1Paleoproterozoic crustal evolution of the Hengshan-Wutai—Fuping region,North China Craton显示文摘An arguable point regarding the Neoarchean and Paleoproterozoic crustal evolution of the North China Craton(NCC)is whether the tectonic setting in the central belt during the mid-Paleoproterozoic(2.35-2.0 Ga)was dominated by an extensional regime or an oceanic subduction-arc regime.A review of the midPaleoproterozoic magmatism and sedimentation for the Hengshan-Wutai-Fuping region suggests that a back-arc extension regime was dominant in this region.This conclusion is consistent with the observation that the 2.35-2.0 Ga magmatism shows a typical bimodal distribution where the mafic rocks mostly have arc affinities and the acidic rocks mainly comprise highly-fractioned calc-alkaline to alkaline(or A-type)granites,and that this magmatism was coeval with development of extensional basins characteristic of transgressive sequences with volcanic interlayers such as in the Hutuo Group.Although the final amalgamation of the NCC was believed to occur at ~1.85 Ga,recent zircon U-Pb age dating for mica schist in the Wutai Group suggests a collisional event may have occurred at ~1.95 Ga.The metamorphic ages of ~1.85 Ga,obtained mostly from the high-grade rocks using the zircon U-Pb approach,most probably indicate uplifting and cooling of these high-grade terranes.This is because(i)phase modeling suggests that newly-grown zircon grains in highgrade rocks with a melt phase cannot date the age of peak pressure and temperature stages,but the age of melt crystallization in cooling stages;(ii)the metamorphic P-T paths with isobaric cooling under 6-7 kb for the Hengshan and Fuping granulites suggest their prolonged stay in the middle-lower crust;and(iii)the obtained metamorphic age data show a continuous distribution from 1.95 to 1.80 Ga.Thus,an alternative tectonic scenario for the Hengshan-Wutai-Fuping region involves:(i)formation of a proto-NCC at ~2.5 Ga;(ii)back-arc extension during 2.35-2.0 Ga resulting in bimodal magmatism and sedimentation in rifting basins on an Archean basement;(iii)a crustal thickening event in the extended region resulting in a kyanitetype metamorphism at ~1.95 Ga,and(iv) uplifting and cooling of the thickened crust from 1.93 to 1.80 Ga.Chunjing Wei Jiahui Qian Xiwen Zhou 2014Geoscience Frontiers2014,5,4:32
2Herbal decoctosome is a novel form of medicine显示文摘Traditionally, herbal medicine is consumed by drinking decoctions produced by boiling herbs with water. The functional components of the decoction are heat stable. Small RNAs(sRNAs) were reported as a new class of functional components in decoctions. However, the mechanisms by which sRNAs survive heat treatment of the decoction and enter cells are unclear.Previous studies showed that plant-derived exosome-like nanoparticles(ELNs), which we call botanosomes, could deliver therapeutic reagents in vivo. Here, we report that heat-stable decoctosomes(ELNs) from decoctions have more therapeutic effects than the decoctions in vitro and demonstrate therapeutic efficacy in vivo. Furthermore, sRNAs, such as HJT-sRNA-m7 and PGY-sRNA-6, in the decoctosome exhibit potent anti-fibrosis and anti-inflammatory effects, respectively. Decoctosome is comprised of lipids, chemical compounds, proteins, and s RNAs. A medical decoctosome mimic is called bencaosome. A single lipid sphinganine(d22:0) identified in the decoctosome was mixed and heated with the synthesized sRNAs to form the simplest bencaosome. This simple bencaosome structure was identified by critical micelle concentration(cmc) assay that sRNAs coassembled with sphinganine(d22:0) to form the lipid layers of vesicles. The heating process facilitates co-assembly of sRNAs and sphinganine(d22:0) until a steady state is reached. The artificially produced sphinganine-HJT-sRNA-m7 and sphinganinePGY-sRNA-6 bencaosomes could ameliorate bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis and poly(I:C)-induced lung inflammation, respectively, following oral administration in mice. 3The antitumor effect of tanshinone IIA on antiproliferation and decreasing VEGF/VEGFR2 expression on the human non-small cell lung cancer A549 cell line显示文摘The effects of tanshinone IIA on the proliferation of the human non-small cell lung cancer cell line A549 and its possible mechanism on the VEGF/VEGFR signal pathway were investigated.The exploration of the interaction between tanshinone IIA and its target