1Networked Control Systems:A Survey of Trends and Techniques显示文摘Networked control systems are spatially distributed systems in which the communication between sensors, actuators,and controllers occurs through a shared band-limited digital communication network. Several advantages of the network architectures include reduced system wiring, plug and play devices,increased system agility, and ease of system diagnosis and maintenance. Consequently, networked control is the current trend for industrial automation and has ever-increasing applications in a wide range of areas, such as smart grids, manufacturing systems,process control, automobiles, automated highway systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The modelling, analysis, and control of networked control systems have received considerable attention in the last two decades. The ‘control over networks’ is one of the key research directions for networked control systems. This paper aims at presenting a survey of trends and techniques in networked control systems from the perspective of ‘control over networks’, providing a snapshot of five control issues: sampled-data control, quantization control, networked control, event-triggered control, and security control. 2Land surface temperature retrieval for arid regions based on Landsat-8 TIRS data:a case study in Shihezi,Northwest China显示文摘Scientific interest in geophysical information about land surface temperature(LST) is ever increasing, as such information provides a base for a large number of applications, including environmental and agricultural monitoring. Therefore, the research of LST retrieval has become a hot topic. Recent availability of Landsat-8 satellite imagery provides a new data source for LST retrieval. Hence, exploring an adaptive method with reliable accuracy seems to be essential. In this study, basing on features of Landsat-8 TIRS thermal infrared channels, we re-calculated parameters in the atmospheric transmittance empirical models of the existing split-window algorithm, and estimated the ground emissivity with the help of the land cover classification map of the study area. Furthermore, a split-window algorithm was rebuilt by virtual of the estimation model of the updated atmospheric transmittance and the ground emissivity, and then a remote sensing retrieval for the LST of Shihezi city in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region of Northwest China was conducted on the basis of this modified algorithm. Finally, precision validation of the new model was implemented by using the MODIS LST products. The results showed that the LST retrieval from Landsat-8 TIRS data based on our algorithm has a higher credibility, and the retrieved LST is more consistent with the MODIS LST products. This indicated that the modified algorithm is suitable for retrieving LST with competitive accuracy. 3Organic carbon accumulation capability of two typical tidal wetland soils in Chongming Dongtan,China显示文摘We measured organic carbon input and content of soil in two wetland areas of Chongming Dongtan(Yangtze River Estuary) to evaluate variability in organic carbon accumulation capability in different wetland soils.Observed differences were investigated based on the microbial activity and environmental factors of the soil at the two sites.Results showed that the organic carbon content of wetland soil vegetated with Phragmites australis(site A) was markedly lower than that with P.australis and Spartina alterniflora(site B).Sites differences were due to higher microbial activity at site A,which led to higher soil respiration intensity and greater carbon outputs.This indicated that the capability of organic carbon accumulation of the site B soils was greater than at site A.In addition,petroleum pollution and soil salinity were different in the two wetland soils.After bio-remediation,the soil petroleum pollution at site B was reduced to a similar level of site A.However,the culturable microbial biomass and enzyme activity in the remediated soils were also lower than at site A.These results indicated that greater petroleum pollution at site B did not markedly inhibit soil microbial activity.Therefore,differences in vegetation type and soil salinity were the primary factors responsible for the variation in microbial activity,organic carbon output and organic carbon accumulation capability between site A and site B.Shiping Zhang Lei Wang Jiajun Hu Wenquan Zhang Xiaohua Fu Yiquan Le Fangming Jin 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1:11

