1High-Performance Flexible Asymmetric Supercapacitor Based on CoAl-LDH and rGO Electrodes显示文摘A flexible asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)based on a Co Al-layered double hydroxide(Co Al-LDH)electrode and a reduced graphene oxide(r GO) electrode was successfully fabricated. The Co Al-LDH electrode as a positive electrode was synthesized by directly growing Co Al-LDH nanosheet arrays on a carbon cloth(CC)through a facile hydrothermal method, and it delivered a specific capacitance of 616.9 F g^(-1)at a current density of1 A g^(-1). The r GO electrode as a negative electrode was synthesized by coating r GO on the CC via a simple dipcoating method and revealed a specific capacitance of110.0 F g^(-1)at a current density of 2 A g^(-1). 2Benefit of everolimus as a monotherapy for a refractory breast cancer patient bearing multiple genetic mutations in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway显示文摘A postmenopausal patient with a diagnosis of estrogen receptor(ER)(+), progesterone receptor(PR)(+), and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)(-) breast cancer was reported. The patient refused surgery and was resistant to conventional chemotherapy regimens. Computed tomography and the circulating tumor cell test indicated that the patient's tumor burden increased rapidly even after several chemotherapy sessions. Multiple genetic aberrances in the phosphatidylinositol3-kinases(PI3 K) signaling pathway were detected via next-generation sequencing(NGS)-based liquid biopsy, including a p. G1007 R missense mutation in exon 21 of PIK3 CA(33.61%), a p.L70 fs frameshift mutation in exon 3 of phosphatase and tension homolog deleted on chromosome ten(PTEN)(49.14%), and a p. D1542 Y missense mutation in exon 32 of mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)(1.66%). Therefore, only the m TOR inhibitor everolimus was administered to the patient. Partial remission(PR) was observed after 2 months, and sustained stable disease(SD) was observed after a year and a half. Subsequent sequencing showed that the mutation ratio of PIK3 CA decreased to 4.17%, and that the PTEN and m TOR mutations disappeared, which revealed the significant curative effect of everolimus. We report the first case of successful monotherapy treatment using everolimus in a patient with advanced breast cancer bearing mutations in genes involved in the PI3 K/ARK/m TOR signaling pathway. 4Chemotherapy initiation with single-course methotrexate alone or combined with dactinomycin versus multi-course methotrexate for low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia: a multi-centric randomized clinical trial显示文摘We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of single-course initial regimens in patients with low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia(GTN).In this trial (NCT01823315),276 patients were analyzed.Patients were allocated to three initiated regimens:single-course methotrexate(MTX),single-course MTX+dactinomycin(ACTD),and multi-course MTX(control arm).The primary endpoint was the complete remission(CR)rate by initial drug(s).The primary CR rate was 64.4%with multi-course MTX in the control arm.For the single-course MTX arm,the CR rate was 35.8%by one course;it increased to 59.3%after subsequent multi-course MTX,with non-inferiority to the control(difference-5.1%,95%confidence interval(CI)-19.4%to 9.2%,P=0.014).After further treatment with multi-course ACTD,the CR rate(93.3%)was similar to that of the control(95.2%,P=0.577).For the single-course MTX+ACTD arm,the CR rate was 46.7%by one course,which increased to 89.1%after subsequent multi-course,with non-inferiority(difference 24.7%,95%CI 12.8%-36.6%,P<0.001)to the control.It was similar to the CR rate by MTX and further ACTD in the control arm(89.1%vs.95.2%,P=0.135).Four patients experienced recurrence,with no death,during the 2-year follow-up.We demonstrated that chemotherapy initiation with single-course MTX may be an alternative regimen for patients with low-risk GTN.Lili Chen Ling Xi Jie Jiang Rutie Yin Pengpeng Qu Xiuqin Li Xiaoyun Wan Yaxia Chen Dongxiao Hu Yuyan Mao Zimin Pan Xiaodong Cheng Xinyu Wang Qingli Li Danhui Weng Xi Zhang Hong Zhang Quanhong Ping Xiaomei Liu Xing Xie Beihua Kong Ding Ma Weiguo Lu 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,2:2
5One-step preparation of carbon nanotubes with nickel as the core显示文摘CNTs with core-shell structure were successfully synthesized by a microwave-assisted polyol method,and magnetic Ni nanoparticles were employed as a catalyst. The preparation method is fast and simple. The structures,morphology and magnetic properties of the as-synthesized samples were investigated using Raman spectrometer,X-ray diffraction (XRD),transmission electron microscopy (TEM),vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM),respectively. The XRD results suggested that Ni particles used as a catalyst in our experiment were nano-sized. In this paper,magnetic Ni nanoparticles were employed as a catalyst,and an electric spark on metal Ni nanoparticles with the microwave eddy current effect could induce CNTs’ formation with the further reaction. The length of hollow carbon nanotubes was micro-sized and the diameters of most of the CNTs were varying from 18 to 20 nm according to the TEM images. 