Vascularity of hepatic VX2 tumors of rabbits: Assessment with conventional power Doppler US and contrast enhanced harmonic power Doppler US显示文摘AIM: To investigate the characteristics of the vascularity ofhepatic metastasis.METHODS: Six New Zealand rabbits, weighing averagely2.7±0.4 kg, were selected and operated to establish hepaticVX2 tumor carrier model. Hepatic VX2 tumors were thenimaged with conventional B mode US, second harmonicimaging (SHI), color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI), powerDoppler imaging (PDI) and harmonic PDI by a transducerS8 connected to HP-5 500 ultrasound system. A kind of selfmade echo contrast agent was intravenously injected at adose of 0.01 mL/kg through ear vein, and then the venouspassage was cleaned with sterilized saline.RESULTS: Totally, 6 hypoechoic lesions and 3 hyperechoiclesions were found in the six carrier rabbits with a mean sizeabout 2.1±0.4 cm under conventional B mode ultrasound, theywere oval or round in shape with a dear outline or a hypoechoichalo at the margin of the lesions. Contrast agent could notchange the echogenicity of the lesions under conventional Bmode and SHI, however, it could greatly increase the flowsensitivity of the lesions under PDI and harmonic PDI. Nutrientartery of these metastatic lesions might also be well depictedunder contrast enhanced PDI and harmonic PDI.CONCLUSION: Our result suggested that contrast enhancedPDI, especially harmonic PDI, was a promised method inthe detection of vascularity of hepatic tumor nodules. | Wen-Hua Du Wei-Xiao Yang Xiang Wang Xiu-Qin Xiong Yi Zhou Tao Li Department of US, Daping Hospital & Research Institute of Surgery, the Third Military Medical University, Chongqing 400042, China | 2003 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2003,9,2: | 17
Enhanced methane production in an anaerobic digestion and microbial electrolysis cell coupled system with co-cultivation of Geobacter and Methanosarcina显示文摘The anaerobic digestion(AD)and microbial electrolysis cell(MEC)coupled system has been proved to be a promising process for biomethane production. In this paper,it was found that by co-cultivating Geobacter with Methanosarcina in an AD–MEC coupled system, methane yield was further increased by 24.1%,achieving to 360.2 m L/g-COD,which was comparable to the theoretical methane yield of an anaerobic digester. With the presence of Geobacter, the maximum chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate(216.8 mg COD/(L·hr))and current density(304.3 A/m_3)were both increased by 1.3 and 1.8 fold compared to the previous study without Geobacter, resulting in overall energy efficiency reaching up to 74.6%.Community analysis demonstrated that Geobacter and Methanosarcina could coexist together in the biofilm, and the electrochemical activities of both were confirmed by cyclic voltammetry. Our study observed that the carbon dioxide content in total gas generated from the AD reactor with Geobacter was only half of that generated from the same reactor without Geobacter, suggesting that Methanosarcina may obtain the electron transferred from Geobacter for the reduction of carbon dioxide to methane.Taken together,Geobacter not only can improve the performance of the MEC system, but also can enhance methane production. | Qi Yin Xiaoyu Zhu Guoqiang Zhan Tao Bo Yanfei Yang Yong Tao Xiaohong He Daping Li Zhiying Yan | 2016 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,4: | 9
Effects of cathode potentials and nitrate concentrations on dissimilatory nitrate reductions by Pseudomonas alcaliphila in bioelectrochemical systems显示文摘The effects of cathode potentials and initial nitrate concentrations on nitrate reduction in bioelectrochemical systems(BESs) were reported. These factors could partition nitrate reduction between denitrification and dissimilatory nitrate reduction to ammonium(DNRA). Pseudomonas alcaliphilastrain MBR utilized an electrode as the sole electron donor and nitrate as the sole electron acceptor. When the cathode potential was set from-0.3 to-1.1 V(vs. Ag/AgCl) at an initial nitrate concentration of 100 mg NO-3-N/L, the DNRA electron recovery increased from(10.76 ± 1.6)% to(35.06 ± 0.99)%; the denitrification electron recovery decreased from(63.42 ± 1.32)% to(44.33 ± 1.92)%. When the initial nitrate concentration increased from(29.09 ± 0.24) to(490.97 ± 3.49) mg NO-3-N/L at the same potential(-0.9 V), denitrification electron recovery increased from(5.88 ± 1.08)% to(50.19 ± 2.59)%; the DNRA electron recovery declined from(48.79 ± 1.32)% to(16.02 ± 1.41)%. The prevalence of DNRA occurred at high ratios of electron donors to acceptors in the BESs and denitrification prevailed against DNRA under a lower ratio of electron donors to acceptors. These results had a potential application value of regulating the transformation of nitrate to N2 or ammonium in BESs for nitrate removal. | Wenjie Zhang Yao Zhang Wentao Su Yong Jiang Min Su Ping Gao Daping Li | 2014 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,4: | 8

