1Comparsion analysis of data mining models applied to clinical research in Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To help researchers selecting appropriate data mining models to provide better evidence for the clinical practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) diagnosis and therapy.METHODS: Clinical issues based on data mining models were comprehensively summarized from four significant elements of the clinical studies:symptoms, symptom patterns, herbs, and efficacy.Existing problems were further generalized to determine the relevant factors of the performance of data mining models, e.g. data type, samples, parameters, variable labels. Combining these relevant factors, the TCM clinical data features were compared with regards to statistical characters and informatics properties. Data models were compared simultaneously from the view of applied conditions and suitable scopes.RESULTS: The main application problems were the inconsistent data type and the small samples for the used data mining models, which caused the inappropriate results, even the mistake results. 2Dietary supplementation with Clostridium butyricum improves growth performance of broilers by regulating intestinal microbiota and mucosal epithelial cells显示文摘Clostridium butyricum has been widely considered an antibiotic substitute in recent years.It can promote growth performance,improve the immune response and enhance the intestinal barrier function of the host.In the present study,1-d-old Arbor Acres(AA)broilers were fed C.butyricum(1×109 cfu/kg)for 28 d.The transcriptomic characteristics of epithelial cells of the cecal mucosa were determined by RNA-sequence,and the cecal microbiota composition was explored by 16 S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing.The changes in the intestinal mucosa of broilers were then analyzed by tissue staining.Gene Ontology(GO)annotations identified substance transport and processes and pathways that might participate in intestinal development and cell viability.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes are involved in numerous pathways related to amino acid and vitamin metabolism and antioxidant and defensive functions,among others.The relative expression of some genes associated with intestinal barrier function(claudins 2,15,19,and 23,tight junction proteins 1,2,and 3 and mucin 1)was significantly increased in the treatment group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Moreover,the proportion of Firmicutes was higher in the C.butyricum-treated group,whereas the proportion of Proteobacteria was higher in the control group.At the genus level,the relative abundances of Butyricicoccus and Lactobacillus,among other bacteria,were increased after C.butyricum supplementation.The tissue staining analysis showed that the cecal mucosa of broilers was significantly ameliorated after the addition of C.butyricum(P<0.05 or P<0.01).These results showed that dietary supplementation with C.butyricum can enhance the antioxidant capacity,mucosal barrier function,and stabilize the cecal microbiota,resulting in improving the growth performance.Laipeng Xu Xiangli Sun Xianhua Wan Keke Li Fuchun Jian Wenting Li Ruirui Jiang Ruili Han Hong Li Xiangtao Kang Yanbin Wang 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:12

5Characterization of aroma compounds of Pu-erh ripen tea using solvent assisted flavor evaporation coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and gas chromatography-olfactometry显示文摘Pu-erh ripen tea becomes popular worldwide owing to its unique taste and aroma.In the present study,volatile compounds from Pu-erh ripen tea were extracted using a solvent assisted flavor evaporation(SAFE)and analyzed with a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and a gas chromatography olfactometry(GC-O).Results demonstrated that 58 major volatile compounds and 24 aroma active substances of Pu-erh ripen tea were identified by GC-MS and GC-O analysis.Among volatile compounds identified,methoxyphenyl compounds were considered as the dominate compounds in the aroma of Pu-erh ripen tea.Further investigation showed that 6 methoxybenzenes were responsible for the aging aroma in Pu-erh ripen tea;α-ionone,3,4-dimethoxytoluene,1,3-dimethoxybenzene,etc.were responsible for the wood-like aroma.Linalool,α-terpineol,α-ionone,β-ionone,and benzeneacetaldehyde were responsible for the floral odor.Compared the odor detection threshold(ODT)among the 8 methoxyphenyl compounds in water,1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene showed the highest ODT,followed by 3,4-dimethoxyphenol.1,3-dimethoxybenzene(105μg/L)and 1,2,3-trimethoxy-5-methylbenzene(100μg/L)were present at relatively low odor threshold values.The result indicated that methoxyphenyl compounds play a vital role in the unique flavor of Pu-erh ripen tea.Bei Wang Qing Meng Lin Xiao Ruili Li Chunhai Peng Xueli Liao Jingna Yan Honglin Liu Guanhua Xie Chi-Tang Ho Huarong Tong 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,3:6