8Research Article In situ reconstruction induced oxygen-deficient multiphase Cu based species hybridized with Ni single atoms as tandem platform for CO_(2) electroreduction显示文摘Tandem catalysis,capable of decoupling individual steps,provides a feasible way to build a high-efficiency CO_(2) electro-conversion system for multicarbons(C_(2+)).The construction of electrocatalytic materials is one of focusing issues.Herein,we fabricated a single atom involved multivalent oxide-derived Cu composite material and found it inclined to reconstruct into oxygen-deficient multiphase Cu based species hybridized with monatomic Ni on N doped C matrix.In this prototype,rapid CO generation and C-C coupling are successively achieved on NiN4 sites and surface amorphized Cu species with defects,resembling a micro-production line.In this way,the in situ formed tandem catalyst exhibited a high Faradaic efficiency(FE)of~78%for C_(2+)products along with satisfactory durability over 50 h.Particularly,the reconstruction-induced amorphous layer with abundant asymmetric sites should be favorable to improve the ethanol selectivity(FE:63%),which is about 10 times higher than that of the non-tandem Cu-based contrast material.This work offers a new approach for manipulating tandem catalyst systems towards enhancing C_(2+)products.Juzhe Liu Yuheng Wang Pengpeng Mo Feng Yang Kaiqi Jiang Zhixiang Cheng Yuxuan Liu Zhiyi Sun Zheng Liu Yimei Zhang Wenxing Chen 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0
9Presence of multiple abnormal immunologic markers is an independent prognostic factor of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma显示文摘Autoimmune diseases (ADs) increase the risk of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and contribute to poor prognosis of patients. However, the association between immunologic markers and clinical outcome has rarely been investigated. This study aims to analyze the prognostic value of pretreatment immunologic markers in newly diagnosed patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). We retrospectively reviewed the data on 502 patients with DLBCL treated in our institution from January 2013 to March 2018. Survival functions were estimated using Kaplan Meier method and Cox regression model. The 3-year progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates were 70.2% and 80.9%, respectively, and the complete remission (CR) rate was 78.1%. Among the patients, those with multiple (≥3) abnormal immunologic markers had significantly shorter 3-year PFS (52.7% vs. 77.3%, P < 0.001) and OS (68.5% vs. 85.8%, P=0.001) than those without multiple abnormal immunologic markers.Multivariate analysis revealed that the presence of multiple abnormal immunologic markers and the elevated serum levels of lactate dehydrogenase were the independent adverse prognostic factors for PFS (P= 0.008, P < 0.001) and OS (P = 0.003, P < 0.001). Meanwhile, advanced Ann Arbor stage was an independent adverse prognostic factor for PFS (P= 0.001) and age > 60 years for OS (P= 0.014). 10Immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment contributes to tumor progression in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma upon anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T therapy显示文摘Anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cell therapy has achieved 40%–50%long-term complete response in relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)patients.However,the underlying mechanism of alterations in the tumor microenvironments resulting in CAR-T cell therapy failure needs further investigation.A multi-center phase I/II trial of anti-CD19 CD28z CAR-T(FKC876,ChiCTR1800019661)was conducted.Among 22 evaluable DLBCL patients,seven achieved complete remission,10 experienced partial remissions,while four had stable disease by day 29.Single-cell RNA sequencing results were obtained from core needle biopsy tumor samples collected from long-term complete remission and early-progressed patients,and compared at different stages of treatment.M2-subtype macrophages were significantly involved in both in vivo and in vitro anti-tumor functions of CAR-T cells,leading to CAR-T cell therapy failure and disease progression in DLBCL.Immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments persisted before CAR-T cell therapy,during both cell expansion and disease progression,which could not be altered by infiltrating CAR-T cells.Aberrant metabolism profile of M2-subtype macrophages and those of dysfunctional T cells also contributed to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments.Thus,our findings provided a clinical rationale for targeting tumor microenvironments and reprogramming immune cell metabolism as effective therapeutic strategies to prevent lymphoma relapse in future designs of CAR-T cell therapy.Zixun Yan Li Li Di Fu Wen Wu Niu Qiao Yaohui Huang Lu Jiang Depei Wu Yu Hu Huilai Zhang Pengpeng Xu Shu Cheng Li Wang Sahin Lacin Muharrem Muftuoglu Weili Zhao 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,4:0
