| 3 | Microstructure,tensile properties and thermal stability of AlMgSiScZr alloy printed by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘The new generation of Sc and Zr modified Al alloys has been attracted wide concerns in aerospace industry,owing to the excellent mechanical performances and superior thermal stability than other normal Al alloys.By microalloying with Sc and Zr,the Al3(Sc,Zr)particle forms as the grain refiner during the solidification,which is extremely beneficial for the laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)processed Al alloys.In this study,a new type Al-14.1 Mg-0.47 Si-0.31 Sc-0.17 Zr alloy was additively manufactured by LPBF,and the microstructure,tensile properties and thermal stability were studied in detail.By using a single melt-67°scanning strategy,the LPBF-processed specimen with a relative density of 99.4%and tensile strength of 487.7 MPa was obtained at 160 W-200 mm/s.And this AlMgSiScZr alloy can still exhibit an excellent tensile strength of 393.9 MPa at a moderate temperature of 473 K.After the aging treatment,the tensile properties further increased due to the precipitate hardening of Mg2Si and Al3(Sc,Zr),and the maximum value(580 MPa)was reached at an aging time of 10 h.The average crystal size was almost unchanged after aging treated at 325℃and 24 h,indicating this AlMgSiScZr alloy has an improved thermal stability.The AlMgSiScZr alloy is recommended to substitute some particular titanium alloys in aerospace field afterwards. | Jiang Bi Zhenglong Lei Yanbin Chen Xi Chen Ze Tian Nannan Lu Xikun Qin Jingwei Liang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,10: | 4 |
| 4 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 5 | An additively manufactured Al-14.1Mg-0.47Si-0.31Sc-0.17Zr alloy with high specific strength,good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance显示文摘A novel Al-14.1 Mg-0.47 Si-0.31 Sc-0.17 Zr alloy was applied in the printing process of selective laser melting(SLM),and the corresponding microstructural feature,phase identification,tensile properties and corrosion behavior of the Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy were studied in detail.As fabricated at 160 W and 200 mm/s,the Mg content of bulk sample decreased to 11.7 wt%due to the element vaporization at high energy density,and the density of this additively manufactured Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy was 2.538 g/cm^(3),which is4.2%8.5%lighter than that of other SLM-processed Al alloys.After heat-treated(HT)at 325℃and 6 h,the microstructure was almost unchanged with an alternate distribution of fine equiaxed crystals and coarse columnar crystals.Nano-sized Al3(Sc,Zr)and Mg_(2)Si phases precipitated dispersedly in the Al matrix,and the tensile strength increased from 487.6 MPa to 578.4 MPa for precipitation strengthening and fine grain strengthening.With a fine grain size of 2.53μm,an excellent corrosion resistance was obtained for the as-printed(AP)Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy.While the corrosion resistance of HT sample decreased slightly for the formation of non-dense oxide layer and pitting corrosion induced by diffuse precipitation distribution.This SLM-printed Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy with high specific strength,good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance has broad prospects for the aerospace and automotive applications. | Jiang Bi Zhenglong Lei Yanbin Chen Xi Chen Nannan Lu Ze Tian Xikun Qin | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8: | 2 |

| 7 | Highly aligned lithiophilic electrospun nanofiber membrane for the multiscale suppression of Li dendrite growth显示文摘Using inorganic fibrous membranes as protective layers has yielded success in suppressing dendrite growth.However,conventional fibrous membranes usually have large voids and low affinity for Li,promoting inhomogeneous charge distribution and allowing some dendrites to grow.Herein,we introduce a highly aligned TiO_(2)/SiO_(2)(A-TS)electrospun nanofiber membrane as a protective layer for the Li metal anode.The A-TS membrane is fabricated by a custom-made electrospinning system with an automatic fiber alignment collector that allows control of the fibers’orientation.At the scale of the individual fibers,their high binding energies with Li can attract more“dead”Li by reacting with the SiO_(2) component of the composite,avoiding uncontrollable deposition on the metal anode.At the membrane scale,these highly ordered structures achieve homogeneous contact and charge distribution on the Li metal surface,leaving no vulnerable areas to nucleate dendrite formation.Additionally,the excellent mechanical and thermal stability properties of the A-TS membrane prevent any potential puncturing by dendrites or thermal runaway in a battery.Hence,an A-TS@Li anode exhibits stable cycling performance when used in both Li-S and Li-NCM811 batteries,highlighting significant reference values for the future design and development of high-energy-density metal-based battery systems. | Jianan Wang Qianyue Ma Shiyi Sun Kai Yang Qiong Cai Emilia Olsson Xin Chen Ze Wang Amr MAbdelkader Yinshi Li Wei Yan Shujiang Ding Kai Xi | 2022 | eScience2022,2,6: | 2 |

