is economically undesirable for crop production. For this reason, processes such as homeostasis and transport control of these trace metals are of constant interest to scientists studying heavily contaminated habitats.Phytoremediation is a promising cleanup technology for soils polluted with heavy metals. However, this technique has some disadvantages, such as the slow growth rate of metal-accumulating plant species, low bioavailability of heavy metals, and long duration of remediation.Microbial-assisted phytoremediation is a promising strategy for hyperaccumulating, detoxifying,or remediating soil contaminants.Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)are found in association with almost all plants, contributing to their healthy performance and providing resistance against environmental stresses. They colonize plant roots and extend their hyphae to the rhizosphere region, assisting in mineral nutrient uptake and regulation of heavy metal acquisition.Endophytic fungi exist in every healthy plant tissue and provide enormous services to their host plants, including growth enhancement by nutrient acquisition, detoxification of heavy metals, secondary metabolite regulation, and enhancement of abiotic/biotic stress tolerance. The aim of the present work is to review the recent literature regarding the role of AMF and endophytic fungi in plant heavy metal tolerance in terms of its regulation in highly contaminated conditions.Muhammad KHALID Saeed UR-RAHMAN Danial HASSANI Kashif HAYAT Pei ZHOU Nan HUI 2021Pedosphere2021,31,3:6

8Tectonic evolution of structures in Southern Sindh Monocline,Indus Basin,Pakistan formed in multi-extensional tectonic episodes of Indian Plate显示文摘There are a number of structures and structural styles found in extensional tectonic settings of the world, and it is a big challenge to study the evolution of these structures. Evolution of structures formed in extensional tectonic settings have been studied by researchers on different extensional basins of the world. Southern Sindh Monocline lies on the western corner of Indian Plate and the tectonic history of Indian plate has also experienced different extensional episodes, and its journey rifted from Gondwanaland to its final welding to Asia. The aim of this study is to figure out the evolution of structures in the subsurface of Southern Sindh Monocline, Pakistan using the seismic data interpretation and flattening of horizons approach. Structures within the subsurface of Southern Sindh Monocline have been characterized by different tectonic episodes of Indian plate while rifting from Gondwanaland, rifting from other plates at different geological times and to its collision with the Asia. Basic structures within study area are classified into nine types while the structural styles have been classified into six types as horst and grabens, dominos, crotch, synthetic and antithetic, negative and flashlight structural style. The structures within the study area revealed evidence for three major structural episodes which can be characterized as Episode 1: Structures associated with rifting of Indian plate from Gondwanaland during Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous, Episode 2: Modification and reactivation of previous structures while Madagascar rifted from Indian Plate during the Middle Cretaceous and during Episode 3: Inversion and reactivation of structures occurred when Indian Plate collided with Asia during Early Eocene.Shabeer Ahmed Sarfraz Hussain Solangi Muhammad Saeed Khan Jadoon Adeel Nazeer 2018Geodesy and Geodynamics2018,9,5:3
9Productive performance, egg quality, hematological parameters and serum chemistry of laying hens fed diets supplemented with certain fat-soluble vitamins, individually or combined, during summer season显示文摘This present study aimed to determine the efficacy of supplementing layer diets with vitamin A(0, 8,000 and16,000 IU/kg diet) and vitamin E(0, 250 and 500 mg/kg diet) either individually or in combination on egg production and quality, and blood hematology and chemistry of birds reared under summer conditions. A total of 135 Bovans Brown laying hens were distributed to 9 treatment groups with 5 replicates of 3 hens/pen in a 3 × 3 factorial design. A significant improvement in feed conversion ratio(FCR) was observed as supplementary vitamin A or E increased(P 0.01). Hens fed diets supplemented with 16,000 IU vitamin A plus 500 mg vitamin E/kg diet had the best FCR among all groups. Egg quality traits were not significantly affected by the interaction of vitamin A and vitamin E levels. There was a significant increase in monocytes(P ≤ 0.01)and a decrease in basophils counts(P ≤ 0.05) in response to vitamin E. Significant decreases were observed in packed cell volume(PCV), thyroxine(T_4), alanine transferase(ALT), albumin, total cholesterol and total lipids((P ≤ 0.05 or P ≤ 0.01) P 0.01), and increases were observed in serum concentrations of globulin(P ≤ 0.05)and calcium(P ≤ 0.01) due to vitamin A. The combination of 0 IU vitamin A and 500 mg vitamin E/kg diet had the highest values of PCV(40.09%) and hemoglobin(Hb)(10.33 mg/100 mL) among all groups. Vitamin E raised serum values of total protein, total cholesterol and total lipids(P ≤ 0.05 or P≤ 0.01). Feed intake, FCR,PCV, Hb, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, T_4, ALT and total protein were significantly affected by the interaction of vitamins A and E(P ≤ 0.05 or P ≤ 0.01). The interaction of vitamins A and E was only significant with respect to serum total protein(P ≤ 0.05). It can be concluded that layer diets supplemented with vitamins A and E had good results in alleviating the harmful impacts of high ambient temperature. The combination of 16,000 IU vitamin A and 500 mg vitamin E per kilogram diet is preferable for obtaining better production of laying hens reared under hot summer conditions.Mohamed E.Abd El-Hack Mahmoud Alagawany Khalid M.Mahrose Muhammad Arif Muhammad Saeed Muhammad A.Arain Rab N.Soomro Farman A.Siyal Sarfraz A.Fazlani Justin Fowler 2019Animal Nutrition2019,,1:3
10Colon mucosal neoplasia referred for endoscopic mucosal resection:Recurrence of adenomas and prediction of submucosal invasion显示文摘BACKGROUND Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)is an effective and minimally invasive alternative to surgery for large polyps and laterally spreading lesions.Gross morphology and surface characteristics may help predict submucosal invasion of the lesion(SMIL)during endoscopic evaluation. This is one of the largest singlecenter studies reporting endoscopic mucosal resection for larger(≥20 mm)colorectal lesions in the United States.AIM To determine the recurrence rate of adenomas and endoscopic features that may predict submucosal invasion of colonic mucosal neoplasia.METHODS This is a retrospective cohort study of all the patients referred for endoscopic mucosal resection for lesions≥20 mm,spanning a period from January 2013 to February 2017.The main outcome measure was identifying features that may predict submucosal invasion of mucosal lesions and predict recurrence of adenomas on follow-up surveillance colonoscopy performed at 4-6 mo.RESULTS A total of 480 patients with 500 lesions were included in the study. The median age was 68(Inter quantile range:14)with 52%males.The most common lesion location was ascending colon(161;32%).Paris classification 0-IIa(Flat elevation of mucosa-316;63.2%);Kudo Pit Pattern IIIs(192;38%)and Granular surface morphology(260;52%)were most prevalent.Submucosal invasion was present in 23(4.6%)out of 500 lesions. The independent risk factors for SMIL were Kudo Pit Pattern IIIL+IV and V(Odds ratio:4.5;P value<0.004)and Paris classification 0-IIc(Odds ratio:18.2;P value<0.01).Out of 500,354 post-endoscopic mucosal resection scars were examined at surveillance colonoscopy.Recurrence was noted in 21.8%(77 cases).CONCLUSION There was overall low prevalence of SMIL in our study.Kudo pit pattern(IIIL+IV and V)and Paris classification 0-IIc were the only factors identified as an independent risk factor for submucosal invasion. The independent risk factor for recurrence was adenoma size(>40 mm).Almost all recurrences(98.8%)were treated endoscopically.Mamoon Ur Rashid Neelam Khetpal Hammad Zafar Saeed Ali Evgeny Idrisov Yuan Du Assaf Stein Deepanshu Jain Muhammad Khalid Hasan 2020World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2020,12,7:3
11Orange dye polyaniline composite based impedance humidity sensors显示文摘This study presents the fabrication and investigation of humidity sensors based on orange dye (OD) and polyaniline (PANI) composite films. A blend of 3 wt.% OD with 1 wt.% PANI was prepared in 1 ml water. The composite films were deposited on glass substrates between pre-deposited silver electrodes. The gap between the electrodes was 45 μm. The sensing mechanism was based on the impedance and capacitance variations due to the absorption/desorption of water vapor. It was observed that with the increase in relative humidity (RH) from 30% to 90%, the impedance decreases by 5.2 × 10 4 and 8.8 × 10 3 times for the frequencies of 120 Hz and 1 kHz, respectively. The impedance-humidity relationship showed a more uniform change compared to the capacitance-humidity relationship in the RH range of 30% to 90%. The consequence of annealing, measuring frequency, response and recovery time, and absorption-desorption behavior of the humidity sensor were also discussed in detail. The annealing resulted in an increase in sensitivity of up to 2.5 times, while the measured response time and recovery time were 34 s and 450 s, respectively. The impedance-humidity relationship was simulated.Muhammad Tariq Saeed Chani Kh. S. Karimov F. A. Khalid S. Z. Abbas M. B. Bhatty 2013Chinese Physics B2013,22,1:3
12Isothermal, kinetic, and thermodynamic studies for solid-phase extraction of uranium(VI) via hydrazine-impregnated carbonbased material as efficient adsorbent显示文摘The current study describes the application of a new extraction method for efficient uranium adsorption via cost-effective hydrazine-impregnated activated carbon.Various experimental parameters such as time, adsorbent weight, temperature(°C), and uranium concentration were thoroughly investigated. The synthesized adsorbent was characterized via X-ray diffraction, Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed86% uranium extraction under optimized conditions(20% P2O5 at 25 °C, 120 min). The obtained findings fit well with thermodynamic and isothermal(Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms) models and pseudo second-order kinetics. In thermodynamic studies, the negative sign of(DG°) specified the spontaneity of process, the negative sign of(DH°) revealed endothermicity, and the positive sign of(DS°) showed high randomness after adsorption.A.Morsy M.H.Taha Muhammad Saeed Amir Waseem Muhammad Asad Riaz M.M.Elmaadawy 2019Nuclear Science and Techniques2019,30,11:3
