1Selection,proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow-derived liver stem cells with a culture system containing cholestatic serum in vitro显示文摘AIM: To explore the feasibility of direct separation, selective proliferation and differentiation of the bone marrow-derived liver stem cells (BDLSC) from bone marrow cells with a culture system containing cholestatic serum in vitro. METHODS: Whole bone marrow cells of rats cultured in routine medium were replaced with conditioning selection media containing 20mL/L, 50mL/L, 70mL/L, and 100mL/L cholestatic sera, respectively, after they attached to the plates. The optimal concentration of cholestatic serum was determined according to the outcome of the selected cultures. Then the selected BDLSC were induced to proliferate and differentiate with the addition of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). The morphology and phenotypic markers of BDLSC were characterized using immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR and electron microscopy. The metabolic functions of differentiated cells were also determined by glycogen staining and urea assay. RESULTS: Bone marrow cells formed fibroblast-like but not hepatocyte-like colonies in the presence of 20mL/L cholestatic serum. In 70mL/L cholestatic serum, BDLSC colonies could be selected but could not maintain good growth status. In 100mL/L cholestatic serum, all of the bone marrow cells were unable to survive. A 50mL/L cholestatic serum was the optimal concentration for the selection of BDLSC at which BDLSC could survive while the other populations of the bone marrow cells could not. The selected BDLSC proliferated and differentiated after HGF was added. Hepatocyte-like colony-forming units (H-CFU) then were formed. H-CFU expressed markers of embryonic hepatocytes (AFP, albumin and cytokeratin 8/18), biliary cells (cytokeratin 19), hepatocyte functional proteins (transthyretin and cytochrome P450-2b1), and hepatocyte nuclear factors (HNF-1α and HNF-3β). They also had glycogen storage and urea synthesis functions, two of the critical features of hepatocytes. CONCLUSION: The selected medium containing cholestatic serum can select BDLSC from whole bone marrow cells. 4Ginsenoside Rg3 inhibits colon cancer cell migration by suppressing nuclear factor kappa B activity显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To study the mechanism of the inhibitory effect of ginsenoside Rg3 on colon cancer cell migration.METHODS: Transwell migration assays were performed to investigate the inhibitory effect of ginsenoside Rg3 on SW480 cell migration. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays(EMSAs) and dual luciferase reporter assays were used to study the suppression capability of Rg3 on nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) activity. Western blotting was adopted to determine protein levels.RESULTS: Two-hundred micromolar ginsenoside Rg3 significantly inhibited SW480 cell migration(P < 0.05). EMSA showed that Rg3 suppressed the DNA binding ability of NF-κB. Dual luciferase reporter assay showed that Rg3 decreased NF-κB-regulated gene transcription(P < 0.01). Western blots indicated that Rg3 down-regulated expression of the NF-κB-regulated matrix metalloproteinase 9,cyclooxygenase-2 and C-Myc. An NF-κB inhibitor,pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate,enhanced the inhibitory effect of Rg3 on SW480 cell migration.CONCLUSION: Ginsenoside Rg3 has a strong antitumor migration capability by suppressing NF-κB activity and expression of NF-κB-regulated gene products. 5A wave energy resource assessment in the China's seas based on multi-satellite merged radar altimeter data显示文摘Wave energy resources are abundant in both offshore and nearshore areas of the China's seas. A reliable assessment of the wave energy resources must be performed before they can be exploited. First, for a water depth in offshore waters of China, a parameterized wave power density model that considers the effects of the water depth is introduced to improve the calculating accuracy of the wave power density. Second, wave heights and wind speeds on the surface of the China's seas are retrieved from an AVISO multi-satellite altimeter data set for the period from 2009 to 2013. Three mean wave period inversion models are developed and used to calculate the wave energy period. Third, a practical application value for developing the wave energy is analyzed based on buoy data. Finally, the wave power density is then calculated using the wave field data. Using the distribution of wave power density, the energy level frequency, the time variability indexes, the total wave energy and the