The antitumor effect of tanshinone IIA on antiproliferation and decreasing VEGF/VEGFR2 expression on the human non-small cell lung cancer A549 cell line显示文摘The effects of tanshinone IIA on the proliferation of the human non-small cell lung cancer cell line A549 and its possible mechanism on the VEGF/VEGFR signal pathway were investigated. The exploration of the interaction between tanshinone IIA and its target proteins provides a feasible platform for studying the anticancer mechanism of active components of herbs. The CCK-8 assay was used to evaluate the proliferative activity of A549 cells treated with tanshinone IIA(2.5 80 μmol/L) for 24,48 and 72 h,respectively.Flow cytometry was used for the detection of cell apoptosis and cell cycle perturbation.VEGF and VEGFR2 expression were studied by Western blotting. The binding mode of tanshinone IIA within thecrystal structure of the VEGFR2 protein was evaluated with molecular docking analysis by use of the CDOCKER algorithm in Discovery Studio 2.1.The CCK-8 results showed that tanshinone IIA can significantly inhibit A549 cell proliferation in a dose-and time-dependent manner.Flow cytometry results showed that the apoptosis rate of tested group was higher than the vehicle control, and tanshinone IIAtreated cells accumulated at the S phase, which was higher than the vehicle control.Furthermore, the expression of VEGF and VEGFR2 was decreased in Western blot. Finally, molecular docking analysis revealed that tanshinone IIA could be stably docked into the kinase domain of VEGFR2 protein with its unique modes to form H-bonds with Cys917 and π–π stacking interactions with Val848.In conclusion, tanshinone IIA may suppress A549 proliferation, induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at the S phase. This drug may suppress angiogenesis by targeting the protein kinase domains of VEGF/VEGFR2.Jun Xie Jiahui Liu Heng Liu Shihui Liang Meigui Lin Yueyu Gu Taoli Liu Dongmei Wang Hui Gee Sui-lin Mo 2015Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2015,5,6:26
Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure, which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians, medical residents, nurses, technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis. Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems. Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians, medical residents, nurses, technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety, insomnia and overall psychological problems. In addition, attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic, receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work, and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems. Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems. The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback.Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,3:8

Solvent-free nanocasting toward universal synthesis of ordered mesoporous transition metal sulfide@N-doped carbon composites for electrochemical applications显示文摘Transition metal sulfides (TMSs) have a wide range of applications owing to their intriguing properties.Significant efforts have been devoted to nanostructuring TMSs to enhance their properties and performance, still there is a high need in general synthesis of TMS nanostructures.Herein, for the first time,a simple solvent free reactive nanocasting approach that integrates solid precursor loading,in-situ sulfuration and carbonization into a single heating step is developed for the universal synthesis of ordered mesoporous TMS@N-doped carbon composites (denoted as OM-TMS@NCs) with methionine (Met) and metal chlorides as the precursors and the mesoporous silica (SBA-15) as the hard template.A series of OM-TMS@NCs with a hexagonal mesostructure,ultra-high surface areas (430-754 m2·g-1),large pore volumes (0.85-1.32 cm3·g-1),and unique TMS stoichiometries, including MoS2,Fe7S8,Co9S8,NiS,Cu7S4 and ZnS,are obtained. Two distinct structure configurations, namely, highly dispersed ultrathin TMS nanosheets within NCs and TMS@NC co-nanowire arrays, can be obtained depending on different metals. The structure evolution of the OM-TMS@NCs over the solvent-free nanocasting process is studied in detail for a deep understanding of the synthesis. As demonstrations, these materials are promising for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction and lithium ion storage with high performances.Jiahui Zhu Zhi Chen Lin Jia Yuqi Lu Xiangru Wei Xiaoning Wang Winston Duo Wu Na Han Yanguang Li Zhangxiong Wu 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:5