Effect of air-exposed biocathode on the performance of a Thauera-dominated membraneless single-chamber microbial fuel cell (SCMFC)显示文摘To investigate the effect of air-exposed biocathode(AEB) on the performance of singlechamber microbial fuel cell(SCMFC), wastewater quality, bioelectrochemical characteristics and the electrode biofilms were researched. It was demonstrated that exposing the biocathode to air was beneficial to nitrogen removal and current generation. In Test 1 of 95%AEB, removal rates of ammonia, total nitrogen(TN) and chemical oxygen demand(COD)reached 99.34% ± 0.11%, 99.34% ± 0.10% and 90.79% ± 0.12%, respectively. The nitrogen removal loading rates were 36.38 g N/m^3/day. Meanwhile, current density and power density obtained at 0.7 A/m3 and 104 m W/m^3 respectively. Further experiments on opencircuit(Test 2) and carbon source(Test 3) indicated that this high performance could be attributed to simultaneous biological nitrification/denitrification and aerobic denitrification, as well as bioelectrochemical denitrification. Results of community analysis demonstrated that both microbial community structures on the surface of the cathode and in the liquid of the chamber were different. The percentage of Thauera, identified as denitrifying bacteria, maintained at a high level of over 50% in water, but decreased gradually in the AEB. Moreover, the genus Nitrosomonas, Alishewanella, Arcobacter and Rheinheimera were significantly enriched in the AEB, which might contribute to both enhancement of nitrogen removal and electricity generation. | Nuan Yang Guoqiang Zhan Tingting Wu Yanyan Zhang Qinrui Jiang Daping Li Yuanying Xiang | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,4: | 4
Broadband mid-infrared molecular spectroscopy based on passive coherent optical–optical modulated frequency combs显示文摘Mid-infrared dual-comb spectroscopy is of great interest owing to the strong spectroscopic features of trace gases, biological molecules, and solid matter with higher resolution, accuracy, and acquisition speed. However, the prerequisite of achieving high coherence of optical sources with the use of bulk sophisticated control systems prevents their widespread use in field applications. Here we generate a highly mutually coherent dual midinfrared comb spectrometer based on the optical–optical modulation of a continuous-wave (CW) interband or quantum cascade laser. Mutual coherence was passively achieved without post-data processes or active carrier envelope phase-locking processes. The center wavelength of the generated mid-infrared frequency combs can be flexibly tuned by adjusting the wavelength of the CW seeds. The parallel detection of multiple molecular species, including C_(2)H_(2),CH_(4),H_(2)CO,H_(2)S,COS,and H_(2)O,was achieved. This technique provides a stable and robust dual-comb spectrometer that will find nonlaboratory applications including open-path atmospheric gas sensing, industrial process monitoring, and combustion. | ZHONG ZUO CHENGLIN GU DAOWANG PENG XING ZOU YUANFENG DI LIAN ZHOU DAPING LUO YANG LIU WENXUE LI | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,7: | 3
Assessment of hepatic VX2 tumors of rabbits with second harmonic imaging under high and low acoustic pressures显示文摘AIM: To investigate the possible clinical application value of second harmonic imaging under low acoustic pressure.METHODS: Six New Zealand rabbits, averaging 2.7±0.4kg, were selected and operated upon to construct hepatic VX2 tumor carrier model. Hepatic VX2 tumors were imaged with B mode Ultrasonography (US), and second harmonic imaging (SHI) under high mechanic index (1.6) and low mechanic index (0.1). Echo agent was intravenously injected through ear vein at a dose of 0.01 mL/kg under B mode US and high MI SHI, and 0.05 mL/kg under low MI SHI, and then the venous channel was cleaned with sterilized saline. All the images were recorded by magnetic optics (MO),and they were analyzed further by at least two independent experienced sonographers.RESULTS: Totally 6 hypoechoic and 