proteins provides a feasible platform for studying the anticancer mechanism of active components of herbs.The CCK-8 assay was used to evaluate the proliferative activity of A549 cells treated with tanshinone IIA(2.5 80 μmol/L) for 24,48 and 72 h,respectively.Flow cytometry was used for the detection of cell apoptosis and cell cycle perturbation.VEGF and VEGFR2 expression were studied by Western blotting.The binding mode of tanshinone IIA within thecrystal structure of the VEGFR2 protein was evaluated with molecular docking analysis by use of the CDOCKER algorithm in Discovery Studio 2.1.The CCK-8 results showed that tanshinone IIA can significantly inhibit A549 cell proliferation in a dose-and time-dependent manner.Flow cytometry results showed that the apoptosis rate of tested group was higher than the vehicle control,and tanshinone IIAtreated cells accumulated at the S phase,which was higher than the vehicle control.Furthermore,the expression of VEGF and VEGFR2 was decreased in Western blot.Finally,molecular docking analysis revealed that tanshinone IIA could be stably docked into the kinase domain of VEGFR2 protein with its unique modes to form H-bonds with Cys917 and π–π stacking interactions with Val848.In conclusion,tanshinone IIA may suppress A549 proliferation,induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at the S phase.This drug may suppress angiogenesis by targeting the protein kinase domains of VEGF/VEGFR2.Jun Xie Jiahui Liu Heng Liu Shihui Liang Meigui Lin Yueyu Gu Taoli Liu Dongmei Wang Hui Gee Sui-lin Mo 2015Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2015,5,6:26
4Plant-derived phosphocholine facilitates cellular uptake of anti-pulmonary fibrotic HJT-sRNA-m7显示文摘Pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive chronic disease with a high mortality rate, has limited treatment options. Currently, lung transplantation remains the only effective treatment. Here we report that a small RNA, HJT-sRNA-m7, from a Chinese herbal medicine Hong Jing Tian(HJT, RHODIOHAE CRENULATAE RADIX ET RHIZOMA, Rhodiola crenulata) can effectively reduce the expressions of fibrotic hallmark genes and proteins both in alveolar in vitro and in mouse lung tissues in vivo. We also discovered over one hundred oil-soluble chemicals from HJT decoctions, most of which are found in lipid extracts from other Chinese herbals decoctions, including Pu Gong Ying(PGY, TARAXACI HERBA, Taraxacum mongolicum), Chuan Xin Lian(CXL, changed to 'ANDROGRAPHIS HERBA, Andrographis paniculata'), and Jin Yin Hua(JYH, lonicera japonica or Honeysuckle). We identified the active component in these decoctions as two forms of phosphocholines, PC(18:0/18:2) and PC(16:0/18:2). These PCs potentially could form liposomes with small RNAs to enter human alveolar and gastric cells. 5The PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β/ROS/eIF2B pathway promotes breast cancer growth and metastasis via suppression of NK cell cytotoxicity and tumor cell susceptibility显示文摘Objective: To examine the effect of pSer9-GSK-3β on breast cancer and to determine whether the underlying metabolic and immunological mechanism is associated with ROS/eIF2B and natural killer(NK) cells.Methods: We employed TWS119 to inactivate GSK-3β by phosphorylating Ser9 and explored its effect on breast cancer and NK cells. The expression of GSK-3β, natural killer group 2 member D(NKG2D) ligands, eIF2B was quantified by PCR and Western blot. We measured intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS) and mitochondrial ROS using DCFH-DA and MitoSOX^(TM) probe,respectively, and conducted quantitative analysis of cellular respiration on 4T1 cells with mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅰ/Ⅲ kits.Results: Our investigation revealed that TWS119 downregulated NKG2D ligands(H60 a and Rae1), suppressed the cytotoxicity of NK cells, and promoted the migration of 4T1 murine breast cancer cells. Nevertheless, LY290042, which attenuates p-GSK-3β formation by inhibiting the PI3K/Akt pathway, reversed these effects. We also found that higher expression of p Ser9-GSK-3β induced higher levels of ROS, and observed that abnormality of mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅰ/Ⅲ function induced the dysfunction of GSK-3β-induced electron transport chain, naturally disturbing the ROS level. In addition, the expression of NOX3 and NOX4 was significantly up-regulated, which affected the generation of ROS and associated with the metastasis of breast cancer. Furthermore, we found that the expression of pSer535-eIF2B promoted the expression of NKG2D ligands(Mult-1 and Rae1) following by expression of pSer9-GSK-3β and generation of ROS.Conclusions: The PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β/ROS/eIF2B pathway could regulate NK cell activity and sensitivity of tumor cells to NK cells,which resulted in breast cancer growth and lung metastasis. 