2Preliminary assessment of the navigation and positioning performance of BeiDou regional navigation satellite system显示文摘BeiDou regional navigation satellite system(BDS)also called BeiDou-2 has been in full operation since December 27,2012.It consists of 14 satellites,including 5 satellites in Geostationary Orbit(GEO),5 satellites in Inclined Geosynchronous Orbit(IGSO),and 4 satellites in Medium Earth Orbit(MEO).In this paper,its basic navigation and positioning performance are evaluated preliminarily by the real data collected in Beijing,including satellite visibility,Position Dilution of Precision(PDOP)value,the precision of code and carrier phase measurements,the accuracy of single point positioning and differential positioning and ambiguity resolution(AR)performance,which are also compared with those of GPS.It is shown that the precision of BDS code and carrier phase measurements are about 33 cm and 2 mm,respectively,which are comparable to those of GPS,and the accuracy of BDS single point positioning has satisfied the design requirement.The real-time kinematic positioning is also feasible by BDS alone in the opening condition,since its fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch dual-frequency AR is comparable to those of GPS.The accuracy of BDS carrier phase differential positioning is better than 1 cm for a very short baseline of 4.2 m and 3 cm for a short baseline of 8.2 km,which is on the same level with that of GPS.For the combined BDS and GPS,the fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch AR and the positioning accuracy are improved significantly.The accuracy of BDS/GPS carrier phase differential positioning is about 35 and 20%better than that of GPS for two short baseline tests in this study.The accuracy of BDS code differential positioning is better than 2.5 m.However it is worse than that of GPS,which may result from large code multipath errors of BDS GEO satellite measurements.YANG YuanXi LI JinLong WANG AiBing XU JunYi HE HaiBo GUO HaiRong SHEN JunFei DAI Xian 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1:125

4Palladium Nanoparticle-Graphene Hybrids as Active Catalysts for the Suzuki Reaction显示文摘Graphene has been successfully modified with palladium nanoparticles in a facile manner by reducing palladium acetate [Pd(OAc)2] in the present of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), which is used as both surfactant and the reducing agent. The palladium nanoparticle-graphene hybrids (Pd-graphene hybrids) are characterized by high- resolution transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. We demonstrate that the Pd-graphene hybrids can act as an efficient catalyst for the Suzuki reaction under aqueous and aerobic conditions, with the reaction reaching completion in as little as 5 min. 5Allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy exhibits promising clinical safety and prolongs the survival of patients with late-stage lung or liver cancer显示文摘Vγ9Vδ2 T cells are promising candidates for cellular tumor immunotherapy.Due to their HLA-independent mode of action,allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells can be considered for clinical application.To apply allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells in adoptive immunotherapy,the methodology used to obtain adequate cell numbers with optimal effector function in vitro needs to be optimized,and clinical safety and efficacy also need to be proven.Therefore,we developed a novel formula to improve the expansion of peripheralγδT cells from healthy donors.Then,we used a humanized mouse model to validate the therapeutic efficacy of expandedγδT cells in vivo;furthermore,the expandedγδT cells were adoptively transferred into late-stage liver and lung cancer patients.We found that the expanded cells possessed significantly improved immune effector functions,including proliferation,differentiation,and cancer cell killing,both in vitro and in the humanized mouse model.Furthermore,a phase I clinical trial in 132 late-stage cancer patients with a total of 414 cell infusions unequivocally validated the clinical safety of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells.Among these 132 patients,8 liver cancer patients and 10 lung cancer patients who received≥5 cell infusions showed greatly prolonged survival,which preliminarily verified the efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell therapy.Our clinical studies underscore the safety and efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy,which will inspire further clinical investigations and eventually benefit cancer patients.Yan Xu Zheng Xiang Mohammed Alnaggar Léonce Kouakanou Jiawei Li Junyi He Jiashuang Yang Yi Hu Yan Chen Li Lin Jianlei Hao Jingxia Li Jibing Chen Man Li Qingling Wu Christian Peters Qinghua Zhou Jianshuang Li Yingqing Liang Xiaohua Wang Baohui Han Meili Ma Dieter Kabelitz Kecheng Xu Wenwei Tu Yangzhe Wu Zhinan Yin 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:8
