| 2 | Hydrometallurgical recycling of NdF eB magnets: Complete leaching, iron removal and electrolysis显示文摘NdFeB magnets currently dominate the magnet market. Supply risks of certain rare earth metals(REM), e.g. Nd and Dy, impose efficient recycling schemes that are applicable to different types and compositions of these magnets with minimum use of chemicals and waste generation. In this study, a hydrometallurgical method was studied that could be adjusted to recover not only REM, but also other valuable metals(e.g.Co, Ni and Cu) that co-existed in the magnet. The magnet powders were completely dissolved in a dilute sulfuric acid solution giving more than 98% of dissolved iron in the ferrous state. Chemical oxidation of Fe^(2+) into Fe^(3+) by the addition of MnO 2 required only 1 h at ambient temperature. It was then possible to precipitate more than 99% of this ferric iron by adjusting the pH of the solution above 3 with either Ca(OH)_2 or MnO additions. However, the addition of Ca(OH)_2 resulted in the formation of gypsum and up to ca. 23% REM losses, possibly via co-precipitation into the gypsum. MnO elevated the Mn^(2+) concentration in the solution. However, it was found to be problematic that subsequent direct electrolysis removed Mn and Co. Low anodic current efficiencies(ACE) resulted in high energy consumption(EC), while incomplete Mn and Co removals and undesired REM losses were reported. | 4 | Treatment with NADPH oxidase inhibitor apocynin alleviates diabetic neuropathic pain in rats显示文摘Increased reactive oxygen species by the activation of NADPH oxidase(NOX) contributes to the development of diabetic complications.Apocynin,a NOX inhibitor,increases sciatic nerve conductance and blood flow in diabetic rats.We investigated potential protective effect of apocynin in rat diabetic neuropathy and its precise mechanism of action at molecular level.Rat models of streptozotocin-induced diabetes were treated with apocynin(30 and 100 mg/kg per day,intragastrically) for 4 weeks.Mechanical hyperalgesia and allodynia were determined weekly using analgesimeter and dynamic plantar aesthesiometer.Western blot analysis and histochemistry/immunohistochemistry were performed in the lumbar spinal cord and sciatic nerve respectively.Streptozotocin injection reduced pain threshold in analgesimeter,but not in aesthesiometer.Apocynin treatment increased pain threshold dose-dependently.Western blot analysis showed an increase in catalase and NOX-p47 phox protein expression in the spinal cord.However,protein expressions of neuronal and inducible nitric oxide synthase(n NOS,i NOS),superoxide dismutase,glutathion peroxidase,nitrotyrosine,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,interleukin-1β,aldose reductase,cyclooxygenase-2 or MAC-1(marker for increased microgliosis) in the spinal cord remained unchanged.Western blot analysis results also demonstrated that apocynin decreased NOX-p47 phox expression at both doses and catalase expression at 100 mg/kg per day.Histochemistry of diabetic sciatic nerve revealed marked degeneration.n NOS and i NOS immunoreactivities were increased,while S-100 immunoreactivity(Schwann cell marker) was decreased in sciatic nerve.Apocynin treatment reversed these changes dose-dependently.In conclusion,decreased pain threshold of diabetic rats was accompanied by increased NOX and catalase expression in the spinal cord and increased degeneration in the sciatic nerve characterized by increased NOS expression and Schwann cell loss.Apocynin treatment attenuates neuropathic pain by decelerating the increased oxidative stress-mediated pathogenesis in diabetic rats. | Murat Olukman Aytül onal Fatma Gül celenk Yigit Uyankgil Türker cavusoglu Neslihan Düzenli Sibel ülker | 2018 | Neural Regeneration Research2018，13，9： | 4 |

| 7 | Comparison of trifocal toric and bifocal toric intraocular lens implantation in patients with cataract and high corneal astigmatism显示文摘AIM:To investigate and compare the quality of life,satisfaction,contrast sensitivity,glare,depth perception,and intraocular lens(IOL)rotation in patients who underwent trifocal toric and bifocal toric IOLs.METHODS:A total of 80 eyes of 40 patients were included in this prospective study.Twenty patients in each group were implanted with trifocal toric and bifocal toric IOL,respectively.Preoperative and postoperative 6-month measurements were recorded for both patient groups.Comprehensive anterior and posterior segment examinations,distance-intermediate-near visual acuity values and the visual function scale questionnaire results were evaluated at these examinations.Patient satisfaction,contrast sensitivity,glare,intermediate-near and distance stereopsis and IOL rotation were also evaluated.RESULTS:No significant difference was found between the groups in terms of distance and near visual acuities(P=0.269,P=0.451).Intermediate visual acuity was significantly increased in the trifocal toric group(P<0.001).The visual function scale results were increased after surgery in both groups(P=0.001 and P<0.001),with no difference determined between them(P=0.158 and P=0.691).The number of patients wearing glasses was low in both groups and there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).The overall satisfaction in the trifocal toric group was significantly higher than in the bifocal toric group(P=0.03).The highest sensitivity was observed at 6 cpd spatial frequency in all patients under photopic conditions(1.80±0.24 logU,1.74±0.20 logU).Distance-intermediate-near binocular depth perception results in both groups were higher in the trifocal toric group(P=0.02,0.048,0.003,respectively).Although there was no significant difference for 3 meters stereopsis,the trifocal toric group had higher depth perception(P=0.577).Mean rotation was 5.76°±3.93°in the trifocal toric group and 12°±7.1°in the bifocal toric group.CONCLUSION:Better results in the middle distance are obtained in the trifocal toric group and less IOL rotation due to digital system-coordinated surgery.Moreover,the overall satisfaction in the trifocal toric group is significantly higher than in the bifocal toric group. | Merve Bozkurt Gencer Hikmet Basmak Erdogan Yasar Ozkan Onal | 2021 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2021，14，12： | 2 |