13层状双氢氧化物(LDHs)的合成及应用(英文)显示文摘Layered double hydroxides, a class of anionic clays possessing sandwich like structure in which negative anions are sandwiched into positively charged metal layers in a repeating manner, have been studied extensively. Layered double hydroxides could be fabricated with combination of different divalent(Cd^(2+), Mn^(2+), Fe^(2+), Pb^(2+)) and trivalent(Al^(3+), Cr^(3+), Fe^(3+)) metals and layered arrangement imparts unique properties such as adsorption properties and catalytic properties in these compounds. Exciting feature of these compounds is the memory effect. There are a number of methods to synthesize these layered compounds, such as co-precipitation, hydrothermal, sol-gel, urea hydrolysis,?etc. The synthesized LDHs can be characterized morphologically and compositionally i.e. scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, powder X-Ray diffraction, Mossbauer spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, XPS, etc. The wonderful feature of layered double hydroxides is the pliancy of interlayer space enabling them to accommodate various anionic species, and high surface area making them efficient in numerous applications such as adsorbents, anion exchange, catalysts, and biological compatible.Saba Jamil Afaaf Rahat Alvi Shanza Rauf Khan Muhammad Ramzan Saeed Ashraf Janjua 2019化学进展2019,31,2:3
14Simulation, Modeling, and Optimization of Intelligent Kidney Disease Predication Empowered with Computational Intelligence Approaches显示文摘Artificial intelligence(AI)is expanding its roots in medical diagnostics.Various acute and chronic diseases can be identified accurately at the initial level by using AI methods to prevent the progression of health complications.Kidney diseases are producing a high impact on global health and medical practitioners are suggested that the diagnosis at earlier stages is one of the foremost approaches to avert chronic kidney disease and renal failure.High blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, and glomerulonephritis are the root causes of kidney disease. Therefore, the present study is proposed a set of multiple techniques such as simulation, modeling, and optimization of intelligent kidney disease prediction(SMOIKD)which is based on computational intelligence approaches.Initially, seven parameters were used for the fuzzy logic system(FLS),and then twenty-five different attributes of the kidney dataset were used for the artificial neural network(ANN)and deep extreme machine learning(DEML).The expert system was proposed with the assistance of medical experts. For the quick and accurate evaluation of the proposed system,Matlab version 2019 was used. The proposed SMOIKD-FLSANN-DEML expert system has shown 94.16%accuracy.Hence this study concluded that SMOIKD-FLS-ANN-DEML system is effective to accurately diagnose kidney disease at initial levels.Abdul Hannan Khan Muhammad Adnan Khan Sagheer Abbas Shahan Yamin Siddiqui Muhammad Aanwar Saeed Majed Alfayad Nouh Sabri Elmitwally 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,5:2

17Decision Making Algorithmic Approaches Based on Parameterization of Neutrosophic Set under Hypersoft Set Environment with Fuzzy, Intuitionistic Fuzzy and Neutrosophic Settings显示文摘Hypersoft set is an extension of soft set as it further partitions each attribute into its corresponding attribute-valued set. This structure is more flexible and useful as it addresses the limitation of soft set for dealing with the scenarios having disjoint attribute-valued sets corresponding to distinct attributes. The main purpose of this study is to make the existing literature regarding neutrosophic parameterized soft set in line with the need of multi-attribute approximate function.Firstly,we conceptualize the neutrosophic parameterized hypersoft sets under the settings of fuzzy set, intuitionistic fuzzy set and neutrosophic set along with some of their elementary properties and set theoretic operations.Secondly,we propose decision-making-based algorithms with the help of these theories. Moreover, illustrative examples are presented which depict the structural validity for successful application to the problems involving vagueness and uncertainties.Lastly, the generalization of the proposed structure is discussed.Atiqe Ur Rahman Muhammad Saeed Sultan S.Alodhaibi Hamiden Abd El-Wahed Khalifa 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,8:2