National-scale data-driven rainfall induced landslide susceptibility mapping for China by accounting for incomplete landslide data显示文摘China is one of the countries where landslides caused the most fatalities in the last decades. The threat that landslide disasters pose to people might even be greater in the future, due to climate change and the increasing urbanization of mountainous areas. A reliable national-scale rainfall induced landslide susceptibility model is therefore of great relevance in order to identify regions more and less prone to landsliding as well as to develop suitable risk mitigating strategies. However, relying on imperfect landslide data is inevitable when modelling landslide susceptibility for such a large research area. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of incomplete landslide data on national scale statistical landslide susceptibility modeling for China. In this context, it is aimed to explore the benefit of mixed effects modelling to counterbalance associated bias propagations. Six influencing factors including lithology, slope, soil moisture index, mean annual precipitation, land use and geological environment regions were selected based on an initial exploratory data analysis. Three sets of influencing variables were designed to represent different solutions to deal with spatially incomplete landslide information: Set 1(disregards the presence of incomplete landslide information), Set 2(excludes factors related to the incompleteness of landslide data), Set 3(accounts for factors related to the incompleteness via random effects). The variable sets were then introduced in a generalized additive model(GAM: Set 1 and Set 2) and a generalized additive mixed effect model(GAMM: Set 3) to establish three national-scale statistical landslide susceptibility models: models 1, 2 and 3. The models were evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristics curve(AUROC) given by spatially explicit and non-spatial cross-validation. The spatial prediction pattern produced by the models were also investigated. The results show that the landslide inventory incompleteness had a substantial impact on the outcomes of the statistical landslide susceptibility models. The cross-validation results provided evidence that the three established models performed well to predict model-independent landslide information with median AUROCs ranging from 0.8 to 0.9.However, although Model 1 reached the highest AUROCs within non-spatial cross-validation(median of 0.9), it was not associated with the most plausible representation of landslide susceptibility. The Model 1 modelling results were inconsistent with geomorphological process knowledge and reflected a large extent the underlying data bias. The Model 2 susceptibility maps provided a less biased picture of landslide susceptibility. However, a lower predicted likelihood of landslide occurrence still existed in areas known to be underrepresented in terms of landslide data(e.g., the Kuenlun Mountains in the northern Tibetan Plateau). The non-linear mixed-effects model(Model 3) reduced the impact of these biases best by introducing bias-describing variables as random effects. Among the three models, Model 3 was selected as the best national-scale susceptibility model for China as it produced the most plausible portray of rainfall induced landslide susceptibility and the highest spatially explicit predictive performance(median AUROC of spatial cross validation 0.84) compared to the other two models(median AUROCs of 0.81 and 0.79, respectively). We conclude that ignoring landslide inventory-based incompleteness can entail misleading modelling results and that the application of non-linear mixed-effect models can reduce the propagation of such biases into the final results for very large areas.Qigen Lin Pedro Lima Stefan Steger Thomas Glade Tong Jiang Jiahui Zhang Tianxue Liu Ying Wang 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,6:4
Plant multiscale networks:charting plant connectivity by multi-level analysis and imaging techniques显示文摘In multicellular and even single-celled organisms, individual components are interconnected at multiscale levels to produce enormously complex biological networks that help these systems maintain homeostasis for development and environmental adaptation.Systems biology studies initially adopted network analysis to explore how relationships between individual components give rise to complex biological processes.Network analysis has been applied to dissect the complex connectivity of mammalian brains across different scales in time and space in The Human Brain Project. In plant science, network analysis has similarly been applied to study