| 1 | An Examination of the Predictability of Tropical Cyclone Genesis in High-Resolution Coupled Models with Dynamically Downscaled Coupled Data Assimilation Initialization显示文摘Predicting tropical cyclone(TC)genesis is of great societal importance but scientifically challenging.It requires fineresolution coupled models that properly represent air−sea interactions in the atmospheric responses to local warm sea surface temperatures and feedbacks,with aid from coherent coupled initialization.This study uses three sets of highresolution regional coupled models(RCMs)covering the Asia−Pacific(AP)region initialized with local observations and dynamically downscaled coupled data assimilation to evaluate the predictability of TC genesis in the West Pacific.The APRCMs consist of three sets of high-resolution configurations of the Weather Research and Forecasting−Regional Ocean Model System(WRF-ROMS):27-km WRF with 9-km ROMS,and 9-km WRF with 3-km ROMS.In this study,a 9-km WRF with 9-km ROMS coupled model system is also used in a case test for the predictability of TC genesis.Since the local sea surface temperatures and wind shear conditions that favor TC formation are better resolved,the enhanced-resolution coupled model tends to improve the predictability of TC genesis,which could be further improved by improving planetary boundary layer physics,thus resolving better air−sea and air−land interactions. | Mingkui LI Shaoqing ZHANG Lixin WU Xiaopei LIN Ping CHANG Gohkan DANABASOGLU Zhiqiang WEI Xiaolin YU Huiqin HU Xiaohui MA Weiwei MA Haoran ZHAO Dongning JIA Xin LIU Kai MAO Youwei MA Yingjing JIANG Xue WANG Guangliang LIU Yuhu CHEN | 2020 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,9: | 4 |
| 2 | Crystalline-amorphous interfaces of NiO-CrO_(x)electrocatalysts for boosting the urea oxidation reaction显示文摘The overall energy efficiency of electrochemical systems is severely hindered by the traditional anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Utilizing urea oxidation reaction(UOR)with lower thermodynamic potential to replace OER provides a promising strategy to enhance the energy efficiency.Amorphous and heterojunctions electrocatalysts have been aroused extensive studies owing to their unique physicochemical properties and outperformed activity.Herein,we report a simple method to construct a novel crystalline-amorphous NiO-CrO_(x)heterojunction grown on Ni foam for UOR electrocatalyst.The NiO-CrO_(x)electrocatalyst displays excellent UOR performance with an ultralow working potential of 1.32 V at 10 mA·cm^(−2)and ultra-long stability about 5 days even at 100 mA·cm^(−2).In-situ Raman analysis and temperature-programmed desorption(TPD)measurement verify that the presence of the amorphous CrO_(x)phase can boost the reconstruction from NiO to active NiOOH species and enhance adsorption ability of urea molecule.Besides,the unique crystalline-amorphous interfaces are also benefit to improving the UOR performance. | Xuejie Cao Tongzhou Wang Hongye Qin Guangliang Lin Lihua Zhao Lifang Jiao | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,3: | 1 |

| 7 | Synthesis and optical properties of novel apatite-type NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)yellow-emitting fluorophosphate phosphors for white LEDs显示文摘In this study,novel yellow-emitting fluorophosphate NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F phosphors doped with different concentrations of Dy^(3+)ions were first obtained via high-temperature solid-state reaction.The crystal structure,phase purity,particle morphology,photoluminescence(PL)properties,thermal stability,and luminescence decay curves of the resulting phosphors were then characterized in detail.Under the excitation of 349 nm,the three dominant peaks of the NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)are centered at 480 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(15/2)),577 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(13/2)),and 662 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(11/2)).The optimal doping concentration of Dy^(3+)ions in the NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:xDy^(3+)phosphors is x=5 mol%.The phosphors show excellent thermal stability with high activation energy(Ea=0.32 eV).Eventually,the synthesized white lightemitting diode(w-LED)demonstrates the Commission International de L’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinates of(0.341,0.334),a good correlated color temperature(CCT)of 5083 K,and a high color rendering index(Ra)of 92.Revealing its potential as yellow-emitting phosphors,the feasibility of the fabricated apatite-type NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)fluorophosphate phosphors was confirmed for wLEDs. | Yuan Wang Guangliang Lu Yang Qiu Wen Sun Siqi Qin Yifang Lin Bin Deng Dan zhang Ruijin Yu | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,12: | 0 |