6Phylogeny and Classifcation of Prunus sensu lato (Rosaceae)显示文摘The classifcation of the economically important genus Prunus L.sensu lato(s.l.)is controversial due to the high levels of convergent or the parallel evolution of morphological characters.In the present study,phylogenetic analyses of ffteen main segregates of Prunus s.l.represented by eighty-four species were conducted with maximum parsimony and Bayesian approaches using twelve chloroplast regions(atpB-rbcL,matK,ndhF,psbA-trnH,rbcL,rpL16,rpoC1,rps16,trnS-G,trnL,trnL-F and ycf1)and three nuclear genes(ITS,s6pdh and SbeI)to explore their infrageneric relationships.The results of these analyses were used to develop a new,phylogeny-based classifcation of Prunus s.l.Our phylogenetic reconstructions resolved three main clades of Prunus s.l.with strong supports.We adopted a broad-sensed genus,Prunus,and recognised three subgenera corresponding to the three main clades:subgenus Padus,subgenus Cerasus and subgenus Prunus.Seven sections of subgenus Prunus were recognised.The dwarf cherries,which were previously assigned to subgenus Cerasus,were included in this subgenus Prunus.One new section name,Prunus L.subgenus Prunus section Persicae(T.T.Yü&L.T.Lu)S.L.Zhou and one new species name,Prunus tianshanica(Pojarkov)S.Shi,were proposed.Shuo Shi Jinlu Li Jiahui Sun Jing Yu Shiliang Zhou 2013Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2013,55,11:18
7Intestinal Microbiota in Early Life and Its Implications on Childhood Health显示文摘Trillions of microbes reside in the human body and participate in multiple physiological and pathophysiological processes that affect host health throughout the life cycle. The microbiome is hallmarked by distinctive compositional and functional features across different life periods.Accumulating evidence has shown that microbes residing in the human body may play fundamental roles in infant development and the maturation of the immune system. Gut microbes are thought to be essential for the facilitation of infantile and childhood development and immunity by assisting in breaking down food substances to liberate nutrients, protecting against pathogens, stimulating or modulating the immune system, and exerting control over the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis.This review aims to summarize the current understanding of the colonization and development of the gut microbiota in early life, highlighting the recent findings regarding the role of intestinal microbes in pediatric diseases. 8Microfluidic Generation of Microsprings with Ionic Liquid Encapsulation for Flexible Electronics显示文摘Inspired by helical or spiral veins,which endow plants with excellent fexibility and elasticity to withstand storms,we present novel hollow microsprings with ionic liquid encapsulation for fexible and stretchable electronics.Te microsprings were generated by using a coaxial capillary microfuidic device to consecutively spin poly(vinylidene fuoride)(PVDF)presolution and an ionic liquid,which formed laminar fows in the coaxial injection microfuidic channels.Te fast phase inversion of PVDF helps to form the core-shell structure of a microfber and guarantees the in situ encapsulation of ionic liquid.Te hybrid microfber can then spiral and be further solidifed to maintain the helical structure with increasing fow rates of the injection fuids.Because of the feasible and precise control of the injection fuids during the microfuidic spinning,the resultant microsprings have controlled core-shell structures,helical pitches,and corresponding electromechanical properties.By further embedding them into stretchable flms,the simple paradigm of a fexible device shows great conductive performance in tensile tests and even motion cycles,which could be explored as a promising candidate in stretchable sensors,fexible electronics,and electronic skins.Yunru Yu Jiahui Guo Lingyu Sun Xiaoxuan Zhang Yuanjin Zhao 2019Research2019,,1:14