the connectivity of plant components at the molecular, subcellular, cellular, organic, and organism levels.Analysis of these multiscale networks contributes to our understanding of how genotype determines phenotype. In this review,we summarized the theoretical framework of plant multiscale networks and introduced studies investigating plant networks by various experimental and computational modalities. We next discussed the currently available analytic methodologies and multi-level imaging techniques used to map multiscale networks in plants. Finally,we highlighted some of the technical challenges and key questions remaining to be addressed in this emerging field.Xi Zhang Yi Man Xiaohong Zhuang Jinbo Shen Yi Zhang Yaning Cui Meng Yu Jingjing Xing Guangchao Wang Na Lian Zijian Hu Lingyu Ma Weiwei Shen Shunyao Yang Huimin Xu Jiahui Bian Yanping Jing Xiaojuan Li Ruili Li Tonglin Mao Yuling Jiao Sodmergen Haiyun Ren Jinxing Lin 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,9:3
Effects of Exogenous 5-Aminolevulinic Acid and 24-Epibrassinolide on Cd Accumulation in Rice from Cd-Contaminated Soil显示文摘High grain-Cd-accumulating rice variety Yongyou 9 was planted in Cd-contaminated farmland in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China to study the effects of 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA) and24-epibrassinolide(EBR) on Cd accumulation in brown rice. Results showed that the exogenous ALA and EBR had no significant effects on agronomic traits, soil pH and total Cd content in soil, but had some effects on the available Cd content in soil, and significantly influenced the Cd accumulation in the different parts of rice. Results also showed that 100 mg/L exogenous ALA significantly reduced the Cd accumulation in brown rice to blow the food safety standard(0.2 mg/kg), and also significantly reduced the Cd contents in the roots and culm of rice. However, 200 mg/L exogenous ALA treatment increased the Cd content in brown rice remarkably. In addition, 0.15 mg/L EBR treatment increased Cd accumulation in roots, culm, leaves and brown rice notably, whereas 0.30 mg/L exogenous EBR treatment reduced the Cd accumulation in brown rice properly, but it was not significant. Therefore, proper concentration of ALA can effectively reduce the Cd accumulation in brown rice, which can be used as an effective technical method for the safe production of rice in Cd polluted farmland.WANG Feijuan ZHANG Yiting GUO Qinxin TAN Haifeng HAN Jiahui LIN Haoran WEI Hewen XU Guangwei ZHU Cheng 2018Rice science2018,25,6:3

A novel hybrid CDL-based multipath propagation model for the high-speed railway at 2.35 GHz显示文摘In this study, based on the actual channel measurements of the high-speed railway(HSR) in a viaduct scenario at 2.35 GHz,a hybrid cluster delay line(CDL) channel modeling technology which combines a statistical model and a theoretical model is proposed. This novel channel-characterization approach is used to reveal the statistical properties for ‘‘random'' scattering and to provide a geometric mechanism for computing the timevariant paths for ‘‘periodically moving'' scattering.Using a modified clustering algorithm in the delay domain, the inter-cluster and intra-cluster characteristics against the distance between the transmitter and the receiver were extracted and analyzed. In addition, the measurement results were compared with some conclusions from other measurement studies, and the proposed channel model was validated by comparing the simulated results with the measurement data. The study results provide a useful technique for the evaluation and verification of wireless communications in the HSR environment.Jiahui Qiu Cheng Tao Liu Liu Zihuai Lin Zhenhui Tan 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,35:2
Relationship between corneal biomechanical parameters and corneal sublayer thickness measured by Corvis ST and UHR-OCT in keratoconus and normal eyes显示文摘Background:To explore the relationship between corneal biomechanical parameters and corneal sublayer thickness using corneal visualization Scheimpflug technology(Corvis ST)and ultrahigh-resolution optical coherence tomography(UHR-OCT)in clinical and suspected keratoconus and normal eyes.Methods:Cross-sectional prospective study.A total of 94 eyes of 70 participants were recruited.Twenty five eyes of 19 keratoconus patients,52 eyes of 34 patients showing high risk of developing keratoconus according to the Belin/Ambrosio Enhanced Ectasia Display, and each eye of 17 normal subjects were enrolled. All participants underwent Corvis ST,Pentacam, and UHR-OCT examinations at the same time.Stiffness parameter