3 hyperechoic lesions were found in the six carrier rabbits with a mean size about 2.1±0.4 under B mode ultrasound, they were oval or round in shape with a clear outline or a hypoechoic halo at the margin of the lesions. Contrast agent could not change the echogenicity of the lesions under B mode US and SHI under high acoustic pressure. However, it could greatly increase the real time visualization sensitivity of the lesions with SHI under low acoustic pressure.CONCLUSION: Our results suggest that contrast enhanced SHI with low MI and a bubble non-destructive method would be much more helpful than conventional SHI in our future clinical applications. | Wen-Hua Du Wei-Xiao Yang Xiang Wang Xiu-Qin Xiong Yi Zhou Tao Li, Department of Ultrasonography, Daping Hospital and Research Institute of Surgery, the Third Military Medical University, Chongqing 400042, China | 2003 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2003,9,8: | 3
TRIM14 promotes endothelial activation via activating NF-κB signaling pathway显示文摘Endothelial activation by proinflammatory cytokines is closely associated to the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and other vascular diseases;however, the molecular mechanisms controlling endothelial activation are not fully understood. Here we identify TRIM14 as a new positive regulator of endothelial activation via activating NF-κB signal pathway. TRIM14 is highly expressed in human vascular endothelial cells (ECs) and markedly induced by inflammatory stimuli such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and LPS. Overexpression of TRIM14 significantly increased the expression of adhesion molecules such as VCAM-1, ICAM-1, E-selectin, and cytokines such as CCL2, IL-8, CXCL-1, and TNF-α in activated ECs and by which it facilitated monocyte adhesion to ECs. Conversely, knockdown of TRIM14 has opposite effect on endothelial activation. Upon TNF-α stimulation, TRIM14 is recruited to IKK complex via directly binding to NEMO and promotes the phosphorylation of IκBα and p65, which is dependent on its K63-linked ubiquitination. Meanwhile, p65 can directly bind to the promoter regions of human TRIM14 gene and control its mRNA transcription. Finally, TRIM14 protein level is significantly upregulated in mouse and human atheroma compared to normal arteries. Taken together, these results indicate that TRIM14-NF-κB forms a positive feedback loop to enhance EC activation and TRIM14 may be a potential therapeutic target for vascular inflammatory diseases such as atherosclerosis. | Xuan Huang Yong Li Xiuzhen Li Daping Fan Hong-Bo Xin Mingui Fu | 2020 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,3: | 3
Effect of organic carbon on nitrification effciency and community composition of nitrifying biofilms显示文摘The effects of organic carbon/inorganic nitrogen(C/N) ratio on the nitrification processes and the community shifts of nitrifying biofilms were investigated by kinetic comparison and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) analysis. The results showed that the nitrification rate decreased with an increasing organic concentration. However, the effect became weak when the carbon concentration reached a suffciently high level.Denitrification was detected after organic carbon was added. The 12 h ammonium removal rate ranged from 85% to 30% at C/N = 0.5,1,2,4,8,and 16,as compared to the control(C/N = 0).The loss of nitrogen after 24 h at C/N = 0.5,1,2,4,8,and 16 was 31%,18%,24%,65%,59%,and 62%,respectively.The sequence analysis of 16S rRNA gene fragments revealed that the dominant populations changed from nitrifying bacteria(Nitrosomonas europaea and Nitrobacter sp.) to denitrifying bacteria(Pseudomonas sp.,Acidovorax sp.and Comamonas sp.) with an increasing C/N ratio.Although at high C/N ratio the denitrifying bacteria were the dominant populations, nitrifying bacteria grew simultaneously.Consequently, nitrification process coexisted with denitrification. | HU Jie LI Daping LIU Qiang TAO Yong HE Xiaohong WANG Xiaomei LI Xudong GAO Ping | 2009 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,3: | 3
Tunable optical frequency comb from a compact and robust Er:fiber laser显示文摘We report on a compact and robust self-referenced optical frequency comb with a tunable repetition rate, generated by an all-polarization-maintaining(PM)mode-locked Er-doped fiber laser. The spacing between comb teeth can be tuned above 300 kHz at a repetition rate of 101 MHz.The repetition rate and the carrier-envelope offset of the laser are stabilized separately, and the relative residual phase noises are determined to be 336µrad and 713 mrad(1 Hz-1 MHz).The accurate frequency characteristics and the stable structure show great potential for the use of such a comb in applications of precision measurements. | Zhiwei Zhu Yang Liu Daping Luo Chenglin Gu Lian Zhou Gehui Xie Zejiang Deng Wenxue Li | 2020 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,2: | 2