9Increasing yield potential through manipulating of an ARE1 ortholog related to nitrogen use efficiency in wheat by CRISPR/Cas9显示文摘Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)is a staple food crop consumed by more than 30%of world population.Nitrogen(N)fertilizer has been applied broadly in agriculture practice to improve wheat yield to meet the growing demands for food production.However,undue N fertilizer application and the low N use efficiency(NUE)of modern wheat varieties are aggravating environmental pollution and ecological deterioration.Under nitrogen-limiting conditions,the rice(Oryza sativa)abnormal cytokinin response1 repressor1(are1)mutant exhibits increased NUE,delayed senescence and consequently,increased grain yield.However,the function of ARE1 ortholog in wheat remains unknown.Here,we isolated and characterized three TaARE1 homoeologs from the elite Chinese winter wheat cultivar ZhengMai 7698.We then used CRISPR/Cas9-mediated targeted mutagenesis to generate a series of transgene-free mutant lines either with partial or triple-null taare1 alleles.All transgene-free mutant lines showed enhanced tolerance to N starvation,and showed delayed senescence and increased grain yield in field conditions.In particular,the AABBdd and aabbDD mutant lines exhibited delayed senescence and significantly increased grain yield without growth defects compared to the wild-type control.Together,our results underscore the potential to manipulate ARE1 orthologs through gene editing for breeding of high-yield wheat as well as other cereal crops with improved NUE.Jiahui Zhang Huating Zhang Shaoya Li Jingying Li Lei Yan Lanqin Xia 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,9:13
10Nerve growth factor pretreatment against glutamate-induced hippocampal neuronal injury Action mechanism of phosphatase and tensin homologue deleted on chromosome 10显示文摘BACKGROUND: Nerve growth factor (NGF) attenuates glutamate-induced injury to hippocampal neurons, and the human tumor suppressor gene phosphatase and tensin homologue deleted on chromosome 10 (PTEN) promotes neuronal apoptosis. However, effects of PTEN in NGF-mediated neuroprotection against glutamate excitotoxicity remain poorly understood. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between NGF inhibition of glutamate-induced injury and PTEN. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The randomized, controlled, in vitro study was performed at the Department of Pathophysiology, Medical School of Nantong University, China from October 2007 to March 2008. MATERIALS: Glutamate, NGF, 4, 6-diamidino-2-phenyl-indolediacetate, 3-[4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]- 2, 5-diphenyl tetrazoliumbromide (MTT), and lactate dehydrogenase kit (Sigma, USA), fluorescence microscope and inverted phase contrast microscope (Olympus, Japan) were used in this study. METHODS: Hippocampal neurons were obtained from newborn (< 24 hours) Sprague Dawley rats and cultured for 7 days. The control group was not treated with any intervention factor, the glutamate group was treated with glutamate (0.2 mmol/L), and NGF groups were treated with NGF (10, 50, 100, and 200 μg/L, respectively) prior to glutamate treatment. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The MTT and lactate dehydrogenase assays were applied to evaluate viability of hippocampal neurons. Morphological changes in hippocampal neurons were observed using an inverted phase-contrast microscope, and neuronal apoptosis was detected by 4, 6-diamidino-2-phenyl-indolediacetate staining. PTEN mRNA and protein expression were measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blot analysis, respectively. RESULTS: Glutamate (0.2 mmol/L) induced significantly decreased neuronal viability and greater lactate dehydrogenase efflux compared with the control group (P < 0.01). However, compared with the glutamate group, cell viability significantly increased and lactate dehydrogenase efflux decreased in the NGF group with increasing NGF concentrations (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). The apoptotic ratio and PTEN mRNA and protein expression decreased in the NGF group compared with the glutamate group (P < 0.01). 