6Hard tissue stability after guided bone regeneration: a comparison between digital titanium mesh and resorbable membrane显示文摘Guided bone regeneration(GBR)uses resorbable and non-resorbable membranes as biological barriers.This study compared the differences in hard tissue stability between GBR using evidence-based digital titanium mesh and resorbable collagen membranes during implant placement.A total of 40 patients(65 implant sites)were enrolled and divided into two groups:resorbable membrane and digital titanium mesh groups.The alveolar bone was analyzed at two-and three-dimensional levels using conebeam computed tomography and by reconstructing and superimposing the hard tissues at four time points:preoperatively,postoperatively,before second-stage surgery,and 1 year after loading.The use of digital titanium mesh showed less alveolar bone resorption in vertical and horizontal directions two-dimensionally before the second-stage surgery and 1 year after loading.Regarding volumetric stability,the percentage of resorption after 6 months of healing with resorbable membrane coverage reached 37.5%.However,it was only 23.4%with titanium mesh.Although postoperative bone volume was greater at all labial sites with resorbable membrane than with digital titanium mesh,after substantial bone resorption within 1 year of loading,the labial bone thickness at the upper part of implants was thinner with resorbable membrane than with digital titanium mesh.Furthermore,digital titanium meshes made according to ideal bone arch contour reduced soft tissue irritation,and the exposure rate was only 10%.Therefore,although both resorbable membrane and digital titanium mesh in GBR were able to successfully reconstruct the bone defect,digital titanium meshes were better at maintaining the hard tissue volume in the osteogenic space.Songhang Li Junyi Zhao Yu Xie Taoran Tian Tianxu Zhang Xiaoxiao Cai 2021International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,4:8

8Massive cranium from Harbin in northeastern China establishes a new Middle Pleistocene human lineage显示文摘It has recently become clear that several human lineages coexisted with Homo sapiens during the late Middle and Late Pleistocene.Here,we report an archaic human fossil that throws new light on debates concerning the diversification of the Homo genus and the origin of H.sapiens.The fossil was recovered in Harbin city in northeastern China,with a minimum uranium-series age of 146 ka.This cranium is one of the best preserved Middle Pleistocene human fossils.Its massive size,with a large cranial capacity(1,420 mL)falling in the range of modern humans,is combined with a mosaic of primitive and derived characters.It differs from all the other named Homo species by presenting a combination of features,such as long and low cranial vault,a wide and low face,large and almost square orbits,gently curved but massively developed supraorbital torus,flat and low cheekbones with a shallow canine fossa,and a shallow palate with thick alveolar bone supporting very large molars.The excellent preservation of the Harbin cranium advances our understanding of several less-complete late Middle Pleistocene fossils from China,which have been interpreted as local evolutionary intermediates between the earlier species Homo erectus and later H.sapiens.Phylogenetic analyses based on parsimony criteria and Bayesian tip-dating suggest that the Harbin cranium and some other Middle Pleistocene human fossils from China,such as those from Dali and Xiahe,form a third East Asian lineage,which is a part of the sister group of the H.sapiens lineage.Our analyses of such morphologically distinctive archaic human lineages from Asia,Europe,and Africa suggest that the diversification of the Homo genus may have had a much deeper timescale than previously presumed.Sympatric isolation of small populations combined with stochastic long-distance dispersals is the best fitting biogeographical model for interpreting the evolution of the Homo genus.Xijun Ni Qiang Ji Wensheng Wu Qingfeng Shao Yannan Ji Chi Zhang Lei Liang Junyi Ge Zhen Guo Jinhua Li Qiang Li Rainer Grun Chris Stringer 2021The Innovation2021,2,3:6
