| 2 | Progress in research and application of water mist fire suppression technology显示文摘Water mist technology in fire suppression has been a subject of many investigations over the last decade. This paper introduces the concept of water mist technology and discusses its extinguishment mechanisms in comparison with other fire suppression systems briefly. A survey is made on the recent applications of water mist for (1) Class B spray and pool fires in machinery spaces, gas turbine enclosures, combat vehicles, and flammable liquid storage rooms; (2) Class A fires in residential occupancies, marine accommoda-tions and public spaces, heritage buildings and libraries; (3) Class C fires in electronic equipment and computer rooms; and (4) the fires in aircraft onboard cabin and cargo com-partments. The paper proceeds to review some new applica-tions of water mist for the Class K fires in commercial cook rooms. Use of water mist for total-ship protection as well as the fire protection of heavy goods vehicle shuttle trains is also investigated. | 9 | Experimental study on fire smoke movement in a multi-floor and multi-room building显示文摘Fire smoke movement of multi-floor and multi-room (MFMR) fire was studied at the model test building in State Key Laboratory of Fire Science (SKLFS). The ingredient, temperature, air pressure difference and air velocity of smoke were measured and analyzed. Meanwhile, the hazard of smoke ingredient to exposed occupants was analyzed based on the national standard, Occupational Exposure Limit for Hazardous Agents in the Workplace (GBZ2-2002). The experimental results showed that the maximum temperature difference in MFMR fire was located along the vertical height from the fire source. With the spreading and diffusion of smoke, the temperature of smoke layer would tend to be no difference. In the fire of woodpile and kerosene, the main smoke ingredients such as SO 2 , CO and CO 2 would first exceed human’s average physiological limit, while smoke ingredients such as NO and NO 2 would come behind. | 11 | Thermal deformation behavior and microstructure of nuclear austenitic stainless steel显示文摘Gleeble-1500D thermal simulation tester was employed in the hot-compression investigation of as-cast nuclear 304 austenitic stainless steel under conditions: deformation temperature 950―1200℃; deformations 30% and 50%; deformation rates 0.01 and 0.1 s?1. The results show that the flow stress decreases with temperature rise under the same strain rate and deformation, that the flow stress increases with deformation under the same temperature and strain rate, and that the flow stress increases with strain rate under the same temperature condition, i.e., work hardening becomes distinct. | 14 | Influence mechanism of boron segregation on the microstructure evolution and hot ductility of super austenitic stainless steel S32654显示文摘Influence mechanism of B segregation on the microstructure evolution and hot ductility of S32654 at850-1250℃was systematically investigated through experimental research and theoretical calculation.The results demonstrated that the segregation of B at grain boundary(GB)played different roles in the microstructure evolution and hot ductility at various temperatures.At 850℃,B segregation inhibited Mo segregation at the GB and enhanced the GB cohesion.At 900-950℃,B segregation restricted the diffusion and segregation of Mo to the GB,inhibiting the precipitation ofσphase.At 1000-1050℃,B segregation accelerated the dislocation accumulation and limited the GB migration,promoting the nucleation and inhibiting the growth of DRX grains.At 1100-1150℃,B has little effect on the DRX due to sufficient energy supply by higher temperature.Under the above beneficial effects of B,the hot ductility of S32654 was improved to varying degrees at 850-1150℃.However,as the temperature increased to1200-1250℃,B segregation decreased the solidus temperature and enhanced the liquefaction cracking tendency,resulting in a deterioration of the hot ductility. | Jiangtao Yu Shucai Zhang Huabing Li Zhouhua Jiang Hao Feng Panpan Xu Peide Han | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17: | 2 |

In this work, we report a high-performanee dual-channel phototransistor based on one-dimensional (1D)/two-dimensional (2D) trigonal selenium (t-Se)/ReS2 heterostructures grown by chemical vapor deposition. The injection and separati on efficie ncy of photoge nerated electro n-hole pairs can be greatly improved due to the high-quality in terfacial con tact betwee n t-Se nano belts and ReS2 films. Compared with bare ReS2 film devices, the dual-cha nnel phototra nsistor based on t-Se/ReS2 heterostructure exhibits considerable enhancement with the responsivity (R) and detectivity (D^*) up to 98 A·W^-1 and 6 x 10^10 Jones at 400 nm illumination with an in tensity of 1.7 mW·cm^-2, respectively. Besides, the respo nse time can also be reduced by three times of magnitude to less than 50 ms due to the type-11 band alignment at the in terface. | 17 | First-Principles Calculations of Electronic, Elastic and Thermal Properties of Magnesium Doped with Alloying Elements显示文摘First-principles calculations have been carried out to investigate the effects of alloying elements(Zn, Li, Y and Sc) on the electronic structure, elastic and thermal properties of Mg solid solution. The calculated cohesive energies show that Mg-Sc has the highest structural stability. The calculations of the densities of states(DOS) and electronic charge density difference indicate that Mg-Y(Sc) alloys have very strong covalent bonding due to a very strong Mg p-Y(Sc) d hybridization. The bulk modulus B, shear modulus G, Young's modulus E and Poisson ratio ν are derived using Voigt-Reuss-Hill(VRH) approximation. The results show that all the alloys can exhibit ductile properties at 2.77 at% R, and Mg-Zn(Li) alloys have the better ductility and plasticity.