11Prediction of high-density polyethylene pyrolysis using kinetic parameters based on thermogravimetric and artificial neural networks显示文摘Pyrolysis is considered an attractive option and a promising way to dispose waste plastics.The thermogravimetric experiments of high-density polyethylene(HDPE)were conducted from 105℃ to 900℃ at different heating rates(10℃/min,20℃/min,and 30℃/min)to investigate their thermal pyrolysis behavior.We investigated four methods including three model-free methods and one modelfitting method to estimate dynamic parameters.Additionally,an artificial neural network model was developed by providing the heating rates and temperatures to predict the weight loss(wt.%)of HDPE,and optimized via assessing mean squared error and determination coefficient on the test set.The optimal MSE(2.6297×10^(−2))and R^(2) value(R^(2)>0.999)were obtained.Activation energy and preexponential factor obtained from four different models achieves the acceptable value between experimental and predicted results.The relative error of the model increased from 2.4%to 6.8%when the sampling frequency changed from 50 s to 60 s,but showed no significant difference when the sampling frequency was below 50 s.This result provides a promising approach to simplify the further modelling work and to reduce the required data storage space.This study revealed the possibility of simulating the HDPE pyrolysis process via machine learning with no significant accuracy loss of the kinetic parameters.It is hoped that this work could potentially benefit to the development of pyrolysis process modelling of HDPE and the other plastics.Xiaoxiao Yin Junyu Tao Guanyi Chen Xilei Yao Pengpeng Luan Zhanjun Cheng Ning Li Zhongyue Zhou Beibei Yan 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,1:0
12Non-contact biomimetic mechanism for selective hydrogenation of nitroaromatics on heterogeneous metal nanocatalysts显示文摘While the enzymatic reduction of unsaturated compounds usually has high specificity,highly selective reduction processes are hardly realized by heterogeneous industrial catalysts,which is critical for the green production of many fine chemicals.Here,we report an unexpected discovery of a biomimetic behavior of dicyandiamide(DICY)-modified Pt nanocatalysts for the green hydrogenation of a wide range of nitroaromatics.We demonstrate that the surface modification by DICY not only prevents the direct contact of nitroaromatic reactants with Pt surface but also induces an effective non-contact hydrogenation mechanism mediated by protons and electrons.In such a process,the DICY layer serves as a“semi-permeable membrane”to allow the permeation of H_(2) molecules for being activated into electrons and protons at the Pt-DICY interface.With the generation of separated protons and electrons,the nitro group with strong electrophilic properties can be hydrogenated through the electron transfer followed by the proton transfer,which is facilitated by the hydrogen bonding network formed by protonated DICY.The unique mechanism makes it highly directional toward the hydrogenation of nitro groups without side reactions.Owing to its capability to largely eliminate the waste generation,the developed Pt-DICY catalysts have been successfully applied for the green industrial production of many important aniline intermediates.Wenting Zhou Laiyang Li Ruixuan Qin Jiaxin Zhu Shengjie Liu Shiguang Mo Zaifa Shi Huihuang Fang Pengpeng Ruan Jun Cheng Gang Fu Nanfeng Zheng 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,4:0
13Improvement of hydrogen permeation barrier performance by iron sulphide surface films显示文摘Fe–S compounds with hexagonal crystal structure are potential hydrogen permeation barrier during H2S corrosion. Hexagonal system Fe–S films were prepared on carbon steel through corrosion and CVD deposition, and the barrier effect of different Fe–S films on hydrogen permeation was tested using electrochemical hydrogen permeation method. After that, the electrical properties of Fe–S compound during phase transformation were measured using thermoelectric measurement system. Results show that the mackinawite has no obvious barrier effect on hydrogen penetration, as a p-type semiconductor, and pyrrhotite (including troilite) has obvious barrier effect on hydrogen penetration,as an n-type semiconductor. Hydrogen permeation tests showed peak permeation performance when the surface was deposited with a continuous film of pyrrhotite (Fe_(1–x)S) and troilite. 15Properties of Magnetite Nanoparticles Produced by Magnetotactic Bacteria显示文摘The magnetic nanoparticles(magnetite) were prepared through the fermentation of the Magnetospirillum strain WM-1 newly isolated by our group. The samples were characterized by TEM, SAED, XRD, rock magnetic analysis, and Mossbauer spectroscopy. TEM and SAED measurements showed that the magnetosomes formed by strain WM-1 were single crystallites of high perfection with a cubic spinel structure of magnetite. X-ray measurements also fitted very well with standard Fe3O4 reflections with an inverse spinel structure of the magnetite core. The size of crystal as calculated by the Debye-Scherrer's equation was approximately 55 nm. Rock magnetic analysis showed WM-1 synthesized single-domain magnetite magnetosomes, which were arranged in the form of linear chain. The high delta ratio((δFC / δZFC = 4) supported the criteria of Moskowitz test that there were intact magnetosomes chains in cells. The Verwey transition occurred at 105 K that closed to stoochiometric magnetite in composition. These observations provided useful insights into the biomineralization of magnetosomes and properties of M.