9A genome-wide analysis of SWEET gene family in cotton and their expressions under different stresses显示文摘Background: The SWEET(Sugars will eventually be exported transporters) gene family plays multiple roles in plant physiological activities and development process. It participates in reproductive development and in the process of sugar transport and absorption, plant senescence and stress responses and plant-pathogen interaction. However,thecomprehensive analysis of SWEET genes has not been reported in cotton.Results: In this study, we identified 22, 31, 55 and 60 SWEET genes from the sequenced genomes of Gossypium arboreum, G. raimondii, G. hirsutum and G. barbadense, respectively. Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the SWEET genes could be divided into four groups, which were further classified into 14 sub-clades. Further analysis of chromosomal location, synteny analysis and gene duplication suggested that the orthologs showed a good collinearity and segmental duplication events played a crucial role in the expansion of the family in cotton. Specific MtN3_slv domains were highly conserved between Arobidopsis and cotton by exon-intron organization and motif analysis. In addition, the expression pattern in different tissues indicated that the duplicated genes in cotton might have acquired new functions as a result of sub-functionalization or neo-funtionalization. The expression pattern of SWEET genes showed that the different genes were induced by diverse stresses. The identification and functional analysis of SWEET genes in cotton may provide more candidate genes for genetic modification.Conclusion: SWEET genes were classified into four clades in cotton. The expression patterns suggested that the duplicated genes might have experienced a functional divergence. 10The use of fire at Zhoukoudian:evidence from magnetic susceptibility and color measurements显示文摘In order to provide direct evidence for the use of fire by humans at Locality 1,Zhoukoudian,we examine the burnt and unburnt sediments of newly excavated area in Layer 4 by detailed measurements of magnetic susceptibility,color,and diffuse reflectance spectrum.Results show that the magnetic susceptibility and redness of the burnt sediments are remarkably higher than those of other areas on the same level:up to*22 times for magnetic susceptibility and*3 times for redness of those of the adjacent unburnt sediments.Fine-grained(superparamagnetic/stable single-domain)magnetite and hematite grains make dominant contributions to the distinctly high values of magnetic susceptibility and redness in the burnt sediments.Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy results show that the burnt sediments contain more hematite than those of other areas and localities 2 and 3.High-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements demonstrate that the burnt sediments have been heated above 700°C.Those changes in low-frequency magnetic susceptibility and redness are impossibly resulted from natural fires,thus most likely signaling the human activities of controlled use of fire.However,further work is needed to confirm whether or not these heat-affected sediments were produced in situ.Yan Zhang Zhengtang Guo Chenglong Deng Shuangquan Zhang Haibin Wu Chunxia Zhang Junyi Ge Deai Zhao Qin Li Yang Song Rixiang Zhu 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,10:6

15Ore-forming Fluid and Metallogenic Mechanism of Wolframite-Quartz Vein-type Tungsten Deposits in South China显示文摘South China is endowed with copious wolframite-quartz vein-type W deposits that provide a significant contribution to the world‘s tungsten production.Mineralization is spatially associated with highly evolved granites,which have been interpreted as products of ancient crustal anatexis.Ore veins are mainly hosted in low-grade metamorphosed quartz sandstone,slate and granitic rocks.The ore minerals mainly comprise wolframite,cassiterite,scheelite and pyrite,with minor molybdenite,arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite.Typical steeply dipping veins can be divided into five zones from top to the bottom,namely:(Ⅰ)thread,(Ⅱ)veinlet,(Ⅲ)moderate vein,(Ⅳ)thick vein,and(Ⅴ)thin