1烧结工艺使用气体燃料喷入技术减少CO_2排放显示文摘JFE钢铁公司开发了在烧结矿表面喷入含氢的气体燃料技术,可不增加焦粉配比,提高烧结矿质量。使用该技术,含氢气体可部分替代焦粉,使1200~1400℃的燃烧层变宽成为可能。通过X射线对多孔状的烧结饼进行CT检查与烧结锅试验,从理论到实践都证明了喷入燃料气体技术的使用效果。保持1200~1400℃的温度带,为生产高强度、高还原性的烧结矿至关重要,它能使合适的温度带变宽、液相率增加、提高1~5mm孔隙间的熔合并提升烧结矿强度。大于5mm的孔隙的烧结矿数量增多提高了料层的透气性,低温烧结工艺也抑制了铁矿石的自身熔化。而在未熔化的铁矿石中,小于1μm的微孔隙的存在也使烧结矿的还原性提高,从而改善烧结饼的孔隙结构,提高烧结矿质量。2009年1月,京浜1号烧结机应用了该技术,到目前为止工况稳定。结果,烧结工序的能源利用率大幅提升,减排CO2约6万t/a。Nobuyuki Oyama Yuji Iwami Satoshi Machida Takahide Higuchi Tetsuya Yamamoto Yushinori Watanabe Michitaka Sato Kanji Takeda Masakata Shimizu Koki Nishioka 何海良 2013世界钢铁2013,,1:11
2Long-lasting discussion: Adverse effects of intraoperative blood loss and allogeneic transfusion on prognosis of patients with gastric cancer显示文摘Gastrectomy with radical lymph node dissection is the most promising treatment avenue for patients with gastric cancer. However, this procedure sometimes induces excessive intraoperative blood loss and requires perioperative allogeneic blood transfusion. There are lasting discussions and controversies about whether intraoperative blood loss or perioperative blood transfusion has adverse effects on the prognosis in patients with gastric cancer. We reviewed laboratory and clinical evidence of these associations in patients with gastric cancer. A large amount of clinical evidence supports the correlation between excessive intraoperative blood loss and adverse effects on the prognosis. The laboratory evidence revealed three possible causes of such adverse effects: anti-tumor immunosuppression, unfavorable postoperative conditions, and peritoneal recurrence by spillage of cancer cells into the pelvis. Several systematic reviews and meta-analyses have suggested the adverse effects of perioperative blood transfusions on prognostic parameters such as all-cause mortality, recurrence, and postoperative complications. There are two possible causes of adverse effects of blood transfusions on the prognosis: Anti-tumor immunosuppression and patient-related confounding factors (e.g., preoperative anemia). These factors are associated with a worse prognosis and higher requirement for perioperative blood transfusions. 3Simultaneously disrupting AtPrx2,AtPrx25 and AtPrx71 alters lignin content and structure in Arabidopsis stem显示文摘Plant class III heme peroxidases catalyze lignin polymerization. Previous reports have shown that at least three Arabidopsis thaliana peroxidases, At Prx2, At Prx25 and At Prx71,are involved in stem lignification using T-DNA insertion mutants,atprx2, atprx25, and atprx71. Here, we generated three double mutants, atprx2/atprx25, atprx2/atprx71, and atprx25/atprx71,and investigated the impact of the simultaneous de ficiency of these peroxidases on lignins and plant growth. Stem tissue analysis using the acetyl bromide method and derivatization followed by reductive cleavage revealed improved lignin characteristics, such as lowered lignin content and increased arylglycerolb-aryl(b-O-4) linkage type, especially b-O-4 linked syringyl units, in lignin, supporting the roles of these genes in lignin polymerization. In addition, none of the double mutants oexhibited severe growth defects, such as shorter plant stature, dwar fing, or sterility, and their stems had improved cell wall degradability. 4Erect panicle super rice varieties enhance yield by harvest index advantages in high nitrogen and density conditions显示文摘The erect panicle(Ep) type is an important characteristic for japonica super rice in Northeast China and plays a significant role in enhancing yield. The Ep type is considered to be a genetic ideotype resource to the japonica super rice group by virtue of its agronomic advantages such as grain number per panicle and biomass. This study addresses the effects of nitrogen and planting density conditions on yielding performance regarding panicle type(PT) using the recombinant inbred line(RIL) population derived from the cross between an Ep variety Liaogeng 5 and non-Ep variety Wanlun 422. The genetics underlying the Ep type proved to be robust not only for panicle-type optimization but also plant height, panicle length, flag leaf length and seed density. We also found that regardless of nitrogen and density, correlation between harvest index(HI) and plant height was not significant in Ep type whatever the nitrogen and density. 5Efficacy of tolvaptan in patients with refractory ascites in a clinical setting显示文摘AIM: To elucidate the efficacies of tolvaptan(TLV) as a treatment for refractory ascites compared with conventional treatment. METHODS: We retrospectively enrolled 120 refractory ascites patients between January 1, 2009 and September 31, 2014. Sixty patients were treated with oral TLV at a starting dose of 3.75 mg/d in addition to sodium restriction(> 7 g/d), albumin infusion(10-20 g/wk), and standard diuretic therapy(20-60 mg/d furosemide and 25-50 mg/d spironolactone) and 60 patients with large volume paracentesis in addition to sodium restriction(less than 7 g/d), albumin infusion(10-20 g/wk), and standard diuretic therapy(20-120 mg/d furosemide and 25-150 mg/d spironolactone). Patient demographics and laboratory data, including liver