distribution of total wave energy density according to a wave state, the offshore wave energy in the China's seas is assessed. The results show that the areas of abundant and stable wave energy are primarily located in the north-central part of the South China Sea, the Luzon Strait, southeast of Taiwan in the China's seas; the wave power density values in these areas are approximately 14.0–18.5 k W/m. The wave energy in the China's seas presents obvious seasonal variations and optimal seasons for a wave energy utilization are in winter and autumn. Except for very coastal waters, in other sea areas in the China's seas, the energy is primarily from the wave state with 0.5 m≤H s≤4 m, 4 s≤T e≤10 s where H s is a significant wave height and T e is an energy period; within this wave state, the wave energy accounts for 80% above of the total wave energy. This characteristic is advantageous to designing wave energy convertors(WECs). The practical application value of the wave energy is higher which can be as an effective supplement for an energy consumption in some areas. 6加拿大新生儿重症监护病房早产儿机械通气期间麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂应用趋势的回顾性研究(英文)显示文摘早产儿气管插管有创机械通气可引起患儿不适,但是否导致疼痛仍存有争议。已发表的荟萃分析显示,早产儿机械通气期间应用麻醉镇痛药并未减轻患儿疼痛。因此,不推荐对新生儿重症监护病房(NICU)机械通气早产儿常规应用麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂。假设目前加拿大NICU早产儿机械通气过程中麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂的使用呈下降趋势。该研究回顾性分析了2004~2009年间出生胎龄<35周、需要有创机械通气>24 h的早产儿接受镇静剂和麻醉镇痛药使用的趋势。入院时处于濒死状态、先天畸形、需要外科手术(除外眼科激光手术)、坏死性小肠结肠炎、胸腔置管引流或孕母有麻醉药品滥用史的早产儿不纳入该研究。根据早产儿是否接受麻醉镇痛药(如吗啡、芬太尼、美沙酮、舒芬太尼、杜冷丁、阿芬太尼和可待因等)或镇静剂(如水合氯醛、咪达唑仑、劳拉西泮、苯巴比妥、戊巴比妥、氯胺酮和丙泊酚)以及早产儿胎龄(胎龄<29周和胎龄29~34周)分组,采用Cochrane-Armitage趋势分析方法评估早产儿麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂的应用趋势。5 638名早产儿符合纳入标准,其中2 169名(38.5%)应用了麻醉镇痛药,897名(15.9%)应用了镇静剂,722名(12.8%)同时接受了麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂治疗。最常用的麻醉镇痛药是吗啡(62.2%)和芬太尼(63.8%);最常用的镇静剂是苯巴比妥(44.9%)和水合氯醛(44.2%)。镇静剂的使用在胎龄<29周和胎龄29~34周两组早产儿中均呈明显的下降趋势(P<0.01);但胎龄<29周组早产儿麻醉镇痛药的使用显著增加(P=0.03),胎龄29~34周组麻醉镇痛药的使用未发现明显的趋势变化。经历有创机械通气的新生儿有疼痛感受吗?机体会产生应激反应吗?据成人有创通气的研究结果报道,约25%的ICU患者出院后仍记得在ICU住院期间的感受,并承认经历气管插管和有创机械通气的过程是很痛苦的。然而,现实中很难区分患者的疼痛感受是由于ICU住院期间的有创通气引起,抑或是因在ICU住院期间躯体的疾病或其他因素所致。同理,对于住院期间早产儿皮质醇水平的升高,是由于疾病的严重程度或因机械通气引起的疼痛和/或应激所致同样很难鉴别。查阅大量文献发现,有创机械通气期间麻醉镇痛药或镇静剂的使用并没有减轻患者的痛苦,然而药物潜在的不良反应却令人担忧。但目前在NICU住院早产儿有创机械通气过程中,给患儿应用麻醉镇痛药或镇静剂仍然是很普遍的现象。该研究数据来自于加拿大新生儿协作网,该协作网覆盖了加拿大全国范围内30家三甲医院。样本量大,数据收集方法有效、可靠,这是该研究的主要优势。其主要不足在于机械通气早产儿没有明确的应用镇静或麻醉镇痛药物的指征,一些分析只能是从现有的数据外推。此外,该研究早产儿上机过程中其他非药物镇痛替代措施的应用,也可能会高估或低估麻醉镇痛药/镇静剂的作用。其他的影响因素还包括:缺乏疾病的严重度、上机时间以及麻醉镇痛/镇静药物应用的评估依据,以及研究资料未能收集到上机过程中环境因素或非药物干预措施减轻患儿不适/应激/疼痛的数据,所以不能对机械通气过程中麻醉镇痛/镇静剂使用趋势做出更为深入的解释。目前,令人担忧的是,机械通气过程中接受阿片类药物镇痛的早产儿是受药物不良反应影响的高风险人群,而这些药物在这个群体中的应用又呈现增加趋势;但如果对NICU住院早产儿经历的疼痛和应激不予管理,也会对其神经系统发育产生近期和远期的不良影响。因此,在临床实践中,必须对早产儿的疼痛采用量表进行评估,根据循证医学指南指导麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂的应用,从患儿舒适的角度制定治疗和护理方案。尽管麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂可能的潜在不良反应的否定证据也逐渐增加,但加拿大新生儿医师仍然担忧机械通气早产儿连续应用麻醉镇痛药和镇静剂以及肌松剂的不良反应。用非药物的措施减轻机械通气患儿的不适/应激/疼痛的研究日益增多并受到广泛的关注,且有巨大的应用前景。一些在研的、旨在减轻早产儿上机过程中经历的中等程度的疼痛/应激、同时又尽可能限制药物不良反应并考虑到对患儿远期神经发育影响药物的研究已经得到批准。另外,住院新生儿经历的慢性疼痛也引起了许多学者的重视,且也成为一个新兴的研究热点,需要学者们开展更深入的研究。小结:加拿大NICU胎龄<35周的机械通气早产儿镇静剂的使用呈下降趋势,临床应用遵循了循证医学的证据,但麻醉镇痛药的使用在胎龄29~34周早产儿组并没有变化,且超低胎龄早产儿组(胎龄<29周)麻醉镇痛药的使用呈增加趋势。加拿大的新生儿医师在决定是否给有创机械通气的早产儿使用麻醉镇痛/镇静剂时是慎重的,但该研究结果显示加拿大NICU早产儿机械通气期间麻醉镇痛药的使用并没有呈下降趋势,其原因尚需进一步深入研究。Jennifer M Toye Lucia Mirea Junmin Yang Koravangattu Sankaran 刘玲 2018中国当代儿科杂志2018,20,1:11
7PCA-based sea-ice image fusion of optical data by HIS transform and SAR data by wavelet transform显示文摘Sea ice as a disaster has recently attracted a great deal of attention in China. Its monitoring has become a routine task for the maritime sector. Remote sensing, which depends mainly on SAR and optical sensors, has become the primary means for sea-ice research. Optical images contain abundant sea-ice multi-spectral information, whereas SAR images contain rich sea-ice texture information. If the characteristic advantages of SAR and optical images could be combined for sea-ice study, the ability of sea-ice monitoring would be improved. In this study, in accordance with the characteristics of sea-ice SAR and optical images, the transformation and fusion methods for these images were chosen. Also, a fusion method of optical and SAR images was proposed in order to improve sea-ice identification. Texture information can play an important role in sea-ice classification. Haar wavelet transformation was found to be suitable for the sea-ice SAR images, and the texture information of the sea-ice SAR image from Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar(ASAR) loaded on ENVISAT was