out zones.In general,three types of fluid inclusions at room temperature are commonly recognized in wolframite and/or quartz from these veins:two-phase liquid-rich(type L),two-phase CO2-bearing(type CB),and CO2-rich(type C).Comparative microthermometry performed on fluid inclusions hosted in wolframite and associated quartz indicates that most wolframite was not coprecipitated with the coexisting quartz.Detailed petrographic observation and cathodoluminescence(CL)imaging on coexisting wolframite and quartz of the Yaogangxian deposit,show repeated precipitation of quartz,wolframite,and muscovite,suggesting a more complex fluid process forming these veins.Previous studies of H-O isotopes and fluid inclusions suggested that the main ore-forming fluids forming the wolframite-quartz vein-type deposits had a magmatic source,whereas an unresolved debate is centered on whether mantle material supplemented the ore-forming fluids.The variable CO2 contents in the ore-forming fluids also implies that CO2 might have had a positive effect on ore formation.Fluid inclusion studies indicate that wolframite was most likely deposited during cooling from an initial H2 O+Na Cl±CO2 magmatic fluid.In addition,fluid-phase separation and/or mixing with sedimentary fluid might also have played an important role in promoting wolframite deposition.We speculate that these processes determine the precipitation of W to varying degrees whereas the leading mechanistic cause remains an open question.Comprehensive studies on spatial variation of fluid inclusions show that both the steeply and gently dipping veins are consistent with the'five floors'model that may have broader applications to exploration of wolframite-quartz vein-type deposits.Recent quantitative analysis of wolframite-and quartz-hosted fluid inclusions by laser ablation inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry shows enhanced advantages in revealing fluid evolution,tracing the fluid source and dissecting the ore precipitation process.Further studies on wolframite-quartz vein-type W deposits to bring a deeper understanding on ore-forming fluids and the metallogenic mechanism involved.NI Pei LI Wensheng PAN Junyi 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6:5
16Exploration of presence/absence variation and corresponding polymorphic markers in soybean genome显示文摘This study was designed to reveal the genome‐wide distribution of presence/absence variation(PAV) and to establish a database of polymorphic PAV markers in soybean. The 33 soybean whole‐genome sequences were compared to each other with that of Williams 82 as a reference genome. A total of 33,127 PAVs were detected and 28,912 PAV markers with their primer sequences were designed as the database NJAUSoyPAV_1.0. The PAVs scattered on whole genome while only 518(1.8%) overlapped with simple sequence repeats(SSRs) in BARCSOYSSR_1.0database. In a random sample of 800 PAVs, 713(89.13%) showed polymorphism among the 12 differential genotypes. Using 126 PAVs and 108 SSRs to test a Chinese soybean germplasm collection composed of 828 Glycine soja Sieb. et Zucc. and Glycine max(L.) Merr. accessions, the per locus allele number and its variation appeared less in PAVs than in SSRs. The distinctness among alleles/bands of PCR(polymerase chain reaction) products showed better in PAVs than in SSRs, potential in accurate marker‐assisted allele selection. 17Wavelet analysis of coastal-trapped waves along the China coast generated by winter storms in 2008显示文摘This study applies the wavelet analysis to the tidal gauge records, alongshore winds, atmospheric temperature and pressure along the China coast in winter 2008. The analysis results show three events of sea level oscillations(SLOs) on the shelf induced by winter storms. The first event occurred from January 9 to 21. The SLO periods were double-peaked at 1.6–5.3 and 7.0–16.0 d with the power densities of 0.04–0.05 and 0.10–0.15 m2·d, respectively.The second event occurred from February 5 to 18. The SLO period was single-peaked at 2.3–3.5 d with power density of 0.03–0.04 m2·d. The third event occurred from February 20 to March 8. The SLO periods were doublepeaked at 1.5–4.3 and 6.1–8.2 d with the power densities of 0.08–0.11 and 0.02–0.08 m2·d, respectively. The SLOs propagated along the coast from Zhejiang in north to Guangdong in south. The phase speeds ranged about 9–29m/s from Kanmen to Pingtan, 5–11 m/s from Xiamen to Huizhou and 11–22 m/s from Huizhou to Shuidong. 