Central role of myeloid MCPIP1 in protecting against LPSinduced inflammation and lung injury显示文摘Although systemic inflammatory responses attributable to infection may lead to significant lung injury, the precise molecular mechanisms leading to lung damage are poorly understood and therapeutic options remain limited. Here,we show that myeloid monocyte chemotactic protein-inducible protein 1(MCPIP1)plays a central role in protecting against LPS-induced inflammation and lung injury.Myeloid-specific MCPIP1 knockout mice developed spontaneous inflammatory syndromes, but at a late age compared to global MCPIP1 knockout mice. Moreover, mice with a myeloid-specific deletion of MCPIP1 were extremely sensitive to LPS-induced lung injury due to overproduction of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines. We identified C/EBPβand C/EBPδ,two critical transcriptional factors that drive cytokine production and lung injury,as targets of MCPIP1 RNase.LPS administration caused MCPIP1 protein degradation in the lungs.Pharmacological inhibition of MALT1,a paracaspase that cleaves MCPIP1,by MI-2 selectively increased the MCPIP1 protein levels in macrophages and in the lungs.Meanwhile, administration of MI-2 protected mice from LPS-induced inflammation, lung injury and death.Collectively, these results indicate that myeloid MCPIP1 is central in controlling LPS-induced inflammation and lung injury.Pharmacological inhibition of MALT1 protease activity may be a good strategy to treat inflammatory diseases by enhancing MCPIP1 expression in myeloid cells. | Yong Li Xuan Huang Shengping Huang Hui He Tianhua Lei Fatma Saaoud Xiao-Qiang Yu Ari Melnick Anil Kumar Christopher J Papasian Daping Fan Mingui Fu | 2017 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2017,2,1: | 2
Doppler velocimeter based on dual-comb absorption spectroscopy显示文摘The determination of airflow parameters is essential to the research of critical information on environment monitoring, chemical kinetics, and aerodynamic and propulsion applications.During the past few decades, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy has become a common and efficient tool for the flow velocity measurement based on the Doppler shift of the absorption line.Dual-comb absorption spectroscopy(DCAS),as a state-of-theart Fourier-transform broadband spectroscopic technique, not only can detect multiple trace molecules in parallel but also can extract Doppler shifts to derive the flow velocity through the analysis of dozens of molecular absorption lines simultaneously with high precision. Here,we report a proof-of-principle demonstration of the velocity measurements of acetylene at various flow velocities by means of a high-resolution and broadband DCAS.Mode-resolved Doppler-shifted rotational-vibrational lines in the P branch of acetylene molecules are obtained.A model for multiline Doppler frequency determination is investigated and experimentally verified. The flow velocity measurements with a measuring uncertainty down to the submeter per second over the range from 8.7 m/s to 44.8 m/s at an effective time resolution of 1 s and a measuring uncertainty of 1.97 m/s at 0.1 s are demonstrated. With broadband mid-infrared frequency combs covering atmospheric transmission windows, the open-path measurement for monitoring diffusion of the weak pollutant source would be realized. | CHENGLIN GU XING ZOU ZHONG ZUO DAOWANG PENG YUANFENG DI YANG LIU DAPING LUO WENXUE LI | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,12: | 2