6Incorporating the magnetic alignment of GO composites into Pebax matrix for gas separation显示文摘The mixed matrix membranes(MMMs) were developed by incorporating graphite oxide(GO) flakes functionalized with iron oxide(Fe_3O_4) into Pebax matrix. The Pebax/Fe_3O_4–GO MMMs were used to separate CO_2/CH_4 and CO_2/N_2 gas mixture. The results showed that the MMMs with magnetic alignment presented the better gas separation performance than that of random arrangement of Pebax/Fe_3O_4–GO mixed matrix membranes. The reason was that the Fe_3O_4–GO flakes arranged magnetically in the membrane played a multiple role in improving the performance of MMMs. Firstly, under the action of the magnetic field,the magnetic alignment of Fe_3O_4–GO flakes in Pebax matrix constructed the shorter transfer path for gas molecule, increasing the CO_2 permeability. Secondly, the hydroxyl groups in GO flakes and the presence of Fe_3O_4 have stronger binding force for water, improving the CO_2 solubility selectivity. Thirdly, the better interaction between the magnetic alignment of GO composites and polymer matrix, reduced the interface defects. 7Germination and early seedling growth of Pinus densata Mast.provenances显示文摘We studied seed germination and early seedling growth of Pinus densata to explore the range of variability within the species and to inform afforestation practices.Phenotypes were evaluated at a forest tree nursery under conditions that support Pinus yunnanensis, one of the presumed parental species of P. densata. Seeds were collected from 20 open-pollinated trees within each of eight autochthonous populations representing the natural distribution of P. densata in China to assess variation in germination traits and early seedling growth, and to examine the relationships among these traits. Results showed that seeds from all populations germinated and seedlings established successfully. There were significant differences among populations in 13 of 14 traits evaluated. Seed germination and early seedling growth were strongly related to seed size and seed weight. Bigger seeds germinated earlier and faster than small seeds, and seedling size was positively correlated with seed size. Some germination traits were strongly and significantly correlated with climatic variables associated with the provenance of the studied populations. Based on these observations, we conclude there were large, significant, and biologically important differences among P. densata populations in seed germination and seedling growth traits. 8Biodistribution of fullerene derivative C_(60)(OH)_x(O)_y显示文摘The biological behavior of fullerene derivatives shows their considerable potential application in medicine field. To understand the biodistribution of C60 derivatives as drugs or drug carriers, a simple water-soluble derivative C60(OH)x(O)y was labeled with 99mTc. A r-counter and a single photo emission computed tomography (SPECT) were used to assess the biodistribution and metabolism of the labeled compound in mice and rabbits, respectively. The results showed that the compound could be absorbed rapidly by tissues, especially by coronal bone, breastbone, backbone, extremity honeycomb, liver and spleen. The clearance was slow from all tissues except for brain. The compound might be excreted through urine and enteron. The biodistribution shows some difference from that of Yamago et al. In this note, we discuss the possible reason leading to the difference. 9Identification of novel QTL associated with soybean isoflavone content显示文摘Soybean isoflavones are essential secondary metabolites synthesized in the phenylpropanoid pathway and benefit human health. In the present study, highresolution QTL mapping for isoflavone components was performed using specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-seq) with a recombinant inbred line(RIL) population(F5:7) derived from a cross between two cultivated soybean varieties, Luheidou 2(LHD2) and Nanhuizao(NHZ). Using a high-density genetic map comprising 3541 SLAF markers and the isoflavone contents of soybean seeds in the 200 lines in four environments, 24 stable QTL were identified for isoflavone components, explaining 4.2%–21.2% of phenotypic variation.Of these QTL, four novel stable QTL(qG8, qMD19, qMG18, and qTIF19) were identified for genistin, malonyldaidzin, malonylgenistin, and total isoflavones, respectively. Gene annotation revealed three genes involved in isoflavone biosynthesis(Gm4CL, GmIFR, and GmCHR) and 13 MYB-like genes within genomic regions corresponding to stable QTL intervals, suggesting candidate genes underlying these loci. Nine epistatic QTL were identified for isoflavone components, explaining 4.7%–15.6% of phenotypic variation. These results will facilitate understanding the genetic basis of isoflavone accumulation in soybean seeds. 