6Variability of soil organic carbon reservation capability between coastal salt marsh and riverside freshwater wetland in Chongming Dongtan and its microbial mechanism显示文摘Two representative zones in Chongming Dongtan which faced the Yangtze River and East China Sea respectively were selected to study the variability of soil organic carbon (SOC) reservation capability between coastal wetland and riverside wetland in the Chongming Dongtan wetland as well as its mechanism by analyzing soil characteristics and plant biomass.The results showed the SOC content of riverside wetland was only 48.61% (P=0.000 < 0.05) that of coastal wetland.As the organic matter inputs from plant litter of the coastal wetland and riverside wetland were approximately the same,the higher soil microbial respiration (SMR) of riverside wetland led to its lower SOC reservation capability.In the riverside wetland,the high soil microbial biomass,higher proportion of β-Proteobacteria,which have strong carbon metabolism activity and the existence of some specific aerobic heterotrophic bacteria such as Bacilli and uncultured Lactococcus,were the important reasons for the higher SMR compared to the coastal wetland.There were additional differences in soil physical and chemical characteristics between the coastal wetland and riverside wetlands.Path analysis of predominant bacteria and microbial biomass showed that soil salinity influenced β-Proteobacteria and microbial biomass most negatively among these physical and chemical factors.Therefore the low salinity of the riverside area was suitable for the growth of microorganisms,especially β-Proteobacteria and some specific bacteria,which led to the high SMR and low SOC reservation capability when compared to the coastal area.Yu Hu Yanli Li Lei Wang Yushu Tang Jinhai Chen Xiaohua Fu Yiquan Le Jihua Wu 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6:7
7Retrieval and Analysis of Coal Fire Temperature in Wuda Coalfield, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘Coal fire burning around the world is an environmental catastrophe characterized by the emission of noxious gases, particulate matter, and condensation by-products. In this study, coal fire temperature is retrieved based on Landsat 5 TM images and Generalized Single-Channel Algorithm (GSCA), in Wuda coalfield, Inner Mongolia, China. Then coal fire zones are extracted by Jenks′ natural breaks and threshold methods based on temperature images. Changes of coal fire zones are analyzed from 1989 to 2008. The results are summarized as follows: 1) The coal fire temperature retrieval method based on Landsat 5 TM and the GSCA model is effective and feasible, because the temperature error is relatively small (from –2.9℃ to +2.6℃) between the measured temperature and the retrieved temperature. 2) The accuracy is relatively high to extract coal fire zones through the Jenks′ natural breaks and threshold methods, because 83.56% of surveyed area is located in the coal fire zones extracted in 2005. 3) The coal fire area increased 9.81 × 10 5 m 2 from 1989 to 2005, and the annual growth is about 6.1 × 10 4 m 2 , with an annual increasing rate of 2.48%. 8Data-driven Transient Stability Assessment Based on Kernel Regression and Distance Metric Learning显示文摘Transient stability assessment(TSA) is of great importance in power systems. For a given contingency, one of the most widely-used transient stability indices is the critical clearing time(CCT), which is a function of the pre-fault power flow.TSA can be regarded as the fitting of this function with the prefault power flow as the input and the CCT as the output. In this paper, a data-driven TSA model is proposed to estimate the CCT. The model is based on Mahalanobis-kernel regression,which employs the Mahalanobis distance in the kernel regression method to formulate a better regressor. A distance metric learning approach is developed to determine the problem-specific distance for TSA, which describes the dissimilarity between two power flow scenarios. The proposed model is more accurate compared to other data-driven methods, and its accuracy can be further improved by supplementing more training samples.Moreover, the model provides the probability density function of the CCT, and different estimations of CCT at different conservativeness levels. 