| 3 | Anomaly Based Camera Prioritization in Large Scale Surveillance Networks显示文摘Digital surveillance systems are ubiquitous and continuously generate massive amounts of data,and manual monitoring is required in order to recognise human activities in public areas.Intelligent surveillance systems that can automatically identify normal and abnormal activities are highly desirable,as these would allow for efficient monitoring by selecting only those camera feeds in which abnormal activities are occurring.This paper proposes an energy-efficient camera prioritisation framework that intelligently adjusts the priority of cameras in a vast surveillance network using feedback from the activity recognition system.The proposed system addresses the limitations of existing manual monitoring surveillance systems using a three-step framework.In the first step,the salient frames are selected from the online video stream using a frame differencing method.A lightweight 3D convolutional neural network(3DCNN)architecture is applied to extract spatio-temporal features from the salient frames in the second step.Finally,the probabilities predicted by the 3DCNN network and the metadata of the cameras are processed using a linear threshold gate sigmoid mechanism to control the priority of the camera.The proposed system performs well compared to state-of-theart violent activity recognition methods in terms of efficient camera prioritisation in large-scale surveillance networks.Comprehensive experiments and an evaluation of activity recognition and camera prioritisation showed that our approach achieved an accuracy of 98%with an F1-score of 0.97 on the Hockey Fight dataset,and an accuracy of 99%with an F1-score of 0.98 on the Violent Crowd dataset. | Altaf Hussain Khan Muhammad Hayat Ullah Amin Ullah Ali Shariq Imran Mi Young Lee Seungmin Rho Muhammad Sajjad | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,2: | 1 |
| 4 | MWCNTs/SWCNTs Nanofluid Thin Film Flow over a Nonlinear Extending Disc: OHAM Solution显示文摘The aim of this research is the improvement towards the consumption of energy in the field of engineering and industry. The efforts have been paid to the enhancement of heat transmission and cooling process through a nanofluid coating of a nonlinear stretching disc. The combination of Water(H2 O) and multiple walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNT)/single walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT) have been used as a nanofluid. The spreading of a thin nano-layer with variable thickness over a nonlinear and radially stretching surface has been considered. The estimated results of the problem have been accomplished using the Optimal Homotopy Analysis Method(OHAM). The residual errors of the OHAM method have been shown physically and numerically. The important physical parameters of skin friction and Nusselt number have been calculated and discussed. The other embedding parameters like generalized magnetic parameter, Prantl number, nanofluid volume fraction and Eckert number have been intended and discussed. The obtained results have been compared with the Numerical(ND-Solve) method for both sorts of CNTs. | 10 | A Discrete Model of TB Dynamics in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-Pakistan显示文摘The present paper investigates the theoretical analysis of the tuberculosis(TB)model in the discrete-time case.The model is parameterized by the TB infection cases in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between 2002 and 2017.The model is parameterized and the basic reproduction number is obtained and it is found R_(0)=1:5853.The stability analysis for the model is presented and it is shown that the discrete-time tuberculosis model is stable at the disease-free equilibrium whenever R_(0)<1 and further we establish the results for the endemic equilibria and prove that the model is globally asymptotically stable if R_(0)>1.A discrete fractional model in the sense of Caputo derivative is presented.The numerical results of the model with various parameters and their effect on the model are presented.A comparison of discrete-time method with continuous-time model is presented graphically.A discrete fractional approach is compared with the existing method in literature and some reasonable results are achieved.Finally,a summary of results and conclusion are presented. | Muhammad Altaf Khan Khanadan Khan Mohammad A.Safi Mahmoud H.DarAssi | 2020 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,5: | 0 |