18China-France Oceanography Satellite (CFOSAT) simultaneously observes the typhoon-induced wind and wave fields显示文摘The China-France oceanography satellite(CFOSAT)developed by the China National Space Administration(CNSA)and Centre National D’Etudes Spatiales(CNES)was successfully launched into its orbit on October 29,2018.The Chinese wind scatterometer(SCAT)with swath width of about 1000 km and French wave spectrometer(Surface Wave Investigation and Monitoring,SWIM)with swath width of about 180 km onboard the CFOSAT are in line with all requirements and performing operationally.Thus,it is the first time that CFOSAT provides simultaneous and co-located observations of wind and wave fields with high spatial resolutions of 12.5 km×12.5 km for the winds and 70 km×90 km for the wave directional spectrum.The real-time and large-scale monitoring of wind and wave fields are of great significance for navigation and human activities on the sea(Xu et al.,2010;Tan et al.,2018;Sun et al.,2019),especially during severe typhoon processes when violent winds and hazardous waves occur(Walsh et al.,2002;Zhou et al.,2008).Ying Xu Jianqiang Liu Lingling Xie Congrong Sun Jinpu Liu Junyi Li Di Xian 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,11:5
19Phosphate removal by a La(OH)_(3) loaded magnetic MAPTAC-based cationic hydrogel:Enhanced surface charge density and Donnan membrane effect显示文摘Cationic hydrogels have received great attention to control eutrophication and recycle phosphate.In this study,a type of La(OH)_(3) loaded magnetic MAPTAC-based cationic hydrogel(La(OH)_(3)@MMCH)was developed as a potential adsorbent for enhanced phosphate removal from aqueous environment.La(OH)_(3)@MMCH exhibited high adsorption capacity of 105.72±5.99 mg P/g,and reached equilibrium within 2 hr.La(OH)_(3)@MMCH could perform effectively in a wide pH range from 3.0 to 9.0 and in the presence of coexisting ions(including SO_(4)^(2-),Cl^(-),NO_(3)^(-),HCO_(3)^(-),SiO_(4)^(4-) and HA).The adsorption-desorption experiment indicated that La(OH)_(3)@MMCH could be easily regenerated by using NaOH-NaCl as the desorption agent,and 73.3%adsorption capacity remained after five cycles.Moreover,La(OH)_(3)@MMCH was employed to treat surface water with phosphate concentration of 1.90 mg/L and showed great removal efficiency of 95.21%.Actually,MMCH showed high surface charge density of 34.38-59.38 meq/kg in the pH range from 3.0 to 11.0 and great swelling ratio of 3014.57%within 24 h,indicating that MMCH could produce the enhanced Donnan membrane effect to pre-permeate phosphate.Furthermore,the bifunctional structure of La(OH)_(3)@MMCH enabled it to capture phosphate through electrostatic attraction and ligand exchange.All the results prove that La(OH)_(3)@MMCH is a promising adsorbent for eutrophication control and phosphate recovery.Yanqing Zhou Yili Wang Shuoxun Dong Haotian Hao Junyi Li Chenyang Liu Xiaolin Li Yao Tong 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,3:4
20Shear-responsive boundary-lubricated hydrogels attenuate osteoarthritis显示文摘Lipid-based boundary layers formed on liposome-containing hydrogels can facilitate lubrication.However,these boundary layers can be damaged by shear,resulting in decreased lubrication.Here,a shear-responsive boundary-lubricated drug-loaded hydrogel is created by incorporating celecoxib(CLX)-loaded liposomes within dynamic covalent bond-based hyaluronic acid(HA)hydrogels(CLX@Lipo@HA-gel).The dynamic cross-linked network enables the hydrogel to get restructured in response to shear,and the HA matrix allows the accumulation of internal liposome microreservoirs on the sliding surfaces,which results in the formation of boundary layers to provide stable lubrication.Moreover,hydration shells formed surrounding the hydrogel can retard the degradation process,thus helping in sustaining lubrication.Furthermore,in vitro and in vivo experiments found that CLX@Lipo@HA-gels can maintain anabolic-catabolic balance,alleviate cartilage wear,and attenuate osteoarthritis progression by delivering CLX and shear-responsive boundary lubrication.Overall,CLX@Lipo@HA-gels can serve as shear-responsive boundary lubricants and drug-delivery vehicles to alleviate friction-related diseases like osteoarthritis.Yiting Lei Xingkuan Wang Junyi Liao Jieliang Shen Yuling Li Zhengwei Cai Ning Hu Xiaoji Luo Wenguo Cui Wei Huang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:4
