2Characterizing optical dipole trap via fluorescence of trapped cesium atoms显示文摘Optical dipole trap (ODT) is becoming an important tool of manipulating neu- tral atoms. In this paper ODT is realized with a far-off resonant laser beam strongly fo- cused in the magneto-optical trap (MOT) of cesium atoms. The light shift is measured by simply monitoring the fluorescence of the atoms in the magneto-optical trap and the opti- cal dipole trap simultaneously. 4Elimination of a Retrotransposon for Quenching Genome Instability in Modern Rice显示文摘Transposable elements(TEs)constitute the most abundant portions of plant genomes and can dramatically shape host genomes during plant evolution.They also play important roles in crop domestication.However,whether TEs themselves are also selected during crop domestication has remained unknown.Here,we identify an active long terminal repeat(LTR)retrotransposon,HUO,as a potential target of selection during rice domestication and breeding.HUO is a low-copy-number LTR retrotransposon,and is active under natural growth conditions and transmitted through male gametogenesis,preferentially inserting into genomic regions capable of transcription.HUO exists in all wild rice accessions and about half of the archaeological rice grains(1200–7000 years ago)and landraces surveyed,but is absent in almost all modern varieties,indicating its gradual elimination during rice domestication and breeding.Further analyses showed that HUO is subjected to strict gene silencing through the RNA-directed DNA methylation pathway.Our results also suggest that multiple HUO copies may trigger genomic instability through altering genome-wide DNA methylation and small RNA biogenesis and changing global gene expression,resulting in decreased disease resistance and yield,coinciding with its elimination during rice breeding.Together,our study suggests that negative selection of an active retrotransposon might be important for genome stability during crop domestication and breeding.Yu Peng Yingying Zhang Yijie Gui Dong An Junzhong Liu Xun Xu Qun Li Junmin Wang Wen Wang Chunhai Shi Longjiang Fan Baorong Lu Yiwen Deng Sheng Teng Zuhua He 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,10:2

7Biological Effect Studies of Norfloxacin Complexes on Tetrahymena and Escherichia Coli by Microcalorimetry显示文摘Norfloxacin complexes Co(nor)_2·8H_2O(nor=norfloxacin) and [Co(nor)(phen)]NO_3·2H_2O(phen=1,10-phenanthroline) were synthesized and their biological activity on Tetrahymena and Escherichia coli(E.coli) was assayed by means of microcalorimetry. Massive experimental parameters such as the growth constant k, inhibitory ratio I, half inhibition concentration IC_(50) and generation time TG were obtained. Data showed that with the increase of exposing complex concentration, both complexes exhibited strong inhibition during the growth of organisms. While toxic degrees were quite different on Tetrahymena and E.coli, due to various toxic mechanisms. 14Pool-formation and secondary change of biodegraded viscous oils:Case study of reservoir section in the ZhengjiaWangzhuang Oilfield, Jiyang Depression显示文摘It is demonstrated by various geochemical indexes that the Zhengjia-Wangzhuang Oilfield with viscous crude oil in the Jiyang Depression has been sourced from the contribution of matured source rocks in the upper Es4. The principal cause leading to the densification of crude oils would be biodegradation, with the degradation level of crude oils being ranked as 2-8; vertically, the biodegradation level increases from the top to bottom of the oil column, with a distinctive biodegradation gradient occurring. Calculated parameters of sterane, terpane and methyl-phenanthrene have indicated that the source-rock’s maturity of crude oils and asphaltic sands ranges from 0.7 to 0.9, and based on the calculation of Easy Ro model, the temperature of hydrocarbon generation in the source rock would be within 120-140℃, which coincides with the measurements of reservoir inclusions.