10Luminous composite ultrathin films of CdTe quantum dots/silk fibroin co-assembled with layered doubled hydroxide:Enhanced photoluminescence and biosensor application显示文摘Quantum dots(QDs)luminescent films are extensively applied to optoelectronics and optical devices.However,QDs aggregation results in the quenching of their fluorescence property which limits their practical applications to a greater extent.In order to resolve this issue,3-mercaptopropionic acid(3-MPA)functionalized Cadmium Tellurium(CdTe)QDs were stabilized by silk fibroin(SB)and coassembled with layered doubled hydroxide(LDH)to form(QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)ultrathin films(UTFs)via the layer-by-layer(LBL)technique.UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy showed a stepwise and normal growth of the films upon increasing the number of deposition cycles.XRD and AFM studies confirmed the formation of a periodic layered structure and regular surface morphology of the thin films.As compared to(CdTe QDs/LDH)_(n)UTFs,the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)UTFs displayed fluorescence enhancement and longer fluorescent lifetime,both in solid states and aqueous solutions.Furthermore compared with the solution state,the fluorescence enhancement of SF-RC and SF-β are,respectively,7 times and 17 times in the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)UTFs,indicating that the LDH nanosheets favor the fluorescence enhancement effect on the CdTe QDs@SF.The fabricated materials displayed fluorescence response to a biological molecule such as immune globulin,lgG.Thus,the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)_(n)UTFs has a potential to be used as biosensor.Muhammad Sohail Haroone Ling Li Aftab Ahmad Yaping Huang Ruili Ma Ping Zhang Yuehua Hu Qari Muhammad Kaleem Jun Lu 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,2:3

12Preparation and adsorption performance of multi-morphology H_(1.6)Mn_(1.6)O_(4) for lithium extraction显示文摘In this paper,a lithium-ion sieve(LIS)with different morphologies,such as rod-like(LIS-R),spherical(LIS-S),flower-like(LIS-F),and three-dimensional macroporous-mesoporous(LIS-3D),was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis,solid reaction,and hard-template synthesis.The results showed that the LIS with different morphologies presented great differences in specific surface area,pore volume,adsorption selectivity,and structure stability.LIS-3D with highest specific surface area and pore volume displayed the maximum adsorption capacity and adsorption rate,but the stability of LIS-3D was poor because of the manganese dissolution.By comparison,LIS-S has the best structural stability while maintaining a satisfactory adsorption capacity(35.02 mg·g^(-1))and adsorption rate.The LIS-S remained about 90%of the original adsorption capacity after five cycles of adsorption-desorption process.In addition,in the simulated brine system(the magnesium to lithium ratio of 400),the LIS-S exhibited the highest selectivity(α_(Mg)^(Li))of 425.14.In sum,the LIS-S with good morphology is a potential adsorbent for lithium extraction from brine.Xiulei Li Baifu Tao Qingyuan Jia Ruili Guo 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6:3
13OsCYCP4s coordinate phosphate starvation signaling with cell cycle progression in rice显示文摘Phosphate starvation leads to a strong reduction in shoot growth and yield in crops.The reduced shoot growth is caused by extensive gene expression reprogram-ming triggered by phosphate deficiency,which is not itself a direct consequence of low levels of shoot phosphorus.However,how phosphate starvation inhibits shoot growth in rice is still unclear.In this study,we determined the role of OsCYCP4s in the regulation of shoot growth in response to phosphate starvation in rice.We demonstrate that the ex-pression levels of OsCYCP4s,except OsCYCP4;3,were induced by phosphate starvation.Overexpression of the phosphate starvation induced OsCYCP4s could compete with the other cyclins for the binding with cyclin-dependent kinases,therefore suppressing growth by reducing cell proliferation.The phosphate starvation induced growth inhibition in the loss-of-function mutants cycp4;1,cycp4;2,and cycp4;4 is par-tially compromised.Furthermore,the expression of some phosphate starvation inducible genes is negatively modu-lated by these cyclins,which indicates that these OsCYCP4s may also be involved in phosphate starvation signaling.We conclude that phosphate starvation induced OsCYCP4s might coordinate phosphate starvation signaling and cell cycle progression under phosphate starvation stress.Lei Xu Fang Wang Ruili Li Minjuan Deng Meilan Fu Huiying Teng Keke Yi 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,7:2