10LIN28 coordinately promotes nucleolar/ribosomal functions and represses the 2C-like transcriptional program in pluripotent stem cells显示文摘LIN28 is an RNA binding protein with important roles in early embryo development,stem cell differentiation/re-programming,tumorigenesis and metabolism.Previous studies have focused mainly on its role in the cytosol where it interacts with Let-7 microRNA precursors or mRNAs,and few have addressed LIN28's role within the nucleus.Here,we show that LIN28 displays dynamic temporal and spatial expression during murine embryo development.Maternal LIN28 expression drops upon exit from the 2-cell stage,and zygotic LIN28 protein is induced at the forming nucleolus during 4-cell to blas-tocyst stage development,to become dominantly expressed in the cytosol after implantation.In cultured pluripotent stem cells(PSCs),loss of LIN28 led to nucleolar stress and activation of a 2-cell/4-cell-like transcriptional program characterized by the expression of endogenous retrovirus genes.Mechanistically,LIN28 binds to small nucleolar RNAs and rRNA to maintain nucleolar integrity,and its loss leads to nucleolar phase separation defects,ribosomal stress and activation of P53 which in turn binds to and activates 2C transcription factor Dux.LIN28 also resides in a complex containing the nucleolar factor Nucleolin(NCL)and the transcrip-tional repressor TRIM28,and LIN28 loss leads to reduced occupancy of the NCL/TRIM28 complex on the Dux and rDNA loci,and thus de-repressed Dux and reduced rRNA expression.Lin28 knockout cells with nucleolar stress are more likely to assume a slowly cycling,translationally inert and anabolically inactive state,which is a part of previously unappreciated 2C-like transcriptional program.These findings elucidate novel roles for nucleolar LIN28 in PSCs,and a new mechanism linking 2C program and nucleolar functions in PSCs and early embryo development.Zhen Sun Hua Yu Jing Zhao Tianyu Tan Hongru Pan Yuqing Zhu Lang Chen Cheng Zhang Li Zhang Anhua Lei Yuyan Xu Xianju Bi Xin Huang Bo Gao Longfei Wang Cristina Correia Ming Chen Qiming Sun Yu Feng Li Shen Hao Wu Jianlong Wang Xiaohua Shen George Q.Daley Hu Li Jin Zhang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,7:4

12mTOR signaling promotes stem cell activation via counterbalancing BMP-mediated suppression during hair regeneration显示文摘Hair follicles(HFs)undergo cycles of degeneration(catagen),rest(telogen),and regeneration(anagen)phases.Anagen begins when the hair follicle stem cells(HFSCs)obtain sufficient activation cues to overcome suppressive signals,mainly the BMP pathway,from their niche cells.Here,we unveil that mTOR complex 1(mTORC1)signaling is activated in HFSCs,which coincides with the HFSC activation at the telogen-to-anagen transition.By using both an inducible conditional gene targeting strategy and a pharmacological inhibition method to ablate or inhibit mTOR signaling in adult skin epithelium before anagen initiation,we demonstrate that HFs that cannot respond to mTOR signaling display significantly delayed HFSC activation and extended telogen.Unexpectedly,BMP signaling activity is dramatically prolonged in mTOR signaling-deficient HFs.Through both gain-and loss-of-function studies in vitro,we show that mTORC1 signaling negatively affects BMP signaling,which serves as a main mechanism whereby mTORC1 signaling facilitates HFSC activation.Indeed,in vivo suppression of BMP by its antagonist Noggin rescues the HFSC activation defect in mTORC1-null skin.Our findings reveal a critical role for mTOR signaling in regulating stem cell activation through counterbalancing BMP-mediated repression during hair regeneration.Zhili Deng Xiaohua Lei Xudong Zhang Huishan Zhang Shuang Liu Qi Chen Huimin Hu Xinyue Wang Lina Ning Yujing Cao Tongbiao Zhao Jiaxi Zhou Ting Chen Enkui Duan 2015Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2015,7,1:3

14The Major Controlling Factors and Different Oolitic Shoal Reservoir Characteristics of the Triassic Feixianguan Formation,Eastern Longgang Area,NE Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘Based on comprehensive analyses of occurrence,petrological observation,pore structure and geochemistry,the different reservoir characteristics and reservoir evolutionary pathways between different oolitic shoal reservoir types of the Feixianguan Formation on the west side of the Kaijiang-Liangping Trough have been studied.There exist three stages of high-energy slope break belts in the Feixianguan period,the corresponding three stages of oolitic shoals gradually migrating in the direction of the trough.Three types of oolitic shoal reservoirs,namely,residual-oolitic dolomite,mold-oolitic dolomite and sparry oolitic limestone,were formed during sedimentary-diagenetic evolution,the pore types being intergranular dissolved pore,mold pore(or intragranular dissolved pore)and residual intergranular pore,respectively.The petrology,physical properties and pore structure of the different types of oolitic shoal reservoirs