| 10 | Improvement of tensile superelasticity by aging treatment of NiTi shape memory alloys fabricated by electron beam wire-feed additive manufacturing显示文摘For the first time,this work comprehensively studied the effectiveness of precipitation hardening achieved by aging treatment in improving the tensile superelasticity of NiTi alloys fabricated by elec-tron beam wire-feed additive manufacturing(EBAM),which possesses inherent advantages in producing dense and oxidation-free structures.Aging treatments under three temperatures(450,350,and 250℃)and different durations were conducted,and the resultant performance of tensile superelasticity,together with the corresponding evolution of precipitation and phase transformation behavior were investigated for the EBAM-fabricated NiTi alloys.Results showed that by appropriate aging treatment,EBAM fabricated NiTi alloys could achieve excellent recovery rates of approximately 95%and 90%after the 1st and 10th load/unload cycle for a maximum tensile strain of 6%,which were almost the highest achieved so far by AM processed NiTi alloys and close to those of some conventional NiTi alloys.The improvement of tensile superelasticity benefited from the fine and dispersive Ni4Ti3 precipitates,which could be introduced by aging at 350℃ for 4 h or at 250℃ for 200 h.Moreover,the large amount of Ni4Ti3 precipitates would promote the intermediate R-phase transformation and bring a two-stage or three-stage transformation sequence,which depended on whether the distribution of the precipitation was homogeneous or not.This work could provide guidance for the production of NiTi alloys with good tensile superelasticity by EBAM or other additive manufacturing processes. | Ze Pu Dong Du Dongqi Zhang Zixiang Li Shuai Xue Rui Xi Xiebin Wang Baohua Chang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,14: | 1 |

| 14 | Double glow plasma carburization on zirconium to improve surface hardness and wear resistance显示文摘Though some important progress in the excellent mechanical properties of zirconium alloys have been reported,their high surface hardness and good wear properties need to be explored further.In this work,a carburized layer was formed on the surface of commercially pure zirconium by a double glow plasma hydrogen-free carburizing technique.Commercial high-purity graphite was used as the carbon source material.X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),Vickers hardness test,friction and wear test were used to characterize the samples carburized.The carburized layer could be clearly observed under a microscope.XRD patterns indicate that the zirconium carbide phase is formed in the carburized layer.The surface hardness of the sample increases significantly after carburization.Friction and wear tests results show that wear resistance and friction coefficient of zirconium are improved considerably after carburization.Surface plastic deformation is arrested to a low extent in contrast with pure zirconium because of the presence of ZrC phases during the wear test.The results may provide new insight into methods for surface strengthening of zirconium alloys. | Jian-Qing Wang Hong-Bo Yang Bing Zhang Wei Xi Ze Dong Qin Jing | 2017 | Rare Metals2017,36,7: | 0 |
| 15 | Monte Carlo performance study of virtual high performance computing cluster over cloud显示文摘Objective:As a high computation cost discipline,nuclear science and engineering still relies heavily on traditional high performance computing(HPC)clusters.However,the usage of traditional HPC for nuclear science and engineering has been limited due to the poor flexibility,the software compatibility and the poor user interfaces.Virtualized/virtual HPC(vHPC)can mimic an HPC by using a cloud computing platform.In this work,we designed and developed a vHPC system for employment in nuclear engineering.Methods:The system is tested using the computation of the numberπby Monte Carlo and an X-ray digital imaging system simulation.The performance of the vHPC system is compared with that of the traditional HPCs.Results:As the number of the simulated particles increases,the virtual cluster computing time grows propor-tionally.The time used for the simulation of the X-ray imaging was about 21.1 h over a 12 kernels virtual server.Experimental results show that the performance of virtual cluster computing and the actual physical machine is almost the same.Conclusions:From these tests,it is concluded that vHPC is a good alternative for employing in nuclear engineering.The proposed vHPC in this paper will make HPC flexible and easy to deploy. | Libing Zhu Ze Xi Peng Cong Gongyi Yu Yuan Liu Xincheng Xiang Wei Xu Xiangang Wang | 2022 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2022,3,3: | 0 |
| 16 | Therapeutic effects of the extract of Sancao Formula, a Chinese herbal compound, on imiquimod-induced psoriasis via cysteine-rich protein 61显示文摘Objective: Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease that is prone to recurrence, and the proinflammatory factor, cysteine-rich protein 61(Cyr61), is important in its pathophysiology. Long-term clinical practice has shown that Sancao Formula(SC), a Chinese herbal compound, is effective in the treatment of psoriasis, but the precise mechanism remains unknown. In this study, we investigate the mechanism by which SC extract alleviates imiquimod(IMQ)-induced psoriasis.Methods: The expression of Cyr61 in psoriatic lesions and normal healthy skin was detected using immunohistochemical analysis to investigate the biological role of Cyr61 in models of psoriatic inflammation. A psoriatic mouse model was established by topical application of IMQ, and the effect of topical application of SC extract was evaluated using the psoriasis area and severity index(PASI) score,hematoxylin-eosin staining, and histopathological features of the skin. Next, a HaCaT cell inflammation model was established using interferon-γ(IFN-γ), and the effect of SC extract on the mRNA and protein levels of Cyr61 and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) was confirmed using Western blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analyses.Results: Immunohistochemical staining showed that the expression of Cyr61 in psoriatic lesions was higher than that in normal skin samples(78.26% vs 41.18%, P < 0.05), and the number of Cyr61-positive cells in psoriatic lesions was also significantly higher than in normal skin(18.66 ± 2.51 vs4.33 ± 1.52, P < 0.05). Treatment in mice with IMQ-induced psoriasis showed that SC extract could significantly improve the inflammatory phenotype, PASI score(10.875 ± 0.744 vs 3.875 ± 0.582, P < 0.05),and pathological features compared with those in IMQ model group;SC treatment was also associated with decreased levels of Cyr61 and ICAM-1.