14ATP11B deficiency leads to impairment of hippocampal synaptic plasticity显示文摘Synaptic plasticity is known to regulate and support signal transduction between neurons, while synaptic dysfunction contributes to multiple neurological and other brain disorders;however, the specific mechanism underlying this process remains unclear. In the present study, abnormal neural and dendritic morphology was observed in the hippocampus following knockout of Atpllb both in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, ATP11B modified synaptic ultrastructure and promoted spine remodeling via the asymmetrical distribution of phosphatidylserine and enhancement of glutamate release, glutamate receptor expression, and intracellular Ca^2+ concentration. Fuithermoe experimental results also indicate that ATP11B regulated synaptic plasticity in hippocampal neurons through the MAPK14 signaling pathway. 15Solid phase microwave-assisted fabrication of Fe-doped ZIF-8 for single-atom Fe-N-C electrocatalysts on oxygen reduction显示文摘Fe-N-C endowed with inexpensiveness,high activity,and excellent anti-poisoning power have emerged as promising candidate catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Single-atom Fe-N-C electrocatalysts derived from Fe-doped ZIF-8 represent the top-level ORR performance.However,the current fabrication of Fe-doped ZIF-8 relies on heavy consumption of time,energy,cost and organic solvents.Herein,we develop a rapid and solvent-free method to produce Fe-doped ZIF-8 under microwave irradiation,which can be easily amplified in combination with ball-milling.After rational pyrolysis,Fe-N-C catalysts with atomic FeN4 sites well dispersed on the hierarchically porous carbon matrix are obtained,which exhibit exceptional ORR performance with a half-wave potential of 0.782 V(vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE))and brilliant methanol tolerance.The assembled direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs)endow a peak power density of 61 mW cm^(-2) and extraordinary stability,highlighting the application perspective of this strategy.Xinlong Xu Xiaoming Zhang Zhangxun Xia Ruili Sun Huanqiao Li Junhu Wang Shansheng Yu Suli Wang Gongquan Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:2
16The small GTPase RABA2a recruits SNARE proteins to regulate the secretory pathway in parallel with the exocyst complex in Arabidopsis显示文摘Delivery of proteins to the plasma membrane occurs via secretion,which requires tethering,docking,priming,and fusion of vesicles.In yeast and mammalian cells,an evolutionarily conserved RAB GTPase activation cascade functions together with the exocyst and SNARE proteins to coordinate vesicle transport with fusion at the plasma membrane.However,it is unclear whether this is the case in plants.In this study,we show that the small GTPase RABA2a recruits and interacts with the VAMP721/722-SYP121-SNAP33 SNARE ternary complex for membrane fusion.Through immunoprecipitation coupled with mass spectrometry analysis followed by the validatation with a series of biochemical assays,we identified the SNARE proteins VAMP721 and SYP121 as the interactors and downstream effectors of RABA2a.Further expreiments showed that RABA2a interacts with all members of the SNARE complex in its GTP-bound form and modulates the assembly of the VAMP721/722-SYP121-SNAP33 SNARE ternary complex.Intriguingly,we did not observe the interaction of the exocyst subunits with either RABA2a or theSNARE proteins in several different experiments.Neither RABA2a inactivation affects the subcellular localization or assembly of the exocystnor the exocyst subunit mutant exo84b shows the disrupted RABA2a-SNARE association or SNARE assembly,suggesting that the RABA2a-SNARE-and exocyst-mediated secretory pathways are largely independent.Consistently,our live imaging experiments reveal that the two sets of proteins follow non-overlapping trafficking routes,and genetic and cell biologyanalyses indicate that the two pathways select different cargos.Finally,we demonstrate that the plant-specific RABA2a-SNARE pathway is essential for the maintenance of potassium homeostasis in Arabisopsis seedlings.Collectively,our findings imply that higher plants might have generated different endomembrane sorting pathways during evolution and may enable the highly conserved endomembrane proteins to participate in plant-specific trafficking mechanisms for adaptation to the changing environment.Lei Pang Zhiming Ma Xi Zhang Yuanzhi Huang Ruili Li Yansong Miao Ruixi Li 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,3:2