11Landslide susceptibility mapping using hybrid random forest with GeoDetector and RFE for factor optimization显示文摘The present study aims to develop two hybrid models to optimize the factors and enhance the predictive ability of the landslide susceptibility models.For this,a landslide inventory map was created with 406 historical landslides and 2030 non-landslide points,which was randomly divided into two datasets for model training(70%)and model testing(30%).22 factors were initially selected to establish a landslide factor database.We applied the GeoDetector and recursive feature elimination method(RFE)to address factor optimization to reduce information redundancy and collinearity in the data.Thereafter,the frequency ratio method,multicollinearity test,and interactive detector were used to analyze and evaluate the optimized factors.Subsequently,the random forest(RF)model was used to create a landslide susceptibility map with original and optimized factors.The resultant hybrid models GeoDetector-RF and RFE-RF were evaluated and compared by the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)and accuracy.The accuracy of the two hybrid models(0.868 for GeoDetector-RF and 0.869 for RFE-RF)were higher than that of the RF model(0.860),indicating that the hybrid models with factor optimization have high reliability and predictability.Both RFE-RF GeoDetector-RF had higher AUC values,respectively 0.863 and 0.860,than RF(0.853).These results confirm the ability of factor optimization methods to improve the performance of landslide susceptibility models.Xinzhi Zhou Haijia Wen Yalan Zhang Jiahui Xu Wengang Zhang 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,5:12
12Morphological Hydrogel Microfibers with MXene Encapsulation for Electronic Skin显示文摘Electronic skins with distinctive features have attracted remarkable attention from researchers because of their promising applications in flexible electronics.Here,we present novel morphologically conductive hydrogel microfibers with MXene encapsulation by using a multi-injection coflow glass capillary microfluidic chip.The coaxial flows in microchannels together with fast gelation between alginate and calcium ions ensure the formation of hollow straight as well as helical microfibers and guarantee the in situ encapsulation of MXene.The resultant hollow straight and helical MXene hydrogel microfibers were with highly controllable morphologies and package features.Benefiting from the easy manipulation of the microfluidics,the structure compositions and the sizes of MXene hydrogel microfibers could be easily tailored by varying different flow rates.It was demonstrated that these morphologically conductive MXene hydrogel microfibers were with outstanding capabilities of sensitive responses to motion and photothermal stimulations,according to their corresponding resistance changes.Thus,we believe that our morphologically conductive MXene hydrogel microfibers with these excellent features will find important applications in smart flexible electronics especially electronic skins.Jiahui Guo Yunru Yu Dagan Zhang Han Zhang Yuanjin Zhao 2021Research2021,,1:12
13Efficient Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) cycling triggered by MoO2 in Fenton reaction for the degradation of dye molecules and the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)显示文摘There is a relatively low efficiency of Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) conversion cycle and H2 O2 decomposition(<30%) in conventional Fenton process,which further results in a low production efficiency of ·OH and seriously restricts the application of Fenton.Herein,we report that the commercial MoO2 can be used as the cocatalyst in Fenton process to dramatically accelerate the oxidation of Lissamine rhodamine B(L-RhB),where the efficiency of Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) cycling is greatly enhanced in the Fenton reaction meanwhile.And the L-RhB solution could be degraded nearly 100% in 1 min in the MoO2 cocatalytic Fenton system under the optimal reaction condition,which is apparently better than that of the conventional Fenton system(~50%).Different from the conventional Fenton reaction where the ’OH plays an important role in the oxidation process,it shows that 1 O2 contributes most in the MoO2 cocatalytic Fenton reaction.However,it is found that the exposed Mo^4+ active sites on the surface of MoO2 powders can greatly promote the rate-limiting step of Fe^3+/Fe^2+ cycle conversion,thus minimizing the dosage of H2 O2(0.400 mmol/L) and Fe^2+(0.105 mmol/L).Interestingly,the MoO2 cocatalytic Fenton system also exhibits a good ability for reducing Cr(Ⅵ) ions,where the reduction ability for Cr(Ⅵ) reaches almost 100% within 2 h.In short,this work shows a new discovery for M002 cocatalytic advanced oxidation processes(AOPs),which devotes a lot to the practical water remediation application.Bin Shen Chencheng Dong Jiahui Ji Mingyang Xing Jinlong Zhang 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:11
