1Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation of effect of baffles on separation in mixer settler显示文摘The main ideas in the development of the solvent extraction mixer settler focused on achieving clean phase separation,minimizing the loss of the reagents and decreasing the surface area of the settlers.The role of baffles in a mechanically agitated vessel is to ensure even distribution,reduce settler turbulence,promote the stability of power drawn by the impeller and to prevent swirling and vortexing of liquid,thus,greatly improving the mixing of liquid.The insertion of the appropriate number of baffles clearly improves the extent of liquid mixing.However,excessive baffling would interrupt liquid mixing and lengthen the mixing time.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) provides a tool for determining detailed information on fluid flow(hydrodynamics) which is necessary for modeling subprocesses in mixer settler.A total of 54 final CFD runs were carried out representing different combinations of variables like number of baffles,density and impeller speed.CFD data shows that amount of separation increases with increasing baffles number and decreasing impeller speed.Mohsen Ostad Shabani Ali Mazahery Mehdi Alizadeh Ali Asghar Tofigh Mohammad Reza Rahimipour Mansour Razavi Alireza Kolahi 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,5:12

3Numerical and Performance Analysis of one row Transonic Rotor with Sweep and Lean angle显示文摘In this study,aerodynamic behaviors of swept and leaned blades were investigated.Axial and tangential blade curvatures impacts on compressor's operating parameters were analyzed separately.A commercial CFD program which solves the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations was used to find out the mentioned impact and the complicated flow field of transonic compressor-rotors.The CFD method that was used for solving flow field's equation was validated by experimental data of NASA Rotor 67.The results showed that the compressor with curved rotors had higher efficiency,rotor pressure ratio and stable operating range compared to the compressor with un-curved rotors.Using curved rotors mostly had higher impact on the overall stable operating range compared to the other operating parameters.Operating range involves choking point and stall point that were changed separately by using of bended blade.For finding the detailed impact of sweep and lean angle on transonic blades,various forms of lean and sweep angles were exerted to basic rotor.It was found that sweep angles increased overall operating range up to 30%,efficiency up to 2%and pressure ratio up to 1%.Leaning the blades increased the safe operating range,the pressure ratio and efficiency by 14%,4%and 2%respectively.Seyed Reza Razavi Masoud Boroom 2014Journal of Thermal Science2014,23,5:4
4Synthesis,Contact Printing,and Device Characterization of Ni-Catalyzed,Crystalline InAs Nanowires显示文摘InAs nanowires have been actively explored as the channel material for high performance transistors owing to their high electron mobility and ease of ohmic metal contact formation.The catalytic growth of nonepitaxial InAs nanowires,however,has often relied on the use of Au colloids which is non-CMOS compatible.Here,we demonstrate the successful synthesis of crystalline InAs nanowires with high yield and tunable diameters by using Ni nanoparticles as the catalyst material on amorphous SiO_(2) substrates.The nanowires show superb electrical properties with field-effect electron mobility~2700 cm^(2)/Vs and ION/IOFF>10^(3).The uniformity and purity of the grown InAs nanowires are further demonstrated by large-scale assembly of parallel arrays of nanowires on substrates via the contact printing process that enables high performance,“printable”transistors,capable of delivering 510 mA ON currents(~400 nanowires).Alexandra C.Ford Johnny C.Ho Zhiyong Fan Onur Ergen Virginia Altoe Shaul Aloni Haleh Razavi Ali Javey 2008Nano Research2008,1,1:3
5冷轧焊接制备Ag/Al双金属材料的扩散和相转变(英文)显示文摘通过轧制Al条和Ag条制备Ag/Al双金属条。为使Al和Ag条之间发生冷焊,对表面进行处理并设置不同的轧制压下量。实验表明:发生冷焊的最小临界轧制厚度压下量为70%,相当于轧制形状因子0.1630。对双金属条进行均匀化退火,于400°C保温不同时间。利使用扫描电子显微镜观察Al/Ag界面,研究可能存在的硬脆相。通过EDS分析和线扫描分析退火时间对扩散距离和相转变的影响。在界面上Ag侧观察到一个扩散区,其宽度随退火时间的延长而增加。退火处理3h后在靠近界面处观察到一些δ相,而且随着退火时间的延长,δ相变得更粗、更连续。显微硬度测试表明:尽管通过均匀化退火生成δ相,界面硬度却有所降低。Hossein OLIA Mehrdad ABBASI Seyed Hossein RAZAVI 2012Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2012,22,2:3
6Iran supports a great share of biodiversity and floristic endemism for Fritillaria spp.(Liliaceae):A review显示文摘Iran supports a great share of exotic and/or endemic plant genera and species. The genus Fritillaria(Liliaceae) is a precious part of this botanical richness with 19 species, of which 10 are endemic to the country. However, signs are mounting that the country is truly at a crossroads when it comes to preservation of this national wealth. In this regard, an effective conservation strategy should thoroughly consider the classification of Fritillaria, as conservation practices are compromised by knowledge gaps in systematics and taxonomy. 9SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NANOSTRUCTURED-SEGMENTED BLOCK COPOLYETHERAMIDE BASED ON NYLON6 AND POLY(ETHYLENE OXIDE)显示文摘Segmented block copolymer based on nylon6(N6) and polyethylene oxide(PEO) with stochiometric ratio was synthesized via a two-step process.The first step represents end capping of N6 in the presence of adipic acid leading to carboxy terminated N6,and the second one is polycondensation of the latter product with PEO in the presence of catalyst and thermostabilizer to form a high molecular weight multi-block copolymer.Several methods were applied to characterize the synthesized copolymer such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy,differential thermal analysis,differential scanning calorimetry,X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy. The obtained results confirmed the multi-block structure for copolymer with a very high degree of micro-phase separation. 11Effects of turmeric(Curcuma longa)and its constituent(curcumin)on the metabolic syndrome:An updated review显示文摘Metabolic syndrome(MS)involves people with the following risk factors:obesity,hypertension,high glucose level and hyperlipidemia.It can increase the risk of heart disease,stroke and type 2 diabetes mellitus.The prevalence of MS in the world’s adult population is about 20%–25%.Today,there is much care to use medicinal plants.Turmeric(Curcuma longa)as well as curcumin which is derived from the rhizome of the plant,has been shown beneficial effects on different components of MS.Thus,the purpose of this manuscript was to introduce different in vitro,in vivo and human studies regarding the effect of turmeric and its constituent on MS.Moreover,different mechanisms of action by which this plant overcomes MS have been introduced.Based on studies,turmeric and its bioactive component,curcumin,due to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties,have antidiabetic effects through increasing insulin release,antihyperlipidemic effects by increasing fatty acid uptake,anti-obesity effects by decreasing lipogenesis,and antihypertensive effects by increasing nitric oxide.According to several in vivo,in vitro and human studies,it can be concluded that turmeric or curcumin has important values as a complementary therapy in MS.However,more clinical trials should be done to confirm these effects.Zeinab Vafaeipour Bibi Marjan Razavi Hossein Hosseinzadeh 2022Journal of Integrative Medicine2022,20,3:2