Holobricks:modular coarse integral holographic displays显示文摘Here,we propose and demonstrate a modular holographic display system that allows seamless spatial tiling of multiple coarse integral holographic(CIH)displays called'holobricks'.A holobrick is a self-contained CIH module enclosing a spatial light modulator(SLM),a scanner, and periscopic coarse integral optics.Modular CIH uses a coarse pitch and small area but high-bandwidth SLM in conjunction with periscopic coarse integral optics to form the angularly tiled 3D holograms with large viewing areas and fields of view. The creation of periscopic coarse integral optics prevents the optical system from being larger than the holographic image and allows the holographic fringe pattern to fill the entire face of the holobrick. Thus, multiple holobricks can be seamlessly abutted to form a scalable spatially tiled holographic image display capable of both wide feld-of-view angle and arbitrary large-size area.We demonstrate an initial prototype that seamlessly tiles two holobricks each with 1024×768 pixels,40°FOV,full color,24 fps, displaying 2D,3D holographic stereograms, and full parallax 3D CGI Fresnel holograms. | Jin Li Quinn Smithwick Daping Chu | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4: | 2
Effects of weeding and fertilization on soil biology and biochemical processes and tree growth in a mixed stand of Dalbergia odorifera and Santalum album显示文摘In southern China, the eucalyptus plantation industry has been severely restricted by government policy over concerns on negative environmental impacts. In its place,large-scale plantations of high-value tropical tree species such as nitrogen-fixing Dalbergia odorifera and hemiparasite Santalum album have been widely cultivated including in mixed-species plantations. However, despite their poor growth, little information is available on suitable silvicultural practices of these plantations. Therefore,we subjected an 8-year-old mixed stand of D.odorifera and S.album to weeding, fertilization, weeding+fertilization,or no(CK)treatments and measured soil microbial biomass, respiration, nutrients, nitrogen mineralization and leaching and tree growth and litter production.Weeding and fertilization decreased microbial biomass but increased soil respiration, inhibited mineralization, had not effect on leaching of soil nitrogen, and improved the nutrient status of plantation soil. All practices improved the growth of D.odorifera.In the mixed plantation, fertilization increased litter production and nutrient content, but weeding and weeding+fertilization decreased growth of S.album and litter production in mixed plantation because weeding decreased the number of S.album haustoria in underground plant roots. In conclusion, fertilization is recommended;however,weeding-related practices are inappropriate for D.odorifera and S.album mixed plantations. These conclusions have important implications for managing other parasite or mixed-species plantations. | Peng Zhang Xiaofei Li Shiyu Xue Zhiyi Cui Daping Xu Zengjiang Yang | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,6: | 2
Interleukin 1 beta-induced chloride currents are important in osteoarthritis onset:an in vitro study显示文摘Persistent hypotonic and inflammatory conditions in the joint cavity can lead to the loss of cartilage matrix and cell death, which are the important mechanisms of osteoarthritis(OA)onset.Previous studies have confirmed that the existence of a hypotonic environment is a red flag for inflammation,as hypotonic environment induces the opening of the chloride channel of the cell and promotes chloride ion efflux, which prompts the cell volume to increase.Chloride channels play an important role in the regulation of mineralization and chondrocyte death. Here,we reported that OA chondrocytes showed a significant increase of cell death rate and the imbalance of cartilage matrix catabolism. We found that the distribution of skeleton protein F-actin was disordered. In addition, the volume-sensitive chloride current of OA chondrocytes decreased significantly with the increase of the expression levels of inflammation-related proteins caspase-1,caspase-3,and NLRP3.Moreover,interleukin-1β(IL-1β)showed a potential to activate the chloride current of normal chondrocytes. These results indicate that IL-1β-induced chloride channel opening in chondrocytes may be closely related to the occurrence of OA.This chloride channel opening process may therefore be a potential target for the treatment of OA. | Zhiqin Deng Zicong Lin Qing Zhong Minqiang Lu Huankun Fang Jianquan Liu Li Duan Lixin Chen Liwei Wang Daping Wang Wencui Li | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4: | 2