14Efficient allelic replacement in rice by gene editing: A case study of the NRT1.1B gene显示文摘Precise replacement of an existing allele in commercial cultivars with an elite allele is a major goal in crop breeding. A single nucleotide polymorphism in the NRT1.1 B gene between japonica and indica rice is responsible for the improved nitrogen use efficiency in indica rice. Herein, we precisely replaced the japonica NRT1.1 B allele with the indica allele, in just one generation, using CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technology.No additional selective pressure was needed to enrich the precise replacement events. 16Sirt1-ROS-TRAF6 Signaling-Induced Pyroptosis Contributes to Early Injury in Ischemic Mice显示文摘Stroke is an acute cerebro-vascular disease with high incidence and poor prognosis,most commonly ischemic in nature.In recent years,increasing attention has been paid to inflammatory reactions as symptoms of a stroke.However,the role of inflammation in stroke and its underlying mechanisms require exploration.In this study,we evaluated the inflammatory reactions induced by acute ischemia and found that pyroptosis occurred after acute ischemia both in vivo and in vitro,as determined by interleukin-1β,apoptosis-associated speck-like protein,and caspase-1.The early inflammation resulted in irreversible ischemic injury,indicating that it deserves thorough investigation.Meanwhile,acute ischemia decreased the Sirtuin 1(Sirtl)protein levels,and increased the TRAF6(TNF receptor associated factor 6)protein and reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels.In further exploration,both Sirtl suppression and TRAF6 activation were found to contribute to this pyroptosis.Reduced Sirtl levels were responsible for the production of ROS and increased TRAF6 protein levels after ischemic exposure.Moreover,N-acetyl-L-cysteine,an ROS scavenger,suppressed the TRAF6 accumulation induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation via suppression of ROS bursts.These phenomena indicate that Sirtl is upstream of ROS,and ROS bursts result in increased TRAF6 levels.Further,the activation of Sirtl during the period of ischemia reduced ischemiainduced injury after 72 h of reperfusion in mice with middle cerebral artery occlusion.In sum,these results indicate that pyroptosis-dependent machinery contributes to the neural injury during acute ischemia via the Sirt1-ROS-TRAF6 signaling pathway.We propose that inflammatory reactions occur soon after oxidative stress and are detrimental to neuronal survival;this provides a promising therapeutic target against ischemic injuries such as a stroke.Weijie Yan Wei Sun Jiahui Fan Haiqing Wang Song Han Junfa Li Yanling Yin 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,8:9
17Visual Fixation Assessment in Patients with Disorders of Consciousness Based on Brain-Computer Interface显示文摘Visual fixation is an item in the visual function subscale of the Coma Recovery Scale-Revised(CRS-R).Sometimes clinicians using the behavioral scales find it difficult to detect because of the motor impairment in patients with disorders of consciousness(DOCs). Braincomputer interface(BCI) can be used to improve clinical assessment because it directly detects the brain response to an external stimulus in the absence of behavioral expression. In this study, we designed a BCI system to assist the visual fixation assessment of DOC patients. The results from 15 patients indicated that three showed visual fixation in both CRS-R and BCI assessments and one did not show such behavior in the CRS-R assessment but achieved significant online accuracy in the BCI assessment. The results revealed that electroencephalography-based BCI can detect the brain response for visual fixation. 18Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure,which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis.Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems.Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety,depression,insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety,insomnia and overall psychological problems.In addition,attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic,receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work,and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems.Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems.The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback.Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,3:8