A1(SP-A1),deformation amplitude ratio(DA ratio),and other biomechanical parameters were recorded using Corvis ST.The vertical and horizontal thickness profiles of central 3mm corneal epithelium,Bowman’s layer, and stroma as measured by the perpendicular distance between the neighboring interfaces were generated using UHR-OCT.The flat keratometry and steep keratometry were obtained using Pentacam.Analysis of correlation was applied to explore the association between variables. Results:Most of the biomechanical parameters and corneal sublayer thickness profiles showed statistical differences among three groups.A statistically significant linear relationship was noted between SP-A1 and DA ratio in all three groups.SP-A1 was found to be positively correlated with epithelial and Bowman’s layer thickness in the keratoconus(KC)group, and with stromal thickness in all three groups. In the normal and suspected keratoconus(SKC)groups, only stromal thickness was included in the stepwise linear regression to predict SP-A1,whereas in the KC group, steep keratometry and Bowman’s layer thickness were included. Conclusions:Significant and different correlations were noted between corneal stiffness and corneal sublayer thickness in different groups, indicating that corneal sublayers may play different roles in maintaining corneal biomechanical stability between keratoconus and normal eyes.Yong Li Zhiqiang Xu Qiaoli Liu Yuzhou Wang Kan Lin Jiahui Xia Shihao Chen Liang Hu 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:2
Measurements and Characterization for the Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Channel in Urban and Highway Scenarios at 5.92GHz显示文摘In the future smart transportation system, reliable vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2 I) communication is very important to ensure vehicle driving safety and to improve vehicle driving efficiency. In this paper, V2 I channel measurements at 5.92 GHz are conducted in typical urban and highway scenarios. The frequency and bandwidth of transmission, as well as the deployment of the RSU(roadside unit) and the OBU(on board unit), are selected by considering the recommendation proposed by 3 GPP TR 36.885. Then, based on the measured data, the key channel characteristic parameters of the V2 I channel are extracted, including path loss, root-mean-square delay spread, stationarity distance, and Doppler spread, etc. Also, the statistical characteristics of the parameters, including time-varying and Doppler characteristics, are investigated and characterized. The work in this paper helps researchers design technology and communication systems in similar scenarios.Yuanyuan Fan Yi Feng Liu Liu Shuoshuo Dong Zhaoyang Su Jiahui Qiu Xiaobo Lin 2022China Communications2022,19,4:2
Structural isomer and high-yield of Pt1Ag28 nanoduster via one-pot chemical wet method显示文摘In order to understand the structure-property correlation and explore the application of metal nanoclusters, it is important and intriguing to determine their crystal structure and obtain high-yield. At the same time, this is also a challenge in nanoscience and technology. Here, we report the highly efficient synthesis of Pt1Ag28 nanocluster via one-pot chemical wet method. The crystal structure of Pt1Ag28 nanocluster was determined by X-ray crystallography to be a face centered cubic (FCC) kernel. This novel structure is the structural isomerization of Pt1Ag28 nanocluster reported before. This phenomenon is first discovered in the synthesis of alloy nanoclusters. In addition, Pt1Ag28 nanocluster has high yield and exhibits potential optics in the near infrared (NIR) fluorescent imaging. The time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculation implied that the optical property of Pt1Ag28 was sensitive to its structure. This work provides a simple method to synthesize alloy nanoclusters with structural isomerization.Xinzhang Lin Chao Liu Keju Sun Ren'an Wu Xuemei Fu Jiahui Huang 2019Nano Research2019,12,2:1