18In vivo screening of essential oils of Skimmia laureola leaves for antinociceptive and antipyretic activity显示文摘Objective:To study the screening of essential oils of Skimmia laureola leaves(SLO)for acute toxicity, antinociceptive, antipyretic and anticonvulsant activities in various animal models. Methods:SLO were extracted using modified Clevenger type apparatus.Acute toxicity test was used in mice to observe its safety level.Antinociceptive activity of SLO was evaluated in acetic acid induced writhing and hot plate tests.Yeast induced hyperthermic mice and pentylenetetrazole induced convulsive mice were used for the assessment of its antipyretic and anticonvulsant profile respectively. Results:Substantial safety was observed for SLO in acute toxicity test.SLO showed a high significant activity in acetic acid induced writhing test in a dose dependent manner with maximum pain attenuation of 68.48%at 200 mg/kg i.p.However,it did not produce any relief in thermal induced pain at test doses. When challenged against pyrexia evoked by yeast,SLO manifested marked amelioration in hyperthermic mice, dose dependently.Maximum anti-hyperthermic activity(75%)was observed at 200 mg/kg i.p.after 4 h of drug administration.Nevertheless,SLO had no effect on seizures control and mortality caused by pentylenetetrazole. Conclusions:In vivo studies of SLO showed prominent antinociceptive and antipyretic activities with ample safety profile and thus provided pharmacological base for the traditional uses of the plant in various painful conditions and pyrexia.Additional detail studies are required to ascertain its clinical application.Naveed Muhammad Barkatullah Muhammad Ibrar Haroon Khan Muhammad Saeed Amir Zada Khan Waqar Ahmad Kaleem 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013,3,3:2
19MHD Maxwell Fluid with Heat Transfer Analysis under Ramp Velocity and Ramp Temperature Subject to Non-Integer Differentiable Operators显示文摘The main focus of this study is to investigate the impact of heat generation/absorption with ramp velocity and ramp temperature on magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)time-dependent Maxwell fluid over an unbounded plate embedded in a permeable medium.Non-dimensional parameters along with Laplace transformation and inversion algorithms are used to find the solution of shear stress, energy, and velocity profile.Recently, new fractional differential operators are used to define ramped temperature and ramped velocity. The obtained analytical solutions are plotted for different values of emerging parameters.Fractional time derivatives are used to analyze the impact of fractional parameters(memory effect)on the dynamics of the fluid. While making a comparison,it is observed that the fractional-order model is best to explain the memory effect as compared to classical models. Our results suggest that the velocity profile decrease by increasing the effective Prandtl number. The existence of an effective Prandtl number may reflect the control of the thickness of momentum and enlargement of thermal conductivity. The incremental value of the M is observed for a decrease in the velocity field, which reflects to control resistive force.Further,it is noted that the Atangana-Baleanu derivative in Caputo sense(ABC)is the best to highlight the dynamics of the fluid. The influence of pertinent parameters is analyzed graphically for velocity and energy profile.Expressions for skin friction and Nusselt number are also derived for fractional differential operators.Thabet Abdeljawad Muhammad Bilal Riaz Syed Tauseef Saeed Nazish Iftikhar 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,2:2
20Week Ahead Electricity Power and Price Forecasting Using Improved DenseNet-121 Method显示文摘In the Smart Grid(SG)residential environment, consumers change their power consumption routine according to the price and incentives announced by the utility, which causes the prices to deviate from the initial pattern.Thereby, electricity demand and price forecasting play a significant role and can help in terms of reliability and sustainability.Due to the massive amount of data, big data analytics for forecasting becomes a hot topic in the SG domain. In this paper, the changing and non-linearity of consumer consumption pattern complex data is taken as input. To minimize the computational cost and complexity of the data, the average of the feature engineering approaches includes:Recursive Feature Eliminator(RFE),Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGboost),Random Forest(RF),and are upgraded to extract the most relevant and significant features. To this end,we have proposed the DensetNet-121 network and Support Vector Machine(SVM)ensemble with Aquila Optimizer(AO)to ensure adaptability and handle the complexity of data in the classification.Further, the AO method helps to tune the parameters of DensNet(121 layers)and SVM,which achieves less training loss, computational time, minimized overfitting problems and more training/test accuracy.Performance evaluation metrics and statistical analysis validate the proposed model results are better than the benchmark schemes. Our proposed method has achieved a minimal value of the Mean Average Percentage Error(MAPE)rate i.e.,8%by DenseNet-AO and 6%by SVM-AO and the maximum accurateness rate of 92%and 95%,respectively.Muhammad Irfan Ali Raza Faisal Althobiani Nasir Ayub Muhammad Idrees Zain Ali Kashif Rizwan Abdullah Saeed Alwadie Saleh Mohammed Ghonaim Hesham Abdushkour Saifur Rahman Omar Alshorman Samar Alqhtani 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,9:2