19An Optimized Random Forest Model and Its Generalization Ability in Landslide Susceptibility Mapping:Application in Two Areas of Three Gorges Reservoir,China显示文摘Numerous researches have been published on the application of landslide susceptibility assessment models;however,they were only applied in the same areas as the models were originated,the effect of applying the models to other areas than the origin of the models has not been explored.This study is purposed to develop an optimized random forest(RF)model with best ratios of positive-to-negative cells and 10-fold cross-validation for landslide susceptibility mapping(LSM),and then explore its generalization ability not only in the area where the model is originated but also in area other than the origin of the model.Two typical counties(Fengjie County and Wushan County)in the Three Gorges Reservoir area,China,which have the same terrain and geological conditions,were selected as an example.To begin with,landslide inventory was prepared based on field investigations,satellite images,and historical records,and 1522 landslides were then identified in Fengjie County.22 landslide-conditioning factors under the influence of topography,geology,environmental conditions,and human activities were prepared.Then,combined with 10-fold cross-validation,three typical ratios of positive-to-negative cells,i.e.,1:1,1:5,and 1:10,were adopted for comparative analyses.An optimized RF model(Fengjie-based model)with the best ratios of positive-to-negative cells and 10-fold cross-validation was constructed.Finally,the Fengjie-based model was applied to Fengjie County and Wushan County,and the confusion matrix and area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve value(AUC)were used to estimate the accuracy.The Fengjie-based model delivered high stability and predictive capability in Fengjie County,indicating a great generalization ability of the model to the area where the model is originated.The LSM in Wushan County generated by the Fengjie-based model had a reasonable reference value,indicating the Fengjiebased model had a great generalization ability in area other than the origin of the model.The Fengjiebased model in this study could be applied in other similar areas/countries with the same terrain and geological conditions,and a LSM may be generated without collecting landslide information for modeling,so as to reduce workload and improve efficiency in practice.Deliang Sun Jiahui Xu Haijia Wen Yue Wang 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,6:8
20Creep characteristics of coal and rock investigated by nanoindentation显示文摘In coal mining industry,with the depth growing of coal mines,the creep behaviours of coal and rock can extensively affect the mining safety,coalbed methane recovery and geo-sequestration.To acquire a better insight into their creep characteristics,an efficient and robust researching technique,nanoindentation,was applied to investigate the creep performances of coal and rock samples obtained from two coal mines in the east of China.Creep characteristics were reflected by evaluating the curves of creep depth versus creep time of nanoindentation tests during the load-holding period at the peak load of 30 mN.These curves can be divided into two stages:transient stage and steady stage;and the time of load-holding period of 5 s,which is the dividing point between two stages,can efficiently avoid the influence of creep displacement on the unloading curves.The exponential function can perfectly fit creep curves and Kelvin model can be used to calculate the rheological parameters of coal and rock samples.Calculated results yield values for the creep modulus and viscosity terms of coal and rock.This study also settled a particular emphasis on the selection of the positions of indentations to obtain the rheological properties of mineralogical constituents in heterogonous coal and rock samples and their elastic aftereffect.Changlun Sun Guichen Li Mohamed Elgharib Gomah Jiahui Xu Yuantian Sun 2020International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,6:8