documented. The results of our studies showed that, the optical images in the hue-intensity-saturation(HIS) space could reflect the spectral characteristics of the sea-ice types more efficiently than in the red-green-blue(RGB) space, and the optical image from the China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite(CBERS-02B) was transferred from the RGB space to the HIS space. The principal component analysis(PCA) method could potentially contain the maximum information of the sea-ice images by fusing the HIS and texture images. The fusion image was obtained by a PCA method, which included the advantages of both the sea-ice SAR image and the optical image. To validate the fusion method, three methods were used to evaluate the fused image, i.e., objective, subjective, and comprehensive evaluations. 8Analysis of the CDR3 Length Repertoire and the Diversity of TCRα Chain in Human Peripheral Blood T Lymphocytes显示文摘Analysis of complementarity determining region 3 (CDR3) length of T lymphocyte receptors (TCRs) by immunoscope spectratyping technique has been used successfully to investigate the diversity of TCR in autoimmune diseases and infection diseases. In this study, we investigated the patterns of CDR3 length distribution for all 32 TCR AV gene families in human peripheral blood lymphocytes of four normal volunteers by the immunoscope spectratyping technique. It was found that PCR products exhibited an obscure band on 1.5% agarose gel electrophoresis. Each TCR AV family exhibited more than 8 bands on 6% sequencing gel electrophoresis. The CDR3 spectratyping of all TCR AV families showed a standard Gaussian distribution with different CDR3 length, and the expression frequency of CDR3 was similar among the gene families. Most of CDR3 in TCR AV family recombine in frame. However, some of the CDR3 showed out-of frame gene rearrangement. Additionally, we found that in some of TCR AV families there were 18 amino acid discrepancies between the longest CDR3 and shortest CDR3. 9A study of the spatial-temporal distribution and propagation characteristics of internal waves in the Andaman Sea using MODIS显示文摘This paper describes investigations of the internal waves in the Andaman Sea using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)imagery over the period of June 2010 to May 2016.Results of the spatial and temporal distribution,generation sources and propagation characteristics of internal waves are presented.The statistical analysis shows that internal waves can be observed in almost the entire area of the Andaman Sea.Most internal waves are observed in the northern,central and southern regions of the Andaman Sea.A significant number of internal waves between 7°N and 9°N in the East Indian Ocean are also observed.Internal waves can be observed year-round in the Andaman Sea,while most of internal waves are observed between February and April,with a maximum frequency of 15.03%in March.The seasonal distribution of the internal waves shows that the internal waves have mostly been observed in the dry season(February to April),and fewer internal waves are observed in the rainy season(May to October).The double peak distribution for the occurrence frequency of internal waves is found.With respect to the lunar influence,more internal waves are observed after the spring tide,which implies the spring tide may play an important role in internal wave generation in the Andaman Sea.Generation sources of internal waves are explored based on the propagation characteristics of internal waves.The results indicate that six sources are located between the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands,and one is located in the northern Andaman Sea.Four regions with active internal wave phenomenon in the Andaman Sea were presented during the MODIS survey,and the propagation speed of internal waves calculated based on the semidiurnal generation period is smaller than the results acquired from pairs of the images with short time intervals.Lina Sun Jie Zhang Junmin Meng 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,7:10