Ultra-small platinum nanoparticles segregated by nickle sites for efficient ORR and HER processes显示文摘In the electrochemical process,Pt nanoparticles(NPs)in Pt-based catalysts usually agglomerate due to Oswald ripening or lack of restraint, ultimately resulting in reduction of the active sites and catalytic efficiency. How to uniformly disperse and firmly fix Pt NPs on carbon matrix with suitable particle size for catalysis is still a big challenge.Herein,to prevent the agglomeration and shedding of Pt NPs,Ni species is introduced and are evenly dispersed in the surface of carbon matrix in the form of Ni-N-C active sites(Ni ZIF-NC).The Ni sites can be used to anchor Pt NPs,and then effectively limit the further growth and agglomeration of Pt NPs during the reaction process.Compared with commercial Pt/C catalyst,Pt@Ni ZIF-NC,with ultralow Pt loading(7 wt%)and ideal particle size(2.3 nm),not only increases the active center, but also promotes the catalysis kinetics, greatly improving the ORR and HER catalytic activity.Under acidic conditions, its half-wave potential(0.902 V)is superior to commercial Pt/C(0.861 V),and the mass activity(0.38 A per mg Pt)at 0.9 V is 4.7 times that of Pt/C(0.08 A per mg Pt).Besides,it also shows outstanding HER performance. At 20 and 30 mV,its mass activity is even 2 and 6 times that of Pt/C,respectively.Whether it is under ORR or HER conditions,it still shows excellent durability. These undoubtedly indicate the realization of dual-functional catalysts with low-Pt and high-efficiency properties. | Lvhan Liang Huihui jin Huang Zhou Bingshuai Liu Chenxi Hu Ding Chen Jiawei Zhu Zhe Wang Hai-Wen Li Suli Liu Daping He Shichun Mu | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2: | 2

Decellularized Disc Hydrogels for hBMSCs tissue-specific differentiation and tissue regeneration显示文摘Tissue specificity,a key factor in the decellularized tissue matrix(DTM),has shown bioactive functionalities in tuning cell fate-e.g.,the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells.Notably, cell fate is also determined by the living microenvironment, including material composition and spatial characteristics.Herein, two neighboring tissues within intervertebral discs, the nucleus pulposus(NP)and annulus fibrosus(AF),were carefully processed into DTM hydrogels(abbreviated DNP-G and DAF-G,respectively)to determine the tissue-specific effects on stem cell fate, such as specific components and different culturing methods,as well as in vivo regeneration.Distinct differences in their protein compositions were identified by proteomic analysis.Interestingly, the fate of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(hBMSCs)also responds to both culturing methods and composition.Generally,hBMSCs cultured with DNP-G(3D)differentiated into NP-like cells, while hBMSCs cultured with DAF-G(2D)underwent AF-like differentiation, indicating a close correlation with the native microenvironments of NP and AF cells, respectively.Furthermore,we found that the integrin-mediated RhoA/LATS/YAP1 signaling pathway was activated in DAF-G(2D)-induced AF-specific differentiation.Additionally, the activation of YAP1 determined the tendency of NP-or AF-specific differentiation and played opposite regulatory effects.Finally,DNP-G and DAF-G specifically promoted tissue regeneration in NP degeneration and AF defect rat models, respectively. In conclusion,DNP-G and DAF-G can specifically determine the fate of stem cells through the integrin-mediated RhoA/LATS/YAP1 signaling pathway, and this tissue specificity is both compositional and spatial, supporting the utilization of tissue-specific DTM in advanced treatments of intervertebral disc degeneration. | Yizhong Peng Xiangcheng Qing Hui Lin Donghua Huang Jinye Li Shuo Tian Sheng Liu Xiao Lv Kaige Ma Rui Li Zilong Rao Ying Bai Songfeng Chen Ming Lei Daping Quan Zengwu Shao | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 1
Optimizing noise characteristics of mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser using gain-induced RIN-transfer dynamics显示文摘Gain-parameter-dependent transfer functions and phase-noise performances in a mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser are measured in this study. It is discovered that the corner frequency in the amplitude and phase domains is determined by the absorption coefficient of the gain fiber, when the total absorption and other cavity parameters are fixed. This shows that an oscillator using gain fiber with higher dopant concentration accumulates more phase noise.Furthermore,we present net cavity dispersion-dependent transfer functions to verify the effect of dispersion management on the frequency response. We derive a guideline for optimizing mode-locked fiber laser design to achieve low phase noise and timing jitter. | Jiangshuoxue Han Yang Liu Zejiang Deng Gehui Xie Daping Luo Chenglin Gu Lian Zhou Wenxue Li | 2021 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2021,9,3: | 1
