| 2 | Tandem pore TWIK-related potassium channels and neuroprotection显示文摘TWIK-related potassium channels (TREK) belong to a subfamily of the two-pore domain potassium channels family with three members, TREK1, TREK2 and TWIK-related arachidonic acid-activated potassium channels. The two-pore domain potassium channels is the last big family of channels being discovered, therefore it is not surprising that most of the information we know about TREK channels predominantly comes from the study of heterologously expressed channels. Notw让hstanding, in this review we pay special attention to the limited amount of information available on native TREK-like channels and real neurons in relation to neuroprotection. | 3 | Performance evaluation of creep feed grinding ofγ-TiAl intermetallics with electroplated diamond wheels显示文摘This paper evaluates the performance of creep feed grindingγ-TiAl intermetallic(Ti-45 Al-2 Mn-2 Nb)using electroplated diamond wheels.Firstly,a comparative analysis with the grinding results by using electroplated CBN wheels was conducted,mainly involving abrasive wheel wear behavior and maximum material removal rate below surface burn limit.It was found that the diamond wheel would produce much better grinding results including lower wheel wear rate and higher maximum material removal rate.Then the surface integrity obtained at different level of material removal rate was characterized with the utilization of the diamond wheel.The poor ductility of thisγ-TiAl intermetallic material was found to have a marginal effect on the surface integrity,as no severe surface defects such as material pullout were generated during the stable wheel wear stage.For the involved operating parameters,a deformation layer was produced with~10μm or more in thickness depending on the material removal rate used.Meanwhile,a work-hardened layer extending to more than 100μm was produced with a maximum microhardness of above 520 HV0.05(bulk value 360 HV0.05).The residual stress remained compressive,with a value of above-100 MPa and even up to-500 MPa for an elevated material removal rate.Shearing chip was the main chip type,indicating good wheel sharpness in the grinding process. | Xinxin XI Wenfeng DING Zhixin WU Lama ANGGEI | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021，34，6： | 5 |

| 8 | The use of a standardized Chinese herbal formula in patients with advanced lung cancer:a feasibility study显示文摘Objective: Increasing numbers of cancer patients are using Chinese herbs(CHs). However, differences among prior studies make it difficult to draw firm conclusions about the clinical usefulness of any specific CH formula. The primary objective of this study was to establish the acceptability of taking a standardized CH formula for patients with advanced lung cancer. The secondary objective was to identify any toxicities attributable to this CH formula and to measure changes in quality of life.Methods: A single-arm, prospective study of a 6-week intervention with a selected CH formula in15 patients with stage 4 nonsmall-cell lung cancer(NSCLC, Seventh American Joint Committee on Cancer TNM staging system).Results: Patients with advanced lung cancer were interested in using the CH formula. Completion(93%)and adherence(98%) levels were very high and most patients perceived the CH treatment as easy to take and were willing to take the CHs used in the study again if it was available. About half of the patients reported adverse events, all of which were mild(Grade 1 or 2) and only a small minority(8%) were potentially related to CHs. No biochemical or hematological evidence of toxicity was observed.