10Curative effect of Dingqi analgesic patch on cancer pain:a single-blind randomized controlled trail显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the curative effect of an acupoint application with a Dingqi analgesic patch on moderate to severe pain caused by liver cancer.METHODS:Forty patients with moderate to severe pain caused by liver cancer were randomly divided intoatreatmentgroup(TG)andacontrolgroup(CG).Patients with moderate pain were given 100 mg qd of a sustainably released tablet of tramadol hydrochloride;patientswithseverepainweregiven4.2mg q3d of the fentanyl transdermal system.The ashi points Ganshu(BL 18),Danshu(BL 19) and Qimen(LR 14) were chosen for the acupoint application intervention.CG patients were given a sham patch and TG patients were given a Dingqi analgesic patch.A visual analogue scale(VAS) was used before treatment and after 1,3,6,9 and 12 days of treatment.The Karnofsky score was measured before treatment and after 12 days of treatment.Any main adverse reactions(e.g.nausea,constipation,dizziness and headache) were recorded after 6 and 12 days of treatment.Any skin side effects(i.e.skin irritation and allergic reactions) were recorded.RESULTS:The VAS in TG was significantly lower than that in CG after 3,6,9 and 12 days of treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the Karnofsky score before treatment and after 12 days of treatment between CG and TG.There were also no significant differences in the main adverse reactions or skin side effects after 6 and 12 days of treatment between CG andTG(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:The Dingqi analgesic patch can enhance the analgesic effect of tramadol and fentanyl.Changjun Wang Wei Tan Xuhui Huang Tingting Fu Juze Lin Junmin Bu Guojian Wei Yu Du 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2:9
11Adaptive output feedback control for nonlinear time-delay systems using neural network显示文摘This paper extends the adaptive neural network (NN) control approaches to a class of unknown output feedback nonlinear time-delay systems. An adaptive output feedback NN tracking controller is designed by backstep- ping technique. NNs are used to approximate unknown functions dependent on time delay. Delay-dependent filters are introduced for state estimation. The domination method is used to deal with the smooth time-delay basis functions. The adaptive bounding technique is employed to estimate the upper bound of the NN approximation errors. Based on Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional, the semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system is proved. 12Exploitable wave energy assessment based on ERA-Interim reanalysis data—A case study in the East China Sea and the South China Sea显示文摘Wave energy resources assessment is a very important process before the exploitation and utilization of the wave energy. At present, the existing wave energy assessment is focused on theoretical wave energy conditions for interesting areas. While the evaluation for exploitable wave energy conditions is scarcely ever performed.Generally speaking, the wave energy are non-exploitable under a high sea state and a lower sea state which must be ignored when assessing wave energy. Aiming at this situation, a case study of the East China Sea and the South China Sea is performed. First, a division basis between the theoretical wave energy and the exploitable wave energy is studied. Next, based on recent 20 a ERA-Interim wave field data, some indexes including the spatial and temporal distribution of wave power density, a wave energy exploitable ratio, a wave energy level, a wave energy stability, a total wave energy density, the seasonal variation of the total wave energy and a high sea condition frequency are calculated. And then the theoretical wave energy and the exploitable wave energy are compared each other; the distributions of the exploitable wave energy are assessed and a regional division for exploitable wave energy resources is carried out; the influence of the high sea state is evaluated. The results show that considering collapsing force of the high sea state and the utilization efficiency for wave energy, it is determined that the energy by wave with a significant wave height being not less 1 m or not greater than 4 m is the exploitable wave energy. Compared with the theoretical wave energy, the average wave power density, energy level, total wave energy density and total wave energy of the exploitable wave energy decrease obviously and the stability enhances somewhat. Pronounced differences between the theoretical wave energy and the exploitable wave energy are present. In the East China Sea and the South China Sea, the areas of an abundant and stable exploitable wave energy are primarily located in the north-central part of the South China Sea, the Luzon Strait,east of Taiwan, China and north of Ryukyu Islands; annual average exploitable wave power density values in these areas are approximately 10–15 k W/m; the exploitable coefficient of variation(COV) and seasonal variation(SV)values in these areas are less than 1.2 and 1, respectively. Some coastal areas of the Beibu Gulf, the Changjiang Estuary, the Hangzhou Bay and the Zhujiang Estuary are the poor areas of the wave energy. The areas of the high wave energy exploitable ratio is primarily in nearshore waters. The influence of the high sea state for the wave energy in nearshore waters is less than that in offshore waters. In the areas of the abundant wave energy, the influence of the high sea state for the wave energy is prominent and the utilization of wave energy is relatively difficult. 