17Mixed matrix membrane containing metal oxide nanosheets for efficient CO_(2)separation显示文摘The two-dimensional(2D)nanosheet zinc cobaltate(ZnCo_(2)O_(4))was added into polyether block amide(Pebax)matrix to prepare mixing matrix membrane(MMM)for separating carbon dioxide(CO_(2))/methane(CH4)gas mixture.The 2D porous ZnCo_(2)O_(4)nanosheets were composed of chemically interconnected metal oxide nanoparticles.The ZnCo_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles in the nanosheets constructed large-quantity pores of 11.78 nm and provided abundant transfer channels for gas molecule.Moreover,the synergistic effect of bimetallic Zn^(2+)and Co^(2+)would promote the generation of oxygen vacancies(Oδ-),which could provide more CO_(2)(Cδ+)adsorption sites,thereby increased the selectivity of the membrane.The large aspect ratio of the ultra-thin ZnCo_(2)O_(4)nanosheets showed better dispersion in the membrane.The pure gas separation performance data showed the CO_(2)permeability and CO_(2)/CH4 selectivity of Pebax/ZnCo_(2)O_(4)membrane were 139.10 Barrer and 15.38,respectively,when the filling amount was 0.5 wt%.Compared with pure Pebax membrane,the separation performance(permeability and selectivity)were increased with 165.67%and 75.57%,respectively.Weifang Zhu Fu Liu Minmin Gou Ruili Guo Xueqin Li 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,1:2
18Floralozone protects endothelial function in atherosclerosis by ameliorating NHE1显示文摘Endothelial dysfunction is the pathological basis of atherosclerosis.Incomplete understanding of endothelial dysfunction etiology has impeded drug development for this devastating disease despite the currently available therapies.Floralozone,an aroma flavor,specifically exists in rabbit ear grass.Recently,floralozone has been demonstrated to inhibit atherosclerosis,but the underlying mechanisms are undefined.The present study was undertaken to explore whether floralozone pharmacologically targets endothelial dysfunction and therefore exerts therapeutic effects on atherosclerosis.The Na+/H+exchanger 1(NHE1),a channel protein,plays a vital role in atherosclerosis.Whether NHE1 is involved in the therapeutic effects of floralozone on endothelial dysfunction has yet to be further answered.By performing oil red staining and hematoxylin–eosin staining,vascular functional study,and oxidative stress monitoring,we found that floralozone not only reduced the size of carotid atherosclerotic plaque but also prevented endothelial dysfunction in atherosclerotic rats.NHE1 expression was upregulated in the inner membrane of carotid arteries and H2O2-induced primary rat aortic endothelial cells.Inspiringly,floralozone prevented the upregulation of NHE1 in vivo and in vitro.Notably,the administration of NHE1 activator LiCl significantly weakened the protective effect of floralozone on endothelial dysfunction in vivo and in vitro.Our study demonstrated that floralozone exerted its protective effect on endothelial dysfunction in atherosclerosis by ameliorating NHE1.NHE1 maybe a drug target for the treatment of atherosclerosis,and floralozone may be an effective drug to meet the urgent needs of atherosclerosis patients by dampening NHE1.Ning Huang Yue Qiu Yanhua Liu Tianheng Liu Xianjun Xue Ping Song Jian Xu Yutian Fu Ruili Sun Yaling Yin Peng Li 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,10:2

20Design Technologies for Silicon-Based High-Efficiency RF Power Amplifiers:A Brief Overview显示文摘This paper presents a brief overview of several promising design technologies for high efficiency silicon-based radio frequency(RF) power amplifiers(PAs) as well as the use of these technologies in mobile broadband wireless communications.Four important aspects of PA design are addressed in this paper.First,we look at class-E PA design equations and provide an example of a class-E PA that achieves efficiency of 65-70% at 2.4 GHz.Then,we discuss state-of-the-art envelope tracking(ET) design for monolithic wideband RF mobile transmitter applications.A brief overview of Doherty PA design for the next-generation wireless handset applications is then given.Towards the end of the paper,we discuss an inherently broadband and highly efficient class-J PA design targeting future multi-band multi-standard wireless communication protocols.Ruili Wu Jerry Lopez Yan Li Donald Y.C.Lie 2011ZTE Communications2011,9,3:1