are quite different.Residual-oolitic dolomite reservoirs have the best quality,while sparry oolitic limestone reservoirs have the poorest.Combined with analyses of trace elements,rare earth elements and carbon-oxygen isotopes,it is suggested that the formation of residual-oolitic dolomite reservoirs is jointly controlled by penesaline seawater seepage-reflux dolomitization and hydrothermal dolomitization.Mold-pore oolitic dolomite reservoirs are controlled by penesaline seawater seepage-reflux dolomitization and meteoric water solution.The burial dissolution of organic acid not only further improves the reservoir qualities of previously formed oolitic dolomite reservoirs,but also preserves residual intergranular pores in the sparry oolitic limestone reservoirs.GU Yifan JIANG Yuqiang LEI Xiaohua CHEN Zhiyong ZHOU Lu FU Yonghong JIANG Zengzheng 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,3:3

17Relation of Submarine Landslide to HydrateOccurrences in Baiyun Depression,South China Sea显示文摘Submarine landslides have been observed in the Baiyun Depression of the South China Sea. The occurrence of hydrates below these landslides indicates that these slope instabilities may be closely related to the massive release of methane. In this study, we used a simple Monte-Carlo model to determine the first-order deformation pattern of a gravitationally destabilizing slope. The results show that a stress concentration occurs due to hydrate dissociation on the nearby glide surface and on top of a gas chimney structure. Upon the dissolution of the gas hydrate, slope failure occurs due to the excess pore pressure generated by the dissociation of the gas hydrates. When gas hydrates dissociate at shallow depths, the excess pore pressure generated can be greater than the total stress acting at those points, along with the forces that resist sliding. Initially, the failure occurs at the toe of the slope, then extends to the interior. 18Universally improving effect of mixed electron donors on the CO_2 fixing efficiency of non-photosynthetic microbial communities from marine environments显示文摘The universality of improved CO2 fixing upon the addition of mixed electron donors(MEDs)composed of Na2 S,NO2-,and S2O32-to non-photosynthetic microbial communities(NPMCs)obtained from 12 locations in four oceans of the world was validated. The CO2 fixing efficiencies of NPMCs were universally enhanced by MED compared with those obtained using H2 alone as electron donor,with average increase of about 276%. An increase in microbial inoculation concentration could increase the net amount of CO2 fixing to853.34 mg/L in the presence of MED. NO2-and S2O32-may play the roles of both electron acceptor and electron donor under aerobic conditions,which may improve the energy utilization efficiency of NPMC and enhance the CO2 fixation efficiency. The sequence determination of 16 S ribosomal deoxyribonucleic acid(rDNA) from 150 bacteria of NPMC showed that more than 50% of the bacteria were symbiotic and there were many heterotrophic bacteria such as Vibrio natriegens. These results indicate that NPMC acts as a symbiotic CO2 fixing system. 19A Pragmatic Method to Determine Transient Stability Constrained with Interface Real Power Flow Limits via Power System Scenario Similarity显示文摘In practical power systems,operators generally keep interface flowing under the transient stability constrained with interface real power flow limits(TS-IRPFL)to guarantee transient stability of the system.Many methods of computing TS-IRPFL have been proposed.However,in practice,the method widely used to determine TS-IRPFL is based on selection and analysis of typical scenarios as well as scenario matching.First,typical scenarios are selected and analyzed to obtain accurate limits,then the scenario to be analyzed is matched with a certain typical scenario,whose limit is adopted as the forecast limit.In this paper,following the steps described above,a pragmatic method to determine TS-IRPFL is proposed.The proposed method utilizes data-driven tools to improve the steps of scenario selection and matching.First of all,we formulate a clear model of power system scenario similarity.Based on the similarity model,we develop a typical scenario selector by clustering and a scenario matcher by nearest neighbor algorithm.The proposed method is pragmatic because it does not change the existing procedure.Moreover,it is much more reasonable than the traditional method.Test results verify the validity of the method.Xianzhuang Liu Yong Min Lei Chen Xiaohua Zhang Changyou Feng Wei Hu 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,1:1