Orally administered BZL-s RNA-20 oligonucleotide targeting TLR4 effectively ameliorates acute lung injury in mice显示文摘The global COVID-19 pandemic emerged at the end of December 2019.Acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)and acute lung injury(ALI)are common lethal outcomes of bacterial lipopolysaccharide(LPS),avian influenza virus, and SARS-Co V-2.Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)is a key target in the pathological pathway of ARDS and ALI.Previous studies have reported that herbal small RNAs(s RNAs)are a functional medical component.BZL-s RNA-20(Accession number:B59471456;Family ID:F2201.Q001979.B11)is a potent inhibitor of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)and pro-inflammatory cytokines.Furthermore,BZLs RNA-20 reduces intracellular levels of cytokines induced by lipoteichoic acid(LTA)and polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid(poly(I:C)).We found that BZL-s RNA-20 rescued the viability of cells infected with avian influenza H5N1,SARS-Co V-2,and several of its variants of concern(VOCs).Acute lung injury induced by LPS and SARS-Co V-2 in mice was significantly ameliorated by the oral medical decoctosome mimic(bencaosome;sphinganine(d22:0)+BZL-s RNA-20).Our findings suggest that BZLs RNA-20 could be a pan-anti-ARDS/ALI drug.Dandan Zhao Yuhao Qin Jiaqi Liu Kegong Tang Shuaiyao Lu Zirui Liu Yexuan Lin Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Jiahui Chang Chang Li Mingyao Tian Yiming Ma Xiaoyun Li Congzhao Zhou Xiao Li Xiaozhong Peng Ningyi Jin Chengyu Jiang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,7:1

Large-area flexible and transparent UV photodetector based on cross-linked Ag NW@ZnO NRs with high performance显示文摘A series of large-area,flexible and transparent ultraviolet(UV)photodetectors(PDs)based on Ag nanowire(NW)@ZnO nanorods(NRs)are fabricated by an inexpensive, facile and effective approach. These Ag NW@ZnO NRs are successfully synthesized using a two-step method in an oil bath with a high surface-to-volume ratio and good crystallinity. The PDs are fabricated by drop-coating with different drop-coating times on the surface of polyethylene terephthalate(PET)coupled with Au electrodes.By optimizing the cross-linked network of Ag NW@ZnO NRs,PD2 with a size greater than 25 mm exhibits excellent photoresponse under UV light illumination of 365 nm(1.3 m W cm^(-2))with a bias of 5 V:a high sensitivity of over 10^(3),and a much shorter rise/decay time of 2.6 s/2.3 s.Simultaneously, the detector exhibits an average transmittance of more than 70%in the visible light region,as well as good flexibility and excellent mechanical stability under a bending angle of 120°over 1000 circles bending. These integral advantages have significant potential for practical applications and mass production.Lin Zhang Nuomei Li Qiuchen Ma Jiahui Ding Chuang Chen Zhaocheng Hu Weiwei Zhao Yufeng Li Huanhuan Feng Mingyu Li Hongjun Ji 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15:1
VAV2 is required for DNA repair and implicated in cancer radiotherapy resistance显示文摘Radiotherapy remains the mainstay for treatment of various types of human cancer;however, the clinical efficacy is often limited by radioresistance,in which the underlying mechanism is largely unknown. Here, using esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)as a model,we demonstrate that guanine nucleotide exchange factor 2(VAV2),which is overexpressed in most human cancers, plays an important role in primary and secondary radioresistance. We have discovered for the first time that VAV2 is required for the Ku70/Ku80 complex formation and participates in non-homologous end joining repair of DNA damages caused by ionizing radiation.Weiling Liu Chuanwang Miao Shaosen Zhang Yachen Liu Xiangjie Niu Yiyi Xi Wenjia Guo Jiahui Chu Ai Lin Hongjin Liu Xinyu Yang Xinjie Chen Ce Zhong Yuling Ma Yuqian Wang Shihao Zhu Shuning Liu Wen Tan Dongxin Lin Chen Wu 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,9:1

Te-mediated electro-driven oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘In the 21^(st)century,the rapid development of human society has made people’s demand for green energy more and more urgent. The high-energy-density hydrogen energy obtained by fully splitting water is not only environmentally friendly, but also is expected to solve the problems caused by the intermittent nature of new energy. However, the slow kinetics and large overpotential of the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)limit its application. The introduction of Te element is expected to bring new breakthroughs. With the least electronegativity among the chalcogens, the Te element has many special properties, such as multivalent states, strong covalentity, and high electrical conductivity, which make it a promising candidate in electrocatalytic OER.In this review,we introduce the peculiarities of Te element, summarize Te doping and the extraordinary performance of its compounds in OER,with emphasis on the scientific mechanism behind Te element promoting the OER kinetic process. Finally, challenges and development prospects of the applications of Te element in OER are presented.Feng Gao Jiaqing He Haowei Wang Jiahui Lin Ruixin Chen Kai Yi Feng Huang Zhang Lin Mengye Wang 2022Nano Research Energy2022,1,3:1