function, were not matched due to the small number of patients. Continuous variables were analyzed by unpaired t-test or paired t-test. Fisher's exact test was applied in cases comparing two nominal variables. We analyzed factors affecting clinical outcomes using receiver operating characteristic curves and multivariate regression analysis. We also used multivariate Cox's proportional hazard regression analysis to elucidate the risk factors that contributed to the increased incidence of ascites.RESULTS: TLV was effective in 38(63.3%) patients. The best cut-off values for urine output and reduced urine osmolality as measures of refractory ascites improvement were > 1800 mL within the first 24 h and > 30%, respectively. Multivariate regression analysis indicated that > 25% reduced urine osmolality [odds ratio(OR) = 20.7; P < 0.01] and positive hepatitis C viral antibodies(OR = 5.93; P = 0.05) were positively correlated with an improvement of refractory ascites, while the total bilirubin level per 1.0 mg/dL(OR = 0.57;P = 0.02) was negatively correlated with improvement. In comparing the TLV group and controls, only the serum sodium level was significantly lower in the TLV group(133 mE q/L vs 136 mE q/L; P = 0.02). However, there were no significant differences in the other parameters between the two groups. The cumulative incidence rate was significantly higher in the control group with a median incidence time of 30 d in the TLV group and 20 d in the control group(P = 0.01). Cox hazard proportional multivariate analysis indicated that the use of TLV(OR = 0.58; P < 0.01), uncontrolled liver neoplasms(OR = 1.92; P < 0.01), total bilirubin level per 1.0 mg/dL(OR = 1.10; P < 0.01), and higher sodium level per 1.0 m Eq/L(OR = 0.94; P < 0.01) were independent factors that contributed to incidence. 11Screening of agonistic activities against four nuclear receptors in wastewater treatment plants in Japan using a yeast two-hybrid assay显示文摘To assess the potential endocrine disruptive effects through multiple nuclear receptors(NRs),especially non-steroidal NRs,in municipal wastewater,we examined the agonistic activities on four NRs(estrogen receptor α,thyroid hormone receptor α,retinoic acid receptor α and retinoid X receptor α) of untreated and treated wastewater from municipal wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs) in Japan using a yeast two-hybrid assay.Investigation of the influent and effluent of seven WWTPs revealed that agonistic activities against steroidal and non-steroidal NRs were always detected in the influents and partially remained in the effuents.Further investigation of four WWTPs employing conventional activated sludge,pseudo-anoxic-oxic,anoxic-oxic and anaerobic-anoxic-oxic processes revealed that the ability to reduce the agonistic activity against each of the four NRs varies depending on the treatment process.These results indicated that municipal wastewater in Japan commonly contains endocrine disrupting chemicals that exert agonistic activities on steroidal and non-steroidal NRs,and that some of these chemicals are released into the natural aquatic environment.Although the results obtained in yeast assays suggested that measured levels of non-steroidal NR agonists in the effluent of WWTPs were not likely to cause any biological effect,further study is required to assess their possible risks in detail.Daisuke Inoue Koki Nakama Kazuko Sawada Taro Watanabe Hisae Matsui Kazunari Sei Tsuyoshi Nakanishi Michihiko Ike 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1:2

13Is the measurement of drain amylase content useful for predicting pancreas-related complications after gastrectomy with systematic lymphadenectomy?显示文摘Many studies investigating postoperative pancreatic fistula(POPF)after gastrectomy,including studies measuring drain amylase content(D-AMY)as a predictive factor have been reported.This article reviews previous studies and looks to the future of measuring D-AMY in patients after gastrectomy.The causes of pancreatic fluid leakage are;the parenchymal and/or thermal injury to the pancreas,and blunt injury to the pancreas by compression and retraction.Measurement of D-AMY to predict POPF has become common in clinical practice after pancreatic surgery and was later extended to the gastric surgery.Several studies have reported associations between D-AMY and POPF after gastrectomy,and the high value of D-AMY on postoperative day(POD)1 was an independent risk factor.To improve both sensitivity and specificity,attempts have been made to enhance the predictive accuracy of factors on POD 1 as well as on POD 3 as combined markers.Although several studies have shown a high predictive ability of POPF,it has not necessarily been exploited in clinical practice.Many problems remain unresolved;ideal timing for measurement,optimal cut-off value,and means of intervention after prediction.Prospective clinical trial could be imperative in order to develop D-AMY measurement in common clinical practice for gastric surgery.Koki Nakanishi Mitsuro Kanda Junichi Sakamoto Yasuhiro Kodera 2020World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,14:2