15Point association analysis of vessel target detection with SAR, HFSWR and AIS显示文摘A space-borne synthetic aperture radar(SAR), a high frequency surface wave radar(HFSWR), and a ship automatic identification system(AIS) are the main remote sensors for vessel monitoring in a wide range. These three sensors have their own advantages and weaknesses, and they can complement each other in some situations. So it would improve the capability of vessel target detection to use multiple sensors including SAR, HFSWR, and AIS to identify non-cooperative vessel targets from the fusion results. During the fusion process of multiple sensors' detection results, point association is one of the key steps, and it can affect the accuracy of the data fusion and the efficiency of a non-cooperative target's recognition. This study investigated the point association analyses of vessel target detection under different conditions: spaceborne SAR paired with AIS, as well as HFSWR, paired with AIS, and the characteristics of the SAR and the HFSWR and their capability of vessel target detection. Then a point association method of multiple sensors was proposed. 17Study on the amplitude inversion of internal waves at Wenchang area of the South China Sea显示文摘The field experiment is conducted from April 16,2005 to July 20,2005 at Wenchang area east of Hainan Island(19°35'N,112°E) of China.Internal wave packets are observed frequently with thermistor chains during the experiment.Meanwhile,internal waves are also detected from a synthetic aperture radar(SAR) image on June 19,2005 and several other moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer(MODIS) images near a mooring position.The distance between the positive and negative peaks induced by the internal wave can be obtained from satellite images.Combined with remote sensing images and in situ data,a new method to inverse the amplitude of the internal wave is proposed based on a corrected nonlinear Schr?dinger(NLS) equation.Two relationships are given between the peak-to-peak distance and the characteristic wavelength of the internal wave for different nonlinear and dispersion coefficients.Based on the satellite images,the amplitude inversion of the internal waves are carried out with the NLS equation as well as the Kd V equation.The calculated amplitudes of the NLS equation are close to the observation amplitude which promise the NLS equation a reliable method.ZHANG Xudong WANG Jing SUN Lina MENG Junmin 2016Acta Oceanologica Sinica2016,35,7:8
18Switchable dual-wavelength Q-switched fiber laser using multilayer black phosphorus as a saturable absorber显示文摘Black phosphorus(BP), with thickness-dependent direct energy bandgaps(0.3–2 eV), shows an enhanced nonlinear optical response at near-and mid-infrared wavelengths. In this paper, we present experimentally multilayer BP flakes coated on microfiber(BCM) as a saturable absorber with a modulation depth of 16% and a saturable intensity of 6.8 MW∕cm^2. After inserting BCM into an Er-doped fiber ring laser, a stable dual-wavelength Q-switched state with central wavelengths of 1542.4 nm and 1543.2 nm(with wavelength spacing as small as 0.8 nm) is obtained with the aid of two cascaded fiber Bragg gratings as a coarse wavelength selector.Moreover, single-wavelength Q-switched operation at 1542.4 nm or 1543.2 nm is also realized, which can be switched between the two wavelengths flexibly just by adjusting the intracavity birefringence. These results suggest that BP combined with the cascaded fiber gratings can provide a simple and feasible candidate for a multiwavelength fiber laser. 19Separation of CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4/N_2 mixtures using MOF-5 and Cu_3(BTC)_2显示文摘In this paper we used MOF-5 and Cu3(BTC)2to separate CO2/CH4 and CH4/N2 mixtures under dynamic conditions. Both materials were synthesized and pelletized, thus allowing for a meaningful characterization in view of process scale-up. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). By performing breakthrough experiments, we found that Cu3(BTC)2separated CO2/CH4 slightly better than MOF-5. Because the crystal structure of Cu3(BTC)2includes unsaturated accessible metal sites formed via dehydration, it predominantly interacted with CO2 molecules and more easily captured them.
